The desk woman was wonderful, give her a raise. The hotel room? Large, yes, but what good is that when they are too cheap to FURNISH it. Just huge, empty spaces with nowhere to sit but a desk, one hard chair. Tons of room for a cheap sofa, why not? You have to sit on the bed to watch tv. Walls were depressing Jail Gray and dirty white, very gloomy and very dark, not enough lighting. BOTH the front and bathroom doors had been kicked in and patched, with no attempt at repainting over the splits, breaks, and empty screw holes. The floor felt and was unclean, had to keep wiping our feet yo get in bed. Baseboards were filthy. Refrigerator looked from the 60's or 70's, VERY loud all night, microwave wouldnt spin. A new one is like $49, but no go, leave it broken.
Go to the other Motel 6, south side of town. MUCH nicer, cleaner rooms. Yhis is yhe worst Motel 6 we've ever been to, owners just dont care (but again, nice kind woman at the desk deserves a raise!)

The room is dangerous, not ADA compliant, I fell on the floor in the disability access bathroom due to it being improperly drained. The “management” aka Olga is threatening and unprofessional. When informed of falling in shower/bathroom, “management” couldn’t bother to even acknowledge. The regional is equally useless. Do not stay here if you value your health and safety.

The room was relatively clean, but had a terrible smell to it. We arrived after midnight and had an early morning, so we didn't ask to move rooms. If we weren't exhausted, I would have complained and switched. Also, the room didn't have any hot water. So if you enjoy cold showers and foul odors, this may be a great option for you.

Cheap place, great loctaion, next to grocery store, take out foods and 2 gas stations. The rooms are very poor, ive stayed here twice, both times the bed sheets have had stains, the bathrooms are not nice and ive seen a few cockroaches. The people in the surrounding area and rooms are sketchy, but its what you get for the price.

You get what you pay for. 3 stars is a fair acknowledgment. The staff worked hard checking people in with a smile. The room was clean but it needs more love. Things are just covered up with a slap of paint. And the sliding door to the bathroom was very awkward.
We slept and moved on. So still very grateful for a shelter.

Only 1 of the pools was open and our key didn’t work to open the door so the front desk has to let us in, there was no blankets on the bed just sheets. No where for food at the hotel like it was listed to have. The room wasn’t fully clean and the property in general including the room is not well kept.

I liked the bed. The front desk could not give me a receipt .I enjoyed my night. Except I have not received a receipt from Expedia. The site said $49-50 & I hope I was not over charged. I live in Fort Bragg & drove 5 hours & too tired to continue over the hill. The front desk informed me they do not know what a third party will charge. I am living on very low income & could have rested but it was worth $50 to stay at Motel 6 in Ukiah. Please email a receipt. Thank you, liza

Ok its no 5 star hilton. But its affordable, clean, has t.v, microwave,fridge, the staff (when I was there was absolutely amazing.) They require a $50 deposit which is hella cheap and my Maggie (service dog in training) was allowed with no extra deposit. I recommend this spot if you dont need a Hilton.

The toilet was actually lopsided…they’ll have plumbing issues in no time. Free internet sucked but luckily you’re so close to McDonald’s that you can pilfer off their free internet. No grassy spots/areas at all to walk your dog (if I didn’t have a dog I’d prob stay at other hotels but motel 6 is usually so convenient/great for dog owners)

One plus tho! The nice young lady that checked me in was a really sweet person!

The doors only had one lock and didn't seal (any insect, cockroach or bug could enter through). There were people sleeping on the ground in front of the building. The light sockets didn't meet standards for medical/oxygen equipment (OSA), bathroom faucet leaked. The only thing that gave the room an inviting look was the wooden floors. It took 10 minutes for the water to warm up for a shower. Renovation and innovation should meet the standards of today's population. We definitely won't be staying here again.

This place looks and feels like it is on the verge of collapsing around you. The smell of ammonia was so strong in our room we began to get dizzy and nauseous. We found stains on both beds, exposed wires, the bathroom mirror was cracked, and the room was so barren and spartan nothing about it felt welcoming. We were so not okay with the stains and smell that we left immediately. I can say the front desk person - who did not look surprised when I asked for a full refund - was helpful and efficient. The images used for advertising are like a bait and switch - nothing about them is real or honest. Would never go back!

Don’t stay here might as well me a halfway house

I paid for deluxe room they gave me a regular room. When asking for the deluxe room the front desk lady said I’d have to pay more. The tv didn’t work. The bedding wasn’t changed from previous stay there was other peoples hair in the bed. I’m not sure what type of scam they’re running but they but they even tried to give me a different refund then I paid. Almost refused to give me a receipt. Also the employee called me a broke a** b**** after talking about being in the wrong room. This employee also locked us out of our room went through our stuff and stole. My husband talked to the manager in the morning and she didn’t seem to care. She admitted employee had stolen our stuff and we could have it back only after we had a meeting with her. I’m a nurse and was up here for a traveling assignment and the employee stole a pair of my scrubs. Not once did the manager apologize. Actually she tried to act like I was ridiculous for being upset.

Love the wood carvings out front.
Went to sleep, got woke up by somebody pounding on back door. Got up, hollard at them they took off. Noticed back door was only closed by safety chain. Closed it and locked it. Also back door or framing warped. Floor was dirty, lot of dirt spread around, also one of the lights above the bed was not working. No cable TV. Ice machine not working.

I reserved this establishment for an overnight stay for my son and 2 teenage grandsons.

Worst Motel 6 they've ever stayed in. The wall had blood on it. There was a hole punched in the wall of the bathroom. The deadbolt didn't work. The parking lot had several drug addicts. My son said had I not already paid he would have left.

He said he had stayed at the Motel 6 With Ukiah before and it was decent.

This was Motel 6 North. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

If I could have give no stars I would have.

Spas were out of use & filled with mattresses. Very sketchy people hanging around, shower head in our room would swing around & spray water on the ceiling. Looked like our door had been kicked in-paint was missing and door didn’t align tightly w frame. Walls had patches -smooshed bug on the ceiling & every day at 11am your room key expires and u have to go to the front desk to get a new one!

I booked the room for 1 night to get some rest during a 9 Hr road trip, but didn’t end up staying at all! We got checked in and handed keys and the parking lot was full of sketchy looking people including guys drinking alcohol by their cars and 2 young girls who looked like they were on drugs. When we opened the door the bed was completely disheveled with sheets thrown everywhere and new immediately the room had not been cleaned. We requested a refund, but due to asking for a refund after check in were unable to get it back. We felt unsafe and didn’t want to bother getting another room key because the front desk clerk let us know someone had messed up and marked dirty rooms as clean so it wasn’t the only room in the hotel that would be in those conditions.

Top bed sheet had tears in it. There was a small cockroach crawling down the wall in which I disposed of. Luckily it was the only cockroach I saw and despite that the room was very clean. it's obvious that part of the property has been allocated to extended stay low cost housing. A lot of these tenants are hanging outside making the motel property appear sketchy an unsafe. Although the parking lot is well lit and there are security cameras monitoring it. At 5 AM there was a woman pounding on a door of one of these rooms screaming to be let in. There's plenty of places for food and fuel within walking distance.
