Room was clean. But the staff! He told me more than 5 times while checking in no pets or smoking. Like I get it. I don’t have a pet and will smoke outside. Then this old man clearly part of staff would stare at me. A lot! I finally confronted him and he said nothing. Not sure he understood English. Then while in the pool the lady came out all mad asking if we had a dog cause she heard barking which we didn’t. They were excessively over seeing us!

Overall this was an excellent value with clean and quiet place, friendly innkeeper, with the furnishings well maintained and comfortable. The only problem is that the ice machine was not working. Not a big issue for most folks but I am a diabetic.So I need to keep my backup supply of insulin cold and I usually repack my small ice chest everry night. Since the motel was just outside of town finding ice would have meant a little drive. It was only a one night stay so I decided just to wait until the morning.

I loved that it was very clean and had everything I needed: hair dryer, ironing board, microwave, frig, coffee maker, ice bucket, table and chairs to sit at, temperature control was just right. It also had a tv and remote which I didn't use because I was too tired when I got there late at night, and had to get up early. The comfortable bed made for a very restful sleep. I would definitely stay there again if I need a place to stay again in Ukiah. The price was very reasonable also.

Umm, what?

The $50 deposit that was required for the room was credited the day after we checked out, then the credit for the deposit was returned to the hotel per their request from my bank. I contacted the hotel and after I went through unbelievable hardship to just get my money back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We were in Ukiah for one night. America's Best Value Inn was a perfect property. It was a great location, just off the freeway off ramp. It was clean, easy check in, safe, ample parking, and the pool functioned exactly as designed! Will definitely return if we visit Ukiah again.

Horrible custome service, changed prices

They did not honor the price on the Hotels.com website. They originally tried to put us in a queen bed when we had requested 2 beds. They were able to accomodate
this, but then charged us an addition 20.00 per night on tne rate they had already increase. They lady at the front desk was nice and apologetic, but she was new and had to call her manager for help and the manger was rude and is the person who did all the proce increases. She said my mother stopped by the hotel and asked for the change in bed. My mother does not drive, nor does she speak English, lives over 2 hours from whete we staywd a d did not even know where I was staying. When I explained all this and that she must have me confused with someone else she doubled down and stated she didnt care if i belived her that is what had happened. I belive her name was Rita. She was so very rude. I will never stay here again and will let people know they should not stay here.

I really liked my stay. I would have given it a perfect review if one of the staff hadn't stood outside and screamed at my boyfriend just before we left. We are neat and don't tear things up (I'm 65, he almost is) she was flipping out over my service dog. I visit Ukiah/Willits often to see my twin. That's not a way to get me to come back.

This property looked OK from the appearance. I was traveling with my 10 year old son. Our restroom was not cleaned and there were urine stains all over the toilet. When we complained to the management they sent a cleaner to our room. We asked for a non-smoking room. But our comforter had burnt holes - looked like from a cigarette burn. People in rooms on either side of our room were from the same family or team. They were drinking and smoking and were walking between the rooms talking loudly. I felt uneasy and unsafe as I was with a 10-year old. I booked a different hotel and checked out within an hour of checking in. Maybe my experience was not typical but I did not have a good experience at this place.

I'd stay again. Easy access to/from hwy 101. Far enough away that it was quiet. The corner room 151 upstairs was very quiet. We didn’t hear noise/tv through walls. Clean, comfy, good blackout curtains.
The entry off Talmadge was a little hard to see in the dark. It comes into dark side of motel curving around to front office. It was dark and we were tired both nights. I pulled into the minimart next door at first.. Could use better lighting at entry off Talmadge.

The motel is close to the interstate and Grubhub would deliver directly to our door. They didn’t have bed bugs, so that’s a positive, right? The bedspread was disgusting and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, there was hair everywhere. There was a truck outside in the parking lot playing loud music that management did nothing about, but they were calling around to rooms at 10:00 at night asking people if they had a pet in their room. We paid way too much for this place and I would not recommend it to others.

Inept employee makes check in hard.

A typical motel stay in an old rundown town. The window staff had no idea what he was doing, at it took almost 20 minutes and he still couldn't find my reservation. He ended up checking me in manually (at the wrong price), and half an hour later he came to our room to say he had found my reservation so needed to run it again. That took another 5 minutes of waiting in the blowing cold wind outside the office. PLEASE open up the lobbies again in small motels; this is ridiculous to not have in-person service anywhere!

The facility was nice and looked new. Unfortunately the bedding was stained from the mattress to the bedspread. Even after we removed the stained bedspeead and blanket the sheets still had stains. It made a much needed rest uncomfotable. That was really too bad because the rest of the place was quite nice.

This place is just like any other hundred dollar a night hotel in California. Basically it’s a dump where traveling engineers and construction workers stay. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable giant hunks of rubber, the toilet ran all night in my room and connecting rooms. Television picture quality was poor. It’s what you’d expect. In the future I’ll pay the extra money to get better quality.

Thin blanket (we were cold), only one coffee in the room. We chose this hotel in part because the web site said breakfast included, but they were not serving food due to covid. The hotel should have let people know this in advance and reduce the price accordingly.
