Home away from home
Kim
Beds were absolutely terrible! They were nothing more than springs with a tad bit of cushion. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, but the showerhead was really dirty. The traffic on the road was nonstop throughout the night.
Megan
It was okay
David
It was a nice place staff was not very friendly but did their job made us come back at 3 pm to check in or pay extra
Robert
Quiet, clean , and religious friendly
Jan
We had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean and appeared to be well taken care of. The bed was comfortable and felt clean.
Kenneth
After being banned from motel 6 and the super 8 motels due to bringing I'll advised female guests to my room, this place took me in, gave me no trouble and I gave them no trouble in return. I appreciated their low room rates.
Angelina
Room was clean. But the staff! He told me more than 5 times while checking in no pets or smoking. Like I get it. I don’t have a pet and will smoke outside. Then this old man clearly part of staff would stare at me. A lot! I finally confronted him and he said nothing. Not sure he understood English. Then while in the pool the lady came out all mad asking if we had a dog cause she heard barking which we didn’t. They were excessively over seeing us!
Ronald
Clean room, good parking, nice .staff
Kenneth
This is my first time staying here, it is a pleasant place, great location, comfortable beds.
Brittany
The staff is very friendly and accommodating
Kevin
Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room.
Jamie
There was an AM/PM conveniently located next door. It was a clean property, quiet and safe. Parking was easy. No complaints. Only thing I'd change is I wished there was a hot tub on location.
H. Bradley
First stay in Ukiah . Lots more to choose from .
Kenneth
We went out to our event when we returned sitting in front of our room another group of people had a same computer key as me and entered my room if i hadn't been there they would've went in what if i would've been having sex with wy wife!!!
THI THU HIEN
Dirty and bad smells
Suzanne
Overall this was an excellent value with clean and quiet place, friendly innkeeper, with the furnishings well maintained and comfortable. The only problem is that the ice machine was not working. Not a big issue for most folks but I am a diabetic. So I need to keep my backup supply of insulin cold and I usually repack my small ice chest everry night. Since the motel was just outside of town finding ice would have meant a little drive. It was only a one night stay so I decided just to wait until the morning.
ericka
average
service was great, bed was very uncomfortable and next to a noisy road.
Karri
This property was clean and quiet. Nothing fancy, but a good place to stop and rest if that's all you need. Room was equipped with King sized bed, blow dryer, coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge and TV.
Brent
Excellent!
Best budget hotel in Ukiah! Large, clean room with a great king size bed, lots of towels and a big tv. The only place to stay if traveling through Ukiah!
Verified traveler
Always clean and quiet.
I like this little place. Always clean and quiet.
Ariel
Kind owners, very clean room, gas station right next door with also kind staff. Close to shopping and grocery stores.
Joan
It was great over all. It’s clean good beds comfortable quiet.Very good location. You can’t beat the price of this motel and they have very good amenities.
Patricia
I loved that it was very clean and had everything I needed: hair dryer, ironing board, microwave, frig, coffee maker, ice bucket, table and chairs to sit at, temperature control was just right. It also had a tv and remote which I didn't use because I was too tired when I got there late at night, and had to get up early. The comfortable bed made for a very restful sleep. I would definitely stay there again if I need a place to stay again in Ukiah. The price was very reasonable also.
Mark
Friendly.
Derrick
Umm, what?
The $50 deposit that was required for the room was credited the day after we checked out, then the credit for the deposit was returned to the hotel per their request from my bank. I contacted the hotel and after I went through unbelievable hardship to just get my money back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Greggory
We were in Ukiah for one night. America's Best Value Inn was a perfect property. It was a great location, just off the freeway off ramp. It was clean, easy check in, safe, ample parking, and the pool functioned exactly as designed! Will definitely return if we visit Ukiah again.
Matt
AC was not enough to cool the room.
David
Clean and comfortable and right off the highway without being noisy. Nothing fancy but not bad at all. Would stay again.
Kim

Nice place to overnight
Great room, so quiet. Everything worked. Clean. Slept like a log. I missed the driveway the first time coming in, it's a little bit tucked away, but no biggie. Very friendly check in person

Horrible custome service, changed prices
They did not honor the price on the Hotels.com website. They originally tried to put us in a queen bed when we had requested 2 beds. They were able to accomodate
this, but then charged us an addition 20.00 per night on tne rate they had already increase. They lady at the front desk was nice and apologetic, but she was new and had to call her manager for help and the manger was rude and is the person who did all the proce increases. She said my mother stopped by the hotel and asked for the change in bed. My mother does not drive, nor does she speak English, lives over 2 hours from whete we staywd a d did not even know where I was staying. When I explained all this and that she must have me confused with someone else she doubled down and stated she didnt care if i belived her that is what had happened. I belive her name was Rita. She was so very rude. I will never stay here again and will let people know they should not stay here.

the room was decent and bed sheets were ok. However, there is no breakfast provided and i tried to buy bottled water from vending machine and it was sold out. But in a location like that it was decent. Plus there is a gas station next to it, so it was relatively convenient.
David
Always very clean and in good condition. Friendly, courteous staff.
Lesley
I really liked my stay. I would have given it a perfect review if one of the staff hadn't stood outside and screamed at my boyfriend just before we left. We are neat and don't tear things up (I'm 65, he almost is) she was flipping out over my service dog. I visit Ukiah/Willits often to see my twin. That's not a way to get me to come back.

Last minute Reservation
Good for a last-minute stay, but the scent in the room was awful, I had to go by a candle.
Christina
Smelly room. Refrigerator not working, shower was good. Tv and remote worked. Staff not so friendly.
Jon
It's a no frills place.
Scott
Great stay!
Check in/out was quick and easy. Area was quiet. All requests accommodated. Room was clean, bed comfortable, everything worked well; might suggest mini-coffee pot machine upgrade, but worked fine. Nice water pressure with working shower head.

Great place, great stay!
This is my favorite budget hotel in Ukiah. It's just across the highway from the busier business district. It's quiet and recently remodeled.
Chris
Clean and very decent for the area
Richard
No toiletries in room. Bed was awful. Saggy all directions. We both woke up with back and neck issues.

This property looked OK from the appearance. I was traveling with my 10 year old son. Our restroom was not cleaned and there were urine stains all over the toilet. When we complained to the management they sent a cleaner to our room. We asked for a non-smoking room. But our comforter had burnt holes - looked like from a cigarette burn. People in rooms on either side of our room were from the same family or team. They were drinking and smoking and were walking between the rooms talking loudly. I felt uneasy and unsafe as I was with a 10-year old. I booked a different hotel and checked out within an hour of checking in. Maybe my experience was not typical but I did not have a good experience at this place.
Gary
Very quiet & clean inside. Bed was comfortable.
Angela
The blanket and coverlet were thin and had stains on them. Yuck! The office staff person was very nice when checking in but one of the cleaning staff guys had an attitude when I asked him to open my room to retrieve my glasses.
Sunset
Huge room, very clean. Will stay again
June
I'd stay again.
I'd stay again. Easy access to/from hwy 101. Far enough away that it was quiet. The corner room 151 upstairs was very quiet. We didn’t hear noise/tv through walls. Clean, comfy, good blackout curtains.
The entry off Talmadge was a little hard to see in the dark. It comes into dark side of motel curving around to front office. It was dark and we were tired both nights. I pulled into the minimart next door at first.. Could use better lighting at entry off Talmadge.

clean, accessible, refrigerator, other amenities. Needed lamps over the bed on each side for reading.
Douglas
The room was neat and clean and well kept
Jill
Room was clean, although there was a small stain on the bed cover. They're was a fridge an free a microwave, as well as a small coffee pot. The room was not luxurious but if you're looking for a reasonably priced, clean room, this will definitely be a good choice.
Gilberto
the manager was super nice, the only thing that wasnt great was the weather! still had a good time inexpensive and nice enough

Angela
Good enough for short stay
Average stay for comfort and amenities. Customer service was good, friendly. Poor driveway access.
Quintina
Property was good only thing Indidnt like is they charg an additional 20.00!dollar fee per night for teens my daughter is 15 years old I never have had to pay a fee before and we travel a lot just seemed rather odd.

Way to noisy. The walls are so thin to could hear the cockroaches fart in the next room. Rowdy guests partying until midnight.

Room was ok but dirty, the worst example being the dried poop next to the toilet’s flushing handle. Positives? I guess the fact that the parking space was directly outside the room qualifies.
David
very clean, newly updates, very friendly, great place to stay!
Trina
Loud air conditioner
Comfortable stay but the air conditioner was so loud it made our ears ring and we couldn't use it. Difficult in 100 degree plus weather :(
Ronald
Nice place

The motel is close to the interstate and Grubhub would deliver directly to our door. They didn’t have bed bugs, so that’s a positive, right? The bedspread was disgusting and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, there was hair everywhere. There was a truck outside in the parking lot playing loud music that management did nothing about, but they were calling around to rooms at 10:00 at night asking people if they had a pet in their room. We paid way too much for this place and I would not recommend it to others.

I liked the customer service.
The blanket was very thin and I would have liked a thicker comforter. Area was nice, clean and felt safe. A gym would be nice

The room and property was clean and comfortable. Nothing was said about a complimentary breakfast at check in but it was listed as a feature in the services handbook. So I was disappointed to find it closed the next morning.

Inept employee makes check in hard.
A typical motel stay in an old rundown town. The window staff had no idea what he was doing, at it took almost 20 minutes and he still couldn't find my reservation. He ended up checking me in manually (at the wrong price), and half an hour later he came to our room to say he had found my reservation so needed to run it again. That took another 5 minutes of waiting in the blowing cold wind outside the office. PLEASE open up the lobbies again in small motels; this is ridiculous to not have in-person service anywhere!

Very clean and the amendments were good. No complaints at all, will stay there again when I go to CA

Internet was out the whole week I was there.
Michelle
Great stay, easy location off the 101, clean and friendly staff. Would come again.

The facility was nice and looked new. Unfortunately the bedding was stained from the mattress to the bedspread. Even after we removed the stained bedspeead and blanket the sheets still had stains. It made a much needed rest uncomfotable. That was really too bad because the rest of the place was quite nice.

Card didn’t work for room, too many nosey people, unpleasant stay

Our stay was pleasant and the price was right. The only negative thing was that the person who checked us in seemed grumpy.

Great

This place is just like any other hundred dollar a night hotel in California. Basically it’s a dump where traveling engineers and construction workers stay. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable giant hunks of rubber, the toilet ran all night in my room and connecting rooms. Television picture quality was poor. It’s what you’d expect. In the future I’ll pay the extra money to get better quality.
