Great location. If your booking this expecting a waldorf Astoria that's not what it is? Its a humble older sheraton with great staff. Appreciated my youngin' Ahmer hospitality with early checking as my son and I had a long day. Again rooms are solid spacious bathroom was solid. Its a great bivouac spot( compliment) to go check out DC. Warning if you are using a rental car to go back and forth across the bridge the traffic to DC is atrocious!

Location is ideal if you are going to Arlington cemetery but otherwise this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Not near any metro stops so you will need a car if you’re going anywhere else. There was a baby and dog in the room next to us and the walls must be thin because the dog barking and the baby crying woke us up repeatedly. Nice that they allow pets and welcome families but not good if you’re in the next room. The room was very clean and restaurant and cleaning staff very friendly. Front desk not so nice and they never answer the phone.

Hotel provides shuttle to and from DCA. Takes about 5-10 minutes.
Common areas and the bar are nice.

Room was not good. AC was so loud I turned off. In the room there were exposed wires, wall paper peeling, broken USB sockets, holes in paneling. Items a well maintained hotel would have sorted out.

This is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed at. I have this issue where hotels gross me out, but I did not have that feeling there due to how clean it was! I had the option to adjust my AC temperature which was really nice because I get really cold.
Overall, O enjoyed staying at the Sheraton Pentagon City hotel and would definitely go back there.

This hotel definitely saw better days. My room smelled like mold, the staircases were very unsafe, dirty, no carpet. The elevator from the parking garage didn't work, but the hotel was kind enough to not charge for parking to make up for it.

Please think twice about going here if you are an airport traveler. The shuttle service is absurd (we waited one hour and twenty minutes). We only chose this hotel cause it was close and with a shuttle and because I stayed at the Sheraton in Crystal City and it was great. This one is not. Guests go there to party and make lots of noise. We did not sleep at all and would never step into this Sheraton again.

However, Sou Chef Javon was outstanding. He saw us trying to get our luggage in and he grabbed our bags and took them to our room and later returned with bottles of cold water to ensure we felt welcome. He deserves a raise.

As usual we go to check in and everything was fine. A young man named Amier checked us in & everything was great. We went to the garage to park the car & gather our luggage to head to the room & imagine our surprise when the elevator was out of service. We were NOT told this upon checking in. There were no signs as to were to go. We had to search the garage for the stairs. My husband carried the luggage but we had other bags that were not light that I had to carry up 2 flights of stairs. Later that day when seeing Amier I asked why he did not let us know about the elevator he shrugged his shoulders and said my bad & kept doing his paperwork. I don't believe for 1 minute that he felt bad or really was sorry in any way. We have stayed at this hotel for years coming to that area. I spoke to Arya upon check out & told her everything she assured me that her supervisor Michelle would be calling me. Well that never happened. I was also told that I was not the only person that Amier did not tell about the elevator. There are pleanty of hotels in that area & it looks like we will have to find another one to stay at. As I certainly understand a hotel being under construction, it was the attitude of Amier that was my disappointment in the hotel. Also the fact that I could not get the chance to speak with his supervisor at some point.

The airport shuttle was terrible - it was 90+ degrees and the driver would not turn on the AC, it was SO SO SO hot in that box truck that they call a shuttle. We ended up taking a Lyft back to the airport when we left.

We were put in 2 rooms in the \"Mezanine\" building (which seemed like it was not as nice as the main tower). The rooms weren't great and they put my family on 2 different floors instead of near each other.

Staff was pretty nice and the breakfast was excellent.

None of the elevators in the parking deck work, there is no option for stairs. So imagine me and my daughter going to each elevator with my luggage thinking “oh maybe it’s just one elevator” no it was all elevators. My daughter and I had to walk out of the parking deck, up a small hill and a short street/drive through that’s used for checking in and out. We were not informed that the elevator or the security automatic gate arms did not work. I think this is something that needed to be said along with the price when the staff asked was we parking a vehicle on the property and how much it would be. I found this to be a safety risk for anyone who had to access the parking deck at night. Also it’s two separate building the building with the lobby is nicer and I do believe that’s side and the rooms on that side is the photos used for advertising. I booked thinking I was staying in a nice hotel for my graduation trip only to be sadly mistaken.

The sheets were clean, but the comforter had strange spots between the layers. It was disgusting. You could only see them when holding it up to sunlight or a bright light. What made it even worse was that I only discovered it right before checking out, meaning I had slept in that bed for my entire stay.

Some staff members were friendly, while others came across as cold. I appreciated their help with luggage storage and replacing room keys. I didn’t bring up the comforter issue because I was worried about getting my deposit back, and some staff members did not seem particularly approachable.

The window view was okay. You can see the Air Force Memorial and the Washington Monument in the distance, but otherwise it’s mostly a highway view. I didn’t mind it. The room also had a nice sitting area with a comfortable couch, a modern table with plenty of charging outlets, and cozy lighting.

As for the location, if you’re visiting Washington, DC, it’s quite far from the city. There are buses and trains available, but schedules can change, delays happen, and missing a connection can add significant travel time. If you plan to spend most of your time in DC, I would recommend staying closer to the city.

The airport shuttle was a nice amenity, but with only one shuttle per hour, it wasn’t very practical for airport drop offs.

The lobby was nice.

The breakfast buffet was about $23, which isn’t terrible, but for the price of the hotel, I expected cleaner accommodations, friendlier

I had a window in my room break by the weather, The staff quickly took over the situation moved us to another room that was comparable. I must say this was a very good stay. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel.

My family and I booked and paid our room weeks in advance and traveled over 9 hours from home with a child, expecting to have accommodations upon arrival. Instead, we were informed that no rooms were available. To make matters worse, the front desk employee initially told us a room was available and even charged my card for incidentals.

The situation became even more concerning when we were given a room key to a room already occupied by another guest, which is a serious privacy and security issue. After that, we were directed to what appeared to be a storage room. When I returned to the front desk seeking clarification, then I was then told that there were actually no rooms available at all.

As a result, my child and I were left sitting in the hotel lobby until 5:00 a.m. because we had nowhere else to go. After traveling such a long distance and having a confirmed and paid reservation, this level of disorganization, lack of communication, and disregard for guests is unacceptable.

I understand that issues can arise, but the way this situation was handled showed a complete lack of professionalism and concern for a family stranded in the middle of the night. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience and hope management takes steps to address these serious operational and guest service failures.

Everything was exceptional. Front desk receptionists were awesome and accommodating. My only complaint is the bartender- we arrived late and my sister wanted to enjoy the happy hour (I wasn’t there yet). Can’t remember what time it ended but she had 10 minutes. He waited to serve her until after it ended. She’s non confrontational (I’m not). It’s called Unreasonable Hospitality- she would’ve gotten 1 happy hour drink but she would’ve felt like we did when we checked in (like we mattered). Instead she got 1 drink and left and his tip was light so he only hurt himself in the end. May want to educate a what good customer service looks like.

The customer facing staff were wonderful - especially the shuttle bus drivers to the airport and mall. However, this is an old property that is not being maintained super well. We found bugs in our first room (in the small East Tower) and had to be moved to another room in the main tower. Thankfully, the new room was in better shape. The shuttle bus was also having mechanical issues… the driver had been trying to report the issues but he was ignored until we had to speak with management on his behalf. Overall, the staff were great but not sure that we would stay again.

Helpful front desk, room was cleaned every day and the housekeeper was very friendly. Note that the shuttles for the airport don't operate before 6 am and it was inconvenient for our traveling. Also the shuttle to the mall was quite inconsistent, we couldn't use it as much since the hours of operation were not clear.
Overall, I would stay again here because it's a great location and easy to move around.

No pool as seen in images, apparently it has been closed down. Elevator did not work, forcing guests to drag suitcases to the parking lot. AC very loud. TV did not work. Bathroom light flickered on and off, like a cheap hotel. For the price, I don't recommend. Offers breakfast, staff in dining area were nice. Water bottle was $5.00. Parking is $30 a day but I was not charged, which I am grateful. Lots of construction outside hotel, dusty. No place to walk around unless driving somewhere. Garage smelled.

If you need to get the Pentagon, this is a prime location with some great views. Rooms were clean and there had been some updates, including a great working table with power supplies and room for 4 people to work in a room if needed.

Some updates had been left undone, like rusted bathroom doors, old shower heads, and showers that had limited water pressure. Internet was fine, and restaurant was open until 11:00 p.m., which is a plus.

The negatives involved having a personal items either thrown out or removed from my room. This was reported to the front desk, and no one followed-up. As of today, the manager at the front desk knew nothing about the incident, which demonstrates a lack of attention to security.

Shuttles are offered to metro (nearest station was closed over the weekend), but only starting at 9:30 a.m., by which time most people are at work or out doing tourist activities. The shuttle only runs once/hour to the airport instead of being available on call. Great if you can hit it, but seems to lack a focus on guests' needs.

To reach a metro station, you must walk nearly 3/4 of a mile, hence the need for a more frequent shuttle starting earlier in the day.

Some nice amenities, but doubt I would stay again given the need to Uber everywhere and given the lack of attention to security matters.

When I first arrive I had checked in early. They was very helpful and let me do it free of charge. Took a shower and took a nap. Woke up used the bathroom and the toilet didn’t flush. I let front desk know and they moved me to the room across the hall. Wonderful!!! I was there for 5 days. 4th day I took a shower and walked back in the bed area. Seen a black bug on my pillow. I instantly got pissed. Bed bug was on the pillow. Should’ve took a picture but I washed it off the pillow into the sink. I called my friend and she let me come to her room at another hotel that night. I went back to my room and packed but I’m not bringing them clothes into my house. Have to take them to a laundry m

I came here to stay ai what I believed was a nice hotel because that is what my dad had wanted when he was still alive. He had gone to Washington DC on an honor flight because of his service in the Navy. He passed away so I was making this trip with my mother for his internment. my mother is 81 years old and we were stuck out in the rain for over an hour and a half for the airport shuttle. Got to the hotel and when we complained we felt as if we were being made fun of us. They gave us two breakfast vouchers but the food was cold both days.We were told you had to pay security deposit and the one time I tried to pay for my dinner by signing for my meal I was told it was declined. I went to the front desk and eas told that it was because of how I booked which I said was crazy because I didn’t want to pay for any extras in the first place but was not given any choice. I paid for my meal without charging anything to my room. Poor location if you want to see the sights in DC unless you drive because you have to take a taxi to everything.. We checked out and I booked us into another hotel. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone . It was a bad way to start what was a hard trip anyway. Still waiting for money back from security deposit that we were told would take 3 to 5 days. It has already been 7 days since I checked out.No washcloths in the bathrooms and no garbage cans in the bathrooms either.Such a rotten way to start our trip.

Overall, our stay was good. We stayed in the smaller building, not the main tall building, and unfortunately some of the rooms had a very strong odor that was unbearable. The staff was helpful and worked with us to switch rooms, which we appreciated. However, the new room had some bathroom issues, so the stay was not as smooth as we hoped.

The staff’s response was positive, but the hotel should definitely address the odor and maintenance issues in the smaller building.

The room was very satisfactory. There was one receptionist who was not super friendly or helpful. They were also very short-staffed at the breakfast bar and buffet, so there were long wait times. I also wish there was more than 1 microwave in the dining area. It would be nice to have microwaves in the rooms. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this as an affordable option in the DMV area.
