Ordered room service and they forgot items. Called customer service and talked to the restaurant directly and I still never got my items AND was charged for the entirety of the order. Key cards kept getting deactivated and had to visit the desk more than once. Shuttle was great and timely. Questions asked were always met apart from the situations above.

We stayed at the Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel in Washington, D.C., from April 11th to April 12th for one night, and unfortunately encountered several issues. We booked one room, but upon arrival, we were given a different one. When we tried to access this room, we faced difficulties, and had to seek assistance from the concierge. Unfortunately, the manager, Talisha, who came to help not only displayed a lack of courtesy but also treated us in a very discourteous manner, making us feel at fault. Additionally, the porter promised us a compensation by reducing the parking fee, but this was never done. No one apologized to us, leaving us feeling even more uncomfortable. In the end, we were left in an uncomfortable situation. We hope that the hotel management will take this feedback into account and take measures to improve their service.”

No where on their website does it indicate that you must be 21 to check in. My daughter had reservations and was met with a manager with a bad attitude. When she could have simply explained the situation instead of being rude and saying we're not letting you check in. I called and spoke to an uneducated employee who told me to look at the site for the age. Which again is not listed. He procedeed to tell me i can change the name to my daughters friend who is over 21. I did that and then they told them they dont see the reservation at all. Although i sent them the reservation invoice and reservation number with the friend name on it. Needless to say i had to call who i made the reservations with to call the hotel for me. Which then they were able to check in almost 2hrs later and a lifetime of embarrassment for those young ladies. So there will NOT be a return visit.

The hotel itself was very clean, in a great location, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We really appreciated how convenient everything was and how well the property was maintained.

However, the breakfast buffet was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price. It was far too expensive for what was offered. The food quality was poor—particularly the scrambled eggs, which were honestly some of the worst we’ve had. To make matters worse, when we arrived at the restaurant, even the glasses had an unpleasant smell, which made for a very bad start to the day.

Overall, while the hotel and staff were great, the dining experience needs serious improvement.

My first 2 nights were horrible. I stayed in an annex type building which was like a dungeon . There was no phone and cold water coming out boiling hot. Maintenance came and resolved both quickly . However, at 3:00 am there were people screaming and slamming doors- felt like an earthquake . Just when that settled, the water pipes were moaning and squeaking loudly all morning. Then, no hot water in shower. The following night no screaming and slamming but the pipes were horrible and add some kind of drilling noise to that. I finally got moved to main tower which was satisfactory - I will never return .

Even though the hotel seems out of the way the hotel has made an allowance for this. The shuttle service to and from the airport is wonderful. The shuttle also takes you to the mall and subway and drops you off in front of both. Just check with the front desk to ensure the times which are consistent. We ate several times at the mall. The price of the Expedia package was great, and we wouldn't hesitate to utilize this deal again. We heard horror stories about car tickets from cameras around DC. I wouldn't rent a car and we appreciated the hotel transportation.

My son lives in The Witmer, and this is where I always stay when I visit. This was the WORST experience ever. I booked a King bed, on an upper floor the previous week, and paid in Full. I was unable to pre check-in on the Ap so I called, and called, and called. No one picked up the phone. When I arrived at 9:00 pm, they had given my room away. The woman at the Front Desk was extremely RUDE to me and said they were sold out. After a very long wait, I was given a Handicapped Room on the 3rd floor. The room was horrible and the AC was not working properly. My son and his wife were upset for me.

The worst stay I’ve ever had. When we checked in, the tissue box was empty and the bathtub didn’t look clean. But the most serious issue was that our room door was left unlocked two nights in a row, with no resolution from staff.
The first night, when we returned and found the door unlocked, I called the front desk. I was told a manager would contact me in the morning, but I never received a call.
The next day, we made absolutely sure the door was locked before leaving. When we came back, it was unlocked again. This time, we took photos and reported it to the front desk in person. The staff member wrote down my name and room number and again promised that a manager would follow up the next morning. Once again, no one contacted me.
This is a serious safety concern, and the lack of response from management made it even worse. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to others.

I had a wonderful stay at Sheraton Pentagon City Hotel. The staff was professional, friendly, and very helpful from check-in through check-out. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making for a very relaxing stay.

The location is excellent—convenient to shopping, dining, and easy access to Washington, D.C. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming, and the amenities met all expectations.

I truly appreciated the quality of service and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arlington or the D.C. area. I would be happy to stay here again.

Before arrival, I called and messaged the hotel multiple times to inquire the shuttle bus service, but I received no response—not even when contacting them through the booking intermediary, Expedia. The hotel lacked even basic in-room amenities, such as drinking water, I have to go very far to buy. The signage directing guests to the rooms was also unclear. A renowned brand like Sheraton should certainly offer a higher standard of service.

Staff was great!! Beds are firm and pillows are soft so slept like a baby!! They have a shuttle to the airport and Pentagon City were you can do shopping and dining or take the metro rail anywhere you want! It was a great stay!

I wish the pool amenity could be removed so people do not have the expectation of a good splash, but other than that the hotel is amazing, a great place to stay when visiting DC.

I had a great stay at the Sheraton Pentagon Hotel. The staff was amazing from start to finish — friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which made a big difference throughout the stay. The rooms were clean and well‑maintained, and housekeeping did a nice job keeping everything comfortable.
It’s clearly an older building, but it’s been cared for, and nothing felt neglected. One of the biggest perks is the daily shuttle service, which runs to the Pentagon Fashion Centre (mall) and Reagan National Airport — extremely convenient and a really nice added benefit.
The gym is also solid — nothing fancy, but it has everything you need for a good workout, including cardio machines and weights.
Overall, it’s a dependable hotel with great staff, clean rooms, and very convenient transportation options. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you need easy access to the Pentagon area or DCA.

I had a handicapped person with me and I was denied a room in the main tower with easy elevator access. I did not know the physical layout of the property and I was told by the manger I should’ve called a head, which I would’ve done if I knew. It was inconvenient for me, the stairs were an issue, we had to take a lift, then the elevator. It was really uncomfortable and inconvenient. My stay was 3/27-3/29.

Worst property - Not suitable for families - they put you on the secondary building which has worst amenities and rooms are very old and have foul smell. No phone in the room, no proper lighting. The building appears to be quite aged. The rooms are compact and exhibit significant issues, including an unusual appearance in the ceiling paint. The door does not close securely. The bathroom shower has low water pressure, and there is an insufficient supply of towels. The air conditioning system is not functioning optimally, as the room remains warm despite the thermostat being set to the lowest temperature. The only commendable aspect is the availability of garage parking.

Would definitely stay here again. The gentleman at the desk that checked us in was very nice. Our requests for extra blankets was handled quickly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was good but I would likely not have breakfast there again. I feel the breakfast was a bit overpriced for a routine buffet similar to many that are included in other hotels, especially considering the price paid for the rooms. Our breakfast for three people cost more than our dinner did.

The Expedia app said to call for shuttle. No one answered the phone both times I called. They wouldn't comp me for my Lyft expense because I booked with Expedia. The Shuttle goes to terminal 1 every hour on the hour. My room had a malfunctioning toilet so I requested to be moved. The second room was good except there was no hair dryer. There was also some suspicious activity outside the hall of the lower level room i was originally assigned. The desk staff were younger and not very polite. The Shuttle driver I met the next morning was very kind! But his drivers seat was broken and he was using a personal pillow just to make it more comfortable. It just seemed like the typical HUGE business with overworked or undercared for employees running things and having the excuse of things being out of their control. Breakfast was awesome! The room was clean! Overall I would stay again but Expedia should be more clear about the shuttle service directions.

Our trouble started when we went to our room. The door would not open. I had to use my body to get the door open since we were in we agreed to wait til morning to report the problem. We turned the heat on as it was cool in the room, got ready for bed and then the heater started making a banging noise. Needless to say we did not sleep well. The next morning we reported the problems, were told someone would fix them and off we went. Upon return we were happy to see that the door opened much easier, only a little push, the heater how ever still made a noise. I went to the frunt desk to get blankets and to again report the problem with the heater. I was assured someone would be up to look at it. That never happened. The blankets came in handy. The next morning I went to get coffee, came back to the room and had to bust down the door again. Needless to say I was glad we were leaving.
The staff was very friendly and helpful despite consistent long lines at the check n counter.

We booked this hotel for one night stay in DC and enjoy Cherry Blossom. We got room in the 2nd building which I didn’t expect. It was in the 1st floor. The room was ok. Water in the system was smelly and the shower was terrible. I purchased breakfast from Expedia site that allowed me to buy for two adults only during booking, so I thought kids would eat free. However, I had to pay for my older son (14 years). The front desk appeared to be rigid if not rude. Breakfast was fresh, but with a $25 breakfast, I would have preferred some places.

The bathroom was quite cramped, and the air conditioning was also not working properly. When we arrived at the front desk for check-in, the front staff took almost 20 minutes to talk to us. Moreover, there were no other guests present, and no one else was attempting to check in.

It seems very dated. Our room had bad plumbing. The shower drain was so slow that by the time you finished showering you were standing in 4 inches of water. The water coming out of the showerhead was either intolerably hot or tired of the cold. It took three or four minutes before you could find a decent temperature and if you left the shower in that position to turn on the next day, you had to start the whole process over again. We complain to the staff the first day and they said they would fix it but never did. There was usually only one worker at the front desk and there was a long line to speak to that person so we didn’t complain a second or third time.

The lobby was beautiful, however the building that was where our room was located, was not. It had an odd smell, the doors didn’t close right and the room was starting to look run down. I asked for a fridge and we got a mini fridge that was so dinged up, I thought it was a sidewalk find. The bedsheet had an odd stain on it, and we found out in the middle of the night that our toilet was leaking into another room. The plugs by the bedsides didn’t work either. It was ok for its purpose (2 night trip), but i don’t think I would stay again.
