Hotel itself is great as usual. The people were horrible!! I was so surprised - also my son got salmonella poisoning from the restaurant - not a great way to begin our trip. They covered our meal, but my son was sick for days from raw chicken. It could have been worse though...The waitress was the only person pleasant. Very rude people here but seems to be the norm.

The room itself could have had a tad bit better lighting, the floor in the tub was dirty, the WiFi in our room didn’t work contacted front desk for no one to give any kind of assistance, parking was $50 a night, the night we stayed children decided to play knock knock on different doors all night and run up and down the halls until security came but once they left they were back at it. We checked out at 7 in the morning cancelled our stay for the next evening NEVER EVER AGAIN IN LIFE WILL I EVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

The room's heater ran all night but never reached its temperature (room 308). There was alsoa fire at 1am, which I know can be accidental, however I thought there could have been better communication. We stood outside and in the lobby for over an hour. It was very cold. I'm sure there are extra blankets somewhere. We could quickly tell the fire was minor by the firefighters reactions and equipment be being brought in, however, nothing was announced, an apology for the inconvenience or updates. I felt like we were left in the dark. The Embassy Suites brand has always been a our go to; this hotel inparticular. But I feel we might shop around next trip.

We liked that the sleeping area was separate. Also, that it was in close proximity to the memorials, monuments, and airport. We were sad that we missed breakfast. We needed help with the room and someone arrived to help as soon as we reported the problem and was really nice about it bring it was close to 11 pm. You are our “go to” on our next visit.

The condition of the room was unacceptable. There was exposed wiring above the kitchen sink, the cabinet above the sink was falling apart, the bathroom shower faucet had been obviously repaired poorly- hot was cold and cold was hot. There was no do not disturb door hanger. When I asked at the front desk I was told there were no do not disturb door hangers available. They gave me a door hanger that said there was a pet in my room (we did not have a pet in the room). Apparently there was a very large group of possibly middle school aged children staying on the property, they were up running around the hotel talking and yelling until approximately 1am. No one from the hotel staff enforced any quiet rules.

By the third night my wife and I began feeling ill with respiratory issues, specifically coughing and shortness of breath. We initially thought it was a cold however lacked many other common symptoms such as nasal congestion, body aches, sore throat, etc. I looked at the AC register and vents in the room and discovered black mold.

I had informed front desk staff of the do not disturb sign, housekeeping, and noise issue. The guest behind me had the same complaint; he too asked for a do not disturb sign and complained about the noise from last night. I informed front desk staff of the black mold issue as well. The desk person said they would look into it. I did show him the photos on my phone as well when explaining the issue.

My family stays in Embassy Suites wherever we go. This was the worst. The breakfast wasn’t up to par and the happy hour was less than to be desired. It was almost like we were bothering the bartender. We were not aware that the bar and restaurant were not open on Tuesday night before Thanksgiving. I truly understand people taking off for the holidays, but it is always good to let your customers know ahead of time because they plan their day accordingly. The shuttle to and from the airport was not reliable. The front desk had to order a Lyft because the shuttle never showed. Just very disappointed in this stay.

Never have I had to wait so long to check in. The woman Helen has no customer service skills. With no one around, she continued typing rather than check me in-tired from a flight and hungry. I left my bag and went to sit in the chair across from her in the lobby. Another person came from the elevator and asked her a question. Unlike me who she told to wait, she proceeded to help the lady for a while then took care of me without even apologizing. As a doctor, I am aware of people waiting and how it irritates them so I always apologize to patients-even if I am on time-for the wait. The gentleman at the podium post was kind, courteous and helpful. He helped me find a CVS and a place to eat and asked me how it went when he saw me again. Great customer service. Perhaps getting more front desk people on a Saturday would help but hands down the worst front desk I have seen ever in any hotel.

Not worth it!

I was charged a 100 deposit when I checked in that I was not told about before.
The room is very out dated. In the restroom were tiny roaches crawling on the sink area. I couldn’t put my stuff on the counter cause I was scared to get roaches in it.
The room is very dark with no lighting. I guess so you can’t see the roaches crawling.
The room smells very musty and stuffy like the AC has never been cleaned . I asked for a 1pm checkout and was denied cause they were sold out. Funny thing is at 12pm when I was told I had to check out I sat in the dining area since my flight wasn’t till 7pm and it was raining out. They didn’t go into my room to clean till almost 3pm! But demanded me out by 12pm or I would be charged another night.
I was given 2 drink tickets one for me and one for my partner and was told happy hour was from 630-730. We went down at 645 and was told no it was from 530-630 and we couldn’t use the tickets! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone coming to this area for the price for the night take ur money to a newer hotel and get its worth.

I only stayed 1 night, and left early in the morning. Room was affordable, and big. Bed comfortable, the food in the restaurant was very good (wings/sliders/quesadillas) - and the staff was extra friendly there, and went over/beyond service. Parking garage was easy to maneuver - although pricey at $50/night. Only negative was that neither of our TV's worked. I didn't really want to watch shows, but would have been nice to hear the news while I was getting ready. There was \"no signal\" on both TV's - in living room and bedroom. Hotel appears somewhat dated with dark wood/doors and decor - could use an updated, and things should be repainted - but overall it was a 4 out of 5 for a slightly dated hotel. All toilietries were offered, although they are the eco-friendly ones - so the shampoo doesn't suds up, etc...but they are there. Iron/board/hair dryer/safe/fridge/coffee maker...etc. Views are nice of the city, appears to be many shops around - although I didn't have time to explore them. Hotel apparently offers pet stay - as I saw a few people with them - if you need that information.

The rooms need to be updated. It was not what i had expected. It was very dull and old looking and dark colors. Even the carpet was dark. Dark old sofa bed. Not very cheerful and welcoming colors. I would prefer more white colors and bright colors. THe windows barely opened and no screen door. Also the bathtub was old. The Happy Hour was poor. Cheese and crackers and veggies, I was hopeing for something more, like hot appetizers. Also the breakfast crowd was kind of ghetto. People with no shoes on, barefoot at breakfast and wearing bonnets on their head, in Pajamas and night gowns!? OMG

I liked the walking distance to shops, public transportation, and places to eat. The room was quite comfortable, with a living room area to sit back, relax and watch tv. The breakfast featured a nice selection and was well stocked. What I disliked was the 2 drink maximum during the managers happy hour. All the Embassy suites I have stayed at offered a happy hour allotment of time (1.5 - 2 hours). And lastly, the management really needs to provide customer service satisfaction training to it's employees at this establishment. We were met with very unfriendly, lack of warmth, and very short responses from a majority of the employees. A friendly \"good morning\" reply when greeted with a \"good morning\" gesture would have been nice.

Be prepared to be charged 50.00 for parking. Literally used the garage for 20mins and got charge 50.00. If you can find street parking that would be my suggestion. My last time I went staff didn’t charge us for parking. This time they made sure to charge even for 20 mins. That is my only gripe about this place. I will be looking elsewhere for now on.

We had an ok stay. When we first checked in the receptionist almost charged us again for the stay even though we had already paid online a week earlier. The first night we decided to get dinner from the hotel kitchen to go. Definitely not worth the money. Dry chicken in the salad, cheese steak looked like steakems with a drizzle of cheddar cheese and no seasoning. A day later we noticed that between the living room table and wall, there was a piece of clothing and a bottle cap from the previous occupants. When we texted the hotel letting them know what we found, they asked if we'd like to get house service that morning, we agreed but when we returned that evening, the item and bottle cap was still there. Aside from that, our bed was made, bathroom was cleaned, towels replenished and floors were vacuumed everyday.

Property will overcharge you for parking when you did not park a vehicle and overcharged me for a bottle of water. The bathroom ceiling needed repair and the tub/shower handle needed to be replaced. The dresser in the bedroom were also warped. Complaints were made to management while there and afterwards. A credit to correct the parking fee was to occur as well as a correction for the small water bottle I purchased. An additional credit of the parking fees were to occur but was not. Please make sure to check what you are being charged for prior to leaving because reaching someone about the issues is/was a hassle.

All was great except we asked for a blanket for the pull out sofa and even offered to go down for it. We were told it would be delivered to our room and an hour later we covered our granddaughters with our comforter and went to bed. Blanket never came and apology was never issued. Disappointing as everything else was excellent.

This hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance of Costco, Metro, Whole Foods, and a shopping mall — making it super convenient for both errands and dining.

Pros:
✔ Tasty breakfast and a nice Happy Hour (great value!)
✔ Clean, comfortable room with windows that open slightly for fresh air
✔ Prime location for shopping and public transport

Cons:
❌ Expensive parking ($50 per day)
❌ Limited parking spaces—could be tricky during peak times

Verdict: Highly recommend for the location and comfort, but plan ahead if you’re driving!
