The ambiance and staff at the Riad Dar Anika is impressive. Our living space literary spilled into the balcony area where we can use the ornate tables, chairs and sofas for our reading, typing and socialising area. We have also made use of the ground floor riad courtyard....using the swimming pool and enjoying the quiet comfort of the courtyard tables for reading and enjoying some afternoon tea. The staff made our stay at Marrakesh very comfortable. It is certainly a place i will stay again next time in Marrakesh. Many thanks. Jerry

It is steps away from a major square, so very easy to get to. Even though it is close to a major street, it also has very quiet rooms. Amazing staff. I have never been welcomed to a hotel like the way their team, including the manager, greeted us and introduced us to the city.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with restaurant reservations which proved to be outstanding. Lovely oasis of calm in the chaotic streets outside. We loved Marrakesh‘especially exploring the authentic souks where motorbikes are not allowed.

We had a perfect stay at Riad Dar Anika. The location is ideal – within easy walking distance of all the key tourist sites.

What truly made the difference was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful, and they took the time to offer thoughtful suggestions that really enhanced our visit. Nothing ever felt rushed; they clearly cared about making our stay memorable.

Breakfast each morning was excellent, with great food, barista coffee, and freshly squeezed orange juice.

We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and highly recommend it.

I highly recommend this place to everyone. It’s super clean and cozy with amazingly helpful staff. They offer so many extras for free all day long. Fresh fruit juices and beverages are offered multiple times along with light snacks. They also have tea time from 3 to 6 pm where they offer sweets and savory. Upon arrival, the manager Fatima greeted us and spent two hours listening to our concerns and visits. She made a dossier and for six days made sure we were on time for everything from picking us up at the airport and back. Everyday, she and her staff made sure they went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied with the riad. Her suggestions altered our trip for the better. Our first night she coordinated us to another riad restaurant for dinner. She is sincere and highly sensitive to all matters. An asset always ready to help.
+++++The room, open spaces were excellent.
Our room was 12' wide by 18' with single bed, desk, closets, minifridge and safe. Bath was 12' by 8' though the beautiful but shiny tile floor does slip. Some slight noise. Firm bed, soft pillows and comforter.
+++++The breakfasts were gold standard.
Occurs on the roof top with wonderful views of Marrakech's rooftops, and featured eggs, pancakes and rolls, fresh yogurt, fruit cup, coffee and tea.
+++++The location was dead center.
The staff surprised me our last breakfast with freshly made donuts at an adjacent street vendor when I mentioned to them my love of homemade donuts. This happened all the time.
+++++The price points were exact.
A tour was cancelled and within a hour the riad was able to get my wife and me a humann experience

We stayed three nights at the hotel at a total cost of $1,253.00. Our room had no towels when we checked in. When we asked for towels, they were very rough. Although we had booked hammams and massages, we had to ask for robes and slippers for us to go to the hammam. Although we were entitled to 30 Euro credit for spa services, our bill did not reflect it. We had to point out the fact before we received the credit.
They suggested dinner on the night we arrived which we agreed to. It was inedible.
You can not drink the sink water in Morocco. We were given one bottle of water on the first day only. We had to ask for more, and then upon checkout learned that we were charged for the additional water.
This was the most expensive hotel we stayed in in Morocco and the worst.

The common spaces are fabulous. Truly exceptional. The breakfast is excellent. We received a request from a hotel to dine at the hotel's restaurant for $60 a person for what looked like a very average meal that one could find elsewhere for half the price or less. Good thing we ignored it as the restaurant space is depressing and deserted at night. Our room was minuscule which I was aware of but the furnishings in the room looked like they were purchased at a swap meet, totally out of character with the furnishings in the common spaces.

As a single woman traveling to Marrakech on business, I needed a location with good access both to the old city and to roads. 24 hour front desk service really helps with security. One taxi driver, concerned when he saw me I walking in the opposite direction of the Riad dar Anika when he dropped me off, called the reception to let them know. I was only going for a walk in the medina, but it was nice they looked after me. My room had its own private terrace, lit with candles and decorated with beautiful flowers when I arrived at night. The room was clean, the water was hot, the bed was comfortable, the location excellent and the price more than reasonable. I did not have much time for sightseeing, but whenever I had a spare hour, there was plenty to see nearby. While I did not dine in the restaurant and had only the most basic breakfast, I appreciated the freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade yogurt, and local pastries. I booked airport transfer with the riad, and they surprised me with a packed snack for the plane. Many thanks for a lovely visit.

Hot water our bed when returned from our evening meal to a welcoming drink and snacks after. long day walking through the Souks. Even a lunch bag provided on checking out for our journey to Agair. Our stay at Riad Dar Anika was fantastic. The staff were very thoughtful and attentive. The riad is conveniently located for all the sites and is not far from the main road making it convenient for taxi access too.

The building is beautiful and well looked after. The room was small but had everything we needed. The riad is quiet and peaceful and we slept very well.

Breakfast was very good and on the day we left they packed us a lunch for our long car journey.

The staff was amazing - so very helpful and hospitable in every way. The Riad was clean and authentic. The location was excellent, situated at the entrance to the souks and market, also near a drop off point accessible to taxis. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

The RIAD Anika was nice. They were very welcoming. I did have one moment of challenge when we were up in the restaurant. A man questioned me harshly about having a drink. Not sure why this happened but it was scary and in a foreign country and as a Black woman. That was the only sad incident. The staff of the Anika were great and the room was nice.

Incredibly attentive staff, from start to finish. Thoroughly recommend staying here if you want good accessibility to Marrakesh and its sites.

I don’t normally take much note if it, but the shampoo, body wash and conditioners provided were insanely lush, they made you feel like a prince!

We stayed for 4nights at Riad Dar Anika and really loved the warmth and hospitality of the team. Everybody was so friendly and really went out of their way to make sure we had the best time in Marrakech.We had a trip booked to the Atlas Mountains where we met Hassan our guide Your hospitality and personality made the Atlas Mountains experience unforgettable. The walk, and meeting your family and the delicious lunch, and stunning views really made it a special day
we also recommend the Balloon flight which was also amazing

I can’t tell you enough about this Riad. I read a lot of the reviews before I booked it. The staff made you feel right at home. We had never been to Morocco before and didn’t know what to expect. The Riad is perfect to shut you out from the hustle and bustle of the city. The service was amazing. The food was amazing. The rooms were great!! The living room to hang out was relaxing.
