Amazing 4 night stay at Riad Charme Orient. Laurence and everyone were so welcoming and helpful. Our taxi collection was there to meet us even though our flight was a little late and then Said met us at the end of the road to walk through to the riad. A warm welcome and lots of helpful information, things to be aware of, places we could go to visit. Our room was amazing, small but beautiful with a lovely seating area outside. Breakfasts were delicious and lots of it. We didn't use the hammam but it smelt amazing whenever we passed. Can't recommend this place highly enough. The whole team treated us like family.

Thank you to Laurence and her team (Said, Soufiane, Asnah, and Fatima) for a fantastic stay in Marrakech. This riad was beautiful; the interior decor, rooms, and terrace look amazing. The riad is only a 15-minute walk to the main square (Jemaa el-Fnaa), and there are loads of little side alleys and streets on the doorstep to explore. Laurence is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and had plenty of recommendations of places to see, things to do, and restaurants to visit. A couple of roof-top bars were a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast every morning was a great spread of local foods, fruits, honey, and yogurt, and the kitchen was more than happy to organise or toast gluten free breads for my missus. The staff were always checking that we were ok, offering us tea, coffee, or even hot chocolate. We were only in Marrakech for 4 nights, but after our stay at the riad, it felt like we were saying goodbye to family when we left. We would highly recommend this riad, and Laurence and her team, to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay to explore Marrakech.

Our recent stay at Charme d’Orient was fabulous. The riad is beautifully appointed & maintained . The room was large for a riad and had all the amenities you’d need - including a/c-heater for those cooler months. Staff went above and beyond to help, booking taxi’s and providing information about places to see and eat. The location is also great, within the walls of the medina, just a 10-15 minute walk from the main square and very close to the Saadian tombs.

The Riad is beautiful! I was welcomed by snack and tea. The room was very luxurious Moroccan. The breakfast was also tasty with substantial amount, including homemade yoghurt! They were kind to serve the breakfast early on my check out day so I could enjoy before my early tour. Only suggestion was to make the air conditioner cooler. Not a problem since it was already autumn while I was there but maybe warm for summer.

Our room was in great conditions, we loved the breakfast and we also took advantage of the Hammam treatments on our last day (to pay separately). The riad is near the Medina but away from the chaos. We received great assistance and care, from booking our taxi to advice on places to visit, etc. We would highly recommend and we hope to go back one day!

I mentioned to her last minute that I was Gluten Free and she arranged for GF bread and cookies for me for breakfast every day. We loved our stay! The Riad interior is beautiful! Room was very clean and everything was very nicely decorated. The breakfast on the rooftop was excellent, best we had in Morocco and great service, they even served omelettes. The hospitality of the owner and all the staff was very attentive and friendly and really made us feel so relaxed and comfortable! The location is great, right by the souks markets, very easy walk to main square and restaurants. It was very hot when we were there so the refreshing pool was great to cool off. Our flight was delayed and we came late on Saturday evening when traffic was crazy and we couldn’t find parking, but we called and they found us parked on the side of the road and helped us find parking and took our bags to the Riad!

This is by far one of the best places we have stayed. Laurence and her staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help all their guests We were treated like family. The Riad itself is so incredibly beautiful and. artistically decorated in Moroccan style. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Laurence arranged our airport transfer and a wonderful all day tour. The Riad itself is in the Medina and within walking distance to all the attractions and Souks. We had the most incredible stay at Riad Charme d'Orient. Nothing was too much trouble for Laurence, Soufian, Said and team. We felt so safe and looked after the whole trip. Said organised a wonderful day trip for us to Ourika Valley. We also had a wonderful hammam experience at the Riad. We have give a special shout out to Soufian who is the kindest, most hard working and hospitable man we have both ever met. We were so sad to leave. Thank you for a very much needed break!

I have travelled quite a bit and all over the world and I can honestly say this is the very best travelling accommodation experience I have ever had. From the absolute perfect and beautiful taste of the decor in the Riad, to the extra care taken to provide both hospitality and practical guidance, to the friendliness and care from the staff, to the location- a quiet retreat from the fullonness of Marrakesh but a 5min walk to excellent restaurants, the southern end of the souk, and the range of historical sights in the Mellah area. The Hammam and massage was excellent and the morning breakfasts everything you'd want. Thankyou so much to Laurence, Said and team... we will definitely be back Inshallah!

This is a beatiful riad in a perfect part of the city. You enter the door into an oasis of serenity where every detail is thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Everywhere is tastefully designed in traditional style. The rooftop terrace was beautiful and a lovely place to relax in the sun. Laurence and Said were warm & welcoming and we were treated like a member of the family by everyone (but not intrusively!) and offered sweet mint tea each day. We had dinner on the first night and it was fantastic, the best meal we have had in a while, not just in Marrakech! The breakfasts were also amazing and a perfect start to the day. We really can't find a fault and will stay here again when we next come to Marrakech.

Even before I arrived, I was impressed with how welcoming and helpful everyone was. The manager himself met me at the taxi drop-off point and helped me with my luggage. The room and the entire riad was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and I adored the roof top garden where I could relax with mint tea, cookies, and a good book. Just an amazing, wonderful experience.

Our stay at Riad Charme d’orient was nothing but AMAZING! Riad is located centrally, short distance to Medina, and local attraction. We were able to walk to all the following places: Bahia Palace, Spice Market, El Badi Palace, Saadian Tombs, Madrasa Ben Yousse, Koutoubia Mosque, Jemaa-el Fnna, Souk Semmarine and even Majorelle Garden was walkable.

I stayed at this Riad for 3 days, and from the warm welcome to the heartfelt goodbye, the service was impeccable. In 50 years of travel, I’ve never experienced such a friendly, customer-focused atmosphere. The location near the centre of Medina was ideal, and the interior design was beautiful. My room was spotless and cleaned daily, the rooftop was stunning, and the breakfast on it was excellent. I also enjoyed a top-notch massage. This is an abosolutel wonderful little place to stay. It’s close to the centre and all the sights you would want to visit. The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable about what is around you and how best to get there.The hotel is compact and the rooms are amazing full of traditional features. We ate here twice and the food was traditional, flavoursome and plenty of it as is the breakfast, you are certainly set up for a day in the city. There is no rush here, and there is a great roof terrace to sit and relax. Laurence runs this Riad with her heart and is very welcoming which makes it a pleasure to stay and hard to leave.

Our stay at Charme d'Orient was fantastic. The Riad itself was beautiful, the entire staff was extremely helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Marrakech. The location of this riad is perfect. Easy walk to the main square and some great sites. The staff was absolutely amazing. Said was non stop working and just so nice the entire time. I loved the roof top breakfast it was a great start to the day. The riad is a bit noisy as guests voices do echo but otherwise it’s very peaceful. There’s a ton of rules at this riad which I didn’t expect the biggest being no alcohol or food in your rooms. None of the other riads we stayed at had these rules. Our room also smelled like sewage all the time which I think the hotel masked with air fresheners. I saw other complaints about this and it was quite disgusting. Based on the rules and the smell I am not sure we’d stay again

I’m going to repeat pretty much what all other reviews have said; just a great place to stay and so glad we chose Charme D’Orient for our stay in Marrakesh. Laurence, Said and the other staff were just fabulous. Nothing like coming back from shopping at the Souk to be greeted with a smile and a ‘mint tea?’ Breakfast on the roof terrace was lovely, rooms were really well furnished and good kept spotlessly clean. They offer dinner with notice, and it’s really good food. Wine can be bought with dinner but due to strict alcohol regulations in the Medina only beer can be bought at other times. Not that this spoilt our stay in any way! Treatments are offered too. We felt really spoilt and thoroughly ‘on holiday’

An outstanding and exceptional experience! Location: amazing and walking distance to all the main attractions in the Medina. Property: spotless, gorgeous decoration, amazing smell through all the diffusers in the property. The owner (on site): A six stars experience thanks to the kindness and generosity of Laurence, the owner. She can't do enough to provide her guests with the most memorable experience! Whatever is \"needed\" recommendations' wise whereas it is an excursion, a restaurant, some shopping needs or any shape or form of requests within our stay, she provides the best advices, service and always with a smile and so much graciousness. The staff: Said who is on site \"24/7\"provided us (and there again always with a smile and with so much kindness) with the most amazing and luxurious experience. Kicking the day with asking us what we would like to breakfast (such breakfast being nothing short of delicious and only made with the freshest products) to offering us all over our stay and countless times the best morrocan mint tea, Said can't do enough! We hadn't time to experience more of the services offered by the Riad (Hamman experiences, cuisine on site offering lunches) but we will be back for sure to further experience the outstanding hospitality and the second to none service and experience catered by Laurence and her staff.
