We have stayed here several times! However, the pool wasn’t maintained properly and had turned somewhat green! Out of the three days we were there, we could only use it one day! A little disappointing for a visit at this location!

Room was fine but no housekeeping service at all during the 5 nights I was there - emptying the trash or bringing in fresh towels would have been good. Bed was comfortable. Wet bar sink dripped the whole time. Staff was very nice. Breakfast - typical free hotel breakfast. Wish there had been water available for breakfast other than for sale at the desk.

Breakfast left alot to be desired. Eggs were wierd round shaped solid. And taco shaped. Did not tast good. Whatever little sausages with breading on them, no thanks.. The juice and coffee cups werent big enough. Outside trashcans were not emptied. The cigarette butt container fell over at some point. None of it was picked up. Nightshift ladies were awesome. Fridge in 312 wasn't working told staff hope they fix it for the next people who stay. There wasn't any maintenance done on the pool by Sunday you couldn't see the bottom. Ice machine is on the 3rd floor. Laundry is on the second. The problem is there is only one machine each. At $2 for a cycle on each machine.. why aren't there another set? Much less why aren't they included with the stay...
So I know this was long, but you wanted to know. I wouldn't stay at this place again.

The front desk guy when I checked in was absolutely amazing with his professionalism and he was just the sweetest which is super rare these days! His kindness was very much appreciated! The room was clean, the carpets could use a deep cleaning though, there were some questionable spots, but I always bring slides to wear. The pool was nice to enjoy, but could use a good chemical shock for sure as it was super cloudy the second day we were there. All and all it was a nice stay and get away for the weekend. Nicely located to all we were doing. There is road construction which was a little annoying to get in and out but that’s not the hotels fault.

The person who assisted us, a gentleman, was incredibly helpful. He showed me a map of the beaches and explained everything I needed to know about the park near the beaches. Many thanks specially for the front desk agent Scott services , he was so kind , respectuf and professional . I had a suggestion regarding the pet policy since a pet fee is paid and the 1st floor is exclusive for pets you should let know guests that dogs bark its their normal behaviour I felt uncomfortable when the front desk agent not Scott called me telling there was a noise guest complain of my room. All the rest was ok .

Scott at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. Our king room was clean and spacious. The pool looked clean and inviting. The hot breakfast items, eggs and bacon, were not replenished for the short while we were in the dining area. That was disappointing but overall the property was nice.

The hotel far exceeded our expectations!
The property was clean, quiet, and in a really great location.

The hotel was just a short drive to grocery stores, a Hobby Lobby, and several restaurants, and only 15 minutes from the beach!
The front desk associates, Hunter and Mr. Ted, were always helpful and kind, and quickly answered any questions we had.
The breakfast attendants were incredibly sweet and courteous, and always kept the eating area clean and presentable.

Overall, we had a refreshing and enjoyable stay, and would love to stay there again during our next visit to Southport, NC!

Sink in bathroom and bar, slow to drain. No do not disturb signs, so we were woken up early for someone wanting to clean the room. There was a leak from the ceiling right outside our door. It would have been easy to trip over maintenance debris (our room should not have been open for rental)🙁.

Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful. Upon checking in we found the room door standing open which we thought was odd. Then once in the room we found the mattresses to be very dirty, they allowed us to change rooms and these mattresses were better. Overall the stay was OK.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the staff at the front desk were lovely. The gym equipment worked.
Cons: The rugs and drapes were stained in my room which was kind of gross and the fact that the window didn't open was a problem because the room smelled badly and there was no way to air it out. It is basically sitting on top of the highway and there is nowhere to walk outside the building without getting in your car - it is right on an industrial/commercial intersection so it's not peaceful. The breakfast was pretty gross.
Summary: I cancelled the last night b/c I didn't want to stay there, and I had great weather, so I left at 9 am and didn't come back until 10 PM the day I was there, which made it \"fine.\" The bed was super comfortable so if you are coming to shower and sleep, it's a good deal. If you come and it's raining or you need to hang around the hotel at all, that might stink.

Easy check in. Be sure to stay on an upper floor or you’ll hear people above you walking (quite loudly) The back door was open the whole time so I wouldn’t recommend someone staying alone.

Scott at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. My so. Had an unfortunate injury, and I requested an earlier check-in to help him get ready for a wedding. Scott was super helpful and got us checked in. We didn’t plan on having to drive our 21 year old son 3 hours away, and spending the night, but we did and the Comfort Suites team went above and beyond to exceed our needs. Thank you

Room 209 has a significant issue with the flooring in front and between the beds. Loose flooring at the end of the beds move the beds during the night similar to an earth quake tremor. Especially disturbing when you are awaken frequently by these jolts throughout the night when someone uses the restroom. Something needs to be done about this. Who knows what’s causing this underneath the bed and the carpet.

They had already pretty much cleaned and cleared away breakfast except for the staff were eating and it was still a few minutes before ending of breakfast.
We called after making reservations. We told them 2 adults and an infant. We got there and were told elevator was broken. We had to make several trips up and down stairs with all the stuff traveling with a baby requires.
I feel we should have been told when we called about reservations.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay with our dog. The room was clean and extra spacious (500sq ft!!) The bathroom is clean, well maintained and well stocked. The breakfast tastes great with many choices. I like the way they prepared the eggs and the self-made waffles was delicious.The layout of the building is well thought-out with elevators located in the perfect location for customers with lugguges. I particularly find the \"weather station\" a fun and special-touch to the place which brings smiles to all the visitors.

The room was so spacious with an extra sink by the fridge for dishes. Our daughter had a spot on a couch and small table to do schoolwork (plus a desk). We were not bothered by hall noise. Comfortable beds. Very clean. 7 minutes to the beach. Good breakfast with waffles, sausage, eggs, etc. Cheerful cook who suggested we take the ferry to the Carolina Beach area south of Wilmington. Perfect idea.

Our dog can stay cheaper than most places in the area. Nice polite and friendly staff. A clean room and comfortable bed . Breakfast had different options such as yogurt, scrambled eggs, hardboiled eggs . We bring our own cereal because we are gluten free. Clean and well maintained breakfast. Areas around hotel to walk dog. This time visiting only a night here, but have been here in season and still like the hotel.
