Easy to fine and the parking is right across the street. Room was very clean. The shower had great pressure and got really hot. The staff was very helpful, even let me check in an hour early. Easy access to the beach. Pool was great, couple of ants but that’s pair for the course. There is a “Starbucks” in the building. They can only make a couple of basic drinks with Starbucks coffee. However, there is a Starbucks on the first floor of the parking deck. I would definitely stay here again.

Paid for a Deluxe Double, with Roll-in Shower which it has. Both mattresses are so low to the floor that we cannot stand up from lying down on them. Will mention this to Front desk tomorrow. We came a day earlier than expected so we did not wish to complain. This is ridiculous, though. Also, the bedding is really old and worn, and thin also. No thick comforters at this Courtyard by Marriott nor even complimentary coffee!

Didn't get to stay. I put wrong date and was charged for it. I asked if they would change date and they said no. How hard was it to change my date? I don't plan on ever staying there after this so called hospitality! A simple mistake that could have been corrected with the change of date.

Room was clean and staff was helpful. Not so good was one day one of the 5 pools heater was not working well and was 78 not 87. And the hot tubs indoors were in need of cleaning. Beach view was great and fold out couch was nice. Also they do not provide any beach chairs or towels even though you see them in the picture the chairs are from the city and the lifeguard charges $65 a day for two chairs and an umbrella. Also no vallet parking which is a pain.

Great location with an easy walk to all of the fun things to do in the area. The room was spacious and the view from the room was excellent. Full ocean view with nice balcony. The beach was well groomed and there were plenty of places to relax and enjoy both the beach and the pool. The wristbands give you access to several pools and hot tubs along the strand. We rented a beach cabana which was great and enjoyed the easy access to the restaurants and bars on site. The only issues we had during our stay were the noise from the construction on the pier (which was SHOCKINGLY LOUD when the slider was open) and one of the hot tubs in the adjacent hotel was really dirty at the end of the day. We would definitely stay here again…but hopefully after the pier construction is completed!

My first room was disgusting. There was a bug infestation. I checked in late and by the time I got to my room and got the lights on the walls and ceiling had bugs all over it so I had to go repack all my stuff and try to get moved into a different room. The girls at the front desk were great.

Really liked our room facing towards the ocean. was very clean really liked the bathroom and mirrors. staff was friendly. The hotel smelt good as well didn't have the water mildew smell like some of the other hotels by the ocean. Only downside was there was no free breakfast in the morning. Very nice modern hotel with a lot of great amenities! Front desk staff was great! Housekeeping ok. The room was nice and the oceanfront view is amazing. Great and roomy shower. Firepits and patio area overlooking the pool was nice. The bed was HORRIBLE! One of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on. I woke up each day with my back hurting and I dont have back issues at all! The towels were stiff and the bedding was a bit dingy as well as the towels. Overall great hotel.

We chose this hotel because of the Marriot Name. It did not measure up to other Courtyard Marriott’s that we have stayed with. The staff was very friendly and the lobby was beautiful upon entering.
When we got to our room the key cover was off and laying on the floor.
We had to call for new linens as the ones we had were soiled. The very nice lady brought us 3 sets directly off the table she said before she got a good spotless set.
There was no body wash in the shower dispensers. The towels were very worn , hard and dingy looking. I used Clorox wipes to wipe down spots on floor around our shower .
Definitely not a comfortable stay.

I was excited to stay here as I remember when they were building this property a few years ago-- but I was very disappointed. The initial hotel when you walk in and the property is nice but I was so disappointed at the cleanliness of our room. I found bugs in the shower, and in the sheets!!! Unacceptable. Thankfully they were not bed bugs but I was grossed out, and my husband saw dirt or some type of stain on the sheets that was very displeasing. Overall I had high hopes that was surely disappointing.

We arrived at the hotel early and waited because check in isn’t until 4pm, however, when we went to check -in around 4:20pm, we were told that they weren’t ready to give us a room. When providing a US passport as a form of ID the clerk told me that form of ID isn’t considered a valid form of US identification because it doesn’t provide an address. I’ve never had that issue before. The facility itself was very convenient.

Disaster at the Coutyard Marriot at Myrtle


To Whom It May Concern,
I recently completed a 3-night (Room 906 from July 19, 2025 thru July 22, 2025) stay at your property, and I feel it’s important to share the discomfort and disappointment I experienced during my visit.
First and foremost, the mattress in our room was extremely soft to the point of being uncomfortable. When I inquired about the possibility of a pillow-top or alternative for added support, I was told none were available. As a result, restful sleep was nearly impossible throughout our stay.
Additionally, housekeeping service was lacking. Our room was only cleaned once during the entire visit, and that visit consisted solely of delivering extra towels—no other cleaning was performed.
To make matters worse, the front desk experience at check-in was anything but welcoming. The staff member seemed rushed, irritated, and frankly rude. As a guest, it was upsetting to be met with that kind of energy after a long day of travel.
I did share these concerns at checkout with the woman at the desk, who assured me that a manager would be in touch. Unfortunately, we never received a follow-up call, which only further reflects the lack of attention to guest care.
I sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously. No guest should have to endure this level of discomfort and neglect. A little courtesy, communication, and attention to comfort can go a long way in making a stay memorable for the right reasons.

I know you will not take this review seriously, but we were extremely disappointed. We were promised check in and our room was not ready until 5:30pm due to NO ONE CLEANED IT YET ? Then when they said it was done in the evening, we went to room, and it was still dirty, linens on bed a mess, no soap, no shampoo, no toilet paper, and floor was wet ? We asked to speak with management and no one but the new girl at the desk to help us. Then no one explained the hotel to us, breakfast was ? and we could not get into the breakfast part due tot he door was broken?
