We stayed 1 night. It is not 5 star hotel. No cups were in room. The elevater is separated in each building that makes inconvenient to move. Every single facillity should be paid. It should not be paid over 130 USD.

Nice clean location. Service good be better but ok. This place gets busy so plan early. Enjoy all the seafood restaurant just a step away.

When checking in the representative offered to upgrade my room. I took the offer but when I went into the actual room, it was a lower standard than the one I actually reserved. I heard the wind blowing all night. Then upon checkout, the representative attempted to charge me for breakfast that I didn’t even eat.

We were not able to check in even though we arrived at the hotel at 6 PM, we had to wait about an hour.
It was rather frustrating since our room was a family suit, one of the largest one in the hotel. Cleaning service was neither good. I had to request a re cleaning.

Before making the reservation, I was surprised at the ~8.0 rating on Expedia, given that this was a Banyan Tree property. After our stay, I am very surprised at why the rating reviews were so high. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. This is definitely a nice, clean properly since it was recently built but almost everything about it was just awful. If the price was 2 or 3 star hotel, perhaps worth it. Why?
* I did not expect luggage service when checking-in but at the same time, I was hoping to easily find the lobby. No signs and one bad turn in the parking lot made me exit the properly and make a U-turn 1-2 km up a hill to get back to the properly. Second time around, still had a hard time finding the lobby.
* There were some bad comments about the staff here. I do not think they are bad people but the staff has no experience operating a 5-star hotel. We checked-in late but then, were told breakfast (which was included) would only be served at 6:30am.
* The elevators are a nightmare and almost comical.
* Getting a call from the front desk at around 11:50pm is a bit rude, especially given that they were calling about a sofa that we never asked about.
* Aside from the bottled waters in your room and the toilet, everything will cost you extra and most are not worth it. Spending ~$100 for a few swimming laps is just ridiculous.
* I still could not figure it out why they have bathtubs in the room (and not in the bathroom).

Cassia Hotel perfect with just a 2% improvement
Cassia Hotel provided the highest level of satisfaction in every aspect, including its location and service. However, the long wait time during check-in was an issue, and when I booked through Hotels.com with a breakfast-included package, the handling of leftover breakfast coupons was inadequate. I hope these issues can be addressed in the future.

I was told to come late due to delays, so I arrived at 4:30 PM—only to wait until 6:30 PM to check in. We lost an entire day of our family vacation and couldn’t use any amenities. Staff showed no remorse and instead lectured us with comments like, “I’ve worked at other hotels too.” Well, so have I—stayed at many, and this was by far the most disappointing. This was at Cassia Sokcho.

When I checked in, the toilet was already clogged, and I had to call service to fix it. Then it clogged three more times. They told me it was because I used too much toilet paper. So… am I supposed to believe a ghost used excessive toilet paper before I even arrived?

If you want to visit this place be prepared to stay hungry for hours on end because hotel does not provide breakfast for people. We were searching for place to eat but the way it works here is that if you did not reserve breakfast you cannot eat at all and all the other places are closed inside and outside hotel until the breakfast time is over which is at 0900 or 1000 in the morning. Room service also does not start before breakfast time is over which is very convenient wink wink. I have been around the globe and visited many places, but never have I ever waited for hours to eat.

This property has the potential to be a very nice option for the area. We had mixed feelings in various areas:
1) Reception and Check-in: Great check-in, staff provided good information and was quick and efficient.
2) Additional charges: We booked a suite with pool and sauna options for our Family of 4 (reservation only covers 2)- The package should be modified to cover everyone on the reservation.
3) Air conditioning in the room was disabled and only enabled after calls of tempearture too hot within the room. This was resolved at 11 PM on our first day of the stay. This policy should be revised to give guest control of the room temperature without having to go thru the discomfort first.
4) Restaurants have various policies that are not customer service friendly IE: Horizon facility is near the pool entrance but guest are not able to sit at the restaurants if you have on swim gear (fully covered rash guards). Fogo has limited children's options on the menu, making it not as Family friendly.

First of all if you are not staying in tower A, all the amenities are too far away. This is not a resort nor a hotel. We stayed two nights and they said the cleaning is not done on the second day without any notification. No room service and only one restaurant in the hotel close at 10pm. The swimming pool is charged extra ₩80.000 per person. The Kids Club is also charged almost ₩30,000 for 1 child and 2 adults but it is almost empty and nothing to do there. If you want to take the kid to the reading or drawing room that is all for extra charge which was ridiculous. I would highly recommend to think twice before staying at this hotel.

Worst $1200per night stay
Horrible . Worst hotel I’ve been to in my lifetime. Clean only because it’s new. I was staying in a $1200 per night room with friends and family . The hotel is worthy of maybe $80 per night
1) bad service. Doesn’t pick up the phone at the front desk
2) charges for the swimming pool.
3) most of the people are not trained well at all at the front desk. They need retraining.
4) no amenities. Asked for lotion . They do not have.

Cassia sokcho with a lot of regrets
It was peak season, but the check-in waiting was very long and the response at the hotel was absurd.
The breakfast was also too long, and it was a pity that the cleaning condition of the room was also five-star. I was surprised to see the leftover coffee on the glass.

Disappointed..
It was my 2nd stay in this hotel, the 1st stay, one of the staff said, will give me an upgrade, but gave me a so lousy view which only can see a small port and road. Importantly the main view was Lotte resort.
I was wondering a lot of rooms are available, however why he has to put me in such room which doesn’t even have a bathtub in the line room.
This 2nd stay, I booked a King bed room, the bathtub is in the living room with ocean view. However the other tower rooms are so close, when I get into bathtub I have to close curtains, ocean view is useless. It was so very uncomfortable.
In the bathroom, water isn’t going down when I showered…
On the floor, on the table, on the chairs and wherever have painting drops.
The smalls of new renovation works were so bad.. had to open the balcony door all along.
I had high expectations of the hotel as it was developed from banyan tree, maybe I should not..

Very goooooooooooood ^^
