While the service was friendly, I felt the hotel itself was not as advertised. The hotel itself seemed a little outdated. The bed was dreadfully hard and the pool was drained and closed. Overall it was pretty underwhelming.

특히 새해 아침 11층 카페에서 커피도 무료로 나눠 주는 서비스가 좋았고, 담당하시는 분도 밝고 친절하셔서 고마웠습니다.
한가지 제안할점은,
- 대포항까지 거리가 짧지만, 추운 날씨에 걸어가기에는 20여분 걸리기에,
- 택시를 불렀을때, 택시 기사님들에게는 가까운 거리다 보니, 도움이 안될듯 해서 그런지, 콜이 잡히지 않았어요
- 이럴경우에는, 호텔에서 간간히 작은 셔틀을 운영해도 상당한 호응이 있을듯 해요

오래된 관광 호텔인데 연식이 꽤 되었는데도 나름 깨끗하게 관리되고 있는 것 같아요. 약간 그 오래됨에서 오는 쾌쾌한 냄새가 호텔 곳곳에 있긴해요. 아마 룸 바닥의 카페트 등이 그 냄새의 주범이지 않을까 싶고요. 가장 좋은건 바다가 너무 예쁘게 펼쳐진 오션뷰라는 것. 방에서 바깥 바라보며 바다멍하기 너무 좋았어요.

마레몬스 호텔은 입지가 좋아 연말 연초에 자주 이용하곤 합니다. 바다 뷰가 탁월해 해돋이를 보러 밖으러 나갈 필요가 없습니다. 그런데 호텔의 편의시설이 충분치 않아 개선할 필요가 있다고 생각합니다. 편의점이나 기념품샵 등이 없고 식당도 조식만 가능해서 호텔 밖으로 나가야 하는데 한겨울이나 한여름에는 매우불편합니다.
