Underwhelming

While the service was friendly, I felt the hotel itself was not as advertised. The hotel itself seemed a little outdated. The bed was dreadfully hard and the pool was drained and closed. Overall it was pretty underwhelming.

온돌방으로 가족이 묵었는데, 화장실은 만족! 난방도 만족! 다만 이불이 twin으로 두개래서 넉넉할 줄 알았는데, 세명이서 쓰기엔 좀 작았어요. 오션뷰인데 3층이라 좀 아쉬웠지만, 가격 위치 맘에 듭니다.

서비스 친절하고 산 전망 설악산 뷰가 좋았어요.
다만 객실 천장등이 2개밖에 없고 간접등이 하나도 없어서 전반적으로 침침하고 원룸같은 느낌이었어요.
벽지도 일부분 들떠서 떨어져있구요. 저렴한 가격에 예약한 객실이라 감안하고 지냈지만 이런 객실인걸 알았다면 돈을 더 내고 다른 객실을 예약했을거에요.
콘센트고 일부는 전력이 왔다갔다 했습니다.

1. 바다 전망이어서 아주 좋았어요. 일출도 볼 수 있었어요.
2. 객실이 조용하고 사용하기 편리했어요. 다만 오래된 가구에서 약간의 냄새가 났어요. 객실 금고는 제대로 작동이 안되었어요. 직원이 금고 내부 배터리가 방전되어 당장은 사용할 수 없다고 말했어요.
3. 사우나 시설의 일부만 가동하여 부족함이 있었어요.
4. 직원들의 응대는 친절했어요.

새해 해돋이가 잘 보이고, 뒤로는 설악산이 있어 주위 경치가 참 좋았습니다
특히 새해 아침 11층 카페에서 커피도 무료로 나눠 주는 서비스가 좋았고, 담당하시는 분도 밝고 친절하셔서 고마웠습니다.

한가지 제안할점은,
- 대포항까지 거리가 짧지만, 추운 날씨에 걸어가기에는 20여분 걸리기에,
- 택시를 불렀을때, 택시 기사님들에게는 가까운 거리다 보니, 도움이 안될듯 해서 그런지, 콜이 잡히지 않았어요
- 이럴경우에는, 호텔에서 간간히 작은 셔틀을 운영해도 상당한 호응이 있을듯 해요
참고하시면, 더 좋은 서비스가 될듯하고, 만족도도 아주 높을듯 해요

이 숙소는 생각보다 좋은 느낌을 주네요 가족여행이고 애기가 있어 온돌방 사용을 했는데 크게 불편함이 없었습니다 또한 발코니 부분이 있어 수영복 말리기에 너무 좋았습니다. 일출을 방에서 볼수있다는건 큰 장점이라고 생각되네요~~ 전반적으로 만족스러웠습니다^^

낙후된 시설 그대로, 성수기때 갈데없고 다른곳이 너무 비싸 마레논스에 간다는 느낌.

시설 옛날 그대로 사용중인 올드한 느낌.
요새 구경하기 힘든 중앙집중식 냉난방
고객을 유치하려면 리모델링이 필요한데
언제 깨졌는지 모를 수영장 타일들.
청소.정리 안된 진입로쪽.화단들.
한여름 성수기에 수영장 물은 없고,
폐허를 연상하게함 .조식부페 내려가는 지하계단은
컴컴한게 전기를 아끼느라 꺼놓았는지 밥먹기도 싫음

바다멍때리기 좋은 숙소

오래된 관광 호텔인데 연식이 꽤 되었는데도 나름 깨끗하게 관리되고 있는 것 같아요. 약간 그 오래됨에서 오는 쾌쾌한 냄새가 호텔 곳곳에 있긴해요. 아마 룸 바닥의 카페트 등이 그 냄새의 주범이지 않을까 싶고요. 가장 좋은건 바다가 너무 예쁘게 펼쳐진 오션뷰라는 것. 방에서 바깥 바라보며 바다멍하기 너무 좋았어요.
매트리스가 딱딱하고 흔들거리는 감이 있는데 다른 침구가 무겁지 않고 깨끗해서 괜찮아요. 저렴하게 하루 묵을 숙소 구하시는 분들께 추천해요.
저는 이 외 부대시설은 이용하지 않았습니다. 그런데 호텔에 손님이 많지 않아 조용히 이용하기는 좋을 것 같아요!

마레몬스 호텔 가족 여행

마레몬스 호텔은 입지가 좋아 연말 연초에 자주 이용하곤 합니다. 바다 뷰가 탁월해 해돋이를 보러 밖으러 나갈 필요가 없습니다. 그런데 호텔의 편의시설이 충분치 않아 개선할 필요가 있다고 생각합니다. 편의점이나 기념품샵 등이 없고 식당도 조식만 가능해서 호텔 밖으로 나가야 하는데 한겨울이나 한여름에는 매우불편합니다.

이번에는 가족과, 두번째 방문이었어요.
언덕에 위치해서 전망이 좋습니다.
룸에서 보는 일출이 아주 멋졌어요.
침대가 너무 소프트 해서 잠을 좀 설쳤는데
개인 취향이니 참고만 하세요.

호텔자체는 오래되었지만 룸컨디션은 나름 깔끔하게 관리되어있었습니다. 단지 룸에 스탠드를 제외한 메인등이 없어서 저녁 일찍 들어왔을때 다소 어두운 상태로 있어야하는 단점이 있었지만, 두번째 방문이었는데 뷰도 좋고 요청사항도 잘 들어주셨고 덕분에 부모님과 여행 편하게 했습니다.

기분좋게 지내다간 호텔 그러나 조식은ㅠ

전체적으로 깨끗하고 잘 관리된 느낌입니다. 노후된 호텔이지만 직원들도 친절하고 6살 아들도 무척 좋아했어요.
다만 조식뷔페는 개선되어야할 부분인거같아요. 먹을게 너무 없었습니다. 10여년전에 왔을때 참 맛있게 먹었던 기억이 있어서 이번에도 기대했는데 모두가 너무 실망했습니다.
이부분만 좀 개선하면 좋을꺼같아요.

위치라든가 주변환경은 괜찮은 편인데 속초에서 가장 오래된 호텔이라 기본설비가. 부실해요. 비대도 없고 침대도 아주 오래된 구형이고 베개가 너무 불편 했어요. 가격은 4성급이고 시설은 2성급 모텔보다 부실했어요!

나쁜 말을 남기는게 마음이 불편해서 웬만하면 좋은 후기만 남기는데, 다른 분들을 위해서 솔직한 후기 남깁니다.

애초에 “호텔”이라고 생각하고 가면 안되는 곳인 것 같습니다.

우선 프론트 응대부터 처음 당해보는 불친절과 친철의 아슬아슬한 경계선이었습니다.
몇몇 후기에서 본 것처럼 직원들이 그리 친절한 것도 아니었고, 심지어 기분 좋게 여행왔는데 무뚝뚝함으로 무안하고 불쾌하게 만드는 직원도 있었습니다.

룸배정 받고 올라가서 복도에서부터 퍼지는 오래된 불쾌한 냄새에 당혹스러웠고, 심하게 낡은 가구와 거미줄을 보고 후회가 몰려왔습니다.
전체적으로 청결을 신뢰하기 어려운 상태였습니다.

동해 바다, 일출 뷰는 좋았지만, 다만 그것도 날씨가 아주 화창한 날에 한정되었고, 숙소를 정할때 뷰는 크게 고려할만한 사항이 아니라는걸 깨닫는 경험이었습니다.

주변에 편의 시설도 별로 없어서, 속초 여행을 하기에는 청초호 주변의 호텔이 더 나아보였습니다.

최고의 서비스를 제공하려는 노력은 그다지 보이지 않아서 많이 아쉬웠습니다.

화장실 세면대 물도 잘 빠지지 않아서 오랜됨을 느끼게 해주는.. 6층에 묵었는데, 이 호텔은 오션뷰가 아닌 방을 찾을 수 없을 것만 같은.. 다만, 연식이 느껴지지 않게 침실 침대보등과 조식뷔페의 메뉴가 더 다양하게 바뀌었으면 합니다.
