The man man had difficulty checking us in. He said my card had insufficient funds.I told him my credit card has a high limit, and suddenly he completed the transaction. The smoke alarm in the room was beeping and he was confused about how to fix it. The heater did not work. He was equally confused. It was 30 degrees outside and the room opened to the outdoors. We left and did not stay.

Property was rustic. Room was small for the price, esp. bathroom. Very noisy-vehicular traffic and other guests. Could hear about everything that went on in neighboring rooms. Staff was very nice. Front desk was not manned-had to call if you needed or wanted anything. Heat in room worked and so did AC.

The place is overall nice. My complaint is that the King rooms are very small. With our luggage, we didn't have a lot of room at all. bathroom was tiny too. Our other family had 2 queen room and is was great. Has a cute restaurant attached. It actually was a nice place, but get the queen room instead of king.

The rooms are dated. They still use actual keys for the doors instead of key cards. No breakfast is included. No one was at the front desk when we arrived. And the front office wasn’t open when we left. They had a drop box for the room key.

Comfortable but don’t eat here

This lodge is a bit dated but the room was comfortable and the bathroom has been refreshed . Dining leaves a lot to be desired and if it hadn’t been so late when we checked in we would have gone elsewhere to eat. We wouldn’t recommend this as a place to eat at any time.

It would be nice if the breakfast was included since we are paying a good amount of money to stay there, it would be nice not to have to pay an extra $14 for a breakfast that is like any continental Breakfast that is free at other places, and to actually have coffee in the rooms considering some people get up super early to start there day and they cant make a cup of coffee till the office opens at 7 am which is super inconvenient, other then these couple of things it was an very enjoyable stay

The room was clean. It did have a very strong odor of pine sol though. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms have been updated. I did feel that the floors slanted. The flooring was also made squeaking snd popping sounds particularly in the bedroom and sitting room transition.

Very clean and super cute rustic feeling rooms. Not too long of a drive to Yellowstone, worth it for the price savings of this room compared to West Yellowstone hotels. We would stay again. Only downfall was the walls are very thin, and our neighbors were loud - but luckily they didn’t stay up too late or this may have been a problem. (We could hear footsteps above us as well)

Overall clean and cute room. We experienced a few issues - I waited for 10-15 min for someone to arrive at the counter to check me in. The window air conditioner was located in the “living room” area and was noisy and powerful making the room very cold and uncomfortable while it was on. The bedroom area did not cool easily and was warm and humid since the window unit was in the living area. The bathroom was clean for the most part, but had a slight urine smell.

Nice place with restaurant on site. Beautiful area to match the hotel. Practical compared to prices at West Yellowstone. Only bad thing is being on first floor. Second floor was too noisy. Good enough to stay again but pn 2nd floor. Gorgeous surrounding!

This place was super cute and had plenty of room. Breakfast was worth the extra charge. The staff was friendly. The walls and floors were very thin. I was on the end and could hear every footstep upstairs. The WiFi didn’t work that altar down which meant I couldn’t use the streaming tv.

Had a great stay, albeit one night out of many we booked due to a storm. We really lamented that, as it was far and away the nicest place we stayed the entire trip. It was quiet and comfortable, with beautiful views - we even saw a deer walk through the driveway! You really don't get any noise crossover from unit to unit either, which was a nice surprise. If you want, the river is just a short trek through the weeds. The fireplace was turned off, and we couldn't immediately figure it out, so we didn't get to enjoy that, and I honestly wasn't the biggest fan of the showerhead, if I was pressed to leave any critique of the place. However, there was plenty of hot water, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with seasonings and utensils so you can cook up that fish you caught. There's a really nice spacious feel inside, with no TV to distract you. They even provided boot warmers, which was amazing after a wet motorcycle ride in the cold! We already talked about how we would want to come back, and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the mountains!

I had a nice, quaint room. The lack of service is a missed opportunity for this property. No one at front desk when I arrived in the early evening. There was a sign with a phone number to call, but there was no answer. Other patrons arrived and we stood around wondering how to check in. A woman entered the lobby minutes later and checked me in.
The room was very nice and clean. Wifi didn't work. No cable TV, only ROKU, with the ROKU channels but I couldn't even watch those because the TV didn't have an internet connection. Went to the front desk but it was vacant again. I gave up on TV for the night and went for dinner to the only restaurant in walking distance. I got some internet during the night but it was weak and kept disconnecting.
I was staying 2 nights. In the morning I looked for staff and got someone after 3 visits to the front desk. A friendly gentleman showed up. He sent someone to fix the TV while I went to Yellowstone for the day. They fixed it but the menu was in Spanish so I had to guess what to watch. I laughed it off. I continued to have weak to no wifi for the rest of my stay. I spoke to other patrons who experienced the same.
Also, my room on the bottom floor was very noisy. It was mostly quiet at night but in the morning at check out time I could hear every step and stomp from the families above me. Every sound was clear and it seemed to be coming from the outside walkway -- every step on it drilled right down through to my room. Go for the top floor!

Upon check in, Briana was awesome. Because I had an upstairs unit, she helped me bring my things to my unit. The unit was very clean and the bed was comfortable. My biggest problem was the bathroom was very small, cramped and uncomfortable.

Nice tent but bad weather.
My experience at this campground was unforgettable — not entirely in a good way.
Google Maps led me to a narrow, overgrown path on the north side of the campground in the middle of the night. The road was rough and suddenly interrupted by a small creek. Thankfully, I managed to stop in time.

In total darkness and during a thunderstorm, I had to carefully make a U-turn on the spot — which was extremely difficult. I eventually found a safer route from the south side using my friend’s Google Maps, and finally made it to the campground.

Unfortunately, while turning around on that hidden path, some rocks and bushes scratched my car. It was a stressful and scary situation — honestly, it felt like the devil himself had led me into that place. The dark and stormy night made it even worse.

That said, once I arrived, the tent was great, the staff were kind, and the showers and toilets were clean and well-maintained. Just please be careful with navigation — and avoid that north-side road at night!

The only issues I had was that the beds were too high. It was a comfortable bed but, I'm only 5'4 and I had to climb into the bed.

The rooms are very pristine! You can tell, if like me you have experience in maintenance, carpentry, and such. That they were intent on making the rooms and restrooms up-to-date so to speak!

Very comfortable and squeaky clean beds! Highly recommend this stop compared to others along the I20 N!
