Property and time spent there was amazing. Very welcoming and comfortable for sure. Enjoyed the feeling of being at home while away, and the hospitality of all the staff we encountered was professional and helpful. Definitely a stay here planned for next years tournament. However, the food establishment right outside the lodge advertising dinner and breakfast buffet ( can’t remember the name just the big advertisement banner) is by far the worst establishment and environment. Really sad that your amazing facilities have to be associated with this place as the staffing is exuberantly unprofessional, and extremely rude. Everything we attempted to order was a life ruining event for the hosted/waitress to the point my family and I paid $15 for untouched drinks and walked out of the establishment.

The kitchen has no sharper knife to cut any food and the plastic cutting board is too old.
The parking lot is far from my unit and it has not enough parking space. I did not have umbrellas for the rain and snow when we were walking to our car, it's frozen outside ! so it's inconvenient for us .

The location was good for traveling to Yellowstone. The room was nothing like it he pictures, very outdated and everything- the carpet, bathroom, kitchen and beds all needed to be replaced decades ago.

The sofa bed was the worst and could hardly classify as a bed. It was also full of dirty socks and trash when we pulled it out.

The pool closes at 8:45 pm, so we weren’t able to use it by the time we got home from the park.

They do charge a resort fee; although, there weren’t any amenities for us during our stay. There’s no standard housekeeping and be expected to take out your own trash and shovel walkways from snow.

I loved the amenities of the pool, sauna, hot tub, game room. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. I loved having a grocery store nearby. We saw an elk on the property. I did not like the added resort fee when we checked in. Include it upfront in the pricing. This place was a great deal for the location and amenities. I would have gladly paid the additional $38 upfront in the pricing and not have to worry about the charge after.

As a solo traveller (Aug 24 til Sept 6) - I'm happy to approve this place. After my flight came in late after hours of the condominium closing. I was so able to access the Dropbox by calling the telephone number provided and someone picked up on the first call.

Was also happy to know that a grocery store was available. Literally walking distance equivalent to maybe two blocks but a 2-minute drive. And their laundry service is available 24 hours. But make sure you have change because there's no change machine. But if you go to the office during office hours, they're able to provide you with quarters if you need them exchanged.

The condo had everything that I needed and as other reviewers mentioned, if you're going to be there for a while, might be mindful to bring Ziploc bags to store your food in. I will highly recommend this place even though cuz I flew and JAC airport.

The lady at the front said it would cool down at night but it took so long to cool down and we had to ask for another fan. I'm glad we were gone most of the day because it would have been intolerable if we were home all day long and we were there for a week. The only other thing was the bed is hard as a board

The room we got was so outdated, not like pictures at all. Kitchen had coil stove instead of induction stove. Bathroom was small, toilet seat was super small and shower head was a joke. Bed and sofa bed were old and uncomfortable. We feel cheated since we booked this room based on pictures on Expedia listing but room was nothing like it. Terrible experience.

The activities building is a great place for a family to spend sometime! It says it is open until 9, that depends on who is at the front desk. One lady warned us at 8:30 that we had to leave by 8:45. So, don’t plan on going for a last minute chill.

The condo was a little dated but super clean. We would definitely pick this place again. Its about 25 mins from the entrance of West Yellowstone NP.

Quaint and rustic condos/cottages in Island Park, just a 25 min drive to West Yellowstone and the west entrance of the national park. The cabin had a good kitchen, bathroom, living area, and modern TV’s. The beds were the only thing really wrong with the place, they were small and very uncomfortable. The mattresses were obviously in need of replacing. The clubhouse was clean and nice, with friendly staff. The pool and hot tub are very nice, except the limited hours and you had to be over 14 to use the hot tub. So not great for young teens or if you’re out late. Overall if the mattresses were good, I would recommend. But that would prevent me from booking again.

The only downside was the beds were uncomfortable especially the sofa bed. After the first night the kids slept on the floor and slept better. Other than that it as a great place to stay.

Lot of mosquitoes around the property so be prepared. Also the day we checked out, there was no water. It was a big break down, entire resort affected. It was nightmare. We had to make several trips to the grocery store nearby to get water…many guests used grocery store toilet.

No AC for 7 days in a 90 degree heat is brutal. Pull out sofa bed was in bad shape and need to replace asap, my teens had a rough time sleeping. Bathroom fan is screaming for help.
Kitchen and dinner table are perfect for our family of 4.
Could be way better if we can sleep (AC sofa bed)

My husband, young adult son, and I rented 2 condos. If Island Park was a future destination for us (we always try different destinations,) I would absolutely rent with them again.

We stayed 4 nights and went to Yellowstone twice and Gardiner once. The drive to the park is reasonable and it keeps you out of the madness of the West Yellowstone commercial area that is before the park entrance.

The team in the front office is hospitable and kind. The appliances are all in good shape. Showers have great pressure and hot water. There is plenty of space and peace.

Island Springs has the best tap water I’ve had since the 80’s when I lived in a an artesian spring-fed neighborhood.

Both condos need carpet removal— there is some odor in them. However, it’s summer, so we enjoyed leaving the windows open the whole time we were there. It’s not luxe, but it’s clean, safe, and comfortable.

The check-in, service, and other conditions were fine. However, the room had a very bad smell, possibly because the previous occupant had pets. Additionally, without AC, the room remained hot even when it was a bit chilly outside. As a result, we had to open all the windows and the sliding door all the time to improve the air. This issue ruined our stay.

Wonderful! We loved this spacious apartment.

We loved staying at Timbers. It was a very nice apartment. It is a quiet area and only 25 minutes to drive to Yellowstone Park. We wish they had air conditioning in their apartments. They said Island Park is always cool and air conditioning isn’t needed so just open your windows. We opened the windows but lots of pollen came into the apartment and it really bothered my husband’s allergies. We stayed for 3 days and my husband had to take medicine for his allergies. Overall we loved our stay in their apartment. It had a full kitchen and a fireplace if you needed some heat. It was very nice. We loved staying there and would recommend this place for anyone who is planning a Yellowstone Park trip.

Property is a little dated, but there have been nice upgrades like new carpet and flooring. The master bathroom in the 2 bedroom is a little cramped, but was clean and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were very spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed, including a stove, microwave, dishwasher, vacuum, broom, etc. and appears to have been recently updated. Also had paper towels, trash bags, etc. We really enjoyed our stay. No need to rely on restaurants. If you can bring your own hairdryer, bring it as the one supplied is a little weak. Our condo was surrounded by trees and was very enjoyable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Timbers is a great place for families and couples! We rented a couple's apartment, it had a well-equipped kitchen, cozy bedroom and family room, good heating and a nice view. the only problem we had was with the shower - the shower curtain was not long enough so the floor was flooded after every shower.

We’ve been on a 3 week road trip and this was one of our favorite places we stayed. The price was great. We were so happy to have a place to ourselves with a full kitchen, and separate sleeping area for the kids. The walk to the laundry facilities was super convenient and was the pool/hot tub area. The kitchen in the condo had plenty of pots/pans/etc… we wish we had booked this place for an extra day! And the front desk lady was so sweet and helpful!

Entrance was not lit up couldn’t see to walk up the outside stairs and inside the light is delayed lighting up my son tripped and fell outside the door. When I checked out the lady at the front fest was very rude could care less when I tried to explain how dangerous it was at night not having any outside lights!!

Old school time sharing. That means an oven in the kitchen. Nothing but great news here. From check in to exit. Relaxation. The kitchen is fully stocked down to a bottle opener. There isn't central air, but it's usually not needed in this part of the country. Your travel to West Yellowstone is about 20 minutes or so. The cheapest horse back riding in the area about 20 minutes. Mesa Falls 20 minutes. West Yellowstone Theater 10 minutes. Star watching on top of the hill by the office. Laundry $1.00 on premises. If this property is in your budget, book it for a pleasing vacation.

The property had almost everything we needed. Thank you for the fan. Since there was no AC it was a little toasty inside but the fan helped a lot. We didn't use the pool or workout room because we were too busy, but they looked nice and the playground seemed fun for kids. Very family friendly. Golf course was beautiful. Plenty of activities to do to stay entertained. Great proximity to West Yellowstone. The unit was clean, carpet and flooring was dated but clean. Furniture was nice. My only complaint was that we had to keep the windows open to stay cool so we could hear EVERYTHING that everyone else was doing outside and the birds were really obnoxious very early in the morning.
