Parking was free via a ticket from the motel. The carpark was gravel which made moving the heavy cases difficult.
Our room was at the very end of the ground floor so it was a fair hike to get there, this could have been problematic if there had been any mobility issues

The room itself although starting to show its age was good

Staff were excellent and it was novel to have a bowling alley as part of the complex.

A great hotel across the road for meals.

After booking I realised was a pet friendly hotel so asked in advance for a pet free room. On arrival they said they deep cleaned the room however it still smelt like dog. Could’ve been the carpet cleaner? I didn’t see any pet hair which was good and it didn’t set off allergies luckily. Bed was comfy enough however there was silverfish in there! Bathroom was dirty. Hair and rubbish left on floor. Lots of dust along the carpet and skirting boards. The hotel is really outdated. The carpet in some common areas old and lifting. An old opened milk was left in the fridge obviously not checked. Ok place to stay but too expensive for what it is.
Staff were kind and tried to help but I felt bad for raising my concerns as they couldn’t help. Breakfast items were good however as a plant based diet was really only toast cereal and beans. I decided to pay for a ‘real’ coffee and they ran out of oat milk and heated up what was left in the jug which made it way too hot to drink. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again based on my experience but again should be a budget option for somewhere safe to stay. Great location though for cafe and restaurants. Also has bowling if that’s something you’re into.

The room looked tidyish upon entry as soon as you opened the door you were smacked in the face with a discusting smell went to reception to let them know they gave me something to spray the room which didn't work there was thick mould above the window and in the shower and all around the bath plug the breakfast was average the eggs tasted like powdered eggs and gritty in your mouth

All the carpets on the premises including the room are signifigantly worn and stained. This makes the hotel seem not clean. Simply replacing all carpets would give this place a massive upgrade.

The bed is clean and comfortable. The bathroom is dated, and could benefit from a new shower curtain and a courtesy hair dryer like most other places offer.

Convenient location to Queenstown and directly accross from Onson hot pools. The complimentary parking was a nice add.

The room wasn't ready when we arrived and the bathroom was filthy with soap scum and mould, on the second day our room wasn't made up and there was no fresh towels.
We decided to not stay on our second night and found a much nicer facility for less per night. The general condition of the building is very run down with saggy, ripped and stained carpets and on the inside is rough it also had grass growing out of the spouting, for over $300 a night I would expect far more and sadly this hotel looks and runs like its at the end of its life, the plus side is the food was good and the Staff are lovely

Stayed there during summer, so maybe it would have been a more handy location during snow/ski season. Short drive to Queenstown centre and shops. Breakfast had all the essentials but practically same choices every morning, except Christmas they had some extra desserts. No lifts, like in a few places around NZ, so you have to carry up your own luggage, especially after already dragging them through the gravel carpark. But parking was free and it's Queenstown area so you're mostly out anyways.

The staff were unfriendly and not well presented. The breakfast room staff didn't wear uniform and were hard to tell apart from the guests. One breakfast staff member even had holes in her jumper. The hotel was unclean, and the carpets were worn and stained. The whole place was very outdated and needed cleaning and modernising. When we checked out, the girl on reception was totally disinterested. All she said was 'room number ' nothing else. Also, the breakfast room was shared with the bowling alley. After being out all day on Wednesday, room service knocked on our door at 4.40pm. It was too late by then so we didn't get our room cleaned. One of the worst places we've stayed

Room was spotless, great amenities, bowling arcade kept the kids happy & staff were really lovely especially giving me a gift for milestone birthday we were celebrating during our stay which made our visit to Queenstown even more special. Two-bedroom unit was spacious and comfortable for young family of 5 & unit 49 had amazing mountain views. Dinner was lovely however breakfast was a little underwhelming, not sure if it was a new staff member or not but barista did not make nice coffee. Thankfully there was a nespresso coffee machine in our room so that saved the day. Will definitely stay again :)

Everything was good except few things. One is they didn’t provide microwave in the room white felt awkward because I had to microwave my food from outside side such as from gas station and coffee shop. They should put just one microwave in a room. I know it’s about hygiene but if a customer would like to stya for few days , it would be fine. And another is tv. There was not much channels on a tv. Not even you tube. Which found a bit funny. Because I was staying in a macanzie motel located in a Fairlie, they have a you tube in a tv. And here, nothing. I was not watching tv because of that.

Tired, basic and dodgy plumbing

Lovely greeting and service at reception but pretty downhill from there. The property is seriously dated (circa 1980s), and in desparate need of updating. Original fake wood panels, a heater that sounded like it was about to take off, really weak shower over the bath. The bathroom sink was blocked so the water barely drained and when it did, it kind of bubbled up and was giving off a pretty awful smell. Beds were mostly comfortable but the 2 mattresses joined in the middle was not great. Clean i guess (blocked sink aside) but hard to keep old wallpaper and 80s tiles sparkling.
Given its location and the hotel brand i was hoping for better and wouldnt rush back or recommend

The place is fantastically situated if visiting Coronet peak. It is clean and about 20 mins from Queenstown city centre as well.
The room service is not up to the mark. The team had to be reminded a couple of times and when the room was serviced the tea, milk and coffee and other amenities had not been replenished.

On the last day, there was no hot water available and this was not promptly attended to. A flimsy excuse was given that maybe a number of guests had showered in the morning and hence there was no hot water. We ended up having a cold shower because we had to leave which was bot a good experience in the middle of winter. No compensation for the lack of service was offerred.

So we went down to order food but no one was there so we headed to main reception and they came and took our order.
