Check in is off property. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Water pressure and temperature was wacky. The water temperature was never constant. The mattress was hard.

But we still had a great time!

Amazing stay, will definitely be back

We had an amazing time at Ocean Pointe Suites at Key Largo and truly loved everything about it.

The amenities are top-notch, great tennis courts, an amazing pool, and a really solid onsite restaurant. The property felt very safe, clean, and well maintained throughout our stay. Our unit was a 10/10, everything we needed and very comfortable.

You can tell the management and owners take this place seriously, it really shows in how well everything is run.

The location is also super convenient, with plenty of great restaurants and amenities within a 10-minute drive. The pier is a standout feature, perfect spot to catch a beautiful sunrise.

We’re already planning to come back for a longer stay. Highly recommend.

We loved the location and quiteness. The broken elevator was a true inconvenience with elderly family members huffing up 4 flights of stairs and the person to help was no where. Entering was easy, as someone just opened the gate, but the next day the gate guy said we should have stopped and got a pass, he never came out of the booth the first night. Check in is off location, but check out is simple. Our room was okay, the other family members had a terrible mattress.

Check in office was at a different location than the property. That was not made clear in booking emails. We arrived at the address provided & drove around it 3 times assuming we were lost. The address was very tacky looking & no beach or pool as stated. Not a property we were willing to stay in. We thought we were going to have to try to cancel & drive 3-4 hours home & try to cancel our snorkeling tour for the next day! Upon entering the office & expressing our concern we were told that that wasn’t the location of our accommodations. One we arrived at the property we were very pleased it was lovely. A clear explanation would have removed all the stress!

The view from the room was unbeatable! We got a room on swordfish building and I strongly recommend that as it's near the boardwalk and the restaurant. Parking was great. Rooms were clean and had a lot of towels. Kitchen was very useful to cook our meals.

Hotel is maybe 3 stars. They need to renovate. Not much staff to mention, basically at the offsite checkin and the gate attendant. They should have a beach maintenance person, lots of seaweed. Parking gets full so we had to park by one of the other buildings and walk. It was ok but I don’t think I would stay at this hotel again.

Most rooms have a view of the ocean. A few items did not work in the room. Once I figured out how to report it 2 of the items were fixed that day. Service at the restaurant was a bit slow but the food was good.

The location is great! The pool, restaurant, and beach were very nice amenities. The first condo was very dirty with stained upholstery and the surfaces and floors were in need of cleaning. I requested a new room/condo which was accommodated by management. The balcony is very small on all units....I would not recommend these condos for cleanliness issues!

Positives is that the pool area is beautiful and the rooms themselves were comfortable. The kitchen was nice and the rooms themselves were big.

Negatives include one bathroom having no water pressure in the sink and shower so all 6 of us had to share one working bathroom. I called the staff about it and they said they will send someone to fix it and then said we turned the faucet the wrong way (??) and then didn't offer a solution. They only gave 2 shampoo/conditioner for our group of 6 and it took 2 calls before we could get ore delivered and it was a hassle to get more pillows and towels too. The floors were dusty in the master bedroom.

Check in was also very weird, there was no instructions about going a half mile away from the location to pick up the key.

Our room was extremely dirty, there were bugs and feces on the plates, I have wrote the customer service line multiple times and have heard nothing back. There were stains on the sheets and rips in the towels and there were wet/damp towels put up, wrinkled as if someone wiped their hands or something with them before we came in. I would definitely not return to this establishment.

Our unit was clean. We were not left enough towels and wash cloths for 3 people, but called and more were brought promptly. Our kitchen light was not working and we reported it right away (Sunday) It took 3 phone calls before it was finally fixed on Wednesday.
Otherwise our stay was very pleasant

Clearly, the place was neglected and tremendously overpriced
In the bed in their primary bedroom was broken. It is the cheapest bed and the cheapest mattress you could possibly purchase, but the fact that it was broken and you couldn’t sleep on it. There are many things that were neglected and cheap. It was disgusting to pay that much for that crap.

Spacious but needs some TLC. Shower handle fell off, kitchen sink handle messed up, but my biggest issue, outside lights are good for security but then have better window coverage. Room so bright to get a good night sleep. Pool a busy noisy for me but beach area was nice.

While the room looked \"tired\" (furniture was old and a little beat up). Room was mostly clean but could have been cleaner (ie: bottom of microwave had egg all over it from previous tenant, Closet floors didn't look like they have been mopped) but rest of it was really clean. Overall the resort was amazing! Nice pool, hot tub, and beach area. Beautiful sunsets! We unfortunately didn't get to try the restaurant as we ran out of time but people said it was good.

Upon check-in (which is offsite), you receive a text message welcoming you and instructing you to let them know if you have any questions or concerns. No one actually monitors those messages. All mattresses sagged in the middle, which is not ideal for people sharing a bed or those with back issues. Neither bathroom door shut properly. I brought these concerns to the attention of the person who answered the phone number we had to call in order to check out. She said she would forward the message and that it was the “best she could do”. The view was nice, but I don’t think I would recommend this place to others.

Check in was SO confusing. We were looking for the resort and check in was a very small office building on the main highway. The resort was approximately two miles from there. Rooms were pretty good but with two rooms being booked at the same time, we ended up in separate buildings with one being a two bedroom suite and the other a one bedroom suite. One battery from TV remote was removed and found in nightstand. Blind in bedroom wasn't working properly so hung shirt to avoid no peeking from the exterior walkway. Very quiet. It seems like a nice place if you were to bring your own fishing boat with. Weather was cool so didn't use the pool or beach.

Overall, it was somewhere to stay. Tried a local restaurant (Crooked Palm - great). Unit needs some renovations/replacements/cleaning. Our rental (3207) was none of those pictured. Check in is OFF-SITE.

The kitchen cabinet laminate has come off in large parts. The couch needs replaced - creaks when you sit, worn out cushions, and the back needs a pillow so you don't fall into the hole of what used to be the back support.

Master bedroom - lightswitch wouldn't stay up and sparked when it got turned on. We called, told someone would look at it the next day. Bed was ok; old. TV was crooked but the TV or Internet box was balancing on it so I didn't want to straighten it out.

Master bath - the shower is a large (twice the size of the balcony easily) walk-in with glass door. Could be very nice, but the only shower head isn't very adjustable at all and you have to straddle the drain to stand under the water. The drain is several inches too low and instead of raising it they just made it into a sloped 12\" pothole, thus the straddling requirement.

Cleanliness - clean sheets, counters, shower door/sink/toilet was clean but no one has touched the vanity itself, the door handles, light switches in years and the grout in and out of the shower is very discolored. Touch up paint has been done poorly, flaked off and redone, there's paint on the floor, vanity, wall, etc.

Balcony is tiny but exists. Feral cats and raccoons were watched from here.

The floors were pretty dirty to the point that our feet and socks turned black. A deep and better clean and I would definitely give 5 stars.

The kitchen was lacking baking dishes. The room was no better than an average hotel we've stayed at - mattress not good, decor was worn, only broom and mop for cleaning, no dust pan, cheap dresser - drawers did not work and were dirty. Nice walk in shower, view nice though balcony tiny, pool and hot tub nice, beach deceptive from pictures - sandy to the water, but squishy and rocky walking in. Great having washer/dryer. Overall, expected better for the price.

The ocean view was as I expected. Mostly mangroves with a slice of ocean beyond. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The on-site restaurant was great too!
However, we were disappointed with the rocky beach. Also, we weren’t aware that we had to check in first at an off-site location.

The staff at check-in was very unfriendly and acted like they were doing me a favor when doing their job. It was a negative start to our stay. The space was dull. View was mediocre. I had to send multiple text messages to the Housekeeping number before getting a response and even more messages to actually receive what I requested.

The condo was in poor to okay condition. One couch and one patio chair were broken. The blinds in the small room were broken. Overall, it was clean except for portions of the ceiling and the wall vents. We requested a few things from housekeeping via text, as instructed, and did not receive anything we asked for. We purchased our own toilet paper and dishwasher detergent because we ran out and did not receive replacements. The King bedroom was nice but the bedroom with the queen bed was tiny and did not have a closet so there was no space for luggage or clothing. There are no bathrooms at the beach. We had a tiny view of the ocean and the balcony off the living room was very narrow with barely enough room for two basic chairs.

The amount of space was the only thing that this place has going for it, it was extremely outdated and I could have been fine w/that had it been clean and well stocked per the description, this was not at all the case!
Requested more bath towels as there were not enough for 3 adults and needed an extra blanket they said yes sure be right there and never received anything just texts saying they were bring it??? Never saw anyone to help didn’t seem that anyone cared enough to make this very reasonable request happen!
Very disappointed ☹️ maybe other condos are nice but #1309 stay away from & again no one to help!

This was the second time I stayed at the Ocean Pointe at Key largo. This experience was as expected, except the furniture was at best tired. The couch and bed were worn out and need replacing. The mattress was horrible. The rest of the facility was grand. So, will I go back probably. Will I go back if I know they have upgraded their furniture and mattresses for sure.

Room: Suite was dated. Homeowner could put more effort in with updating living furniture (dirty) patio, lamps, bath. Walls / trim need repair/ paint. *Balcony is terribly small! Not enough room for 2 adults to even stand without touching!
Staff/ resort: Wonderful! Friendly. Clean. Grounds well-kept. Secure! Beautiful pool/ water-front.
Weather was perfect! Over-alll worth the $

It was a nice place to rest at night but not a place to spend your vacation l.

Dishwasher had a rotted black dishwasher tab in it. Made me wonder what they washed dishes with the last time. We did not use any dishes due to that. Smallest balcony I’ve ever seen. Location can’t be beat though

Went for a family trip of 7 with kid and elderly. Location is awesome with private beach and ocean view room. Room is really good with fully stacked kitchen. Would have given 5 stars but our oven was not working. Great play would stay again!!!!

Beautiful large suite size room with two balconies over looking the ocean. On-site restaurant and pool bar offered a good choice of food and beverages. Staff was friendly and helpful. Two things to be aware of: 1.Check- in is off site and located in a small office a couple miles from the resort. 2. The racoons at the pool will still your food if you're not watching. (all funny till they tip over your $20 Tuna Poke) Over all we'd love to visit again!
