Not a professional apartment complex. There is no signage identifying the building only when asking a concierge on ground floor for another hotel are you told to go to the 17th floor. The reception office was an old hotel room. No one spoke English. Having said that the room was refurbished and comfortable however no safety box. Thought I was going to wake up with a missing kidney and all my belongings stolen.

If you are thinking to visit Guangzhou and to be close to Canton Fair and want a room like apartment then don't think twice and don't waste your time searching for hotels... This is the place in which you will feel comfortable.
I travel a lot but this apartment hotel was exceptional in everything, quite, clean, very helpful in reception, close to stores, restaurants and leisure.

It has bug in the room, the microw wave is smelling so as the water pot.the desk and the desk is peeling. Shower room did not clean after last guest check out. No place for shopping fruit and vegetables. Not worth the 4 star ranking.

I loved everything about this place, and I spend half my life in hotels. The apartments are condo type, with owners, so some are better kept than others. Its perfect for fair goers, actually connected to the Pazhou, and lots of food places. No breakfast at Heefun, but so-what.

Funny, I always look for a few key things at every hotel I stay, 1) the caulking in the bathrooms, 2) shower head flow, 3) smell, and not bad smell masked by chemical, I hate that.

HeeFUn stacks up, ok. Great value

Disappointing stay in HeeFun Pazhou

Room was not as expected, no desk and chair as per pictures online. Service was dreadful as I asked for a laundry rack (the room had a washing machine), they told me they didn't have and I should put my laundry on the window rail. Also there were cockroaches in the room. Wifi didn't work properly. Only Chinese TV channels. Materials was damaged (e.g. iron, pans for the kitchen)

Heefun Apartments Canton Fair

The property is located close to the Canton Fair and is walk-able distance. The property was clean and spacious.. Had issue with aircon but that was quickly resolved by moving us to another room. We only had issues locating the property as there was no proper signage. There is limited choice of good restaurants in the vicinity and normally need to take the train to town.
Overall a good place for a night or two.

The staff were phenomenal. Very helpful in so many regards. They spoke English. House keeping was everyday was basic. My greatest frustrations were 1. The cockroaches mainly tiny ones too was afraid they would get into my luggage they need to fumigate. 2. For a self contained appartment there was no crockery except for 4 tea cups 2 saucers and 2 teaspoons. No iron. As a self contained appartments these basics are necessary

Loved the location, the shower and the views - it was great spot for the Canton Fair. Did not love the long waits for the lift, the stink of smoke in the room (despite asking for a non-smoking room) or the few cockroaches I caught running across the floor. Also, I found it strange they advertise a kitchenette and provide instant coffee but there's zero cutlery or crockery provided. Odd!

Very dated hotel and killed a cockroach everyday in the room. The in-room laundry machine was ridiculous and a full cycle from wash to dry took more than 3.5 hours. There are no restaurants or tuck shop on site.

On business there internet service almost never worked , TV same issue , air condition in my room I think the display just for presentation , I would set it very low and temp did not change , house keeping would close blinds every day , so in an effort to keep room cool, my room reached a temp of 45 c , I video if you would like to have it. In any event this was not a good expeeiance , and I grossly overpaid .

It was very close to Pazhou Complex Exhibition Center. Room was great, actually I didn't expect 32nd floor, but was at height, up in the air! Guess the reason the water didn't come out well in the morning, because everyone was using water... and the building is too tall maybe? No much decent food around the area.

So I was visiting Canton fair and decided to book this hotel since it is very conveniently located near Canton fair complex and metro station.

Good -
1. Staff is very well behaved always ready to help
2. Front desk is very good at speaking English
3. House keeping was good and regular
4. Room was clean
5. Location if you are visiting Canton fair or any other event at Pazhou exhibition area

Bad -
1. This was suppose to be room with full kitchenette however that was not the case. There were no utensil or tableware in room. When asked to front desk they provided very few (as per their standard), one spoon, one dish, one bowl, one pan and one utensil to cook; that's all. No big glass or fork or knife. Basically not sufficient to cook anything. See attached image of all utensils I got
2. I've asked for smoke free room but they did not have any available. Since I was travelling alone without my family I agreed to take the room. I am a non smoker and first day was very difficult to leave with the ugly smell of smoke
3. Room was cramped and very small. Even for 2 people it would be difficult to adjust in that small space
4. They have only induction stove, which is very difficult to cook with

I paid 120USD + taxes for a night and obviously it was not worth of that much money. Good if rates are around 70USD but anything more than that is overpriced

not a good choice.

I booked 2 rooms as business suite.
Room was big and well equipped. But my colleague found cockroach twice!!!!!
Also I chose non-smoking room but it turned out that all rooms are smoking room.
Even though there's non-smoking signage in aisle and elevator waiting area, everybody smokes and employees doesn't care about it.
Hotel facilities are ok considering the price but cleanliness not ok.
I also found flea.....in bed sheet.

I'm not going to stay here again..

Poor service, room not clean, used slippers.

Don't understand why people give good comment on this hotel. Slippers they provided are not brand new, it's used. Call the hotel front desk 3 times, and argued with the manager to finally get 2 pairs of brand new slippers. The manager said the slippers they provided are not one-time disposable, they are environmental-friendly reusable type. What the Fxxk? Plus, it took me 3 calls to get this kind of respond. This is the first time in my life staying in a hotel with old used slippers. Wifi reception is not good. Shower area is not clean, yellowish and blackish mold can be seen on the wall tiles. Subway station is not far, 10 minute-walking distance. The one good thing with this hotel is its view, can see river, garden, downtown from a distance, good window view.

Convenient location - good value for money

A bit hard to find initially - just look for block D of the Pazhou exhibition centre, then you have to get the taxi to drive in through the security gates to block D. Reception is on the ground floor (not the 6th as someone else said?)

Room was quite comfortable and has cooking facilities. You need to ask them for cooking utensils. Staff were not overly friendly but were quite efficient.

At first there does not seem to be much in the area, but the secret is to take the elevator down to the basement, then you will find an arcade with a bakery, restaurants, Mcdonalds and other shops. Metro is an easy 400M walk. Would certainly stay there again.

There was only one English speaking staff.
Water Boiler was not working for all the 7 days of my stay.
Induction was not working most of the time.
Staff was courteous.
House keeping staff leaves by 6 pm. Then one has to wait for next day morning to get the desired.
The light (down lighter) in the shower cubicle was not working for all the 7 days of my stay. Neither did the hotel staff understand and resolve the issue.

Almost don't want to share this hotel with others - as very happy to find it within walking distance to Canton Fair. The rooms are great with good internet connection for all our devices. There is kitchen - though as others mention no utensils. If you dial reception however they will bring you a set for all you need. In the metro stop on -1 level - you can find a convenience store - selling all you need, plus a fruit shop & a reasonable coffee shop for breakfast. At the back of the hotel is another convenience shop - open all hours. Be prepared to haggle & pay extra for taxi's into town during the fair time - they are still cheap enough.

It's located in Pazhou complex and is very convenient for Expo attendees. It's recommended place to stay. I would suggest the hotel should remove carpets from the hall way to eliminate odors from humidity.

This hotel was great. It's so close to the Canton Fair and only 5 minutes from the main hubs of Guangzhou. I would definitely recommend this for visitors who want a cheap, yet comfortable hotel. The only downside was that there is cooking facilities in the room, but no equipment.

Excellent place for canton fair.

I have one of the best stay in canton fair after many years of visiting this fair. The hotel is just 10 minutes walking to the fair. I read before here no good options for food, but actually there are 2 food stores , and westin hotel which has 3 restaurants. The room looks almost new, we asked for dishes and we got some enough for cooking and for 3 people. We asked for iron and we received after 5 minutes. I will definitely stay at this hotel every year.

no breakfast, no restaurant. This is the only down thing... everything else was perfect. The Hotel is almost inside canton fair buildings. MCdonalds and subway is underground the hotel, but the lanch was terrible and make all my friends included me, sick. thats why i prefer had a nice international breakfast in the Hotel, wish we dint. wen always travel to china. With no breakfast or any restaurant, i dont think this hotel deserves at least 2 stars.

Perfect hotel for the Pazhou Conference Center

The HeFun hotel is excellent. The washer/dryer was a good addition and allowed me to do my laundry before I left to my next hotel. It wasn't smoky, the rooms was clean, the water was hot, the TV worked (one English channel) and it is very close to the Pazhou conference center - about a 10 minute walk. There is a McDonalds and Subway located in the basement level of an adjoining center near the subway. Additionally, the subway stop for Pazhou is right near the hotel. The only confusing part about the hotel is that there isn't any clear indication where the hotel is - look for \"Block D\" - the entrance is on the opposite side of the main road/river side. About the only problem I had was that my room was located on the road/river side and across the river there were a lot of roosters crowing all night long and the window didn't seal that well and you could hear them.

The service was good and the standard of cleanliness was first rate. It is very modern and well maintained and is very handy for the exhibition centres located next door. The lift was a bit annoying as there always seemed to be a long wait. Also the room I stayed in has a nice kitchenette but with no cutlery or anything. Not even a spoon to accompany the two coffee cups! So dont expect to do any cooking unless you bring your own!

Very close to the fair, so best price for this location.
It is so hard to find. Good luck, even with directions in Chinese character and multiple phone calls from the cab driver to the Hotel, you will still be lost. Because there is no name anywhere, and the lobby for this hotel is on the 8th floor of another hotel building, only security (avail 24/7) can let you up to the 8th floor.

Hotel was very nice.... when I finally found it at midnight. Almost took a room in the Shangri La since I was unable to find it for over an hour. Expedia needs to provide a correct Chinese address. There is no signage on the building and is not close to anything but the Canton Fair.

Great place for going back and forth to the Canton Fair. Nice, clean rooms. Only problem is that nothing is close by.

Great Hotel.. Slightly hard to find.

Heefun was a great place to stay for the duration of the Canton Fairs. It is located right by all the main expo halls and after a long day its a relief to know your hotel is not more than 200m from the easily found Pazhou Metro Station. Although listed as an apartment with cooking facilities, you will have a hard time as no flatware, cutlery or utensils are supplied. There is a small convenience store nearby for essentials, and there is also a food court nearby which is great for daytime. (I recommend the fresh dumplings in soup!). Nighttime is slightly more problematic if you are looking for a bar or restaurant, as there are only high end hotels nearby, which can be pricey. The staff are friendly and speak a good level of English, so they can point you in the right direction of a bit of nightlife. Overall good place, and good experience. We will book again for the Canton Fairs.

Very close to Canton Import/ Export Center. Rooms look new, with all new amenities and appliances. My room even had a washer and dryer for laundry, very convenient. Unfortunately the hotel, and surrounding area lacks food an entertainment, especially after hours when the only mini McDonalds and mini 7-Eleven close shop. The hotel is difficult to find as it is setback from the street, and it resides in an office-like high rise. Look for a small McDonalds sign. I would definitely stay here again.

그리고 주변이 전시장이다보니 많지않은 식당들이 오후6시쯤이면 대부분 문을 닫아서 아파트먼트 뒤쪽에 패밀리마트를 이용했다.
전시장 관람, 참가하기위해서 온 사람들, 조용히 쉬고 싶은사람들에게는 나쁘지 않은 위치의 아파트먼트인거 같긴하다.
