Spacious, clean, bright room with plenty of space for the 2 we were.
The hotel is located right next to a convention center, various shopping mall and a subway station all within walking distance.
Quiet surroundings (as opposed to some other hotels located in dense, busy, noisy areas).
Room was very well sound proofed and couldn't hear anything from adjacent rooms.

The overall appliances is bit too old for a five star hotel, concierge no longer actively open car doors for guest nor carry luggage. Drive way is under maintenance and guidance for incoming cars is bad and often result in traffic.

My husband and I recently visited the city for a few days, and we were recommended to try out your hotel. We booked the Club Executive King room, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The hotel itself is stunning, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. A special mention goes to Queenie, who greeted us warmly as soon as we walked in to the front desk. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, we had to leave our luggage with Queenie because we wanted to try their famous Chinese cuisine when we arrived and she assured us that our luggage will be delivered and taken care of seamlessly. Thank you for providing such a wonderful stay. We look forward to returning in the future!

The spa charges are comparatively expensive, about RMB$1,600 for 90 minutes oil massage.
Better avoid booking this hotel during trade show time, spring and autumn. Traffic is terribly slow. Maybe double the time it should take.

The advantage of this hotel is being 10 min walk from Canton fair, otherwise, there is nothing to do around here, there are not many dining options except for the hotel restaurants, which are very good by the way

My experience at Langham Place, Guangzhou was truly fantastic from start to finish. Everything, from the seamless check-in to the quick check-out, was handled with efficiency and professionalism.

We chose an Executive Room, which was absolutely worth it—the executive lounge and executive terrace associated with the room provided an elevated experience. The room amenities and design were top-notch, offering both style and comfort.

The breakfast selection was impressive, catering to almost every international traveler with a wide variety of options. The architectural design by AEDAS is stunning, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel is remarkable.

Service was another highlight—the staff was consistently friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the location near the Metro made getting around the city extremely convenient.

If I had to be a bit picky, the orientation of some facilities could be better planned. The rooftop terraces and breakfast restaurant could have taken greater advantage of Guangzhou’s spectacular views. The breakfast area, in particular, felt a bit enclosed for such a large hotel.

That being said, these are minor points in an otherwise exceptional experience. Langham Place, Guangzhou is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking luxury, comfort, and world-class service.

Use the heated pool, the water temperature is too cold for me. The dressing room is not well maintained.
The staff are excellent, at Chuan, Ming Court, Alfresco, the Reception and the concierge.
The worst is the location, it’s only good for attending the Canton Fair or exhibitions at nearby halls.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Langham Place, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The hotel boasts very modern architecture, making it a visually stunning place to stay. Everything was impeccably clean, and the overall ambiance was inviting.

The food was delightful—each meal I had was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The hotel had a lovely scent that enhanced the overall atmosphere, making it feel even more luxurious.

What truly touched me was how the staff made my birthday special. They surprised me with a cake and sang a heartfelt birthday song, which made the occasion unforgettable.

In the evenings, we enjoyed live music at the bar, which added a nice touch of animation to our nights. However, I did find the spa services a bit overpriced. A massage cost $300, and while it was nice, it didn’t feel particularly special for the price.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Langham Place. The combination of excellent service, great food, and a beautiful setting made my birthday celebration truly memorable!

Perfect for Canton Fair. Easy access by crossing the street to 15A entrance (2 minute walk) cleanliness, class, beauty, service and comfort were all perfect. Great choice of restaurants within hotel. Buffet breakfast was perfect too. My only nitpick is the room airconditing which stayed at 21-22 degrees celsius despite being set to 18. But I still slept great. I would come back for sure

We checked in after 2am. At check in the staff reconfirmed that one room was for double and another was for triple. When we went into the room, the room for triple sharing did not have an extra bed, nor were the amenities setup for 3 people. When we called for an extra bed, the staff told us that we've to pay extra for for an extra bed. We were too tired to argue and just accepted and decided to fix the issue the next day. Thankfully the front desk clarified in the morning that we didn't have to pay for the extra bed. However, for a 5 start hotel with a good reputation, this kind of miscommunication/misunderstanding is unacceptable. Also, the room should have already been setup for 3 people without us having to request. Hence the 4 out of 5 star rating.

Otherwise everything else was great. Nice buffet spread, decent gym and spa, and and timely and efficient room makeup.

It was a nice stay, all the staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the swimming pool and I think it was amusing that they’d make you wear a swim cap even if you’re bald. The Ming Court restaurant was fantastic. The lobby smelled nice. Lots of food delivery options nearby. It’s not too far from the subway. Downside: if you speak 0 Chinese and need help (like asking for a new crib sheet because your little one had an accident), you may have some trouble if you call the concierge on the phone. I specifically booked this place because English communication was not supposed to be an issue here, but at times it was, and I had to act as the interpreter for other people in my group.

Good afternoon, the truth is that the Hotel is excellent, the cleaning service, the restaurant service is the reception service, which leaves a lot to be desired and is really a lack of respect for the client who stays at the Hotel, the cleaning service Reception on the ground floor when you arrive at the Hotel the people who carry your suitcases are accomplices along with all the taxi drivers and they take a commission, but it is really a shame that this happens and the bad image it leaves the Hotel being so prestigious , there is not a person who was not connected and being an accomplice of the taxi drivers, always charging more, there was not a single time that did not happen in 10 days of stay, thank you very much.

Pricey yes but you get what you pay for. Business lounge on 22nd floor has the best of the best. Staff is over and above. Special Shout out to Krystal, Hannah and Ken on the 22nd lounge floor. The hotel is lucky to have amazing staff like this but ALL the staff we met were great.
