Bien ubicado, la habitación estaba muy cómoda, amplia y limpia. El personal fue muy amable y me ayudaron mucho en conseguirme transporte aún en la lluvia. Hay café y máquinas expendedoras. Lo único que no me encantó fue el desayuno, no está malo pero tampoco está rico. En general me pareció un buen lugar para descansar

Pool was really hot cause of the sun outside but was great but should have more staff there because when I was on the patio I looked down on it and there was a couple who looked like they were doing things they shouldn’t in a pool but other than that rooms were always cleaned and patio area had a great view, great reception staff, and the breakfast staff are the best in my opinion overall great hotel to stay at and will keep using it whenever I go back into town

Holiday Inn Express Pachuca by IHG is a solid hotel overall. The property is clean, and the staff is attentive and courteous. Onsite parking is available, which is very convenient for guests arriving by car.
There are a few details that could be improved. The ice machine works, but it has an “out of order” sign on it. When I mentioned this at the front desk, I was told the sign is meant to keep children away, but in practice it discourages all guests from using it.
Another small but noticeable issue is that the envelopes used for the room key cards are reused many times, to the point that they look quite worn. My running joke was that the hotel seems to have an emotional attachment to a piece of paper. Guests are also provided with only one key card, and there is a charge if it is lost.
Overall, it is a good and reliable option, but a bit more attention to these details would improve the guest experience.

The staffs are very friendly and provided great service. The only issue we had, we had a bed sheet with yellow stains, even though the sheets were washed but do not find it comfortable sleeping on a sheet with yellow stains. But the front desk was very nice and gave us a clean sheet to put on top of it since it was very late at night and there were no cleaning crew. I believe the management should tell the cleaning crew not to use sheets or towels with stains, just toss them out. They also need to improve the breakfast.

i booked a king size bed by mistake and paid for the room in advance, then booked a double bed to replace the king size bedroom but hotel would not honor the cancelation of the king size bedroom even though i booked a double bedroom instead. hotel made me pay for both rooms, do not pay for any hotel in advance, the cancelation policy is different than when you pay at the hotel.

This hotel does not follow the Holiday Inn franchise. Coffee in the lobby and at breakfast is way different that everywhere you find when you stay in any Holiday Inn Express.
It seems that the franchise did not enforce to keep the standardization of the hotel.

I paid $624 pesos to wash not that much laundry. I specifically indicated in the form no fabric softener. The used the softener anyway and ruined my clothes. So gross!

Will not stay here again

We were driving back to the city and was too tired to keep on driving. I booked my a a night the same day at this hotel using a free reward I had. Upon checking in I was I formed I had made reservation for the following week instead, which was my mistake l. However the overnight person at the front desk was rude about it, did not wanted to modified to that nights stay instead.

I had to rebook and pay for the night we stayed. The hotel is ok, nothing fancy really. When rebook for the correct right, the gentleman at the front desk tries to overcharge me for the same room, I had to show him my phone where their website and Expedia showed a different price.

He kept on emphasizing on asking how many people will be staying in the room, which since the beginning of our conversation I had told him it was 3 adults a baby and one child. Total of 5 people. He wanted me to pay extra as the double bed suite with pull out couch was not enough. I ended up booking 2 rooms that night. Not only did I loose my free night earned through Expedia but also had to pay for an additional room since the 5 people were too many for their advertisement of 6 people for such suite.

This was just less than professional as there seem zero empathy on this guys behalf. We were all tired and had our luggage down, had a crying baby so we just decided to pay for the extra suite for that one person to sleep there.

I’m not sure I’d this is just a tactic to over sell and meet their quota perhaps?

I was here for two nights and was very comfortable. I reserved a city view suite and it was very spacious with a Netflix TV + living room area equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. There are no complaints on the convenience of the location nor comfortability of the hotel and room. I didn't have a chance to try the gym/pool or free breakfast but I would definitely stay here again. The only con was the very slow wifi I had, but I wasn't really there to work and I didn't bother to bring it to the staff's attention.

The staff was great. they were always there when I had a question.
the bathroom was cleaned every day. The room was also clean.
I want to say thank you to the person that clean room 115 from 11/11/18
to 11/16/18. She did a great job. The breakfast was great.
The only thing was the heat did not work that well.they tried to fix it a couple of times,but it only work for a ten minutes and turn off.
they offer me another room,but I had just another night left of my stay.
The other thing was the Remote control for the TV.It was not easy to make it work.
I think this a great hotel. I am going back to Pachuca next year and I will be staying here.

Hotel staff was nice and courteous. I had an issue with the lighting as much of the overhead lighting was out and the bedside lamp lightbulb was out. When requesting to fix lighting issue they said they didn’t have bulbs in inventory. The beds are quite comfortable so that’s a plus. Continental breakfast was good and I really like the fact that you can go from parking to your room without having to go through the lobby.

In general the condition of the rooms, reception and breakfast area are acceptable, all very clean and the staff very friendly, however I do not understand why they post pictures where they say that the Hotel has a fitness area, the equipment is in a very bad condition, two treadmills do not work and the other one is in very poor condition. I was very disappointed, this is the second time that something like this happens in a Holiday inn.

This hotel is superb. Everything is shiny. Just one thing to notice: the noise. But not from the outside. From within. The fan of extractor in the bathroom is very noisy. The doors are thin. The aisle has very good acoustics. Not a deal breaker but it stands from the otherwise perfect stay. But overall a very good place to stay and excellent location.

Most definitely one of the nicest hotels in Mexico

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the ONLY negative I could find was that the kitchen staff were standing around joking and checking their phones and the food out for the breakfast looked terrible. I got there about 8 AM and the eggs that were left looked like they'd been there since they opened at 6AM. Just no real pride or professionalism in the kitchen. The coffee was great, the fruit was fresh and tasty, the juices were fresh squeezed and excellent. Great location, incredible views of Pachuca and once again the front desk staff were friendly and more than willing to help. They also all speak excellent English.

I will be back in Pachuca next week and I will absolutely be staying at the Holiday Inn Express despite the somewhat ridiculous kitchen staff.. Who by the way were on it and did an excellent job over the weekend. Maybe when the hotel has low occupancy they sort of slack off but still, someone needs to line that kitchen up.

Great Hotel!

Don't get a room facing the street. There is a LED billboard that lights up your room all night long. This was the only downside to this hotel. Curtains don't close out all the light.

La habitación excelente! Si debo ayudar a mejorar aún más, en la habitación 615 al abrir la llave del lavabo, salía con mucha presión y salpicaba todo. Pero en general, el servicio, el restaurante, comida, todo muy bien. Fue estancia de 1 sola noche pero sin duda, regresaremos ahí cuando debamos estar más días. El personal atendió rápido a nuestras peticiones.
