generally - very good location and nice rooms. Staff is trying to help... but... the food is very low quality, also the variety and the way of serving. we had issue with WIFI in our room, asked for help number of times, the issue was repaired after 4 days only. Very old towels in the rooms...really moldy...

Great location by the sea, nice swimming pools. Most of the food was good or even very good, some wasn't the best but there was always plenty of choice anyway. And lots of it ! Property facilities mostly good, some could do with refurb though eg the gym & appartment bathroom. All staff freindly and very helpful. Good place for families, can be busy.. Overall we were very happy there and would return.

The staff was so unwelcoming. No clue for hospitality!!! Hotel not clean at all. Ants in the rooms. Sofa beds terrible, not comfortable at all. The only good thing was the kids entertainment and the supermarket service inside the hotel.

Location was great.

Loved the location of this hotel. It was close to the beach with a fantastic pool. I could walk all the way to the harbour along the walkway. Nissi Road was a block away which was filled with numerous restaurants and shops. It does need a little maintenance as the air conditioner in our room leaked so couldn't be left on for very long.

Don't book if planning to stay 4 in one room

Rather outdated rooms, not clean enough, bad smell in the bathroom and air conditioner, exceptionally poor quality of double bed (to be exact - sofa) - it made the stay for 4 in one room very uncomfortable with backache in the morning. Felt like sleeping in the hammack. Reception and restaurant staff welcoming, food above average

The breakfast in the hotel was very expensive and pretty poor for the paid price. The were some problems in the room. But the the sea and the attractions were great. Aya Napa is the place for holyday with friends or with the family.

We loved our room. It had everything we needed and more. The only inconvenience was that instead of a double bed it was 2 twin together. We loved our private pool, and the proximity to the hotel pool and beach.

Hotel and staff were a very high standard. Nice pool area and hotel has a beach front but the sunbeds on beach are paid for separately. We went to waterworld during our stay it was 124 for 1 adults and 2 children. We arrived at 11 no sun beds or parasol and hottest day in 30 years in cyprus!..

Nice hotel next to beach with excellent service

We stayed at the hotel at the beginning of the season in early May, the apartment was clean and comfortable although the hotel was hosting a sports tournament at the time and quite busy service was quick and efficient and the all inclusive option that we took up was very worth while.

I can commend the bar staff they were friendly and their service was top rated.

There was a little renovation work being completed (mainly painting of apartments externally) which could be expected for the time of season but did not interfere with our stay.

Overall really satisfied with the holiday and would recommend.

Terrible if you are English!!!

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE ENGLISH!!! Completely geared for Russians - not a word of the entertainment programme was English, no TV channels were English, no information posters were English, some hotel staff spoke poor English. Most of the Dining tables were laid out in rows for 20 guests in each table (for the Russian footballers, I assume) with only a few were tables for 2/4. No particular problems with the Russian guests but culturally they are brash, rude and do not have manners - no pleases, thank yous or sorrys. It put us off very much, would never go back. We found the hotel next door called Samos Magic was much nicer so we stayed there in the end and just went back to Callisto to sleep.

Great value!

Great apartments with heaps of space and services. Our checkin was a little slow and there was an issue with our room, however this was rectified with little drama. Beach front with a short walk to everything.. I would definitely stay here again!

Dinner man swearing customers faces and thinks we don't understand what he said. My first holiday what I don't like. Very very bad service! It's not 4 stars it's can be -2 stars

Nice family hotel

We had a realy nice stay at Callisto at the biggining of October 2016. We stayed in apartement with our 2 small kids. The food was great and they had different food theme every evening eg.italian, greeke, mediteranian, asian, mexican, etc. The beach in front of the hotel was a bit rocky but if you wear beach
shoes then it's ok. The room is slately dated and could be renovated but it is big enough for the family of 4 and nicely furniturned. Also the beds should be more comfortable. The staff was great, nice, and ready to help. Overall experience was great, and we would consider coming back again.

The hotel has a pool and access to the beach.

The negative comment I have is that the pool is only open from 9:30-17:30. This is too short especially in the afternoon since it is still hot and sunny. 1 day they even closed the pool for 1 hour to clean it however during the time where people actually wanted to swim. All in all some places need to be renewed. The pullout couch is definitely not comfortable so I do not recommend it.

Everything was excellent...we arrive at 9 oclock on the night..they have our room and key ready..we check in in 1 minute..eirini on desk was amazing..was very friendly and she help us for town informantio...room was perfect ..only the sofa bed was very bad..you cant sleep there aT all..breakfast was excellent. .good staff most of them from cyprus and nice service..
They have as well tennis court..very nice court..we had it for a hour..very good..they charge as 3.5 euro..
We ll go back for the sure. .I recommend it especially for families. ..

Booked the reservation same day and upon arrival they had us wait at lobby because of that. They had us forward the e-mail confirmation to hotel directly which we did immediately. After that still waited an hour. Later gave us the key and advised that will hold the passport for few hours. This was a first! The front desk was not very customer service friendly at all. Room was still not ready even though it was after check-in time. There was no amenities such as soap shampoo etc which we had to ask for. not sure why this would be a four star hotel. Room was spacious and the location was ok. It is a bit far (40min drive) from the airport. We rented a car so it was no problem. Food was good at the hotel. Asked for late check out 1 or 2 hours even.. wanted to charge 60 euros. I would not stay here again!

Hotel was overall very nice to stay In and housekeeping was polite. However the reception staff and night time security staff were very rude and disgraceful. Security started fight with me because I was simply sitting in the lobby using the wifi. Wifi was advertised as free all over the hotel yet we got no signal and the air conditioning was terrible as it would always leak no stop. Hotel 4/5 staff 0/5 need training in manners.

Friendly place to stay

The staff here are incredibly friendly, and they can make your stay very comfortable. The rooms are nice--the \"villa\" feel means you're spread out and you don't feel crowded. We were there in the off-season, so we weren't able to take advantage of the pool. However, it's a good deal, and the town is nice. Food was a bit disappointing, however.

GREAT hotel, eat elsewhere

We went to Callisto Blue Holiday Village in late April--before tourist season began. We found the hotel to be wonderful--clean, large apartments, close to the beach. The cleaning and gardening staff were very friendly. I would stay there again.

I would not, however, EAT there again. The food was mediocre at best. And the general seating had my seven-year-old daughter and I with some very inappropriate dining partners.

There is a small grocery store in the \"village\" and others nearby. We found that, and local restaurants, met our needs better.

While we were there it was primarily families and older couples.

The television only had one channel in English. The clientele is primarily German and Swedish (There is a library full of books in these languages.)

Vi havde all inklusive, men spiste kun morgenmaden på hotellet, da måltiderne (buffeten) generelt var skuffende, der v’er ikke meget til børn heller, så vi måtte spise ude hver dag (frokost og afstensmad).= en ekstraomkostning på 120euro dagligt. generelt er hotellet gammelt og slidt, vi sov virkelig dårlig i gamle slidte senge, og havde kun rengøring 2 gange på en uge..hotellet har dog en god beliggenhed ved stranden og en stor pool.. personalet var ellers super, det må være det største plus

Hôtel que je ne recommanderai pas du tout:
- manque de considération totale du client et irrespect de la part du personnel à l’accueil
- les chambres sont vétustes et très mal nettoyées (à notre arrivée, la poubelle n’était pas vidée, la salle de bain et surtout la douche étaient dégueulasses, plein de poussières partout dans la chambre, lit bébé très sale…)
- pas de laverie et pas de garde d’enfants contrairement à ce qui est marqué sur le descriptif de l’hôtel
- nourriture pas top et pas très variée
Les seuls points positifs sont :
- l’emplacement (la plage est jolie et la ville d’ayia napa offre un grand nombre d’activités
- belle piscine avec pataugeoire pour enfants
- le personnel des restaurants/bars qui sont adorables

Zimmer ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und nicht wie auf den Beispielbildern! Ameisen überall da die Eingangstür nicht bis zum Boden geht! Zimmer wurden zwar täglich aber nur oberflächlich gereinigt! Dusche wurde überhaupt nie gereinigt! Waschbecken vielleicht 2 mal in der Woche! Die ausziehbare Couch ist sehr ungemütlich! Man schläft quasi auf den Federn, da die Matratze nur sehr dünn ist! Mussten eine zusätzliche Decke unterlegen um halbwegs gut zu schlafen! Nachdem wir zuerst überlegten sofort wieder abzureisen, haben wir uns arrangiert und viel Zeit am Strand verbracht, da es um den Pool auch sehr laut war! Der angrenzende Strand ist klein aber dafür nicht so überlaufen, sehr ruhig und gemütlich und toll zum Schnorcheln!

We arrived an hour before check in, was told 1 of our rooms (had 2) was ready and the 2nd room needed a couple of minutes.
We went to the room that was ready, however the wc didnt work so back to the reception and they would fix it. After 1 hour still not ready not even the 2nd room.l Going back and forth to check if it was ready, and the only comment that just have some patience and they would fix it. At the end i had to talk to the manager because nothing was happening 2 ours after check in. The manager finally gave us another room so we had 2 rooms but unfortunately far from each other (travelled with 3 kids and 2 adults).
Every night loud music until 11pm at night which we heard as one of the rooms was close to the restaurant and pool. Very difficult to fall asleep.
We also missed some variety at the restaurant, the food was very similar every day even at the pool bar.
The rest of the staff was friendly and nice. The rooms very old and definitely needs to be upgraded and renewed. The main pool and the one next to were clean, but remaining pools dirty.

Ci è piaciuto: le meravigliose piscine, gli ombrelloni sul prato all'inglese di fronte al mare, la colazione, la estrema cortesia, gentilezza e disponibilità del personale.
Non ci è piaciuto: la camera. Abbiamo dovuto prenotare in urgenza per una notta a causa dello sciopero aereo del 15 luglio 23. Ci hanno dato una stanza molto ampia ma che probabilmente non era pulita da mesi. I mobili erano fatiscenti, la cassaforte non funzionava, c'era un chiodo per terra e meno male che lo abbiamo visto. La struttura aveva riaperto da pochissimo, forse il problema è stato questo e siccome saremmo rimasti una notte sola ci hanno dato una camera senza controllare prima.

Morgenmaden var fin, og der var alt og vælge imellem. Rengøring var total mangelfuld, personalet gad ikke gøre rent, med mindre man konstant skulle op i receptionen, og brokke sig over det. Byttede værelse, efter vi blev skambidt af væglus i soveværelset. Der er generalt mangel på rengøring i poolområdet, værelse, og det er et hotel der trænger til en opløftning her og der.

Struttura piuttosto vecchiotta e non tenuta benissimo. Camere molto ampie e comode e con ottima dotazione (cucina, microonde, ferro da stiro ecc.), ma la pulizia lascia molto a desiderare e, per una struttura a 4 stelle, alcuni aspetti assolutamente incredibili, come l'assenza per ben 15 giorni di un semplice sapone per le mani o prodotti per la doccia. Il buffet all inclusive è abbastanza vario, ma la qualità della cucina non eccelsa, per cui si finisce a mangiare sempre le stesse cose, mentre la scelta al bar è limitata. Servizi e animazione praticamente inesistenti, se si esclude uno spettacolino serale breve e improvvisato ad uso dei bambini. Piscina abbastanza sporca e con una corsa ad accaparrarsi le poche sdraio ed ombrelloni disponibili, assolutamente insufficienti per tutti gli ospiti. Per quanto riguarda invece la posizione nulla da dire: situato proprio sul mare su una spiaggia molto tranquilla e riparata a due passi sia dalle altre spiagge top, quali Nissi e Makronissos, sia a poco più di un km dal centro di Ayia Napa, e con attorno tutti i servizi necessari. In definitiva consigliatissima per la posizione, ma assolutamente non ai livelli di un 4 stelle ordinario.

Enkelte ansatte lite hjelpsom

Flott opphold men sur betjening i resepsjonen. Spesielt to som ikke var Kypriotere. Lite hjelpsom sur og meget vanskelig. De andre var enestående. Frokosten var veldig bra men det var problem med nok mat. Vi måtte hver morgen spørre eter ting som var tomt, mangel på, rggerøre, brød, syltetøy, bacon, te-poser, tallerken m.m Litt synd at eneste ferske frukten de hadde på 12 dager var appelsin og grapefrukt. Hadde vært kjekt med variasjon. Super beliggenhet kort vei til strand, restauranter og sentrum.

Отель не соответствует 4 звездам, по техническому состоянию номеров, качеству и видам блюд в столовой, включая одноразовые стаканы.Персонал не любезен, девушка на ресепшен не призналась в знании русского языка. А пожилой мужчина, сотудник ресепшен, ввел нас в заблуждение по поводу номера автобуса в сторону Ларнаки, прождав на жаре 2,5 часа,поехали на такси. Объявленная на сайте отеля сауна, не работала.

Fantastiskt läge. Dålig städning. Dåligt underhållen trädgård. Max 3 stjärnor vid bokning stod det att det är ett fyra stjärnigt hotell så är det inte. Fjärde gången vi besöker detta hotell tyvärr även sista gången då hotellet förlorat sin trevnad. Enormt mycket ryssar som bor på detta hotell.

Nous sommes arrivés à 8h (un peu tot c’est vrai) et nois avons du attendre 4h pour avoir notre chanbre! Un horrible attente suite a un vol de nuit désastreux... Aprés je xplication de nos mésaventures à la reception, aucun effort n’a etait fait, nous avons attendu et dormi sur les banquettes de la
Reception (qui sentaient mauvais) pendant 4h!

Vi hade bokat en veckas avkoppling på Callisto men det första vi möttes av i receptionen var att de hade \"råkat\" fullbokat och att vi ska skickas till ett hotell 30 minuter bort med taxi. Detta sa vi naturligtvis nej till. Oacceptabelt! Det slutade med att jag ringde Hotels för råd i frågan och de sa att de skulle fixa ett likvärdigt hotell med all-inclusive. Strax därpå springer managern fram till oss och skäller ut oss för att vi har ringt Expedia och \"skvallrat\". Ursäkta oss för att vi ville bo på ert hotell liksom.
Efter att hon förödmjukat oss färdigt i 1-2 h och i samtal med Hotels fram och tillbaka visade det sig att de skulle slänga ut andra från hotellet istället. Nu när de kunde erbjuda rum helt plötsligt kunde Hotels inte hitta annat boende då det 'löste sig till slut'. Värsta tänkbara början av en semester.

Poolområde: Stor pool, solstolar i mängder, eftersatt underhåll i toaletter och andra gemensamma utrymmen.

Maten: Smaklös. Under en hel veckas tid fanns det inte färskt bröd en enda gång. Torrt och smuligt. Köttet alltid sönderstekt och torrt, varannan oliv smakar pest, varannan melon smakar pest.
Rödvinet går ej att dricka, det vita lite bättre men Rosévinet består av en blandning av bägge deras viner. Vi såg när de hällde upp.

Kackerlackor i och under vår säng. De skickar en rädd 15 årig tjej som gråter och ropar \"why me\" för att utplåna dessa. Vi fick inga rena lakan efter denna incident.

Po příjezdu na hotel nám oznámila recepční,že pro nás nemají pokoj a že nás ubytují v jednom z vedlejších hotelů.Jelikož jsem byla loni v jednom z vedlejších hotelů, tak právě proto jsem si vyhlídla,zarezervovala a zaplatila 100% ceny,právě v tomto hotelu,který se mi líbil.Hotel má krásnou zahradu.Bazén ideální pro všechny věkové kategorie.Přímo u hotelu krásná pláž-Přirodní.
V hotelovém rezortu je dobře vybavený obchod.
Poblíž centrum a spousta krásných pláží.

Ylibuukattu hotelli

Emme saaneet hotelli Callistosta lainkaan huoneita, vaan meidät ohjattiin viereiseen saman yrittäjän omistamaan hotelli Panakseen. Sen taso vastaa huoneiden osalta kahta tähteä. Ensimmäinen huoneemme oli homeessa ja toisessa kanssamme asui ötökkäarmeija.
Hotelli Calliston kanssa oli vaikea neuvotella mistään, he eivät suostuneet maksamaan rahallisia korvauksia. Tulopäivänä henkilökunta kertoi ymmärtävänsä tilanteemme, mutta ratkaisua oli vaikea löytää, lopulta he päätyivät puolihoidon lisäksi tarjoamaan all inclusive-pakettia. Lisäksi Expedia tarjosi matkavouchereita.

Cadre agréable. Bonne animation. Personnel aimable. Un petit bémol pour le ménage qui n'a pas été fait tous les jours mais rien de méchant. J y retournerai sans problème.

Sehr schöner Urlaub in Oktober 2017

Die Appartmens sind geräumig, gut ausgestattet mit Herd, Mikrovelle, Toaster, Kafeemaschiene, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank und Gefirerfach und Backoffen. Wir haben nur Übernachtung gebucht und diese Ausstattung ermöglichte es uns, selbst zu kochen. In Koch/Wohnraum und im Schlafzimmer gibt es jeweils 1 Fernsehapparat. Die Appartmens verfügen über einen Balkon mit Tisch und Stühlen. Das Appartment, das wir bewohnt haben war im ersten Stock und war bequem und sauber gehalten.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und man gelangt schnell zu Fuss oder mit Buss zu verschiedenen Sandstränden in Ayia Napa und Protaras. In der Nähe gibt es unzählige Einkaufsgelegenheiten von Souweniers bis Lebensmittel.

Hotells om blivit invaderat av ryssar, tyvärr.

Hela hotellet fullt av störande, skrikiga ryssar. De sjöng karaoke tills vi fick hotellchefen att stänga av kl 23.00. Helt omöjligt att somna på kvällarna då de satt ute o drack o skrek.

-Frühstück O.K. jeder findet etwas das ihn/ihr schmeckt
-Überlaufen von Russen
-Pool Bereich ideal für Kinder
-Programm am Pool (Wasserball.. Wasservolleyball etc..)
-Strand in 2 min erreichbar.. klein aber fein, gegen € Liegenstühle und Sonnenschirm Mieten..Grösserer Strand in 5min erreichbar
-Thema Sauberkeit im Hotelzimmer.. devinitiv ungenügend.. Bad war ekelerregend..
-Wlan im hotelzimmer SUPPER!

Nice hotel for families

Our expectations were quite low as we had read many recent negative comments about this hotel.

Our room was clean and baby bed was provided according to our prior requests. Cleaners came in group of three and cleaned the room fast and left it very clean.

Pool area is really nice. Hotel quests seemed to be mainly families so the atmosphere was pleasant. Buffet breakfast and dinner were good. Surely it was nothing spectacular as it was buffet but however were totally satisfied. Afterwards I was little bit surprised of all the negative comments concerning food in this hotel.

Couple of negative points I would like to bring up was reception staff's low comprehension of English language and lack of willingness to help out. Also, one rude staff member in dining area but we didn't let that to ruin our holiday. And, my wife made and appointment for massage but the masseur change the appointment which was fine. Then we realized we have to change it again due to our own activities. When my wife then went for the massage the masseur just decided to to give massage to her. Reason was that she didn't like we changed the appointment. Instead of giving a massage she just waited another hour to have next appointment.
