They were very cooperative and kind, they helped us when we had questions about how we get to certain places and many other things. The only thing we had a problem with is that the elevator doesn’t start from the first level.

The rooms are really big & nice. Bathroom is very good. Location walkable to metro & Grand Bazaar. Few things I did not like all which makes me give poor ratings is 1) Towels are worn out & torn 2) Bedsheets were torn in one place 3) There is no elevator & have to use stairs though the manager helps with luggage 4) Showergel had terrible smell & products not good. If they improve the 4 itema listed then its a good hotel.

The property is not exactly what they post on the internet, no communication with customers if they have a problem or not, breakfast is terrible.
They take half of the money from your credit card even if you choose to pay at the property and this will be done without your notice. I’m not staying there again on my next visit and would not recommend the property for anyone. 😡

Super nice staff and good location

It's a family owned business. There's no elevator, but they will help you with luggages. Staffs were friendly and helpful. They would love to provide lots of tips and guidance during our stay. We save a lots of money because of them.

Five star service!

The hospitality and service far exceed our expectations. Starting from check-in, where you will get all info you need about your room and the neighbourhood. The room is spacious, with lots of clean towels. You can have your hot water, put food on fridge, they even provide you plates and eating utensils. Breakfast terrace gives you authentic Turkish view. 24/7 you can have yourself a free cup of coffee and tea. There's laundry anytime you need. We stayed in room 4 , with excellent balcony that shows the street view. Some improvements can be made with the breakfast menu that was same everyday. The hotel unfortunately do not provide elevator. But the staff Mr. Bayram, Mr. Irfan, and Mr. Hidayet is always 24/7 ready to help you with luggages. Would love to come back to this hotel again. Keep up the good work.

Only one central light was working in the bedroom non of the other lights either malfunctioning or no switches to lit the lights
No lifts to upstairs
Greater location to visit the core tourist attractions in the Istanbul old city

Very nice staff; they made every effort to make our stay safe and enjoyable. Location is central to the Grand Bazaar and Tram train. Price is so right that you can’t beat. Upon request they can arrange your pick up and drop to the airport that is least expensive. I’ll recommend and I would book this place for my next trip without any problem.

My only comment would be about the beakfast but they were very accommodating once we got through the language barrier (some words we use trying to explain etc) traditional Turkish breakfast no vegetarian option would not take much to provide other options

The property is at a good location but unfortunately very disappointed that there is no lift, there are apartments up to the 5th floor and you have to take the bags up the stairs. The room was liveable but the bathroom was very small and smelt. Breakfast was on the top floor and was not a buffet style breakfast. Needless to say I won’t be coming back here nor will I be recommending it.

Perfect location. Only 2 blocks from the Grand Bazaar and 2 blocks from the Sea. Had a great view of the Harbor from our balcony. Rooftop breakfast. No elevator, but they help you with luggage. Nice big rooms but small bathrooms. The only drawback is that taxi's cannot drop you off in front of hotel except from 10pm to 10am; otherwise road is closed to cars. We had to walk 2 blocks with luggage to check in. It wasn't bad; it was an experience and we love new experiences when traveling internationally. Shuttle did pick us up a the hotel for departure. Service was outstanding!

Location was close to shops but there were no lifts and the hotel on 6levels so it’s not recommended for elderly or families with young kids,there is a traffic restrictions to those roads between 10-6 pm so it’s extra hard to get a taxi pick up or drop off (you have to walk to the adjacent Main Street which always busy )

the property is located in the heart of the city where you can walk around any time,i dont have any complains about the property or the owner and staff.

Just got back from a 7 night stay at Oban Suites. It was a lovely place to stay because the staff were very helpful and caring. However there are a few areas that can be improved. For example the breakfast was boring and repetitive as we ate same thing all week. I did raise this however there were no improvements made. Breakfast was very basic, I was expecting a buffet of some sort at least.

Secondly, due to the busy street location and a shoe factory next door to the hotel we couldn't sleep. The factory workers worked til late and started very early around 7am. If noise doesn't bother you then that's good for you but it was an issue for us!

However, the location was perfect and so convenient as it was very close to the Grand bazaar. The Metro was very close by and main points of interests like the Blue mosque and Ayah Sofia are 10 minutes walk.

hotel run by staff who care about you the guest.

They give you tips and advice so you can enjoy your break and get around comfortably.

They even gave us a business card with manager number in case we encountered any difficulties.

everything very close by even for us a family of 5, 2 adults 3 children aged 11, 8 and 2 was very easy . we did everything in 5 days

Top hotel in the Old City close to main areas

Very good hotel in the old city walking distance away from main attractions such as grand bazaar, blue mosque, haga sophia.

Rooms are decent size with fridge and balcony. Toilets/shower is clean and of decent size.
Staff are very friendly.
Two managers of the hotel are great people who make the hotel feel like home. (Even helped taking our suitcases from hotel to where the car was parked.)

Overall very satisfied with what we got for the money we paid. Definitely recommend!

It was great experience, the staff was welcoming and friendly. We arrived at about 1:30am and the staff provided us some breakfast in the room. They showed the tourist attractions on the map and gave us the directions and also explained where to get the travel cards for trams and underground. The staff helped us with to find the food places too. In short they were very helpful and co-operative.

So here is the thing, although, this hotel was not all that we had anticipated, but our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids stayed quite comfortably for a week in this hotel. The room was quite a good size for a family of 4. The bathroom was very small ( I guess we are used to bigger bathrooms). It was a family owned business so we were given and treated very well for the duration of our stay at this hotel. Mr. Bayram, who was usually our focal point of contact and went out of his way to make our stay very comfortable, he helped us with local guidance and tips, offered us tea and coffee every time he saw us around, and made sure our room was well equipped at all times. Mr. Hidayat ( I believe the owner of the establishment) was also very friendly and very helpful in every way.
Listen, here is the thing, if you are looking for luxury franchise hotel, and where you are treated as a room number this is not the one for you. This is a family establishment, small, but comfortable, and budget friendly. They offer breakfast daily which is a traditional Turkish breakfast (2 different kinds of cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, bread, honey, etc, it is the same every day, so perhaps one suggestion would be to offer a variety of items for breakfast at least every other day or so.
The local area is great for foodies. 5 minute walk to the Tram and Grand Bazaar and about a 15-20 minute walk (depending on your pace) to the Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cisterne and other attractions.

Very very helpful staff and great location. Average breakfast. Room was clean, very good size and comfortable but the. Atheism although cleaned thoroughly everyday wasn't excellent as the water from the shower was difficult to dean and the water leaked out on the bathroom floor. Apart from this minor issue everything was great. I will surely recommend it.

Staff n Managers are very friendly and they are ready for help all time. Our room was on first floor plus hotel is in Market so it was bit noisy. The location of the hotel is prime in city, I recommend it for a budget holiday good option to chose, value of money.

Abbiamo prenotato una camera con 4 letti (coppia + 2 bambini) e piccolo angolo cuttura, per 3 notti. La struttura e' situata in una posizione comoda - davvero 10 minuti da Moschea Blu ecc - ma l'edificio e' fatiscente, la stanza e bagno vecchi e sporchi. In tre giorni, la nostra stanza non e' stata mai riordinata ne' pulita ne' i letti sono stati rifatti dal personale. Dalle foto sul sito e le recensioni ci aspettavamo tutt'altro servizio. Il costo delle stanze a notte e' stato SPROPOSITATO rispetto al servizio. Sconsigliato.

Boendet ligger mitt i smeten på gott och ont. Du har nära till Grand Bazar och gamla stan men det är inget boende för dig som vill ha det tyst under natten.
Rummen är stora och rymliga, frukosten helt ok men inte så varierande..Det som höjer betyget är det trevliga bemötandet och hjälpen man får från personalen.

Super Lage mit tollen Ausblick

Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Es werden einem Tipps gegeben und geholfen wo es nur geht. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber ausreichend zum Start am Morgen. Es gibt leider keinen Aufzug aber Hr. Irfan der Manager trug uns die Koffer persönlich hoch. Das Hotel hat eine super Lage weil die wichtigste Verbindung (Straßenbahn T1) zu den Hauptattraktionen ist in 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Der Große Bazar ist auch in der Nähe obwohl uns davon abgeraten wurde da etwas zu kaufen. Insgesamt sehr süße nette Unterkunft wenn man ein paar Tage in Istanbul ist. Gerne wieder.

Hotel proche de la mosquée bleue a pied ou en tram, commerce et restaurant a proximité.
Personnel accueillant et bien informer sur la ville (ne pas hésiter a leur demander).
Seul bémol le petit déjeuner unique pour tous dommage qu'il n'y est pas de self service
