Great stuff! Very helpful. Hotel is located in central area, close to Blue Mosque Central Bazaar. Next door is 3 restaurants, with really good food and reasonable prices. Hotel offers great breakfast with coffee, cappuccino, late, tea varieties. Check out is noon, plenty of time to go out in the morning. Coffee and teas also available at rooms.

The reception staff and cleaner is amazing, polite and speaks amazing English.

Always accessible, if of need of anything.

Only downfall was the outside noise, from the street! Couldn’t sleep. The internet wasn’t the best either, besides from this great hotel!

we booked an economy double room but at first, they show us a room with a small bed. and give us the option of renting a standard room with a double bed. we paid additive 300 TL in order to have a double bed. The next day we found out there is another economy room with a double bed but they didn't show us at first in order to get more money.
The bathroom door doesn't close properly and the toilets had a bad smell. we were 2 but they put 1 water.
we are not satisfied at all with Bizim otel and also hotels.com that didn't pay proper attention to my email.

The staff at Bizim Otel were really nice, they always ensured we were happy and were always willing to help us.
The location of the hotel was amazing, with everything being walking distance- markets nearby, mosques, and the main tourist attractions.
The hotel room was very clean and the AC worked very well.
The hotel is quite small compared to other nearby ones however you feel safe and it is very nice. The only negative I would say is that during our 7 day stay, our hotel room wasn’t cleaned for us. The bin was really small and we would have to empty it every day, and when we needed more toilet roll we would have to find it. We aren’t messy people so this wasn’t too bad however it would have been nice to have the room hoovered/ bin emptied/ shower gel and toilet roll replaced when needed.

Everywhere we wanted to go, we could walk to from Bizim Otel. When we bought too many things at Grand Bazzar, it was easy to come to hotel, leave everything and go back shopping. Location was great. Hotel was clean and very well maintained.

I chose this location because it was in walking distance to the Grand Bazaar. Everyone was very friendly, the place was clean and also had free breakfast. It’s about a 45 min drive from the new Istanbul airport, without traffic. If you want to be in the center of it all, stay here. Lots to see and do around the property.

Stay at Bizim Otel in Istanbul

my stay was good and the hotel is centrally based and closer to places such as the Grand Bazar, restaurants and shops. the only 2 complaints I have is the surrounds - the surrounding shops were very untidy (threw boxes on the street and closer to the Hotel), 2nd one is the noise levels from the Mosque at night - this kept me awake during my 3 night stay at the hotel.

The hotel itself was very good, clean and overall of high standards. However the room was very small and the shower was very very small - just about manageable. A large person will definitely not be able to fit inside! However there were odd fault such as the hair dryer stand was taped to the wall and the wires were visible. It was also located above the sink which could be very dangerous. We had no complementary water for the duration of our stay and we were only given one tea and one one coffee when there was two occupants in the room. I had to always ask them for one. Other than that, they were extremely helpful and very informative, very willing to offer advice on tours and excursions. They hotel staffs were exceptional and helped us with our luggage - taking it in and out of the hotel and a short walk to the our taxi. Unfortunately the location was not that great. Taxis were not able to come directly to our hotel due to road restrictions and there was construction work taking place in the same street which was very noisy. The street was very dirty too.

Good but BE WARE WITH THE LOCAL ROAD CLOTURE.

The Hotel was good, just they didn't mention that the local roads closes at certain time daily so no cars or taxi enter the street, we had a very hard time to reach to the hotel as he Taxi dropped us on a random street, we got help by locals. make sure that you clarify this point with them.

Negative: in an awkward side street which is full of shoe shops, end of the street there are two resturants who fight each other to try and make you eat from there everytime you walk past.

Hotel Istanbul close to Grand Bazaar

The location of the hotel is excellent. very close to a tram station and the Grand Bazaar, and amazingly quiet. A nearby mosque will call to prayer loudly though at 6:15 AM. The rooms are very clean, pleasant. Mine had a terrace. There is a working elevator. The room had a tea kettle with tea and coffee.
There was a phone but it did not really work. The bathroom has hooks on the wall, a pleasant rarity in Turkey. The closet was small. There was always hot water available.
The biggest draw back was the fact that the staff barely speaks English. this would make matters very difficult in case of special requests or any conflict.

Very close to grand bazaar, friendly stuf, good wireless. On the same street are many restaurants. Room was small, but very clean and cozy. The view was ugly, on the back yard, ask for room with view on the street. Also very affordable, I stay în istanbul many times and this hotel was the best price/confort ratio.

On a side street 8-9 minuite walk to Blue mosque

We had an amzing time in Istanbul just got back on saturday.... the hotel itself ws nice but the rooms are a bit small,we had the smoking room with a door to the street view.The shower cubicle is tiny but its ok u gt wat u need, we was out most of the day, just use 2 cm to sleep and an hour rest during the day. The young lad on a night shift was very helpful carrying our suitcase up and then back to the car when we left.

Clean room, but overall disappointing stay

After reading many good reviews I thought this would be a good hotel to stay at. However I was very disappointed. I knew the room would be small as other reviews had said. The breakfast was very minimal, with limited choice, the staff would clear your plates as soon as they thought you had finished. The breakfast consisted of some bread, cheese, olives, a limited selection of cereals, and other traditional Turkish food. The electricity in our room went on two seperate occasions. Some members of staff were polite and helpful, however there were a few that were very rude.We had an incident when a member of staff knocked on our door and before I could get up and answer the door he had scanned himself into the room! He wanted to check the mini bar but this was unacceptable!! That was not the only time they had entered our room without permission. We had asked to use an iron and an ironing board (which they only seem to have one of in the building) we had forgotten to give it back to reception, so whilst we were out they invited themselves into our room and took it back. We didn't feel safe, comfortable or happy in the room after that. We were also asked not to wash our own clothes in the room for some reason and all we were doing was rinsing out the clothes with water as it was very hot! There was a lot of maintenance work going on and it was very noisy.The room didnt have a duvet just a sheet for sleeping.

location location location!

The best thing about the hotel is it's location. You want to stay close to main road with Tram. It is very close to the grand bazaar, 10 min walk to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace, Hagai Sophia and many other tourist locations in the old part of Istanbul. A lot of food places. We told the train and tram from and to the airport for 8TL per person. Internet service was very good, room was very clean and cleaned everyday. I was traveling to another city and I was able to leave most of my luggage with no problem for 2 days. Free breakfast was also adequate and freshly prepared. Only drawbacks, the room was very tight, only one side to get in the bed, firm mattress, 2 single mattresses used on a double bed. I would stay again if the price is as good as what I paid.

Single rooms are tiny. The cleaning staff needed to be reminded by me twice to change my towels, clean the room etc. perfectly lovely ladies but not particularly attentive to doing the job on a consistently daily basis of my 6 day stay. The young men who were temporary workers at the hotel (holiday jobs for them) were really nice and polite and helpful. Their bosses, the managers, were more varied - some not very helpful, some quite rude, others satisfactory. Breakfast unimaginative and basic. All in all, a very satisfactory hotel but certainly not of the 4 star rating that it claims.

Great hotel!

Hotel was either new or recently renovated. It is very near the Grand Bazaar and walking distance from Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, and Saltahamet Square. No taxi or car required. Hotel is on a street with a shoe factory across the street and many fabric retailers. This did not pose any problem and we actually enjoyed seeing them accomplish their work.

The hotel was very clean, staff was always helpful and really friendly, speaking good English. Though the rooms are small- just like in most of the hotels in Istanbul center, they are new, nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, the room facilities include minibar, daily provided tea-bag and coffee, electric kettle. Breakfast is delicious. The inner soundproofing could be better, but there were no noisy guests around, and the windows' soundproofing was good. Strong Wifi. It is central located, close to many places of interest and Beyazit tram station, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia within 10 min walk. Highly recommended.

The hotel is right next to major attractions... Grand bazar, walking distance to blue mosque etc. This was our first time in Istanbul and they made it very comfortable. Its a well renovated or may be brand new facility. It was extremely clean. Breakfast is amazing. Please note that hotel rooms in this area are on the smaller side, so expect that.

Above all, the location of the hotel, situated in a few steps from the Grand Bazaar and in close proximity to the other attractions, makes it ideal for travelera. Im großen ganzen okay, aber Toilettenschloss kaputt. Zu laute Gegend , man kann zwischen 10-18 nicht mit dem Auto nicht hinfahren weil die Innenstadt gesperrt ist. Wenn man vor dem Hotel parkt, muss man bis 10 Uhr wegfahren, irgendwo in einem Parkhaus parken und laufen. Wobei die Hotels in der Nähe sind alle so.
