The shower and toilet was broke. This place is not even close as advertised. And the breakfast is not good. I visit Istanbul often and this is not the place I will go back to.
I am very unhappy. They did switch the Room after the first night. But that room had a water leakage from the sink the last 3 days. The staff is nice. But the place I would not recommend. They said they would give me a refund yet I’m still waiting and got nothing.

Room- part of the baseboard was coming apart, the shower stall need recaulking and the door lock cover is missing- the batteries are exposed. The hallways have floor tiles that are loose and I saw holes in the wall.

Staff members are nice and helpful. But the property is pure example of misleading. Images are not what you see when you arrive. Old buildings, dark room for up to 5th floor (No daylight at all for three people sleeping rooms). Broken and non functional faucets, fridges and electric kettles. Stained blankets, broken floor tiles with trip hazard. Elevator function is on and off. Two times out of service in a week of stay. DO NOT TRUST PICTURES AND 5 STAR REVIEWS.

I can’t say anything bad about the staff, they are very helpful. but the property itself is not what you see in the images. It was a very stunning modern hotel, remarkable service and unbeatable value. Rooms are beautiful, and have plenty of space for you to relax. Perfectly located with tons of walking dining and shopping options and very easy to visit all the local beautiful sites. We got upgraded to a bigger room on the first day and we were more than happy. We loved our stay. Breakfast is your traditional Turkish style breakfast and rooms were cleaned everyday. Sakia at the front desk was lovely and she helped us with all our requests very efficiently. Thank you for making us feel welcome, would definitely come back for an actual tourist trip rather than a medical trip.

I recently stayed at Kupeli Hotel for 6 nights with my underage child. I was expecting a larger room, but it felt quite small and uncomfortable. The window had a wall right behind it, so there was no real ventilation and it looked strange. I requested that my air conditioning be fixed, but unfortunately no one addressed the issue during my stay. The breakfast was very standard and never changed, which became repetitive.

On the positive side, the reception staff seemed friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. However, overall the experience did not meet my expectations

Overall a great place to stay. It’s close enough to the tourist spots without feeling too congested. The tram stop is also about 4 mins away which will take you through most of the city. The hotel buffet is nice and better than what you find here in the states. The staff is really helpful, they offered us umbrellas the day it was raining. I would stay here again.

A small hotel which is a walking distance to all the main tourist attraction. A tram stop is close by. We got looked after by kadir and would help us with any issues we had. Adam is a great lad and very jolly, the rooms was clean and made up everyday with no issues. Breakfast was the standard turkish breakfast which we was happy with. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come back to stay at the hotel again.

Very average. You can find way better hotels for that price. Photos don’t look accurate to how it actually looks like. There was mold in the shower. It’s also impossible to get a taxi in and out of the hotel, I had to walk to another hotel with two bags. The neighborhood isn’t nice either.

Whilst the hotel is quite small and lacking a lot of facilities and amenities that bigger more expensive hotels offer, it is very god value for the money you are paying and the quality of what is on offer, is good.

Stayed here for 3 nights with family, at first we were little unease with the room and Sheesha place downstairs and music playing but didn’t bother at all. Staff are very helpful and at the service straight away, especially Kadir! Nothing is a problem with him, he’ll get it sorted straight away which was lovely! No issues at all staying here, very safe at all times and great location!!!

Hotel is located perfectly in the middle of pretty much everything from restaurants downstairs on the strip or supermarkets. Short 5-6mins to blue mosque and Hagia Sofia mosque. Grand bazaar is literally 4mins walk towards tramline, further down to Galato tower bridge and so on.. would recommend staying here as didn’t need any transportation other than transfer to airport and back, everything is so easy to navigate too and from the hotel, you’ll be amazed how everything is so close to each other.

Situated right between the Grand Bazaar and Sultanahmet, nearly all the main sights are within walking distance. Those that aren't, the tram is a few minutes walk away. There are restaurants and bars outside the door, with others a short walk. The staff are great and will help with everything. Rooms are small but have what you need. Request one out the back, as the street can get very noisy late into the night.

- Great Location, close to tourist attractions, tram line and restaurants
- Some of the breakfast food such as sausages and scrambled egg was nice

Negatives:
- Muliple power cuts occured throughout the stay
- Lift very slow and not working at times
- On one occasion, room not cleaned properly and items not replenished
- Had to request extra items such as pillows, iron and iron board. Gave broken iron on the first day.
- When requesting more items, sometimes it took a long time to get what was asked for from reception. Sometimes reception didnt pick up the phone.
- Some of the breakfast food such as breads was always hard
- Incident. The floor of the hotel lobby was wet after they had mopped and there was no wet floor sign. My wife slipped and almost fell over because of this.
- Fan in the bathroom makes too much noise.
- Wifi wasnt very good. Slow upload and download speeds. Took a very long time to send pictures and videos to family. Went offline on a couple of occasions. Wasnt able to connect to Wifi in the hotel lobby.
- Incident. Cleaner came into room without being invited in.

This boutique hotel is compact in nature but clean and perfect for a base. It is close to the tram line and historic sites but beware the steep streets - a great workout! The lady on reception is very friendly and helpful, we had a map on arrival and she showed us where we were and where the sites were. She also recommended a couple of places for food. There is a little shop opposite with essentials, cold drinks etc Breakfast was not a highlight for us but it all depends what you are used too. Starbucks is a short walk up the steep street!

The location was amazing and right in the middle of all the main tourist spots. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean however the ceiling light wasn't working in one of the two rooms we had, though all the lamps and other ambient lights were fine. The rooms were a lot smaller than they looked in the pictures.We had two connecting rooms.

The area around the hotel was steep, and diffult to climb, which made it inconvenient and tiring for me. The restaurant around in the area closed early, which made it hard to find affordable food after a long day of tours therefore inconvenient for tourists. The hotel itself was okay. The staff was fairly friendly and helpful, however communication was the issue, not only in the hotel but everywhere during our trip in turkey. Inside the hotel, the beds were uncomfortable and made sound, the area was noisey, no iron press for clothes, the AC was also loud. However, we did enjoy the breakfast service and the food was delicious.

This is a small hotel located near the Grand Bazar. Very good location with restaurants next door and within easy walking distance. Staff is young and attentive. The complimentary breakfast probably had 25-30 different dishes to choose from. I stayed at a Hilton Hotel in the USA with an upgrade to the private business dining room. The quality and freshness of their food was not even comparable to this small boutique or the care they put into presentation.

The hotel was clean and in a good location which made it easy to explore the area.
Good breakfast with a variety of options to start the day right.
The staff, Zakiya and Kadir, were incredibly friendly and gave us valuable advices on local attractions.
They helped me to store my luggage early, before checking in and on the last day, after checking out, to explore the city further.
I would definitely recommend Kupeli to anyone looking for a clean, well-located hotel with excellent service and facilities.

Very near to famous attractions like Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. the hotel staff are helpful. On the last day, one of the staff helped us to call taxi to airport. Originally we booked a cab thru Uber but the taxi didnt show up, he helped us to call the uber driver and messaged the driver. In the end, the staff helped us to book a taxi at cheaper rate. Small boutique hotel in the Heart of Sulthanamet. Great friendly and helpful staff Kadir made our stay really enjoyable. We arrived early and he recommends us to check the surroundings near the metro and left our luggages With him while our room was prepared. It was Turkey’s 100th Anniversary of its founding of the republic and a Sunday as well as a national holiday. So lots of people was out.

Room was adequate, clean With comfy bed. With electric kettle and refridgerator. AC needs to be cleaned though as kind of noisy. What we can say was a generous selection of Food for breakfast and tasty too, more than we expected.

He assisted in calling a yellow Taxi for us to Istanbul International AirPort for 800 Turkish liras but the Taxi driver scammed us upon arrival at the AirPort for 200 Turkish liras more since he used the toll to avoid traffic though we are not in a rush.

Highly recommended if you are on a budget.
