Booked a single room with city view. Was put into a basement room with no window on arrival. Key card wasn't' working and manual key was so awkward James Bond would have struggled to get into the room. Safe in the room was also out of action. Hotel looks nothing like the photos on website. Massively disappointing.

The staff are supper friendly and very helpful. They are very happy to assist the guests. For instance, they allowed me to check out an hour late and was able to arrange my transfer last minute at a cheaper rate than the locals. When I wanted to take tablets at night I called the reception and the guy was very helpful and bought me water to my room. They are exceptional and they honestly made my stay very warm and welcoming. Thank you. Also the location is 10/10 literally walking distance to everywhere.

1. Staff communication skills are poor due to language barrier.
2. Looking after the customer request is beyond our dreams! I have reported in my first hour that the safe is not working as the battery dead and the room phone doesn’t work also. My three days stay over and no one attended.
3. Ladies staff handling the breakfast (which is already poor) were rude.

Initially booked to stay at the Grand Naki Hotel for 3 night of a 11 night stay in Istanbul. I was very impressed with the service received from the hotel staff. The room we were given was too small so we asked if we could change we were immediately offered a bigger room without any fuss. Ulvi and Jabir on reception were brilliant and went over and beyond to helped us with all our needs. We decided to stay at the hotel for our whole 11 days. It’s a great hotel and won’t hesitate to stay here again.

In general everything is fine, the most important for me was cleanliness and good location.I liked the hotel in terms of cleanliness and hygiene.There are many alternative restaurants around.One minute walk to tram (T1) line. About 6 -7 minutes to historical places Aya sofia, Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and Topkapi.Staff very friendly i recommend to everyone

We stayed here as 4 friends and the location is perfect for the sites in sultan ahmet and the grand bazaar. The staff especially Sefa and Ulvi were very polite and helpful 24 hours a day and accommodated every request.

Poor service! Don’t take the shuttle to Airport unless you have loads of time to get to Airport it has loads of stops and it took us around 2 hours to get to Airport. Better book outside a yellow cab.

UNACCEPTABLE ROOM CONDITIONS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

The guys at the reception were rude and uneducated, know nothing about customer service, the rooms were a disaster, the toilet stinks and the carpet was loose at the entrance of the room. WE HAVE TO CHANG THE ROOM TWICE. The wifi was terrible.

The hotel was in a great location. Walking distance to all main sight seeing sights.
The room was tidy and clean but very very small. If you were 2 large people you would have difficulty moving around the bed. The bathroom was modern and clean. The breakfast fine.
Their communication was terrible.. .. The hotel never answered 1 of my 5 emails. I needed to be sure that the transfer was organized. But i couldn't be sure. Because they never got back to me.
As predicted there was no one to collect us

Met my expectations across the board

Great room service delivered in timely manner. Room kept clean throughout my starting and bed sheets changed whenever requested. Comfortable bedding and pillows and adequate air-conditioning - not too cold and not warm - bathroom equipped with air ventilation (which I, quite frankly, did not expect).

The breakfast has variety of foods for different tastes and is served freshly every morning.

Staff very helpful and Mr. Izzat, the hotel manager, is there most part of the day helping out with whatever needed.

Great location - only a 2 minute walk from metro station. Plenty of restaurants around the area, if interested in Turkish food.
I definitely recommend Grand Naki Hotel for the above

Great modern hotel with good location!

Grand Naki was a modern and clean hotel, our best choice during our trip in Turkey. I absolutely love the breakfast and the nuts they provide! The room was clean and comfortable with windows, and brightly lit. Toilet was clean and with glass doors to separate wet and dry areas. Very satisfied with this hotel! Highly recommend!

Good location rubbish service

Booked 2 rooms 201 & 304. First of all i booked a transfer with the hotel which did not turn up at the airport this was not the best start. I got to the hotel and was greeted by 2 employees who looked friendly but unfortunately did not understand english at all so complaining about the transfer was like talking to a brick wall. Was finally checked into my room which i booked for 2 adults and 2 children 1 cot needed for my 1yr old, as i got to my room it was 3 single beds an i was told that i may not get the travel cot this really angered me as it was essential for my son to sleep in when i asked for my money back to booked another hotel the employee brought one up within 5minutes. I then asked for the two single beds to be put together to make one bed this took 25minutes to explain till it got done. My room 304 toilet handle came off as soon i tried opening the door, plug socket was loose which was dangerous for my son this took 24hours to fix. Room 201 which i booked for my parents was supposed to be a double room also turned out to have 3 single beds it toom me 30minutes to explain again that i wanted the 2 single beds turned into one unfortunately this was not done till Wednesday last day of my stay

The manager at the hotel turned up at the hotel after 2 days which was not good as if he was there earlier it would have helped explain the issues i had as his english is better. I did complain about the transfer but nothing was done. Still got alot to say but i have reached l

Just a delightful two night stay. Newer, clean, well appointed, efficiently run and with an extremely helpful staff, I would recommend this hotel for any type of trip. It is within an easy walking distance of most of the major tourist sights.I was returning to the USA from Italy where I stayed in very fine hotels yet the Grand Naki was overall the best hotel of my two an a half week journey.

My experience with this hotel was very good. In Sultanahmet located, very convenient and close to the good public transport, although it in rush hours was too crowded, but you can explore everywhere with in it. What we like most was the people that work in the hotel, they was friendly, polite e very attentive with all informations we needed. 10 marcs for them. Price reasonable for Australian money. Make our life very easy to our final days in Turkey more specifically in Istambul.

Hotel Grand Naki is just a 5 minute walk from both Sultanahmet square and The Grand Bazaar, so location is excellent. The room was quite small but clean and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast was adequate, but I'm not a big breakfast person so coffee and a couple of mini croissant was enough for me. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. We would stay here again if we returned to Istanbul.

When we first entered the room, it's very smelly. At first it smells like smoke and then later on during our stay there's a really bad smell coming from the toilet/washroom. The room is small but comfortable. It gets a little noisy during the night and in the early morning since our windows are by the street.
When we first checked in, we were told that there's a problem in our room and they transferred us to another hotel nearby. The staff that checked us in has a little attitude on us and he didn't even apologize for the inconvenience that caused us. The next day we had to bring our luggages from one hotel to the other and the staff in the morning which is way better, he greeted us and apologized to us about the room. He's the only staff that's being friendly to us. The day when we leave the hotel charged us 30 Euro for the private car they sent to pick us up from the airport. First of all, I didn't ask for a private car, instead I asked if the hotel offer hotel shuttle and they sent us to some random person and then the random person sent us to another random person who directed us to the driver which comes 15 minutes after. The hotel didn't communicated with us about the charge at all and we didn't know the car that they sent wasn't a hotel shuttle.They charged us the fee when we checkout and if I don't like the fact that they didn't tell us ahead of time about the charges or fee for the shuttle. Again, the same staff was giving us attitude and we were not happy about it

I had a very bad experience at this hotel. For the price I paid, which I personally found expensive, I expected much better. The only time I saw water was the size of a thumbprint when I arrived; otherwise, guests are expected to sort out water themselves.

Additionally, the bed was absolutely covered in hair—so much that I had to go down and complain. The receptionist came up and explained it was from the cleaning staff, which is unacceptable.

I was also promised breakfast delivered to my room as I was recovering from surgery. However, I didn’t receive breakfast even once during my stay.

This hotel is absolutely trash. Avoid it

Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Check-In und Check-Out gingen in sekundenschnelle. Kaffee und Wasser konnte man jederzeit sich unten mitnehmen. Das Frühstück war leider jeden Tag nur Rührei und Weißbrot mit Aufschnitt. Sehr unangenehm war allerdings das Wasser aus den Leitungen. Es hatte einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch und Geschmack. In umliegenden Hotels oder Bars war das nicht der Fall, dies konnte ich testen, da noch Freunde in der Umgebung waren. Hier ist es notwendig sich Wasser in den nahliegenden Geschäften zu kaufen und es zum Zähneputzen zu nutzen. Die Minibar war defekt und es war nur ein winziger Mülleimer im Badezimmer vorhanden. Leider wurden auch mehrmals die Woche Anlieferungen im Nebengebäude angeliefert, dies dauerte immer 1-2Std und hat für hunderte hupende Autos gesorgt. Nur zum Übernachten ist es okay.

Totally overwhelmed.
If you wanna come to Istanbul THIS is a place for you.
Location is awesoooome, in 3-4 minutes you are right next to Aya Sofia.
Receptionists, kitchen (breakfast) and cleaning crew are doing their job on very high level.
Romms are soooo clean and very modern.
(I was in a single room with Balcony).
I will visit Istanbul again, and I know where to come 👌

Bonjour,sur l’annonce de l’hôtel, le parking était marqué gratuit. Cependant quand on est arrivé la personne qui nos à accueilli, nous a annoncé qu’il n’y a à pas de parking. Je suis très déçu car à cause de cela j’ai rencontré beaucoup de problèmes. Ils m’ont placé la voiture dans un parking, le lendemain j’ai retrouvé 2 amendes...De plus un personnel m’a demandé 40tn afin d’enlever les amendes. Je lui ai donné, mais il n’a rien fait...

Все очень понравилось, вкусные сытные завтраки, доброжелательный и внимательный персонал, предложили улучшенный номер вместо забронированного за ту же стоимость , комплименты в виде кофе, чая и пирога, в номере тепло , чисто и удобно. Обязательно приедем ещё, рекомендуем всем!

I loved Grand Naki Hotel

The hotel was well above expectation.Very decent and historical places are very close.The view of the hotel and the rooms were very nice.I think it's a new 3 4 years old hotel.Rooms were tidy and clean.Our rooms were cleaned everyday they left new sheets and new towels.24 hours tea, coffee and cookies service(free😀).The lobby is large and comfortable and there are seating chairs in front of the hotel.Staff great to believe friendly.They are name Sefa and Ülvi.try to be friendly with them, it will be very good for you and they will be helpful in all matters.Everything is great, I will recommend it to all my friends

Kaldığım oda tek kişilik. Standart olarak olması gereken her şey mevcut yalnız elbise dolabı yok. Askılık var sadece. Ayrıca oda hakikaten çok küçük, hele banyo. Odanın içinde büyük valiz açamazsınız. Kahvaltı tabağı standart. Otele gelişimde odaya kadar kimse eşlik etmedi. 5 gün kaldım otelde. Sultan Ahmet'e 10 dk yürüme mesafesinde. İstanbul'u gezmek için gelmiştim. Neredeyse sadece uyumaya gidiyordum otele. O yüzden çok kasmadım.

La localización es muy buena y centrica a 5 minutos andando de la mezquita azul y aya sofia.
Lo que NO gustó:
Al llegar el recepcionista estaba medio dormido y quejandose del calor y de dolores de espalda. Nos atendió mal. La habitación no tiene nada que ver con las fotos, es mucho más pequeña y la ropa de cama sucia mi mujer se negó a dormir en tal suciedad. Al quejarnos y pedir cambio no nos han ofrecido ninguna solución y nos dijieron que la ropa de cama estaba \"bien\" y que la habian cambiado. Total, salimos a comprar nuestras propias sabanas para no discutir más con el personal. El día que nos ibamos, le pedimos que nos pida un taxi fue cuando el recepcionista llamo a un taxista conocido suyo y ahí empezó otra historia para olvidar de nuestra estancia en este hotel (la nota que colmó el vaso). El taxista que llamo ya de entrada queria cobrarnos mucho más de lo que normalmente cuesta el trayecto al aeropuerto. Al quejarnos y decirle que el precio es excesivo y que sabemos cuanto cuesta, cogió el telefono y llamo a su amigo el recepcionista y como alternativa (para ahorrar costes) no se le ocurrió otra idea que llevarnos por otro camino (en vez de coger el tunel rapido que sale más caro el hombre por su cuenta decidió que era mejor idea cruzar el bosforo en Barco y luego ir por otro camino y asi ahorrase no sé cuanto en gasoil. Total, con miedo de perder nuestro avión ya no discuté más con el, al final nos llevó al arpuerto haciendo ralley dakar. En fin, lamentable.

Das Zimmer war sauber, Was für uns sehr wichtig ist da wir mit dem Baby unterwegs waren. Uns wurde auch Babybett angeboten, das war lieb.
Das Hotel befindet sich zentral- man kann zu Fuß zum Pazar oder Blaue Moschee gehen.
Was für uns auch wichtig war- Hotel hat eigenes Parkplatz.
Generell war alles gut und sehr sauber
