The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive at Primero Hotel. We were made to feel like welcomed family!! The location is perfect to explore Istanbul and within walking distance to the major sites. I was welcomed wonderfully by Azer who gave me a brief introduction to Istanbul.

The location of the hotel was very cool, blended in the deep streets of Istanbul and in proximity of some of the most beautiful attractions as well transit services to make commuting around the city easy.

The room was perfect for a solo traveller like myself. It was cozy, clean, and reliable.

The included breakfast was probably my favourite part. It was a clean room, well set up, and perfect variety of food and drink options to kickstart your adventures.

Finally, the hotel was kind enough to store my luggage while I completed my last day in the city despite checking out early.

Overall, the location, staff, and amenities made my stay very enjoyable and provided me with great rest and recovery to be able to explore Istanbul. Highly recommend this hotel fo solo travellers, couples, and even families.

Thank you to all the staff for your wonderful service, I will be back Insha’Allah!

Location: The hotel is in great location. Its walking distance from many historical places. Lots of restaurants and other eating places nearby to choose from.
Staff: Helpful and accommodating staff I must say.
Rooms: We had a superior room but we felt it was small, with a double bed there was hardly any room to move. It was also a bit noisy at night. We could hear people taking in neighboring rooms and traffic noise outside which was a little annoying while trying to sleep.

Primero hotel is extremely convenient to several attractions nearby, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Grand Bizarre. My mother is older and although the walk to grand bizarre was all uphill she navigated it easily. There are numerous food options nearby. The thing that stood out the most besides how clean the hotel was was the staff. They were friendly and professional and attended to our every request.

Fabulous Istanbul

Hotel is very well located near main attractions. Plenty of local restaurants in the area and tramway is just up the street. Rooms are on the small size for North American standards but we still managed on our 5 day stay.

Suggestion for the hotel. Add additional hooks in bathroom as well as a few shelves for storage to make the best usage of space.

I was travelling with a family of four in the family room. While the room was a bit tight for four people and luggage, the staff service was outstanding.
My husband needed to have his glasses fixed and the staff was able to expedite having it repaired. All 5 of our luggage was lost and the staff was helpful in calling the airlines on multiple occasions to retrieve them back. We had to have laundry done due to the lost luggage and the staff helped out with that as well.
Breakfast was great with a nice variety of options.
The hotel was close to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Gran Bazaar and with MANY restaurant and shopping options.
Would highly recommend.
We did have some electrical issues in the room but we were able to deal with it.

The staff always greeted us with a smile and offered to assist with our baggage, dinner reservations, or any excursions that might do during our travel.

The hotel was super convenient to everywhere we wanted to be. There was no need for a taxi, and just wear comfortable sneakers!!

Our sincere Thanks goes to Vegsel, Belut and Rashad for taking their time to provide info. regarding tours, transportation and also giving us a great discounts on some of the tourist attraction like Hamam Bath, Bursa Tours and shopping etc.

I could say that we really enjoyed our stay in Istanbul and also this place is really closer to most of the attraction like grand bazar, blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi place and to cruise lines etc.(6 to 10 min. walking distance to most of the attraction).

My 5-year and I spent 24 hours in Istanbul and had the pleasure to stay at Primero Hotel. Even though the reviews were excellent, we were still pleasantly surprised by the quality, comfort and good looks of this boutique hotel. Our bed was super comfy and the room just smelled so nice, and our bathroom was well appointed with plush towels. Overall a very nice, modern hip feel.
The breakfast was incredible, what a spread! It was a mix of Turkish food and an American breakfast, served buffet style, wonderfully fresh and so tasty.
The area is super central also, walking distance to all the tourist attractions and sights: Grand Bazaar, Haga Sophia, Blue Mosque, tons of pretty plazas and parklets, plenty of restaurants and convenience stores and we felt very safe walking back at 11 at night.
Our host at check-in was also so kind and extremely helpful, we just can’t wait to be back and staying for an extended period here!

Love this place mainly because of the service, staffs were very nice. Special thanks to Omer who made our stay memorable. He surprised my husband with a birthday cake without us telling him it was his birthday. Surely he must have found out from his passport but both me and hubby were surprised by his nice gesture. Great choice for visiting Istanbul

Booked this last minute for a 1 day layover in Istanbul. I was very impressed with the hospitality of the hotel. I was greeted as soon as I arrived and offered refreshments. I was also given a map to help orient me with directions on how to see the sights which were close by. Rooms were very clean and updated. I was leaving too early for breakfast though they still offered to have something for me. I had to leave before 5 AM next day but someone was in the hotel lobby to assist me. They had arranged airport shuttle which also arrived promptly (I was a little worried about this part since airport is so far but thankfully it was a seamless process).

I recently stayed at the Primero Hotel, and while it was a good hotel, I must admit that it didn't quite live up to the expectations set by its excellent reviews. The city view room I had was on the smaller side and didn't offer any extraordinary luxuries or memorable features. The included breakfast was good, but it didn't wow me.

On the positive side, the hotel's location was a major plus. It was conveniently close to all the major attractions in town, and I loved that there were plenty of things to see and do within a short 10-minute walk from the hotel. Despite not being particularly luxurious, the Primero Hotel served as a decent base for exploring the city.

Excellent location is the first that comes to my mind about my stay at Primero Istanbul. Free breakfast helps to save time and money: plenty of pastries, coffee, fruits and breakfast stuff. The staff! These are true champions at this hotel, this young guys went out of their way to satisfy whatever I needed. Excellent location and close to nearby amenities. Good value for the money, however a few issues:

1) Breakfast is good, however, one of the cheese packs (small packs served with breakfast) was rotten and when we opened it, it was a disaster and smelled so bad as if there was a dead animal in the breakfast area! we notified them and they took it away but such things should not be served, if anyone ate it - it would have caused a disaster and significant health problems.
2) The AC was not working well in the room, it only worked once and that was about it.
3) The shower head was not working properly.

Overall, the hotel was clean and the location was fantastic but few issues as above which need attending for better customer satisfaction.

Compact room, full of extras expected in big room.

Location is very good, breakfast is also very good including fresh fruit and hot food. The staff were excellent. In fact every thing was excellent. given the price we paid for the hotel it was defiantly a 10 plus. however please bear in mind the room is compact (as per description). The room is very clean and attended every day. The TV in the room does not have any English channels. 19 \" is just the size of a large laptop. WIFI was good so maybe consider bringing your own laptop.

The Primero Hotel was exceptional. We enjoyed our stay especially the included breakfast which was a Turkish breakfast buffet which was amazing with a wide selection of choices. The hotel room and shower were very nice with new modern features and the cleanliness level was high. It was walking distance to the tram and sites like the Grand Bazaar.

One of the best hotels in Istanbul. The service that my wife and I received here by their staff was beyong expecations. They helped us with our luggage. They brought he free medicine. Helped arranged all our tour guides. Their suites are fully renovated and are super clean and tidy. I will always be staying here for my future trips. Thank you so much to all the staff for making it the perfect stay for us.

Good Stay

The hotel is located a short walk from the main street with shops, eating places, tram stops and main tourist attractions such as Hagia Sofia Grand Mosque. The hotel is small but comfortable. I stayed in a single basement room with breakfast included and it was ideal for my short stay. It was decent value for money. The breakfast was a small spread, mainly Turkish items but was ok. The staff were both friendly and helpful. I would recommend.

The hotel staff are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location-wise it is very close to the public transportation system and historic sights. The only downside for this hotel is small rooms; the rooms are not spacious.
