This hotel is not good very dirty and i booked an smoking room but they said it's forbidden and the 1 staff is quite stupid no towel in the room then i ask he gave 1 only but she knows we are 2 in the room! Its not recommendable hotel i stayed allot different hotels different countries but this is the worse ever!!!

first i booked room with double bed. a month in advance gave us a room with 3 single beds wouold not change it. very little if any hot water heat wouldnt work half the time. black mold in the bath tub shower walls. poor service not friendly cancelled my return stay at this hotel can not return to these conditions. sorry great area about the only good thing to say.

I'm still there, I didn't get the room that I paid for . They denied me my original room and gave me beside the Engine room,which couldn't allow me and my wife to sleep or have peace . They denied us free bottles water,cafe/tea machine and no changing of our bedsheets etc.

Although we got a good price for our rooms and the fact that it is winter, I was disappointed that what was advertised was not available. There was no tea & coffee making facilities in the room, no mini bar and not free bottles of water.

Hotel.com needs to inspect hotels rooms
It was worst expirence. A room in basement with no window ..sticky smell and starting of water motor after every two hour with loud noise .. when asked to change the room it was not done. They said their hotel is under repair.. they then sent me to another hotel which was even more pathetic.. finally they said thatthey can cancel the booking if Iam not happy .. it was difficult to find a replacement on short notice and they knew it ..

Staff at reception are lier. Sent them emails thricely for refund but still no reply. Our rooms were confirmed but denied to check in due to maintenance problem. Gave us refund letter in Turkish language so visitors from other country cannot understand that what's return. Told us that we are unable to give you rooms and keep this letter for proof of refund and now saying that guests cancelled their own. We supposed to check in on 23rd Jul with family after taking long flight and too much tired and hotel roof was leaking with water. Staff not even bothered to compensate in any other hotel and now not refunding our amount. I'll suggest all visitors that not to stay in this hotel. Non cooperative and un trustable staff.

This hotel is your choice only if you're on the budget. It is cheapest around. For one night, but not for relax and enjoying good time. Hotel is attracting travelers mostly from Middle East. They are refused to obey hotel rules and often smoking inside of the room and you may feel that smell.

Terrible hotel, awful staff
This hotel is terrible. We booked a room in SANTA SOPHIA but ended up in another one! When we arrived at Hotel Santa Sophia, they took our passports to start the check-in procedure. After waiting 15-20 minutes, they tell us that they will take us to another hotel because “their rooms are flooded with water due to a piping issue”. First of all, this is extremely unprofessional. They should have told us about this BEFORE they took the passports and checked us in. They kept it from us instead. Second, the staff was rude. They talked as if we don’t have the right to complain or to ask about anything, as if what they did and how they did it was completely acceptable. They sent us to a hotel that was technically in the middle of nowhere, and they wanted to put us in a room with no windows, no toiletries, no towels. They gave us a very hard time because we booked the Economy Room. They said “if you only pay money for the Economy Room, this is what you get and it’s clear on the room description”. I pulled out my phone and showed them the Expedia reservation details and insisted that they did NOT mention that their will be no windows or toiletries or towels. They changed the subject in order not to admit that they scam people. We had a terrible experience. It was our 4th time in Istanbul, specifically in the Sultahahmet area, and all hotels we previously stayed at were amazing. This one was a huge disappointment, we do not recommend it to anyone.

I booked the room for 3 days but i am not happy with this hotel . Tv is not working , shower is very small and not clean, Room has no sound proof , I can hear the people in next room talking. Bed should be for 2 people but it was not. Bed was to small, Quilt was for i person. Water in shower getting cold in a few minutes.OVER ALL I DID NOT LIKE IT . END I DONT RECOMMEND TO ANY BODY.

Our room was next to the tiny lift lobby, and noisy guests waiting for the lift disrupted our peace especially late at night. Make sure you don't get rooms close to the lift lobby.

We did not enjoy our stay here. we booked with expedia with a breakfast but when we got there they said breakfast wasn't included even though we showed them the voucher. They then said we were paying too low anyway and they would refund us and we would have to stay somewhere else. After some convincing, the manager 'agreed' to let us have the room. When we got to the room, it was so small and did not have a window! we felt suffocated and after 2 days of struggling we ended up paying more to have another room with a window. There were a lot of other issues such as drilling sounds throughout the night, staff coming in any time to install ait conditioners without any prior warning and where we would come back to all our things being moved. We had no wifi for the duration of our stay, no heating (they said they had switched it off as they are installing air conditioners) and to top it all we had no duvets - they said they had sent them off for cleaning. I spent my night shivering due to the cold. The hotel is cheap but really not worth it as it can ruin your trip.

First of all there is very limited access for the car to reach front of the hotel. Front road of the hotel is closed from 13:00-18:00 but it's open on public holiday. Hotel staff and ourselves had to drag the luggage to the hotel.

The staff except for one of them were not friendly, they refused to give me the room in which I reserved online claiming that it is out or service. Instead, they give me more expensive room however they gave it to me with a discounted price. There was no free bottled water available unlike what was written in the hotels.com room description. The hotel's room was good, clean and comfortable however the mini-fridge in the room was out of service. the location is relatively good but you need to be prepared for some waking.

We did not enjor our time here at the hotel because the hotel had numerous problems including: glass door broke as we were closing it and had given a family member a few cuts, the wifi was bad, and electricity and water had stopped working, and the last problem was that the same key was able to open multiple doors throughout the hotel.

Nada: Nos metieron en un zulu porque, según nos dijeron, no disponían de más habitaciones. Al día siguiente nos dijeron que para mejorar la habitacion habia que pagar más. Pagamos más y entonces nos dieron a elegir habitación pero en otro hotel. Hotel Atlantis. Este si era más parecido a lo que habíamos contratado inicialmente. Solo que ya nos habían timado en el Santa Sofia. POr supuesto, el \"suplemento\" tuvo que ser en efectivo, preferiblemente en euros. Ojo con esta gente: no son de fiar. Los del Hotel Atlantis, perfectos.

Scelto l'hotel dalle foto, ma andava specificato che le stanze economy erano stanze sotto terra (quindi senza una finestra) con i locali de l'ascensore e dell'autoclave vicino.
Ci è stato proposto di cambiare stanze con un sovraprezzo, ma non è comunque giustificabile il fatto che non vi sia la descrizione delle camere ecomony.

Отель находится в отличном месте, в районе Султанахмета. Это единственный плюс. Мы прилетели ночью в Стамбул, а номер ещё не готов. Когда пошли в номер, оказалось , что он в подвальном помещении и самое ужасное без окон! На ресепшене за 10 евро в день предложили на 2 этаже. Этот номер оказался ещё меньше, чем в цоколе. Комната старая, грязная,постель старая, полотенца сырые и старые. Ванная ужасная. В общем комната грязная и все старое. Было видно, что не убирались давно!

Dieser Zimmer roch nach Schimmel und hatten keinen Fenster , Bad zu klein mann konnte sich nicht gescheit frisch machen , sehr alte Badetücher hingen schon fetzen . Kissen zehr Alt und mann konnte die einzelnen Schaumstoffe Sehen und Spüren. Nie wieder zu diesem Hotel.

Lokatie is top vlakbij toeristische plekken. Jammer genoeg kwamen we aan om 23 uur en werden we opgehaald met shuttle bus. Tijdens de rit kreeg ik de telefoon van de chauffeur en werd mij verteld dat er geen kamers beschikbaar waren in het hotel. Er werd mij voorgesteld naar een hotel in de zelfde buurt gebracht te worden. Terplekken bleke het niet in de zelfde buurt afgelegen in een achter buurt. Ben er niet mee akkoord gegaan en heb de chauffeur gedwongen ons af te zetten in het geboekte hotel. Die werkte gelukkig gelijk mee. Eenmaal aangekomen in het hotel hebben we een Helle discussie gehad met receptie. Er bleken geen 3 kamers beschikbaar die wel geboekt en betaald waren. Na lang ruzie maken ben in akkoord gegaan met 2 kamers 1 x 2 persoons en 1 x 3 persoons in plaats van 3 x 2 persoons. Vond het erg jammer dat we meer dan een uur hebben moeten boos zijn en schreeuwen voor er een oplossing kwam. Jammer genoeg was die discussie elke dag met nieuwe klanten. Kreeg zelfs te horen dat ik niet moet zeuren om 3 kamers omdat ik niet veel betaald heb voor het verblijf.

Tatilimizin oda kısmı cidden çok kötü geçti. İkinci gün başka otele geçtik. Bu aşamada ne otel yönetimi, ne de hotels.com yeterli çabayı göstermedi.

Reinste Abzocke, angeblich kein Zimmer frei, deswegen Ersatz Hotel, was die reinste Katastrophe war, schimmlige verrauchte Zimmer, in denen man es keine 5 Minuten aushält. Keine Bemühungen uns entgegen zu kommen. Richtige politiker, die sich aus allem rausreden, keine Kostenersatz, müssten auf eigene Kosten ein anderes hotel finden. Würde jedes andere Hotel mehr empfehlen als dieses. Noch nie so unverschämte Menschen gesehen.

Vi ankom til hotellet og blev derefter sendt videre til et andet hotel der heller ikke havde plads til os og vi endte med et værelse ude til vejen. Og der var meget larm på grund af nedrivning ved siden af. Og jeg syntes at det ikke kan være rigtigt at 3600 bliver spildt på sådan et værelse der hverken har net eller morgen mad. Vi ventede flere timer på værelset det kan simpelthen ikke være rigtigt
