The hotel is OK, but the original building needs some updating. I am sure I was in the smallest room in the place, the large window faced a wall about 10' away, the other two windows looked a roof, alley and satellite dish. Although I paid up front with a CC, they still wanted a $100USD deposit, this is very old school when you have a CC on file. All that was handled manually, and took forever to get it back on check out.. Had a leaking window during a rain storm and the first morning, there was no hot water. Because the main pool was closed for maintenance repairs, they offered a mediocre lunch buffet for free. Had to use the secondary pool, but unless you had a poolside room, there was no ladder or steps to get in and out of the pool. Hazardous for kids, seniors or anyone with a knee or hip injury. All in all, a pretty mediocre place! The staff were pleasant, especailly the housekeepers.

Hidden deposit requirement of $100 not mentioned upon booking. Guy at the reception was unpleasant to deal with. Incredibly slow check in process - everyday there were people sat in the lobby for several hours as they waited to be checked in (expect 4pm earliest). Cleaning service everyday was not completed before 4pm. Checkout requires you to wait for them to check your room before deposit return. Overpriced bar. No nightlights in room. Window in room did not lock. Gym benches are broken so can’t use it safely. Pool is a bit grimy. 1000thb fine if you dare drink an outside drink at the pool lol.

Unpleasant vibe created by all of the above when you’re meant to be relaxing.

Wouldn’t stay again there are better places to spend your money.

Overall this property was nice, room was a good size, nice pool, free breakfast was great. However, the check in and check out process was very annoying. I booked through Expedia and requested 2 twin beds but received a room with one double bed. I let the employees know this was not what I booked, but they did nothing to fix it. They seemed very very unorganized as I had booked this through Expedia, did not have records of it so they had to print out the receipt from my phone after taking a photo of it. Had me down as Mr. when I never indicated I was a male. Would not give us water when we asked. The pool was very nice. The check out process also took way too long. Please note this in case you are in a rush to get to the airport as it is an hour drive or longer. I tried to contact the property before I arrived about their shuttle service but they never replied. So, if you book through Expedia and try to message them there they won’t reply. My main issue was that I did not get the room that I had booked, and they did nothing to rectify their error. Otherwise, the location was good and close to a lot of stores and markets nearby and beaches.

There was nothing unique about the place. Buffet was below average. Most of staff spoke Myanmar and very little English. Made for long check in. Staff didn’t know what the other staff was talking about. Catered to a certain clientele and we were sort of pushed aside. I would not recommend it to family or friends. 👎👎👎

Great for family holiday

We booked 2-bedroom family room in apartment type house and it was spacious for our family of 5. It consists of 2 single beds and king size bed in another room. The room is clean, aircon is strong, water pressure is ok. Room has some wear-and-tear but very minimum. It has balcony to each bedroom where you can smoke or hang your wet swimsuits. The main swimming pool is accross the road from our place and the lighting at night in swimming pool area was pretty. It's location is at the quieter side of Kata which we liked because we have small kids. To go to Kata beach, we had to walk around 20min through a short-cut beside canal. It's a bit stinky but bearable. Kata beach is nice and has fine powdery sand. The water looks not so clear because the sand is not so white. Have plenty of restaurant and shops around the beach area. We also went to Kata Noi by foot (up and down the hill with a toddler!), and the walk was worth it. Kata Noi's water is clearer and the sand is whiter but a bit rough, beach is less crowded and relaxing. The waves in Kata Noi is big and strong, so not recommended for small children. But the adults can have fun with the big waves as it is very exciting to ride a big wave while floating! Over all, we enjoyed our stay in the Beach Boutique House because of the budget friendly price and the location!

Does the job

The first thing to say about the Beach Boutique House, is that it is infact part of a much larger complex called the Beach Heights Resort. Secondly its not in Karon Beach, as the address states but in fact in Kata beach. All of these factors can make it tricky for drivers to find initially.

While the Beach Boutique House is right at the back of the complex it does make it nice & quiet away from both construction & traffic noise. The rooms surround a series of pools of different depths.

The room is tidy & functional. There is a 10 minute walk to the beach, via a decidedly smelly waterway, but Kata Beach itself is lovely. We preferred it greatly to the larger Karon beach, which is also within walking distance, 20-30 mins, though the smaller Kata Noi Beach, at the far end of Kata, is also worth visiting.

In short the Beach Boutique House is not amazing in terms of service or quality but it is in a good position & fulfils your requirements.

Great breakfast and pool, in the heart of Karon

Hotel ist part of a 3 hotel system sharing breakfast and pool area. All was great, food was very nice and about 3 pools in the complex. Rooms a little tired but nothing to complain, staff helped us book a car and helped us bring up/down luggage as there was no lift which could be an issue for some families.

A relaxing stay

The room was clean and well maintained. We got a free upgrade to one of the other rooms in the resort due to a lack of available rooms which was great. The pools were clean and suitable for all ages. The restaurant on site also provides a range of food at good prices. Breakfast was also an extensive buffet suitable for a range of tastes. Would be happy to stay there again.

Had Some Fun, Had Some Frustration

They put us and my two small kids on the third floor of a building without an elevator. Our balconies were really tiny. Our king size bed frame broke during our stay, they replaced it quickly however. Very clean. Good food. Pillow was too hard. We had lots of space, but the room was not inspiring. We got what we paid for (it was cheap), but it's on a property with a lot nicer rooms (The Beach Heights Resort and the Boutique House share the same campus) and it was frustrating. No one tried to up-sale us or explain what we were getting. Neighborhood and beach is definitely kid friendly, but there's very little to do there. Was very hard to find any Mango Sticky Rice and Banana Pancakes. Had to go from Kata (where the Boutique is) to Karon to buy diapers.

The hotel that needs renovation

The positioning is good. The territory is good, like 3 hotels adjoining. 3 swimming pools. Very close to Kata beach and restaurants with bars. That is all. The hotel is worn out. The rooms are in poor condition. We had a big room with pool view in 2 story section. Every room we had with our friends had issues. Ours lacked cold water in one tap and respectively hot water in another. Bathroom had no ventilation. Furniture was damaged. Air condition clogged during our stay and started to drip water inside. Given the price, we would have considered a different place. The hotel is full with package tourists. To be honest, we were told, some rooms had been renovated. You may be lucky.

Close to Kata Beach

The are is pretty smooth during the day, after midnight it gets trashy. Lots of different things to do around, although quality in general is not the main purpose. The hotel is OK, we got the big deluxe rooms with two floors (totaly unecesary and big for 2 people). Hotel staff was not very informed in general and we noticed not such a great disposition. Cleanness fine for a beach hotel. Quality of guests is by far the worst. Breakfast was very good.

Nice Hotel

I would deffinietyly book this hotel again if I were to go to Thailand again. It includes all you need, if you are out exploring or at the beach everyday. Wifi could be better, but it didn't phase us as we were on holiday. House keeping and free bottled water everyday.

Customer service could have been better. Staff was struggling to speak English and it was hard to communicate. The pictures of room shown on website was entirely different. The actual room was OK but not up to the standard shown on website. No one ever called to ask us during the entire stay if we need anything else.

Nice budget boutique resort

The resort is not close to the Kara Beach but within a walking distance of about 500m. I booked a family room with one queen and two single, and the room is spacious enough for my family with 2A2C. The room facilities and cleanliness is acceptable. The main swimming pool is nice. The buffet breakfast is included in the room rate and acceptable because of limited choice (egg station, fried rice/noddle, congee, bread, soup noddle, juice, corn flakes, fruit, waffle/French toast/pancake). However, I will definitely recommend this report to those with kids, and wants to find a budget resort with swimming pools because the room rate is definitely cheap.

Part of the larger 'Beach Resort Group' which is made up of a few hotels at the same location which share the same facilities, so quite a bit busier than anticipated, not really a 'Boutique' experience. Seems to be very Russian and Chinese dominated like most of Kata Beach area. Close to plenty of restaurants etc, beach is about 10 min walk away, decent pool area, breakfast is not bad. Room dated and bathroom could be better- acceptable but would look elsewhere next time though.

Very disappointed!!! My shower drain was backed up so the water stayed in the shower with means then out into the bathroom floor. Water only came out of 4-6 holes in the shower head. There was stains on my sheets and had to request for them to be changed.The pool area was better! Staff was nice but very few spoke English.

Not as expected

Staff rude and not helpful at all. The bathroom was very dirty and dated. The shower was sprinkling water everywhere, water tap in the sink was not connected as it should be as cold water was coming out of hot tap and hot water out of cold tap. Reported to front desk but no one fixed it , they just don't care. Our family site was a bit far from main reception and next to building site. The breakfast was very bad, every day the same and same. Our room was not cleaned properly. We could find sand in freshly changed sheets. The towels they were giving to guests were dirty and full of stains. On check-out they wanted to charge as for stained sheet. We couldn't see any stain on the sheet but they demanded 1000 bath. We refused to pay and left very disappointed. The location is good and there are nice selection of restorants around but we would never recommend this hotel.

The Beach Boutique House hotel is part of a larger group so don't assume you are staying at a quaint little hotel. On arrival you are greeted by a receptionist who demanded 3000 Thai Bhat, as I was not aware of this I didn't have the money. I was advised of the nearest ATM machine. This deposit is returned on checkout once the room has been checked to ensure you have not run away with any of their belongings. The rooms were adequate but cleanliness was disappointing, I found rubbish in the bathroom from a previous guest. Housekeeping serviced the room between 4-5pm each day which was not ideal as usually that was the time I had returned from the beach ready to relax. The view from the balcony was of the a waste ground which appeared to be used as a rubbish tip and where rubbish is burnt.

The rooms were not soundproofed and you could hear the guests in the neighbouring rooms I had crying infants. There appeared to be a problem with the doors as they always banged and don't appear to be able to be closed quietly.

Breakfast was disappointing with very little selection and often had to wait for options to be replenished. The room was not very clean and you had to swat the flies from your food.

We paid way too much for this place even with the \"40% discount \" advertised. We initially were given a third floor tiny room with no lift and 4 single beds same quality as a backpacker place but we paid 10times more! We complained and were then given a two bedroom bungalow in the Chaba section of the hotel. This was slightly better being ground floor but the furniture was very old and broken and everything was poor quality. The door didn't shut at all and we had to ask someone to fix it 3 times until finally it was patched up. It was poorly air conditioned and was located next to a swamp with what appeared to be a rubbish tip on the other side of it.

The hotel is near Kata beach but to get there you walk next to what looks like (and smells!) a sewerage treatment plant! This was pumped out to sea once a day directly into the swimming beach! Never swim there!

The hotel pools were quite nice and the breakfast was ok but none of this made up for the poor accommodation we were given. Phuket was not a good choice for us traveling with two children and after spending an enjoyable week with the kids in Bangkok I would choose to stay there rather than dirty, touristy, rip off Phuket!

Lovely, vibrant hotel

The bed was awesome.one of the most comfortable beds i've slept on in any country....and they say that beds in Thailand are hard!
The rooms were clean and quiet but the hotel itself had a vibrant atmosphere with lovely pools and poolside bar. The location was good, walking distance to the beach as well as to nearby restaurants and stalls. The weakest part was the wifi which kept getting disconnected in the room.
Service at the reception was great. They were attending to so many people, always with a smile and ever so obliging.
The price was reasonable too. I would definitely stay here when I'm back again.

We stayed for 4 nights. Great room with very good AC, great beds, connecting room, microwave, electric stove.
Great breakfast menu (scramble eggs, thai food, breads, juices, yoghurt, etc).
It has few swimming pools and 12 min walking distance to Kata Beach.
Very friendly staffs.
Great hotel ! Will definitely recommend it.

Stayed in a two room suite for a week. One of the few rooms that could fit a family of four in all of SE Asia. Hotel was very nice. Cleaning staff could pay attention to details a bit more though: there was mold in the corner of the shower and we found articles of clothing on top of a shelf that had been there for some time. Overall we had a nice stay. Breakfast buffet was great.

This was a nice hotel situated in a quiet street, yet close to the beach (a short walk), local market and restaurants. Our room probably could have done with a bit of maintenance, but was neat and clean, and the beds were comfortable. There were three pool areas, catering for all types of swimmers and the staff who attended the main pool were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast area provided a diverse range of food, catering for all nationalities.

Everything here seemed more 5 star than 3 star,

Every single person I ever dealt with was exceptionally helpful every single time. Every request was attended to immediately efficiently and with a smile. In Australia we could learn a lot from these people. Every single day I was greeted with a genuine, not contrived smile and I really felt like part of the family. I extended my stay to over a month thereby overstaying my visa and copping a fine on exit. No big deal really.

Modern spotless hotel

Booked this hotel for 2 days in case it was not very good. So surprised by the standard I immediately rebooked for another month. Absolutely everything was top notch. I am used to and actually expect these hotels to never live up to the pictures on the web but this exceeded it.
I am an Accor hotels member but was shocked that the Ibis in Phuket/Kata was $80 and this one was on special for $18. This variance staggered me and that is why I snapped it up for another month.

Too cheap to give water to guests

Drinking water at hotel cost 60 bhat for 500ml and just down the street it was 14 bhat for 1,500 ml. Do the math. Why does a hotel choose to be so cheap about water, a basic necessity of anyone schooled in hospitality. Give a cup of cold water to a thirsty soul...
No apology was given for the extravagent denial of a reasonable cost for water.

It is at least a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach, which is not Karon. If the hotel and restaurant can fix the unreasonable and irrational charge for water, we might be inclined to commend its swimming pools and great breakfast

Best value for money, great service, comfortable.

Wonderful experience and one of the best hotels i've stayed in! Expected it to be the usual boutique hotel but it was affiliated with The Beach Resort Group thus with a few huge pools, facilities and exceptional service! The staff also provided great service, even remembering us & offered us beach towels when we were going out to the beach. Great in-house massage facilities too. Location was walking distance to Kata beach (150m), while Kata Noi & Karon was slightly further (about 1km+) but walkable as well. Great area!

Will definitely stay this hotel if I come back to Phuket.

Very good choice !

Very good hotel, we stayed there for three nights in January 2015. One note however is that a new building/hotel was added ... the Beach Heights Resort and Beach Boutique House now use the same reception which is somehow confusing (the picture of this hotel on the Hotels.com website needs to be updated) ... It is now a large complex, with four pools. Breakfast is excellent, good variety, some shortages in fruits can be seen but they replace with new items quickly. Would recommend this hotel !

We have stayed at this hotel often and normally love the place, but this time they were building a new 4-star hotel right in front of our room, which made the stay noisy and messy. We would not recommend the Beach Boutique House until the hotel is finished. Ladies at the front desk were also not very polite and couldn't/wouldn't understand us very well when asking for a taxi. It took them over 30 minutes to get us a cab. Recommend just walking up the street and getting one.

Highly recommended!!

The Beach Boutique is great value for money! We stayed for 7 nights and were very happy! Greeted on arrival with drinks, the friendly and helpful staff took us and our bags to the room.
Rooms are a great size with the amenities you'll need, hair dyer, kettle, umbrellas, etc.
Hotels breakfast is just the standard in all Thailand hotels, never any change. Don't go too early though as the butter will still be frozen!
We stayed in the 1st wing of the hotel where the spa and 1 of 3 pools are situated. Around the corner are the other 2 pools, though we preferred the first.
Beach Boutique is in a good location, opposite is a Market which takes place on most days where you can get food, drinks, clothes etc. Also close to a 7/11, Tesco Lotus and many food vendors! The beach isn't far, just a short walk down the canal path (not recommended to go through at night)
With many bars, restaurants, shops and Internet cafes on the same road, you won't need to go far for whatever you need!
One other highlight was the tour operator who was based in the hotel, Lucy from Fura Tours. Our rep was so helpful and gave us great offers on the excursions!

The hotel was Ok, less then expected. However the 400m beach was totally misleading. It was a 300m walk to Main street and from there a 434 step walk along an open sewer which made us gag. The alternative was a 20 minute walk along main street to get to the same Kata beach.
I took pictures so if you are interested I can send them to you.

Good hotel in KATA beach!

The Beach Boutique House, great hotel in KATA beach area. Not far from beach and near market, good for find local food to eat (not expensive).
And staff is good service! and very service mind... This hotel are welcome every tourist, every country and Thai too..

Have just one thing that I don't like in here, about wi-fi.
Wi-Fi in here is not free and not fast (about 2MB).

The Beach Boutique House in Phuket

Nice and clean hotel, much better than I have expected. No free wifi in the hotel but there is an internet kiosk on the street just outside the hotel that offers surfing at 1B per minute. the location is a bit remote and 5-10min walk to the nearest beach, but the beach is much cleaner than the Patong beach. Highly recommended.

ご飯やプールの説明もなし。予約番号を見せてと言ってきて、チェックインに時間がかかりました。
間違えて大人2人で予約してしまい変更のメールをしましたが、返信なし。チェックイン時に言いましたが、無視。
コロナのテストを空港でするようにと言うメールが何度もきて焦りました2024年7月現在やっていないので、送るの辞めてください。
プールに飲食持ち込み禁止。水くらいよくないかと思う。
朝食はとてもおいしかったです。
ビーチまでは10分位で歩いて行けます。
空港からのエアポートバスのカタナイトプラザと言う停留所も7分位で行ける位置でした。
ナイトプラザには、屋台がたくさんあって二晩とも、そこで夕食をしました。
3000バーツのデポジットはちょっと高すぎかなぁと思いました。帰りに空港で換金しました。
プールは1.7mくらいの深さでちょっと深かった。
最後はスタッフも笑顔で対応してくれて、まあよかったかなと言う感じです。

För det första var våra rum dubbelbokade så vi skulle få ett annat i 2 nätter. Blev hänvisade ett ca 500 bort vilket visade sig när vi kom dit var ett skyffe. 3 tr upp utan hiss?? Frukosten var inte internationell. Baren vid poolen inte öppen. Lunch- o restaurang existerade inte. Dåligt med barnpooler. Inget hotell jag skulle rekommendera.

La posizione è ottima, la sera si è circondati da ristoranti e mercati, si può uscire tranquillamente a piedi. L hotel è ottimo pulito e personale gentile. Una bella piscina anche se abbiamo sempre preferito il mare. Un aperitivo in piscina accompagnato da buona musica non si può perdere. Abbiamo avuto un problema all’arrivo perché io non avevo specificato che mia mamma camminava poco e le scale sarebbero state troppo pesanti, preferivo quindi avere due camere piano terra e vicine per fortuna dopo un po’ ci hanno trovato una posizione comoda è perfetta per noi.

Entspricht immer noch nicht der Abbildung

Zimmer sollten renoviert worden seien war aber nicht wirklich

Geländer am Pool ist nach zwei Jahren immer noch lose

Maler arbeiten am Pool nix abgedeckt und die Farbe tropfte in Pool so das es sich am Rand absetzte

Frühstück ist auch Schleier geworden jeden Tag das gleiche
Immer Käse und Fleischwurst ( jeden Tag)
Nicht mal Pfannkuchen ( einmal auf Nachfrage bekommen )

Ett annex till huvudbyggnaden. Ligger på baksidan av det större hotellkomplexet. Pool, restaurang och reception finns i huvuddelen. Poolen ren och fräsch. Gott om solsängar. Badhanddukar finns att låna. Ca 10 min promenad till stranden.
Dåligt dock att hotellet tar ut en deposition på 3000 (!) Baht vid incheckning.

11月2日から4日間お世話になりました。私たち以外に日本人は見当たらず、欧米の家族連れが多かったです。

元ホテルマンとしてつい厳し目に見てしまう私ですが、こちらのホテルの従業員の方々の接客スキルやホスピタリティは、これまで利用してきたどのホテル、旅館と比べてもトップクラスでした。

部屋もとても清潔&静かで、快適に過ごせました。シャワーの水圧が少し低いのはご愛嬌。

朝食はブュッフェスタイルで、どれも満足できるレベル。タイ料理もあり、特に麺が美味しくて何度もお代わりしてしまいました。

ホテル周辺はこじんまりとした街になっていて、徒歩5分圏内にビーチ、小規模なマーケット、レストランがあります。ホテルの目の前にはファミマもありました。

今回、初めての家族旅行でお世話になりましたが、何年か先に、またプーケットに行くことがあれば、ぜひまた利用したいホテルです。

заселили совершенно в другой номер , не тот который был на фото при бронировании. Самый дальний корпус. Номер в меру пошарпанный. Единственный путь к пляжу -через речку вонючку. Локация неудачная. !!!!

今次我同一行8人出發，因為我早走，所以我book了這間酒店住6日，這間酒店是我第一次入住，地下泳池景客房都應該反新了，感覺唔錯，早餐都好，每天都一點點不同，我房對出的泳池都好像沒人清洗，要走路出新的泳池游泳（新泳池好正）,旁邊食肆很多，有24小時便利商店，星期一同四，還有夜市行（不過夜市5月1日要搬上的點的新地址），位置好好。
