The room was in good condition and the staff were lovely. However the room was very basic and a little worn. The hotel is next to a 7/11 which was super useful but there wasn’t much else nearby. The food also wasn’t all that appetising. Great business hotel but not ideal for travelling. I should have done more research before booking here.

If you want a decent night sleep, don’t stay here.
This hotel needs to introduce soft-close doors on the rooms.
I was on the second floor, surrounded by a group of inconsiderate people (Probably a family or group scattered amongst various rooms), who think nothing of power-slamming their doors, day and night.
It’s so bad, you can actually feel it, not just hear it.
I’ve already complained to reception when they were singing and dancing at midnight between rooms, but the door issue is easier to solve.

Due to an early checkout, the evening before I asked if there was any bills to settle, and the reception said no.
A day later, I’m sent a WhatsApp picture of some outstanding bills. That’s just not good enough really.

Check-in: The queue for check-in was long but the staff handled it well and check-in was smooth. There was a welcome drink and candy for kids as well.

Environment: There was a Merdeka performance at night by Pentarama making the environment lively. 7 Eleven was just by the lobby.

It was an average stay for the night to rest from the drive before continuing the journey up North. It was a decent night stay as we only check-in around 330am and check out by 10am.

Basic amenities, bed was ok but pillow was terribly soft and flat.

Even if for just 1 night, my stay was super.
I'm very picky with hotels and restaurant and above all service. The swimming pool in the roof was great, the room was massive, and the breakfast was an endless buffet. I would have loved to spend more time in this hotel.
Something that i really liked was the staff always smiling and focused on the customers. Something that I found out to be very rare in Malaysia.

Very nice stay

Had a fantastic couple of nights.. just 2 little things, I couldn’t turn the aircon down so I was really cold and the WiFi kept dropping out which was annoying.
Helpful staff, beautiful pool, nice bresiand discount for over 60!

We ended up having to check out of the property. The shower was not properly hinged and created water collection on the floor, which was an extreme hazard. We were supposed to be refunded for the second night and that was a lie, this is not a 4-star hotel.

We had a balcony room and it was noisy until Midnight from the food trucks/music across the street. The hotel is average and the Air-conditioning was running all night, without ever reaching the set temperature. The bed was comfortable. Just ok for one night.

Worst Putrajaya Hotel

The hotel is too old to charge like a 4star rate. The room smells old n over used.
The bed got bed bugs cos i woke up with spots and sore eyes due to bed bugs. The pillow is like been uses for thousands of time.
The walk way is old
This hotel room should be price rm50-100 then its worth the stay.

The outside of the hotel needs work; be aware that parking is in the basement of the shopping center and you have to take the card with you to validate your parking. That is if you can find anyone to validate the parking - they either have people lined up checking in/out or the desk clerks are no where to be found. We just paid for parking because it wasn’t worth the hassle. The bar is closed which is why we picked the hotel and nothing on the website said it was closed. There is nothing at this location, so you will need a car if doing any activities. I would only stay at this hotel if I needed a place to stay for one night.

Hotel location near Sultan Mizan mosque and lake was breathtaking. Check in took 25 minutes waiting in line. Only 1 person at front desk during peak check in time. Room given was not cleaned, bed not made! Given nicer room to compensate, but no towels or hangers provided. Towels finally arrived after 5 hours! Room safe was not attached to any surface. Anyone can walk away with your valuables!
Room was nice but the maze of corridors can be claustrophobic.

Overall it was a pleasant stay and quite crowded.

Arrived at 3pm and queued for 20mins for check in. Social distancing not really in place.

Elevator is very slow.. please come out earlier if you're in a hurry.

Overall, room is quite clean and tidy. Only downside is the amenities are not up to 4 stars standard. No indoor slippers, only 2 bath towels (no bath ropes, no hand towel, no floor mat). Called recep and even emergency but no one bothered to pick up.

If you're a self sufficient person, Dorsett is still a good place to stay.

Forgot to mention that my room view sucks, viewing internal piping and a run down side building so I kept my curtain down all the time.

If you happen to be in town for a meeting or a course, you'll have to give this hotel a try. Walkable distance to various govt buildings around plus a lot of eateries nearby eg Putrajaya Food Trucks during the night. The lake's view is awesome with the famous Sultan Mizan Mosque just across the road.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel!
I stayed for one night yesterday and definitely regret the stay. Shocked to see the hotel was actually a first floor of a shop lot.
Old building with stain, not a properly serviced air cond. leaked ceiling!
Bfast was the trigger, bad! No coordination at all. No frequent meal top up. Maybe there was an event or meeting going on, hence quite a number of people. I truly did not enjoy my stay!

Hotel looks nice but wasn’t the best stay. No kettle in the room which I find odd. No bar by the pool so couldn’t get soft drinks.
Room was clean and a good size but not well maintained. Stiff, squeaky sliding door to bathroom, wallpaper peeling.

Nice property. Spacious room with comfy bed and nice bathroom. Staff were excellent. Buffet breakfast covered all requirements. It was located in govt sector opposite mosque so could be noisy lots of the times. And no alcohol due to being in govt area. Got a grab to nearest shopping mall not far away. Lovely alfresco dining area...with alcohol, and floors of shops which would keep you occupied for a whole day. All in all, nice hotel but go elsewhere if you want a drink.
