This hotel is a potential 5, but it is need of some maintenance and upgrades.
It is a beautiful property with great views and a quiet area.

As all the carpeted areas in the room and hallways are well worn and dirty, I would recommend that the property owners consider switching to tile floors as the climate is suitable.
The breakfast has many choices for everyone but the staff could be a bit more friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful hotel at a beautiful location. So peaceful to walk around near boats cruise and the buffet breakfast is amazing. However the hotel bathroom is dirty needs cleaning and maintenance. Could see moulds everywhere.

Disappointing

Not impressed at all, considering they try and sell themselves as a luxurious place. When I arrived staff turned their nose up at me, I felt they thought I was in the wrong place with a backpack on me.
Checking in was smooth, but didnt see the staff smile or even look at me. The room itself was okay, nice size and comfortable. No plug sockets near the bed which was annoying. I feel it needs abit of TLC generally, as some things are worn. There was also dirt in the bed side tables and the sheets had a tear in them.
I also asked for late check out which I happily paid for, however halfway throughiut the day my card stopped working. I went down and they sorted it quickly but no apology and again seemed dismissive. Further to that, I later had housekeeping come into my room asking why I hadnt checked out. I dont know why the late check out wasnt communicated to them? Overall, Wouldnt recommend and not very impressed.

I checked in at 8pm and given a room on the 7th floor. There were multiple cockroaches in the room. I spoke with reception and the lady was lovely but she said there was no manager on site to deal with the issue.

Great breakfast. There is nothing around the hotel unless you take a Grab and take a 10-15-minute ride to the mall. The view from the room is great.
Front desk - some are great and helpful, but others could be cold.

Worst experience checking in ever.

Checkin took nearly two hours. We finally reached the counter at 6pm and was told our room was still not ready! We missed out on a swim because the pool closed at 7! Whilst waiting we purchased two bottles of water and was charged twice the price of room service. Once in the room the shower did not drain, the carpet was stained and dirty and the room smelt of cheap freshener trying to cover up the issue.

Second stay, Convenient location for me, short grab ride from train station to/from airport. Not a lot around within walking distance, hotel restaurant is good. The separately operated rooftop bar has great views, but really really need to expand beer selection.

The front staff seem inflexible and will tell you to check out by a certain time, when they know full well it is impossible for a lot of people as they are staying here for an event that may finish past noon.
This is a yearly powerman cycling/run event and they do not seem to be prepared in advanced for it.

Not even close to being a 5* business hotel

Hotel itself has potential, but is poorly managed and not really suitable as a business hotel.

Paid 50% more for executive floor, but lounge was mostly closed and in darkness.

General condition and cleanliness of the rooms and areas like the pool is not good.

Wouldn't stay here again unless under new management.

The hotel is at the centre of the Government District. Safe and quiet. The Putrajaya lake is just beside the hotel, with the red mosque and Royal place on the other side. The view is stunning.

Pros:
•Room and cleanliness- Great
•View - Stunning
•Staff nice and friendly
•Breakfast buffet - probably my favourite…lots of food selection

Cons:
• The aircon wasn’t that good…we’d be sweating so much at night
• In room service - ordered wonton noodle soup but it only came with 1 piece of wonton, mostly noodles and a few pieces of chicken - mushroom soup was good but only came with 1 tiny piece of bread but the Nadia goreng was lovely
• Fridge wasn’t really cold
• No a lot of traffic here however, to get to the city it’s pretty far and during peak hours normally take 1.5 hrs by car

Overall, we had a great stay and most of the cons are avoidable so we had almost no problem and would definitely come back!

Checked in was a bit confusing. There was an area to queue which is ten metres away from counter. Myself including some ppl were queing but the receptionist attend to a family who walked straight to her counter instead of those who were in the queue. When i question her, she simply shrug her shoulders. I hope the check in and out process can be smoother esp when they're busy with check in and out customers.

For the price, I would expect a lot more here. The check-in process was a bit clunky and slow. Our room was nice and had a great view, the A/C couldn't quite keep the temperature where we wanted it during mid-day but it was super cold at night. Getting a grab or taxi to anywhere in Putrajaya was troublesome, this seems to be the whole area not just the hotel so I can't blame them too much for that.

The hotel receptionist was very helpful. I had an early morning and left before 5am so he helped pack some breakfast for me, and had the bill ready so I could leave without any hassle.
The club lounge was unstaffed during cocktail hours(probably because there weren’t many guests on that day) and I needed to call someone to open the drinks. But all else was good. The view of the lake is beautiful and the room was very clean. I think it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Putrajaya.

Lovely place to stay in a lovely city

I have stayed at the Zenith Hotel in Putrajaya twice now. It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful city. The staff there are always friendly and helpful and I have enjoyed both of my stays very much.
My only small criticisms are two. First, the breakfast which I personally find a bit boring and not especially to my taste. And second, the two chairs that are provided in guest rooms are far from comfortable. The reclining chair which is shown in photos of web sites looks comfortable but it is in fact from from being so. I wasn't able to use that reclining chair at all. The other smaller more conventional chair has insufficient padding and becomes uncomfortable for me after sitting on it for just a short time.
Over all though, I am always happy to stay at the Zenith whenever I visit Putrajaya, something I plan to do much more often inn the future.

Zenith Putrajaya was a very comfortable and spotlessly clean hotel right on the edge of the lake with beautiful views from our room, the restaurants and the rooftop swimming pool. The staff were lovely and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The Chinese restaurant on the ground level was so good we returned the following night. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if returning to Putrajaya.

This is a nice hotel, but definitely not a five star hotel. When you arrive the entry area is jammed with parked cars making it difficult for the taxi to stop. The door staff stayed inside and my taxi driver unloaded my bags which I took to the check in desk myself. The check in desk is crammed with people and people just walk up and interrupt your check in. I took my own baggage to my room which was extremely hot. After running the AC on 68F for several hours it was still 78F in my room. I called the desk twice and they said maintenance would take care of it with no change in temp. The temp was 75F when I checked out the next morning. Rooftop bar has an extensive menu of drinks, but only had a couple in stock. The lady there was very nice, but although the views were nice, the $8 beer, one of only a couple of choices did not impress. I use a CPAP at night and did not have an adapter for a Malaysian plug. I spoke to the very friendly desk lady who followed up with the manager, the response was we do not provide that. There is absolutely nothing close to the hotel, no convenience store or outside dining. Restaurant in the basement of the hotel is not bad and you can find some reasonably priced food. I had a flight issue and needed a hotel that looked nice and was clean. I expected more, but this hotel is comparable to a 2-3 star Comfort Inn or low end Marriott. It is clean and new, only open 11 months.

2 night visit for business staying in a club room

Azaz(?) in the platinum club lounge did a fabulous job, providing information and insight into the hotel and the a whole range of other subjects. The lounge was beautifully placed with great views, fast WiFi and enough food and drink. The options at breakfast were good and more than enough. I have already discussed this with the hotel, but the club room privileges were not obvious, as the hotel as a green policy of not producing lots of letters/fliers etc but hopes to communicate with their guests through an interactive TV. This could be made clearer, particularly when most other hotels still print out a letter or produce a Hotels Services file for each room.
Roof cafe does an excellent series of set menus, 180 Ringit option was more than enough and had over 5 courses - staff were excellent.
About 80-100 Ringit by taxi to KLIA. The hotel limousine is worth booking as it was reasonable and a guaranteed way of getting a driver, as the hotel is not overrun with taxis etc. Grab is also an option.
The hotel is new, less than 2 years old so does not suffer from many older 4* hotels that have grown \"tired\" and worn down rather quickly in the humid environment.
Pool looked good but did not try - and a small but seemingly well stocked gym was also on site.
Certainly worth staying if you have business in the area between KLIA and Kuala Lumpur, but is only about 30 min in a car to most places so I would give it a go.
