Room and Staff were wonderful. Upgrade to a 1br villa was very much appreciated. Cleanliness around the resort grounds was very good. Facilities like pool etc were great and kept the children entertained all weekend. Only disappointment was there were way too many dogs. Your website FAQ page says they are only allowed from mid April to Mid Dec so I felt safe to book in Mid Feb. It made me quite uncomfortable to know there had probably been dogs on the beds and couches. And walking back to my villa at night I was accosted by a free ranging dog with no owner around ( they were upstairs in their Villa with the door shut). The dog stood its ground and barked threateningly at me, before being called back. I do think that the accommodation industry needs to rethink and realise that there are still many people who are not dog obsessed and when paying quite a lot of money for a nice resort, would prefer not to share their holidays and accommodation rooms with other peoples animals. Perhaps split the year into 6 months availability for each? Thanks again for all the good bits though :-)

The property needed an overhaul. The bathroom door would not close and power for lights and the bedroom ceiling fan was lost for 2 nights of my stay. There was only one eatng place with a very limited menu. I was very disappointed with my stay and would not consider the Broadwater Resort in the future.

Party of 9 (11 yr old to 77 yr old) and stayed for 2 nights at two 3 bedroom beachfront villas. Villas were clean and tidy and aircon already on. No beach/sea view, but closest to walk to the beach from side gate. Ours were locater on 2nd floor so do note if mot ambulant enough. Internally, Villa has a master bedroom with bathroom and another bedroom with 2 single beds on the ground floor. Common bath and separate toilet also on ground floor. Another 2 single beds upstairs on loft level with narrow steps. Beautiful cosy place!
Great facilities for young and old, 10-15mins drive to Busselton Jetty or town, and right beside resort is a little place which has a supermarket, open cafeteria with good simple breakfast options, pharmacy and little shops.
Only thing was the shower which doesn’t seem to have consistent flow of warm water as during the shower it would fluctuate between very hot then cold and back again.

Nice resort for the family to spend some time together with two leisure pools and a games room. There are some blocks with two levels of apartments, mine was a unit with a loft, which will be fun for tweens or teens to hangout. I think because if this layout, the apartment was on the 2nd floor of the block so we had to lug our luggage and stuff up the stairs. Be sure to check if you are selecting a ground floor or second level unit if you have mobility issues. Staff were very friendly. Beach was just a short walk away. Local grocer and some restaurants are nearby too.

My husband and I have been coming back off and on since our children were young which is almost 30years.
We love the position close to the water and bike path.
We come now to just relax. We don’t have to start the car. Just a short walk and you have chemist and shop if you run out of anything.
We will be back again.

Good family get away. Pools were the highlight and close to the beach. Cafe was terrible for breakfast but if there for drinks and pizzas it’s good. Tennis courts and close by shops were handy. Rooms were older but ok. Beds comfy and pretty quiet. Had a smelly bathroom in our 2brm tennis apartment.

The resort is great for families, close to everything in the area, even though the place was full there was minimal noise and the staff were amazing, we had a couple of small issues that they fixed straight away and the communication leading up to the booking was prompt and helpful.

Our Xmas stay at Broadwater Resort was fabulous. We were lucky to get a table for Xmas lunch on check-in (which we hadn't planned) and really enjoyed our table set for us, the food and entertainment. The two ladies did a splendid job organising the tables and lunch.
Our ground floor villa was very good, albeit a bit noisy from chairs scraping a lot from the first floor villa. Parking was easy, and even though there were many people and children staying here over Xmas all were well behaved and considerate. We dined at Tonic by the Bay each evening we stayed and had great service and food. The beach is very close to the villa we stayed in.

Great for kids. Nice small grocer 100m up the road.

Few things could be better like:

Charging for ice instead of having ice machines.

Attached restaurant/bar doesn’t really do breakfast which is a major drawback for me, toasted sandwiches and an extremely limited menu in a resort isn’t appealing. This would be the only reason I wouldn’t come back - if you prefer to cook for yourself this place would be perfect, but starting the day having to go on a mission just for breakfast doesn’t make a good start to the day and when on holiday.

Having a clothesline at the back of the room was great but very dirty and covered in lots of old spider webs.

We stayed 2 nights (Friday and Saturday), our room was next to the function room. Both nights there was loud music until 11pm and on a function on Sunday morning from 6.30am with loud talking. The function room had open doors so it was music blasting right next to our window all night. We have a toddler and a baby who don't sleep through the night so it was very disappointing the front desk said they can't do anything.

We arrived after 6, but all instructions were in the lock box with the key. The room was ready with heating on when we arrived, which was fabulous. Kids loved the indoor heated pool, the beds were comfy, the room was clean and staff very friendly. We only stayed one night, so didn't try the restaurant. Definitely will stay again.

Considering I was only there for one night, the rooms was clean and basic that was ok.
But when the unit was closed up for the night , smell from the bathroom drains was discusting. I had to open the door for fresh air.

The review siad there was two restaurants ( just what
I look for after a long day traveling) but they were closed and only serverd pizza that night> Ok i can deal with that. But when you are served a pizza with low quality ingredents and you have on other options ( not good).

Spacious rooms, however the cleanliness of the property could have been better. Paying over $650 per night for a room that has spiderwebs on every corner. More attention to cleaning in the toilet and bathroom, especially in the corners. Also moving the beds and vacuuming underneath as they are filthy underneath them. We tried to push two beds together to make a larger bed and after seeing underneath, decided against it 😬

Mu kids won the prizes in some of the games, but due to repair in the machine, we can’t get the prizes out of the machine.
Reception staff gave the money back… it’s good.
But as a kid, he will be so happy if he get the prize.

My family had a lovely time, the staff were all very welcoming and friendly and our apartment/villa was clean and comfortable.

The dishwasher was a bit temperamental and worked sometimes and the washing machine didn’t work at all. We used the communal washing machine which was fine but didn’t have laundry powder all the time.

We also found parking very difficult. We have a baby and most of the time had to park outside of the complex and some nights even at the beach parking lot which wasn’t ideal trying to carry a sleeping baby and a 4 year old all the way through the parking to our apartment. The parking perhaps should be allocated for each unit. We found that a whole bay next to our unit was taken up by a trailer with kayaks which didn’t seem very fair, perhaps a trailer and boat parking should be on the further side of the accommodation to allow families to park closer.

We ate at Tonic one of the evenings but we were In the room to the left of the bar and it was extremely hot, and the food wasn’t that great. We opted to eat out or cook ourselves the rest of the trip. There were also quite a few people by the pool who would have wanted service, so drinks or food served to the pool side, this would have been a great service we would have utilised.

But in saying all of that, we enjoyed our trip and the pools were great.

Easy checkin. Great location to the pool facilities and a short walk to the beach. Stilts cafe was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our only concerns were. Air-conditioning filters full of dust. Toaster not working. Remotes for the tv flat battery. Also fridge freezer needed defrosting. With that said, our concerns were meet promptly with everything working perfectly. So yes we had such an enjoyable stay.

Good - Checking in was easy and staff nice, It was cold when we arrived and when we got to our room the heater was on which was nice, room was nice with plenty of space, bed comfy and good amenities close by, small shopping mall within walking distance. Facilities are good indoor/outdoor pool and kids entertainment area, BBQ area and restaurant. Beach is within walking distance.
Would stay here again.

I like the layout of the villa. But for $335 per night, you would think everything would work (tv and DVD player wasn’t working), kitchen bench had a big piece of laminate missing (looked old and dated) and the bathroom shower screen had mould on it.

This place has all you need! We swam in the indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub. played tennis. Rode to the supermarket just down the road. You can walk to the beach and there is a restaurant right there!
We will be back for sure! The kids loved it!
