The resort is well equipped, with plenty of kids’ activities and facilities. Communication with the receptionist was easy, and they accommodated our last-minute request without any issues. Catherine, the receptionist, was exceptionally helpful.

We stayed in a glamping tent. It was very well fitted out with all bedding, towels, cooking utensils for the camp kitchen, fridge and heater. The park is very family friendly with multiple playground, pools, games room and jumping pillow. The park is a 10 min drive into the centre of Busselton. It was worth the drive to be in such a great park. The staff were amazing.

My checking in experience was not great. The lady at the counter asked for my credit card even though I had already paid in full amount 1 week prior. She said it’s not showing on her end and just left me waiting while she continued her checks and my kids were restless in the car. Eventually my husband had to come down and see what was taking so long. She said she couldn’t see I had paid for it even though I showed her the invoice and receipt of payment. Then she eventually gives me some wristband's and says I’ll keep looking this is your house number. And then off I went. Not knowing where our place was we drove around some time looking for it. Had no idea where to park everything had reserved written on it. We eventually found our place. Didn’t realise I wasn’t even given a key. Had to walk back to reception to ask for a key to our property. 30 mins after arrival and still not settled with 4 kids and after long drive. Not welcoming at all.

Mandalay is very well maintained, we were there the week after school holidays and it was spotlessly clean, the staff are super friendly (including ground staff). Our cabin (beach cabin 6) was really clean, the provided plates, utensils and kitchen stuff were all good quality and more than adequate to cook a few meals. The kids loved being able to explore the park and find all of the playgrounds and even did some possum spotting inside the park. The pools were clean and the warm pools were a hit with the little ones despite the cool weather.

Fantastic park for families, park was buzzing with kids playing. Coffee/Food Van patked there full time for breakfast and dinner bites. Playgrounds all over the park, great swimming indoor and outdoor. Indoor pool heated for swimming all year round. Opposite the beach. 5 mins from Busso centre the list goes on!!!

Absolutely loved this park! We stayed in a Glamping Tent & it was perfect for our 5 & (nearly) 3 yr old. They didn't want to leave. Amazing facilities / amenities blocks. The park is so beautifully looked after & the staff are friendly & helpful. The indoor pool, bouncing pillows & playgrounds were a hit as well as riding their bikes around the park.

We had a lovely time for my daughters birthday second year in a row.. smaller cabin then the chalet last time but still lovely and cosy.. only wished the coffee van was running or the coffee vending machine other than that we loves our stay at The Mandalay and will be returning for sure. Thank you to staff that were unnoticed but there if you needed them .

Great place for families. Except birds chirping non stop night till morning was noisey didn't get much sleep. Beach cottage was clean and tidy. Except would liked to have a side table in the kids room to place water bottle. There was no clocks. Would also liked if there was an ensuite.

The cabin was very neat and tidy. The place felt like home because of all the equipment in the cabin. The accommodation site and amenities were very appealing and inviting to use. It would have been great if the slide pool would have been heated, but it was fabulous to have one heated pool. It was great to have an on-site shop and tourist information. Looking forward to staying here again.

if you're thinking twice, don't. just book this holiday park and you will not be disappointed. very very clean, beyond our expectations, both in the cabin and throughout the compound (we don't really have anything to compare with though, but we've driven past several other holiday parks and they don't look quite as well maintained). the indoor pool (32 degrees temperature) is a plus in colder months. playgrounds and bouncy pillows will keep the kids entertained throughout. the cabin was a little small, but cosy, super clean and kitchen was equipped with all the things we needed. next time we will likely book a bigger chalet or the beach side cabin. and many thanks too to the friendly staff who accommodated a request we had.

Mandalay is the most immaculately kept park / resort that I have ever seen.

There is a small army of employees cleaning and attending the park. Everything was immaculately clean and well maintained.

The park has a real family feel and felt very safe for kids to roam and play.

The pool was very warm even on a cold day.

Our two story cabin was immaculate, it had obviously been refurbished recently.

An excellent week in an excellent resort

We stayed at the Mandalay resort for the second week of our trip to Australia and we couldn't fault it at all. We arrived slightly early but that wasn't an issue and we were in our room within 10 minutes. We were in Beach Cottage 6 which was fantastic. It was spacious, had all of the essentials we would need for the week, tea coffee, milk, and cleaning equipment etc. It was perfectly located with a play park to the front of the property and a large grass area to the front with the beach just a stones throw away. There was plenty going on around the resort including a film night for the kids, a fantastic day of events for the melbourne cup, visits from pizza and coffee vans and more. The pool area was great with a heated indoor pool, a fairly warm outdoor pool and fantastic slide for all to enjoy. The shop had a fairly minimal selection but there are plenty of shops just minutes down the road (by car) so that wasn't an issue. The staff were friendly, the people around the resort were friendly. Honestly couldn't say a bad thing about it and would love to come back again in the future.

The cabin house is so nice and spacious! Can fit up to 4 persons.
But the only thing that \"surprising\" us is we have to clean the cabin house in order to get back our $100 deposit.

We have stayed at resorts and caravan parks all over this state. Mandalay was an eye opener. From the minute we drove in we were totally gobsmacked!!
Our beautiful, spotless chalet was waiting. They had even turned on the aircon to welcome us as it was a cold rainy day.
Everything about the whole property was a delight. The kids comunity facilities were first class and run extremely effeciently.
The gardens were beautifully maintained. Beautiful lawns everywhere and leaves collected constantly by gardeners.
We only wished that we had come here years ago.
Our chalet was immaculate. Scrupulously clean with everything we could want and need!

This was a short stay away for a relaxing time which it was how it turned out. The slide and pool were appreciated by the younger members and the peace and quite by the oldies. The chalet was very clean and comfortable with all we needed for our time there. We would certainly recommend it to our friends and can't wait to return with our relatives from the UK when they visit.
Thank you for a very pleasant care free break from the rat race, and thank you to the helpfull and polite staff.

This is one of my favourite parks in Australia. Beautiful facilities, spacious, luscious and green gardens, sparkling pools with big waterslide for kids, excellent games room with pool table, awesome laundry with herb garden. Realllly super clean! Loved it.

Mandalay was fantastic! Such a great range of activities on offer for the kids, including a disco, movie nights, and bubble soccer. They loved the freedom of riding their bikes and swimming in the various pools. The slide was a great hit! This freedom for the kids meant we were able to relax and enjoy our break immensely. The Mandalay is fantastic for families, especially those with Primary school aged or younger kids. We stayed in an ensuite cabin, which was well furnished although a little cramped. The Park's amenities were excellent, the pool & water slide a massive hit with our 9 & 11 yo boys, and the playground, blow up pillow & access to the beach (across the road) were also popular.
