The hotel is located next to a busy road about 5 miles from Dunsborough. The restaurant was closed for refurbishment until 20 December. The pool was great, as was access to the beach. The room was very clean and modern. Check in at 4pm was not very convenient.

Staff were curteous, room smelt firstly like bleach very strongly, then kind of like pee. Had a lot of activities to offer, but cost and just ajving to go back to reception to organise was a bit of a pain so we didn't end up using them. We enjoyed the outdoor chess set and the room was quite comfortable. I accidentally left my jumper hanging on the back of the bathroom door and it has mysteriously disappeared. The staff apparently cannot find it.

We had a self catering apartment that exceeded expectations. It had EVERYTHING we needed and more. The apartment was very large and comfortable. So much space!

The staff were very helpful also.

The hotel facilities were excellent, with inviting pool area, communal BBQs, gym etc. The beach was only a couple of mins walk, which during our stay was very quiet.

The only slight -ve was the constant road noise from the main road. A number of windows at the front had mesh ventilation which allowed the sound to travel.However, the back rooms (sitting and bed) were far enough away for the sound to be reduced. It was not defeating, but noticeable.

Great hotel, lovely room, the pool and outdoor spa were great to use, gym is small and has a water filter.
As with most south west hotels, the rooms weren’t cleaned daily and you need to clear your own rubbish. The nearby beach isn’t worth checking out though.
I would give it a weak 10/10 due to their self promotion and not being honest saying the presentation would be 16 minutes after I asked again but I’ve read it goes for 90 minutes. Listening to their intro during check in was getting annoying as we wanted to chill after our long drive.

We have been here every year for the past 4 years.
Unfortunately our stay this time was a little disappointing.
1. Construction outside our room but only told this when we checked in.
2. Lawns mowed at 7:30am outside our balcony.
3. Pool closed most of morning due to maintenance.
4. Bed very hard.
5. Woken through the night by bugs (unsure of what)
6. Only 6 coffee sachets and we stayed 5 days.

Sorry but we were disappointed. As i said this has been our go to place to escape our busy demanding jobs every year.
Will not be returning 😢

We had a lovely room, overlooking the stunning gardens. Lovely pool area. We saw a bright blue Fairy wren with his partner, having spent two days searching for them😂
We loved our stay at Wyndham, we ate in the restaurant both nights, excellent food. Great bar staff. Can’t fault it apart from a small issue at check out, with payment.

Wouldn't class this as a resort was more of a motel. The room was not serviced daily and so no clean glasses or cutlery was given. There was no where to wash your used cups cutlery ect so it was not ideal. The reception seema more interested in signing me up for a timeahare type of deal as opposed to ensuring the stay was enjoyable.

A Pleasant Stay

We stayed at the Club Wyndham for 4 nights. Due to noticing a very strong smell of bleach on going into the first room allocated to us. After raising it with reception, some initial investigations, without a fuss, we were quickly moved to another garden view room on the ground floor.

The room was similar to our first room and was spacious, light and functional. With a nice large bathroom (separate WC) and walk in shower. The bed
was comfortable and the self catering facilities were adequate.

We ate in the restaurant on 3 of the 4 nights we stayed at the Club Wyndham. The restaurant staff were very polite and their service was very good. The menu is a bit limited, but the food was well presented and tasted delicious. Our only complaint was the wait for the food to be served. We waited 50 + minutes for the main course to be brought out, on 2 of the 3 nights that we ate in the restaurant.

I used the exercise room on a couple of occasions. This room is small and the CV equipment is limited (running machine & bike) and dated. There is also a multi gym machine and some dumbbells. The pool and surrounding area is nice.

The nearby beach (accessible from the hotel) is nice. But there are much nicer beaches (such as Eagle) within a 20 min drive to the Club Wyndham.

The hotel is situated about 10 minutes drive from the lovely small town of Dunsborough.

Close to beach for a leisurely walk, or a cool dip in the ocean. Feels like you're the only one on this secluded beach. Peaceful, quiet and a sense of freedom from hustle & bustle of work related commitments. My temporary piece of heaven.

When I booked this hotel I assumed that it was a resort hotel with a few nicer amenities. It turned out to be anything but. Upon check-in, I was required to sign a liability waiver for anything I might do at the hotel. Then I was turned over to another receptionist who proceeded to try to get us to sign up for a 90 minute sales pitch on buying one of their units. For someone from the USA who had no intentions of making Australia a semi or fully permanent location, this was insulting. The road noise at this facility was constant and very loud. I would NOT recommend this facility for anyone wanting to stay in the Dunsborough area.

- Location of resort was a bit out of the way; we would have prefered to be closer to either to Busselton or Cape Naturaliste, where the convenience of restaurants/cafes and attractions are.

- Room was a little dirty though; also note that housekeeping cleans every 4 days of stay or so.
- Could consider viability of greener option of bathroom amenities (e.g. shampoo, shower gel) in larger dispensers instead of small plastic bottles.

We arrived with wheelchair for disabled guest were refused disabled parking place as we did not hold Australian disability Permit having arrived from U.K.
Without warning at 10.00 am Whilst loading luggage the door was locked leaving disabled guest standing outside without wheelchair and unable to re-enter the apartment. Notice that this would happen would have been appropriate.

Room was nice,even though our fridge was broken. Was very loud traffic due to being on main road but with the aircon on you couldn’t tell the difference. Spa bath filter did suck and bruises my skin on my back ! But apart from that it’s a lovely resort with lots of things close like the candy cow !!

The place is nice and the location is perfect for a quiet getaway. The rooms are clean and spacious but checkin was quite annoying, the hard sell on trying to get people to go to their information seminar to invest money in the hotel is just rude. You feel pressured to say yes and that’s all I could think about the whole time we stayed and was left thinking how to get out of it. It’s all very uncomfortable and rude.

The hotel room was lovely as were the staff, however the noise from the road was terrible... despite closing all doors and windows and putting blankets under the door it was still extremely noisy. We put the aircon on to have some white noise and that sounded like a freight train ... it was a shame... we only stayed one night .

The resort itself is ok. The nearby road is very busy and very noisy. We stayed Sun -Tues. The resort's restaurant is closed Sun and Tuesday. Fortunately Dunsborough is nearby with a few good places to eat and drink. The room was fine almost to European standards which for Australia is good. Over all I would give it 7/10

The resort is ideally situated for Busselton and Dunsborough with a short drive to the wineries. Close to the deserted beach with clean blue water. A nice pool area and gardens.
Breakfast was included but same selection each day. Evening meal was ok just pub grub really.
Take your fly repellent as there were loads of flies but could be time of the year. Good resort for families and couples with easy parking.
