La chambre exécutive pour laquelle j’ai payée ne ressemblait nullement à la description donnée par l’hôtel; aucun balcon, un frigo à vin ne permettant pas de mettre ma nourriture et sans congélateur pour y ranger les « ice pac », absence de cafetier, une seule débarbouillette pour deux personnes, absence de support à bagages, et de meubles pour suspendre le linge, porte de salle de bain qui ne ferme pas…
Il nous a été impossible de rencontrer le personnel, ni le soir à notre arrivée, le le matin du départ à 10h am.
En quittant, je voulais remplir ma bouteille d’eau mais le lavabo était tellement petit que je pouvais pas rentrer ma bouteille sous le robinet!
Cette chambre ne correspondait même pas à la description de la chambre standard de base.
Très déçue et choquée du manque total de service et du prix excessif demandé pour cette chambre. Je ne recommande surtout pas car vous payez sans obtenir le produit demandé.

I booked the room and paid for it and when i arrived and called to remotely check in they slapped with with a security bond to the same total of the room and refused me entry until i drove around for 30 minutes looking for a combank to deposit the bond .. after that and me explaining i had just drove and needed to sleep they continued to make me.hold for a further 25 minutes until they took the money and the bond i finally got the key .... the room was very basic and the mini fridge was defrosted and water under it ... the apprent king bed was two singles pushed together to which separated and i fell through the two beds the shower was cold after running it for 20 minutes i was frustrated the front desk lady refused to acknowledge my concerns and sent me off with chocolates after i requested a refund

Even though the unit has been recently been refurbished,it was very basic. There was no hair dryer, microwave, toaster or coffee maker. There were no towel rails in the bathroom.
Reception was closed from midday. Entry was negotiated over the phone.
It certainly was not worth the money.

I booked this hotel for a friend and her children. The room was dirty. Rubbish just sitting in eye view of under the bed.
Unclean area , with some sort of dried up sauce near the microwave.
The drain in shower was clogged so was unable to shower without cause water damage.
Unfortunately my friend and i wont be booking this hotel again. I would like to request a refund.

The bed was very comfortable and the building centrally located. The room was unclean unfortunately. Hair in the bathroom & rubbish in the bin from a previous guest. Cutlery taken directly from the drawer had foodstuffs attached. No hairdryer, milk for coffee or ironing board

A motel so horrible that even the receptionist didn't want to be there after 5pm. More like a jailblock than a welcome experience. The overwhelming feeling of danger wasn't helped by a cell door that had obviously been broken down and a safety chain just as obviously broken. Not only do I never want to stay in the Comfort Inn again, if it's any reflection of Lismore then I don't want to stay there either,

I always stay at Comfort Inn Centrepoint when I stay in Lismore. The staff are friendly the accommodation is clean and comfortable, the water is hot and it is within walking distance nearly anywhere I want to go.

Annoying humming fan heard in the room when light is on. $20 to be held by the motel in case of fridge contents consumed but no fridge contents found. Extra worry of being charged for this. No staff on site at 9 am but able to contact by phone.

When checking in we were advised the staff “had ran out of time” and unable to clean spills on the lounge.

This meant the lounge was not able to be used.

After a long day on the road it would have been nice to be able to sit on the lounge and watch the footy finals.

Overall cleanliness of the room was also average.

Would not recommend staying here.

The worst place I have ever stayed in. The main double bed is wet from the air con unit above it leaking, the room smells of mould, everything feels unclean, there are dead cockroaches on the floor, the towels are stained and look dirty.
It’s not a cheap rate per night, expected a lot more, very disappointed

Staff were friendly and helpful and first impression on the room was good, however once you looked properly there was dried vomit down the front of the toilet, the mugs were dirty (probably because they charge $20 extra a day if you want them to wash your dishes....) and the screen and security doors didn't lock properly, which is a bit concerning when you have kids sleeping in the second bedroom.

It was more then adequate for my needs , good location in the CBD and the room was well serviced each day of my 4 night stay , close to Woolworths , Restaurant’s and Lismore Workers Club .
I did think it was overpriced for a small country town but it was competitive with other hotel’s in the town .

The place was OK.
Had all we needed for an overnight stay and was in good vicinity of everything we needed in Lismore.
However the room is quite dated, the queen bed was horrible to sleep in and left myself and my partner with sore backs and one of the childrens blankets on their bed had a big mark on it like it was unwashed. Both air cons were quite old and did not work very effectively.
The lady at the reception was friendly and very helpful upon check in.

we booked a king bed room and found ourselves in a pokey little room where 2 people could not pass each other and a tiny bathroom only fit for 1. It seems all the rooms are the same small size and all the members of the group were complaining too. There was nowhere to hang any clothes as the tiny cupboard was filled with an ironing board and had no hangning rod.

A bit expensive for what it was

My husband, two year old and I needed a place to stay while we stopped over in Lismore. The room was comfortable enough - air con, comfy beds. The bathrooms are quite small. The main thing that annoyed us was that the free wifi wouldn’t work in our room (208). We couldn’t even pick up the wifi connection at all. The lady at the counter just said ‘Oh that’s probably because we had lots of people staying and everyone was using it, sorry.’ I found the price a bit much, especially considering the wifi didn’t even work.

Fabulous country style hospitality

Staff were friendly and accomodating for my family's needs. They went out of there way to ensure we were comfortable. Their knowledge of the area and shortcuts on the highway made everything run smoothly. The restaurant food was exceptional. My family will return to the centrepoint motel in Lismore soon. The centrepoint is nice and central allowing you to walk to Woolworths, restaurants etc. We had a 2 bedroom family room which was a great size and suited a family of four perfectly. The drawback was just the cleanliness. I don't think the cleaners do more than the beds and a quick bathroom wipe over. Lots of areas just had dirt and dust accumulated. I understand the hotel is old and does show good value for money but a good all over clean would lift it's reputation a level up.

Good location. That's where it ends!

Room was clean but could do with an upgrade. Bathroom very, very small. Don't drop the soap in the shower as there is not enough room to bend down and pick it up. Laundry fasilities were absolutely disgusting. 1 washer, 1 dryer, took $9 to do a load and dry it properly, but the state of the room was a discrace. Restaurant was great.

I was told on arrival that lastminute had booked 2 people on my bookins. I told them that I had only booked myself a room for one night. They cancelled the toher room and told me to ring lastminte asap. I tried to do that but lastminute told me to ring back hours latter. This is an effort to not receive from my amex a double bill.

The Comfort Inn at Lismore lives up to its name. The rooms are generously sized, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I managed two very good nights sleep which is important whilst away working. It is well located close to restaurants and the centre of town.

We stayed there for one night while the Lismore Show was on. Great staff that helped me check in quickly as we ran off running late to the show. Room had all of the amenities which was great. Quiet area, tiny bit of traffic noise in the morning but other wise super quiet. Heaps of parking available too.

Reception staff were not welcoming what so ever the single bed was filthy, the verandah was breaking away from the brick work and looked quite dangerous too stand on, not to mention a very smooth slopping concrete floor to verandah which on a wet day/night was very hazardous, the inn keeper welcomed himself into our room while we were out.

The restaurant staff were very friendly and were rather intrigued to meet who they were cooking for, which was quite shock but very well the highlight of my stay here at Lismore Comfort inn.

This place is not the Astoria Waldorf but it is a good as you get in a place like Lismore, loved by some but loathed by most, and the rich burghers live on the coast at Lennox Head or Byron Bay. The food in the Restaurant was really good, inexpensive and the staff and typical civilized friendly country people. You will be happy there
