Great gem of a place if you want to see local living. Paid $150 USD for driver from Naples and back each way. We stayed for 4 nights. Location was fantastic. Staff were super amazing, friendly, helpful and caring. Every local restaurant was great. Mustafa food and service was disappointing however and ate there twice ☹️. Stunning sunsets!! Beautiful scenery on the water! In a safe location and bus stops right in front that takes you to the main town in few minutes if you want more scenery and shopping.
The boats and ferries are just few steps away to Capri, Positano and Amalfi. This was a fantastic find. We loved Vico Equense and miss it already!

The staff, from reception to housekeeping, were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful.. the housekeeper even dropped us off at the station early on the morning of check out.
The photos probably flatter the rooms a little, but on the whole a very nice hotel.
Our room was on the same floor as reception, which was less than ideal, with noise and smoking penetrating the room from outside.

The room was extremely clean and the management were so helpful in organising public transport. We paid the maid to take us to the train station because we couldn’t get a taxi. They organised this. There was a good range of food for breakfast and we could see the seas and Vesuvius from our bedroom window. You have to walk up a hill to get to the train station and then you can get to Naples, Sorrento and Pompeii

The Palazzo Murano is a jewel in the shoreline part of Vico Equense. Situated opposite Vico Mare (the main pier), and nestled in the nook of the mountain, the rooms are fabulous; pretty, modern, clean, and comfortable. The linens were clean, and the towels were fluffy and clean.
Compared to bigger cities, the lower part of Vico Equense is quiet with just the right mixture of nearby restaurants, pizza shops, gelato shops, and convenient transportation.
The hotelier, Alphonse, is a marvelous host, providing transportation for us each of three days, with several drivers, at less than Uber rates. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.
My wife and I highly recommend Palazzo Murrano, and Alphonse!

Alphonso and Giuseppe were always willing to assist us with local directions and offering advice on local tours. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Vico Equense area. It sits right on the sea and the view is spectacular.

A cute lil boutique hotel in a small seaside town. The staff was amazing and gave great recommendations and overall service. It was clean and quiet. The room felt a lil sparse and could use some redecorating to maximize the space and needed an upgrade, in terms of the furniture. The bathroom was big, the shower was awesome and loved the vibe lights, but needed more counter space. We’d have liked a bigger tv. It was very small and placed off to the side of the room. The balcony was beautiful and we loved our sea view! The breakfast buffet was decent, mostly pastries. Transportation in the area was difficult but the staff was helpful with the trains and bus routes. Overall, a great stay.

We had a lovely stay. Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with modern furnishing, well equipped kitchen, clean and well maintained. There was no parking on site so we had to park at the St Antonio camp site a few hundred meters away. Not too much of an issue. Unfortunately, the sea was too rough to swim during our stay. The location was good as Seiano is much quieter and Vico Equense is a short hike uphill (uneven stone steps). Sorrento is around a 30min drive during the peak summer season and I don’t recommend Positano unless you’re willing to head out very early and battle for very limited parking spots!

Great place to stay. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. They make you feel at home and like your part of the family. The front desk staff very helpful and Alfonso is super great with giving tips on things to do in your stay. Francesco is great with giving advice where to eat or what to do in the night. The view is amazing and super clean hotel. Breakfast is great also the ladies cook really good, they give you a lot of options to pick for breakfast. They make a great coffee everything was excellent. 10/10. The staff make sure your safe getting to the hotel and going to the airport.

This is a fabulous place to stay. We stayed in the apartment Murrano White… a 2 bed beautiful place just located at the rear of the hotel. These guys have become my family. They are the best!! This is my second time amongst my now annual yearly trips there. I highly recommend you stay here if you visit the Amalfi coast and definitely look no further. From their hospitality to their views, you won’t be disappointed, trust me. They are in the perfect location and lots of amenities in and around the property. Restaurants right outside the door, boat rides to any destination along the Amalfi cost, beaches and clubs, easy to get to the train for transport, literally everything!! We are incredibly grateful that we had the chance to stay at the Plazzo Murano in Vico Equense. The fantastic kitchen staff that always called me “lady” haha and manager Alfonso were phenomenal. Alfonso was so incredibly kind to us and helped us in any way possible from booking taxis for our early morning flight to helping us to book an extended stay due to LOVING the town of vico. We booked Palazzo Murrano after reading the trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed with our choice! What a lovely boutique hotel, very spacious, clean and bright rooms with lovely sea views. Situated on the harbour it gives easy access to buses, ferries and some lovely restaurants. It also has Murrano Mare a beach area to relax and sun bathe with a restaurant and waiter service- wonderful!

Alfonso is a superb host, he was in contact with us via email soon after we booked our stay to help and advise on trips to book and places to visit . He had already booked 2 full day trips with a driver ( Libero) to visit Herculaneum, Pompeii and a super wine tasting at Russo wines (day 1) and Ravello, the Emerald cave and lunch at a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea. ( day 2 )Libero was a brilliant driver/guide who was very personable and provided great insight into local life. He ensured our 2 days were very relaxed and stress free. We would definitely recommend his services.

We were immediately impressed by the message from management at Palazzo Murrano upon booking our trip. It was welcoming and informative. And the quick response to our questions, offering suggestions to make the best of our week on the Amalfi coast made us realize we made the perfect choice for our vacation! When we arrived (using the transportation they arranged), we were greeted and taken immediately to our room, the Amalfi Suite. The room was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The balcony was beautiful, with views of the coast, and Vesuvius in the distance. We then went to breakfast, and was greeted by Nella with an espresso, fresh pastries, eggs, and more in the breakfast area on the 4th floor. She was there every morning at 7:30am to greet us with a smile! The entire staff was so friendly, and Alphonso the manager was always available to help. He arranged transportation to the local train station (10mins to Sorrento, 25mins to Pompeii, 60mins from Naples), booked our boat trip to Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi, and so much more. This resort is close to numerous local restaurants, their own pier that has sun chairs, food, and drinks, and is a great central location to see the Amalfi Coast! In a week we were able to visit Naples, Sorrento, Capri, Positano, Amalfi, and Pompeii. If you are looking for an intimate setting with excellent service and accomodations, this is the perfect place!

She was an absolute doll, and made the most delicious breakfast and always there with your cappuccino or expresso. A difficult and very long walk up to Vico Equenses for shopping, restaurants and to the train. The hotel shuttle was non existant. The private beach and marina were closed due to it being \"low season\".

The hotel was very clean & the staff was extremely friendly. The marina area had about 10 places to choose from as far as food. There were two public beaches & the beach club as options for swimming. The breakfast was on the roof & had a good assortment of things to eat. The view from the room was great. There was a bus to bring you to town but it was very unreliable. They helped us arrange our ferry transfer to our next stop. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at the Palazzo Murrano was completely perfect. The hotel has brilliant views right by the sea and a handful of incredible restaurants right by the front door. Vico equense is a beautiful town and a great place to stay to see this special part of Italy. Alfonso was brilliant, he was in contact since we booked our stay and was full of recommendations for what to do and where to eat, he did everything he could to make sure we had a wonderful time and made us both feel very welcome. Nella put together a delicious breakfast every morning and everyone working at the hotel was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were having a great holiday. The only thing that would have improved it is if we could have stayed for longer!

I have so many great things to say about Palazzo Murrano, their wonderful staff, the beautiful hotel, and the lovely town of Vico Equense. The location is perfect for those that want to escape the big crowds of other coast towns and Palazzo Murrano is by far the finest of the hotels there. The hotel is updated and the rooms impressive with beautiful balconies with incredible views. You have access to the pier which is a great spot to sun bathe, take a dip in the sea and has full service (food, drinks etc). The staff at the hotel (Alfonso and Johanna in particular) have the best recommendations and are very kind and helpful. We took a boat trip to Capri that left from right outside the hotel and enjoyed gourmet food at a Michelin star restaurant within walking distance. This is a place you will fall in love with!

This was one of many stops on our honeymoon. The Palazzo Murrano was wonderful. The hospitality team was incredible and helpful with arranging tours and adventures. The only thing we found average was the mattress comfort. We always stay at Marriotts and are a custom to their comfort. We found the mattress and pillows a bit uncomfortable. Given this fact, we would stay here again.

As a present for my 50th birthday, my missus wanted to treat me to a holiday away and found this place and it looked pretty good.
Situated by a marina, there are some great bars and restaurants along the waterfront plus one below us. The first worry was that because there was a restaurant below it would be noisy? The double glazing and soundproofing was so good, I think that if a bomb went off outside you wouldn't hear it.
The hotel also has it's own private pier and sun loungers (though the umbrellas are extra) though on weekends they open up to paying customers as well as guests.
The breakfasts were served on their rooftop terrace which has an amazing view of the bay although you can sit inside if you wish.
All the staff were polite and friendly and gave us some great tips about where to eat locally and where to go.
It is one place I'd love to go back and stay again... So much so I didn't want to come home!

Wonderful location. Incredibly picturesque and very much off the beaten track. There are minimal tourists and the village has a very authentic Italian feel.
The staff were fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble and they genuinely seem to want to give you the best experience they can.

For the price we paid, I would have expected more. I would have expected the TV to have had an international channel subscription as opposed to just italian television. Also upset that air conditioning only worked while we were in the room. I normally like my room to be at a cool temperature when we walk in. Again, for the price, it kind of defeats the purpose of A/C.

We loved our stay at Palazzo Murrano in the little fishing village by the sea. The rooms were large, beautiful & bright. The staff was friendly & helpful. We took a boat tour to Capri from the marina in front of the hotel. We also took a car tour with Libero to several of the towns in Amalfi. Both of these trips were wonderful. If you are looking for a good base to visit the area but not a crowded tourist trap, this is a the place for you!

Palazzo Murrano was a beautiful hotel and immaculately clean. Our room was light and spacious with an enormous bathroom and a very large shower with mood lighting. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace with seating available either inside or out and lots of choice of things to eat, including eggs cooked however you like.The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Parking was available very close by for 5 euro per day. The hotel has a really lovely sunbathing and swimming jetty with a bar and covered seating area. The weather was not good enough for us to go into the sea when we were there but we did use the sunbeds one afternoon and it was very enjoyable. The staff who run the place seem to take great pride in it. The manager gave excellent recommendations for local restaurants and made a reservation for us at \"Torre Ferano\" one evening. The restaurant sent a car to pick us up and take us back after our meal, which was delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. We had a nice relaxing stay for a couple of nights.
