Located in a quiet and charming town, Mary hotel welcomes you to a breathtaking view of the town and the Tyrrhenian sea. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. They have an excellent restaurant also overlooking the mountains and sea, which makes any meal an experience. The whole restaurant staff, beginning with Vincenzo, the Maitre D’, go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Same goes for the pool and beach club staff. You take a shuttle to get to the beach club where you can relax overlooking the deep blue sea. Overall and amazing stay in a peaceful town. Will be visiting again.

Amazing resort to stay at. Vincenzo the breakfast Maitre’ D was a delight every morning. Always had the best table for you with a beautiful view of the sea. Staff was friendly and so pleasant. Food in the Vico Equense area is five star.

Best view, clean, very close to port for ferry and private boat tours. The toiletries are just ok, it could be better. It is also far away from Sorrento. Overall this is a great hotel for families. Also, the pool was outstanding.

This is our second stay at Hotel Mary and did not disappoint. Wonderful staff, incredibly clean hotel and very well run. Special mention to Vincenzo who runs the restaurant like a symphony.
The team who run the outside bar and pool are great, lunches by the pool very good and good value too.
Rooms are big, clean and with a balcony facing the sea. It’s a perfect location.
Vico Equense is on the train line to Sorrento in one direction and Pompeii / Naples in the other. Many lovely restaurants, all within easy walk.
The hotel has complementary valet parking - just drive up and someone will magically take the car away for you.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! We stayed for two nights, and had a great time. The infinity pool was beautiful outside our doors. It looked down over the whole valley and ocean. We also ate in the dining room for dinner one evening and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

We just got done 5 nights at Hotel Mary. First the property cleanliness and view from our Oceanview room were spectacular. The staff all were helpful and try to go above & beyond to give an outstanding experience- it was very appreciated. The morning breakfast buffet every day is nice and has a good variety. We are ate at the restaurant a few times but found the menu a bit limited and pretentious in our opinion. We did eat at the pool bar for lunch as we were swimming anyways and that worked out well for us. We found ourselves walking into town for dinner (and sometimes lunch & dessert) it’s a shame we didn’t feel we could enjoy the hotel menu more because the view is extraordinary. The staff at the pool is great from pool towels to drinks for everyone right to your chairs. Anyways service is top notch just some little complaints about the restaurant and they tried to check us out a day early as they had made an error with our reservation but other than that everything was great.I’d stay here again and recommend it to friends for sure. Vico Equense is so beautiful and such a quaint region! You won’t regret a visit here!

A wonderful stay for a night.
At check-in the staff parked the car for us in their own parking area free of charge, and at check-out the car was delivered promptly.
The dinner at the hotel restaurant was fantastic.
We were met with such professionalism and politeness by Vincenzo and his staff. They really made a fantastic dinner even more amazing. Then there was the amazing sunset viewed right from your table enjoying a glass of complimentary prosecco. Truly an unforgettable experience.

The rooms were spotlessly clean - as were the shared areas. The staff were so lovely and helpful at all times too and can't rate them enough for this!

The location of the hotel is really great, you can walk to the train station and be in Sorrento in half an hour door to door, with the town of Vico Equense itself only being a short walk from the hotel.

There is a beach bar you can get to via a long winding path and steps, or there is a shuttle too. The beach bar is on a jetty and you can access the water via steps down, no beach element as such, but again staff and experience here was really great.

Would really recommend it as a hotel base if you're wanting to explore the Amalfi Coast.

The property is impeccably beautiful. The views are incredible every morning. You wake up to the rooster when the sun is rising, simply majestic I would definitely go back there again to use the pool. We didn’t get the opportunity to use my suggestion as you stay there for at least four days take the boat trip from Sorrento to Amalfi and Positano. That was suggested from the front desk and it was a great day.

We had a very nice stay, first we didn't like our room, but we were able to change it and it made a world of difference.
We were celebrating my husbands birthday and they surprised us with a bottle of champagne, this was a very nice gesture. The room was great, the breakfast was lovely. We had dinner at Il Barrio osteria recommended by the hotel and it was amazing. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

One thing I didn't realize - Hotel Mary is not in Sorrento - this hotel came up when I was searching for places in Sorrento. We made it work! Public transportation is wonderful and easy to use!!

We only stayed for a night as we took the train in to Sorrento (10 min walk from the hotel). Staff was amazing. We had a drink at the bar, amazing spritz and bloody Mary. Then a wonderful meal at the restaurant that night. Great food, but more amazing staff! Also made for an awesome Breakfast, loved everything about the stay including the church bells and roosters waking us up!

The room was updated and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with many options and beautiful views, which made mornings especially enjoyable. The only downside was that breakfast ended at 10am, which felt a bit early for a vacation spot. Wi-Fi worked well, but the TV only offered cable (no Netflix option). The property is about a 15-minute walk from the train station.

The town itself is absolutely adorable and surprisingly lively considering we traveled in the off season. Since we visited in winter, we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool or the beach, but we can imagine it would be lovely in warmer months.

We loved our stay at Hotel Mary! We went for our honeymoon and stayed for 3 nights and we had a great time. We had a seaside view from our room and it was absolutely magical. The staff was very friendly, and a special shoutout to the staff working during breakfast hours as we were greeted and waited on immediately. There was a wide variety of food during breakfast from eggs, bacon, ham to several breads and desserts like croissants, fruit tarts, marítozzo and much more. The beds were comfortable and were a good mix between soft and firm. The hotel is a short 8-10 minute walk to the little shops in Vico Equense, all while passing a nice park with ocean views. Overall, we really loved our stay and would definitely come back!

The good: Valet parking; Clean; Great view; Nice breakfast
The questionable: The staff appear to be friendly, without being very amenable.
When I asked the bartender at the pool bar to turn the volume on the 'boom-boom' music down a bit (there were only 6 people on the deck and one was <6 months old), she told me to go sit at the other end of the pool.
I was told repeatedly that they didn't care if I was an Expedia Gold Member, they do not offer upgrades. This became an issue because I had booked a Superior Room (215sqft) and the room that we got (135sqft) - behind the elevator - would have been stretched to be a decent single. The hotel was full, so we were stuck.The next morning they agreed to move us to a larger room (160 sqft). They could have made a guest happy by upgrading us to one of the empty Executive Rooms - as I requested - in compensation for the previous night. But they refused. Instead, they cut their losses by giving us a slightly better, albeit unsatisfactory, room and let the 4 Executive Rooms go empty.
There is almost no discernible decor: the bottom is blue and the top is white; no artwork, flowers, sculptures, POI's.
They offer an area shuttle, but wanted 10€ for 500m. Should be a service, not a grab.
Negatives: The most eco UNfriendly hotel I've been to in a long time. Everything is plastic, wrapped in plastic, single use amenities, etc.
Description is totally misleading - not on the beach!
There are better avaliable!

Beat Staff! All of them but I don’t know their names. Juicy was our go to person who helped us with our trip. She explains in detail what you need to know and is soooo patient. Vincenzo is the host at the restaraunt! He smiles at you and ensures you feel welcomed.
When you hug to say goodbye, you know it was a great stay. Be good to the staff and they will be great to you.

We loved the breakfast buffet, and the restaurant servers were outstanding! The sunset views were absolutely gorgeous, and the drinks arrived quickly. While the beach club didn’t have direct sandy beach access, the floating dock and its restaurant offered generous, delicious portions. Dinner options were on the pricey side and not quite as delicious, and the wine was outrageously priced. Overall, we still had a fantastic stay! :)

Simply loved our stay here. The staff was very friendly and the town it was in had the best dining experiences all within a 5 min walk.
Since it was in a smaller town the pricing of the restaurants was very reasonable and great quality food.
It was a short train ride to Sorrento as we were touring hte Amafi coast.
Highly recommend.

The impeccable facility and staff are only out shined by the incredible views of from anywhere in the property. Stellar service from all of the valet, concierge, bar staff, spa team, and especially management throughout our stay. Rooms are stylish and spotless. Breakfast buffet was impressive, as well as room and dinner service. Conveniently located just north or Sorrento so you can miss the worst of the traffic heading south from Napoli. Plenty of options nearby, walking into town to explore, taking boat tour(recommend to Capri) or driving to the Path of the God's, Mt. Vesuvius, or around the coast to Sorrento. It was a perfect ending to a 40 day holiday through Italy!
