The chalet complex is around 2 km from Vico Equense where guests will find the beach, restaurants, bars, nightlife and bus and train station. Sorrento is a 15-minute drive, Pompei and Ercolano are approximately 25 minutes away by car, Naples is roughly 50 minutes and Positano is around an hour's drive.
Naples-Capodichino Airport is approximately 45 km from the hotel. This small slice of paradise extends over grassy grounds of 25, 000 m².
Formed by natural terraces directly above the sea, the complex offers wonderful views over the Bay of Naples and Capri Island. This peaceful oasis offers its international guests all the modern comforts they need for a wonderful relaxing holiday.
The resort offers guests an efficient service including a bar, restaurant and pizzeria. The air-conditioned complex features 32 accommodation units and additionally offers a lobby, games room, cafe and a TV lounge.
All the chalets have 2 rooms and feature a TV, private balcony, a kitchenette with fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, and an en suite bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. The chalets have a minimum of 2 beds and a maximum of 5 beds.
There is an outdoor swimming pool with children's swimming area and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Guests may explore the surrounding area by bike.

I'd avoid this place in the future
This was the only disappointing stay during our two week trip through Italy. The location is not great if you're interested in traveling to Sorrento and the sights around it. You take a bus that runs almost every hour unless it doesn't, to a train, both were always delayed and really limiting for how much time we could spend exploring the sights. It's only 2.5km from Sorrento, but don't be tricked, those 2.5km are a big deal! It's on cliff, with a really dangerous road you have to pass to get anywhere, including the bus stop, and there's no access to grocery stores anywhere near the place. The owners were also really rude, I wanted to book a boat tour and they straight up told me they wouldn't help me because they thought it was a waste of money. I asked several times and said I knew it would cost money and they just told me no. They also charged a lot for a breakfast which was a pastry, and coffee. The coffee was also not free and no refills!!! They also didn't serve tap water with food, so all water was for a fee. We asked one morning if we could just have coffee (we didn't like the pastries), and the owner said no, you must have all breakfast or nothing. It was incredibly disappointing for the price they charge. The rooms are super bare and aren't worth the money, the bathroom smelled of mold. I would not recommend at all, spend your hard earned money somewhere where they treat you as a guest and not an annoyance.

The room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and had great view. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, and their friendliness was exceptional. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the Amalfi Coast. I highly recommend Baia Serena for an unforgettable stay.

Had a lovely time staying at Baia Serena, we had an amazing view from our balcony, the pool was lovely and the restaurant dining area again had beautiful views. Free Wi-Fi across location was a bonus too.

For the price we paid, we did not expect 5 star accommodation and as we are used to the camping/caravan lifestyle, this was a great for us to visit the place of interest in the area such as the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Capri, Mount Faito.

The property has amazing views! We didn’t expect a bungalow but that’s what this place is. It was very nice, centrally located to Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi coast, etc. the staff is super helpful, and they will help you navigate the area. They can even rent you a scooter. Cool spot! I’ll be back.

Parking was ridiculous and I am surprised we didn’t damage our car. The sheets were dirty on one of the beds and the towels were thread bare. The location was about 5km from Soronto which doesn’t sound bad however every time we needed to bring our car back onto the hotel property was dangerous. Wifi only worked in the main building. The only positive things I can say was that we received a warm welcome and the pool was nice.

Let me first say that the owners were very friendly and the view was beautiful!! However, it was extremely hard to park or get out of hotel. The beds were horribly uncomfortable and we had no towels when we got there. Not a great location if you have a hard time walking (very steep hills) or heavy luggage. Pool was nice and the food was good. Good price, but not a great location if you don't have a car.

Arrived at hotel to be greeted with no u cancelled your holiday! Manager very accommodating as it was expedias mistake! We booked 1 family room but ended up with two small rooms, this meant we had to separate for our family holiday!
There are good bus routes if you are a fit walker as the hills are very steep. The train service was also very useful and cheap. The shop had a good supply of basic foods, beers and wines and not too expensive.

My husband, 2 teenage children and myself stayed 3 nights or our two week Italian holiday in The Villagio Turistico Baia Serena approx 15 mins drive to Sorrento. We had a 2 bedroom holiday home with double room and twin room. It was very clean and fantastic views.

Bungalows! Awesome view!
The location is off the beaten path, so a little hard to get to from the train station (requires a taxi or bus ride). But once you are there, the view from the terrace, where dinner is served is amazing! It seems to be a family owned/managed property, which is nice. The host family cooks dinner for themselves, and for you if you want it, and it was probably the best meal we had in Italy. I definitely recommend this place and I would go back again someday.

Very basic bungalows with not so comfortable beds and tiny towels, but in a beautiful park about fifty metres above the sea on the seaside with a breath taking view. From one window of your bungalow you can see the Naples bay, from the other one Sorrento, from the little terrace both. There is a beautiful and clean swimming-pool on the estate. The staff are very nice and helpful. They organize you all kinds of trips in the neighbourhood on request. It is not easy to find a nice and comfortable beach in the neighbourhood. Those that are quite nice are all rather expensive as compared to Croatian beaches. You need a car for this place to be able to enjoy your visit.

The place was nothing like it was advertised. You were first met at a guard house for check in, he took you to your little bungalow, you had to park and walk the rest of the way because the roads are so narrow that they cannot take cars. The bungalow itself was inhabitable, ants everywhere and I don't mean just a couple, every room was infested, colonies it was disgusting, the place itself was incredibly small, no kitchen table etc. There was no place to sit down except for outside which had trees blocking any view what-so-ever. We were there for about half an hour and decided we needed to find somewhere else to stay, when we checked out the owner said they had spray for the ants (why wasn't this done before we arrived, so we wouldn't have to breathe in toxic spray). The pool had a layer of bugs on it, making it non-usable. This place was awful for such a beautiful area in Italy.

Too far from anywhere so had to hire a car to get to restaurants, bars, sights, etc. Very cold in the rooms. Rather uncomfortable

The overall impression was just ok for a few days.
The chalets and restaurant areas were very rundown and in need of refurbishment. The pool was excellent and because we visited at the end of season was very quiet which may not be the case in high season. Access with a car is a bit tricky so dont stat here with na large vehicule. The views are superb and the owners are very friendly and very helpful.

The service and location of this hotel make up for the fact that the rooms, though clean, are a bit run down and old. We enjoyed the fact that the hotel is close to Sorrento (with an amazing view of the city and coast!) but far enough away for some quiet when we needed it. Family-run, the owners did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and worthwhile - sharing their knowledge of the area and more.
Note: it would probably be difficult to reach this hotel without a car, however even for experienced drivers the entrance to the property is extremely steep and hard to maneuver!

Auf der einen Seite total genial (ruhig, entspannend, freundliches Servicepersonal, nicht überlaufen, super Ausgangslage für Unternehmungen) doch kehrseitig hat die Anlage auch Defizite (sehr steile Hanglage, die Häuschen sehr in die Jahre gekommen, Poolanlage ist \"überschaubar\" und vieles mehr) Für uns war der Aufenthalt trotz der vielen Defizite als positiv zu beurteilen aber man sollte mit wenig Erwartung seinen Urlaub dort verbringen, und sich die positiven Dinge schätzen die die Anlage mitbringt.

Ce sont de petit bungalows (esprit camping )vu mer pour la plupart ,avec une piscine vu mer très belle ,une mini supérette et un couple charmant pret a aider et donner des conseils de visite .Par contre il faut une voiture car pas de bus et sur place circuler et se garer est difficile le site est en pente (il vaut mieux petite voiture );le bungalow était petit mais fonctionnel,simple et propre literie pas très bonne .Pratique en situation car près de Sorrente et des îles

La struttura è un insieme di bungalow a picco sul mare, con una fantastica vista sul golfo di Napoli. Il bungalow in cui ho soggiornato per una notte era un po' piccolo per una famiglia di 4 persone e necessitava di un po' di manutenzione. Un encomio al gentilissimo e simpaticissimo il proprietario.

An einem steilen Abhang gelegen ist diese Unterkunft mit einem fantastischen Ausblick wunderbar gelegen. Die Bungalows sind gut ausgestattet. Sorrent ist nicht weit, für Ausflüge nach Capri… und auch sonst kann man allerhand unternehmen. Der Pool ist groß (leider noch leer bei unserem Besuch).

Le village bénéficie d'une très belle situation. Mais l'accès aux bungalows en voiture est très difficile (chemin étroit et très pentu), le bungalow qui nous a été attribué était aménagé très succinctement, très peu de vaisselle,très peu de linge (2 petites serviettes de toilette, pas tapis de douche) et le logement pas propre à notre arrivée.

Die unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage. Von unserem Bungalow hatten wir einen einmaligen Blick über den Golf von Neapel. Die Betreiber sind sehr nett und freundlich. Die Bungalows sind sehr einfach eingerichtet aber sauber. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Es vergonzoso que un establecimiento turístico esté en éstas condiciones. No hay nada de mantenimiento, el agua del wc perdía, el entorno sucio y abandonado. Te cobran una tasa para usar el aire condicionado en pleno verano!
Daba miedo entrar por la noche, no hay luz y ni siquiera recepción después de las 22h. La puerta permanece abierta a cualquier persona así que además es inseguro.

Le seul bémol, il n y'a pas de fan au plafond, nous avons voulu avoir la commande de l'air climatisé, c'était 8euros supplémentaire par jour, dans hôtel.com il mentionne que tout est inclus.. faudrait revoir ça .. on a ouvert les fenêtres et c'était quand même tolérable. Nous avons du demander des serviettes pour la douche, elles n'étaient pas dans la chambre... Le restaurant du site était vraiment bon, le service aussi.. la vue est à couper le souffle, nous avons eu de bon moment dans ce petit village camping....

No se lo recomiendo a nadie, lo único positivo las vistas y que en el restaurante se come muy bien por lo demás los bungalow están viejos y destartalados, llenos de hormigas, los colchones agujereados, las sábanas también, el tubo del fregadero sujeto con un trozo de tela inundaba el armario, la cisterna se enganchaba cada 2por 3. Nos acribillaron los bichos y eso que teníamos aparatos para los mosquitos e insecticida. Teníamos que estar una semana y nos fuimos mucho antes. Det har varit fint men är nu nergånget och inte upprustat på mycket länge. Väldigt omodernt och slitet. Poolen stängs på natten och ska öppna kl 9 men kl 10 var poolsystemet och rengöringen fortfarande inte igångsatt. Vattnet var missfärgat o alldeles stilla så inte badbart på många timmar.

Stedet er i ringe stand. Det er ældre og ikke renoveret, så det er på ingen måde en luksusferie. Husene er gamle og slidte og kvalitet af senge, køkken, møbler etc. er ikke særlig høj. Der er kun det allervigtigste i husene, resten må man købe. Men til gengæld er udsigten helt fantastisk, nærmest ubeskrivelig, både fra husene, poolen og restauranten. Og familien som driver stedet er så venlige og hjælpsomme. Stedet kan anbefales hvis man kun skal bruge et sted til at sove og slappe af ved poolen og ellers vil ud og opleve området.

You live in Bungalows, only some with air-con. Sure you can open windows - but what's fantastic about this place is the surrounding. You are sitting on a cliff some 100m above sea level with fantastic view. The view from the pool and restaurant is one of a kind. Yes, you live a bit (or quite - if you ask my wife :-) ) simple - but we loved it.
You need to ask specifically for air-con and you should also ask for a Bungalow with a great view - because some offers an extraordinary view over Sorrento coast.

Charming and idyllic
Such a charming hotel! Bountiful of Mediterranean plants planted along the whole area, we had a fig tree right outside our bedroom window, and a balcony with a sea view and view over the vesuvio volcano. It's great if for that little extra privacy feeling that a hotel would offer you, but then a again you don't get the smooth priveliges of someone cleaning your room every day. It seemed like a family owned buisniess who offer to go the extra mile for you to have a great stay with them. We had what we needed in our room of kitchen supplies and such, but would recommend bringing extra bathing towels to bring to the beach.
I'll recommend it for people who would like a charming experience at a good price. The nature and location is GORGEOUS, and the bungalow in private and okay

Grymt läge med fantastisk utsikt mot Sorrento och Capri. Fin pool, terass och flera bungalows med magnifika vyer. Enkelt bungalowboende, lite sisådär med ett och annat. Mycket vänlig och hjälpsam värdfamilj. Men - ligger i princip på en klippvägg, att hitta hit utan bil är inte det lättaste och det är mycket smalt och brant. Om det är ett äventyr att ta sig ned för att parkera är det ännu mer spännande att ta sig därifrån. En liten bil rekommenderas!
