This place is GREAT. It is run by the nicest family and parking is right across the street (paid). Highly reccomend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cubo Apartments, the family who run the Aparthotel are so lovely and welcoming. When we arrived we were treated to welcome drinks which was so appreciated as we‘d had a long drive from Rome. I also have to mention breakfast, which was superb!! Every morning we were given an array of croissants, pastries and fruit and then were offered freshly cooked omelettes (you could chose other eggs but they were sooo good) and fresh tomatoes picked from the families garden. It was by far the best breakfast we’ve all had in a very long time. The apartment we stayed in had a sea view from the main bedroom and the Kitchen and the apartment itself was beautiful, with lots of high tech gadgets and plenty of space. It was perfect for our family of 4 (travelling with a 14 year old and an 18 year old). We would love to stay at Cubo again and I would recommend it as a great base to explore the area as it’s close to the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Sorrento, Naples and Herculaneum. We loved it, thank you

This hotel was spectacular! The view from our balcony was outstanding. The whole apartment/ suite we stayed in was luxurious, safe, and clean. Breakfast was delicious. All four of our family members eat so differently (1 vegan, 1 meat eater, 2 picky kids) yet the chef made breakfast to fit all needs. The best part of our stay was the welcoming staff who made us feel like one of the family. We were very sad to leave and hope to return again one day.

They made whatever we wanted—omelettes, eggs, coffee, and served with a variety of pastries, the freshest sliced tomatoes, and fruit right off the vine! A grocery store is within walking distance. The grocery store does not have fresh fish but Sorrento does. It was a safe and pleasant stay.

This place is a gem. The hospitality, views, accomodations, is all a 10 out of 10... The daily breakfast is delicious. Ana and her family are the true heart of the experience. We did a cooking class with the owner and her daughter and it was a blast. We highly recommend doing the cooking class in a true chef's kitchen...The town is an absolute glory. Everything is within walking distance, no need for a car. The public transportation (trains and buses) are within a 3 minute walk and will get you anywhere. We will be back. It's the perfect tranquil location to come home to after doing all the tourist attractions. A peace of heaven on earth...Love you Ana and your beautiful family...Till we meet again..

Signora Anna runs CUBO Apartments with the assistance of family, especially Federico and Angela. Anna made special efforts to ensure that her guests were comfortable and happy at CUBO. Cubo Apartments is a wonderful gem of a place. A family run boutique hotel/apartment within walking distance to the train station and many fantastic restaurants in the charming and magical town of Vico Equense. Federico was amazing.He arranged our transfer from the Naples train station and was waiting when we arrived with a welcome Aperol Spritz-the best I had in Italy! Mama was a gracious host and made the most amazing breakfast each morning. Our lovely apartment was clean and comfortable. We loved our time there and will certainly be back!

I don’t normally write reviews but wanted to share how wonderful our experience was at Cubo Apartments.
It is a family run hotel and they were all so kind and hospitable to our family. We felt so welcomed by everyone and constantly amazed how they bent over backwards for us. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and the views were amazing. They even upgraded us mid trip so we got the beatiful views overlooking the sea.
The food and drinks were top notch at the hotel, all homemade and a lot from Ana’s garden. My kids loved the fresh juice, homemade pastries and chocolate cake! Breakfast was delicious and customized to what you wanted.
The location was perfect for us with tons of great restaurants options in walking distance. We hit two different beaches within walking distance too. For sightseeing, we did Pompei and Sorrento which were both easy to get to from Vico Equense.
We left with very full hearts from the family’s kindness and would absolutely come back!

From the moment we booked with Cubo Apartments, Frederico was quick to reply any inquiries we had even regarding sight seeing spots. We had no issue finding the place (with the instructions we were provided) and he greeted us at the gate after I had messaged him. The discounted parking in the nearby underground parking lot was a plus as it saved us time. The place was very clean and spacious which is great if you are travelling with children or extended family. Washing machine was inside the apartment unit as well. They were so quick to clean the place daily (one morning even while we were eating breakfast). Frederico's entire family was so welcoming and really made it their mission to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast on site was included and it consisted of a selection of bread, eggs/omelette, fresh fruit, yogurt, juice. Big plus--it's a 5mins walk to the bus station for days you don't feel like driving. Several highly rated restaurants which are walking distance. Highly recommended!

Overall, the apartment was spacious, modern, & comfortable. Underground discounted parking across the street was very convenient, as well as the short walk to the train station. The staff was courteous and responsive. The kitchen had everything we needed. Delicious home-baked pastries were the highlight of the breakfast. But caveat emptor regarding all the confusing descriptions and photos on the major travel sites (Expedia, Travelocity, etc.). We read through all the apartment descriptions and tried to pick one that did not face the street. We saw only one apartment that was listed as having a balcony facing the street/square, so we chose a different one with a \"sea view.\" But our one-bedroom apartment was pretty much \"CITY VIEW\" with 2 tiny balconies affording a side view of the bay through buildings. Our bedroom overlooked a busy street across from an open square. Both nights we stayed, there was a festival from 1900-2400 with people, music, smoke, loudspeakers, and police whistles. The last night of the festival, it ended at 2400 with firecrackers/fireworks in the square that seemed to go on forever. Later, at about 0330, they started breaking down the stage & tents--clanging metal tent posts, trucks backing-up, shouting, etc. Overall, Federico & his family did their best to be accommodating. This would have been an overwhelmingly positive review had it not been for the ambiguous descriptions and photos on the various sites leading us to a noisy stay and little sleep.

This was one of the most impressive places we stayed. High tech amenities. Federico was an amazing host. We started with a welcome cocktail, then he booked us a last minute boat excursion to Amalfi and Positano. The ocean view was spectacular The morning breakfast was amazing with the sweetest people taking care of us. This is a must stay. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay at Cubo Apartments
We loved our stay at Cubo Apartments! It was in a great town where we walked everywhere. We loved the square full of restaurants, bakeries, GELATO VENDORS, etc. We drove to many nearby towns and attractions, and it was a very convenient location. The owners were wonderful and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend Cubo Apartments!

Our unit was a very nice, modern, \"smart\", 2-bedroom 2-bath, with living room and full kitchen apartment, with balcony. This is a family run and owned small hotel and the owners were very gracious. Alphonso, the dad, spoke English and was very friendly, accommodating, and generous. His wife, Anna, is the chef and baker, very pleasant and charming, and we enjoyed one of the best meals we had during our 2 weeks in Italy. Other family members were also very pleasant and helpful. The only downside was that parking was in a garage a block away, but in Italy, that is quite accessible. Great views of the Bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius We definitely will stay again in Cubo Apartments if/when we return to Vico Equense.

The hotel offers breakfast in the morning, though they initially do not offer you the menu; they simply ask, \"What would you like to eat?\" Which is a bit strange, until you realize later that there is a menu at the reception, just not in the dining area.They had gorgeous cakes (for breakfast!) as well as eggs to order, croissants, yogurts, etc.

Really comfortable apartment with family
We stayed 4 nights at the hotel. It has a great view to the Ocean with a large terrace. the facility is modern and new and comfortable with my young son. a few steps to the train station to travel to Sorrento or Pompeii.

The Cubo apartments are very close to Vico Equense station, making it ideal for travelling to other locations. The family and staff who worked there were very welcoming and friendly. The apartment was very spacious and had everything that we needed. The apartment was cleaned every day. There were many restaurants from which to choose including one in the complex. The supermarket was also just a short distance. The location also proved ideal when we had to find a hospital due to a fall. Vico Equense Hospital Emergency Department was 5 minutes walk and provided excellent care for a fractured finger.

LOVED it here!! Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights. We were welcomed with Prosecco. The hosts were amazing. There were 11 of us and we stayed up the street in a two-suite five-bedroom unit that could have slept 16 comfortably. The suites were newly-renovated, clean, and big. We had a kitchen, washer & dryer, and balcony. We had an amazing family-style, home-cooked meal (thank you, mamma) at their restaurant with amazing views of Mt. Vesuvius on one side and your typical string-lit Italian street on the other. Will definitely come back and stay longer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Go to Gabriella's down the street for the best gelattos - this is not an exaggeration.

The Cubo apartments was a great place to stay, with excellent rooms, great, friendly, staff and lovely food. We were upgraded to the Europa Suite, which was lovely, having fantastic views over the Bay of Naples and private sunbathing on your own terrace. My wife and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We arrived at Cubo Apartments with our group of 5 people and had the immediate good fortune of being offered an excellent upgrade, to move to the Oceania and Africa rooms, which were two rooms located on the same floor of the main apartment building. Both had incredible views and were amazingly modern in their design and equipment. I never did see what our original offsite apartment looked like, but for sure these two rooms were wonderful.
Equally surprising was the family atmosphere promoted by the owner, his wife who served as the restaurant head chef, and 2 of his 4 daughters who we met and served us, and were incredibly accommodative. They took every action I could ask for to encourage us to enjoy our stay, and to want to return!
One advantage to being in this Apartment was its close proximity to the train station. It is definitely walking distance, just around the corner from the station, but folks should be aware that it is up a slight incline. But Sorrento is only two stops away (10 mins on train) and Pompeii is only 5-6 stops the other direction (about 25 mins on train).

Beautiful, clean, spacious apartments, a very warm welcome and friendly service. Nearby road a little noisy at times but the location with views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples made up for that, and the convenience of being only two minutes walk to the train station made it very easy for us to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento. Would definitely stay here again if we get a chance to return to the area.

We stayed in the Asia apartment for 5 nights, 9/30-10/5, and had a wonderful time! We had three people in the apartment - 2 adults and one 23 year old, and had plenty of room. Stefania, Salvatore, Michele, Alfonso and Ana were excellent and made us feel like family! We looked forward to breakfast every morning as the selection and variety of food available was plenty. We ate dinner the first night we arrived and it was fantastic - fresh clam dish, pumpkin ravioli and beef special. The apartment was spacious and up to date with a view of Napoli Bay. Upon arrival Stefania greeted us with a cold drink and some wonderful conversation. Throughout our stay the staff was always available for advice and information. We felt like family by the end of our stay and we will be returning to Cubo Apartments when we return to Italy.

It was a wonderful stay, the evening manager, Stefania (I believe that is her correct name) was wonderful. The apartment was great, I loved the loft area that I slept in. It can very comfortably accommodate 1-2 families, depending on the number of children.

Good hotel with range of appartments. Our one bed apartment was a good size with all ameneties included. Staff were really freiendly and helpful. Only slight downside was that as our apartment was on the front there was some traffic noise in the morning but this was compensated by the great view of the Bay of Naples.

I stayed I the Asia apartment with my wife and 2 teenage children for 6 nights. The Cubo apartments are very high quality and we felt very well looked after by our hosts. They are family run and we were able to explore the area from Pompeii to Amalfi. The train station is only a short 2 minute walk away.
The town of Vico Equense is beautifully perched up on the hills with wonderful views of Vesuvius.

The first, and best place we stayed in Italy!!!
This is a family owned hotel. The family lives down the street, and their garden their supplies their kitchen. The food is fresh and fabulous. The accommodations are beyond expectations. The view is amazing, the furnishings, and appointments are clean, bright, and brand new. We lived in luxury and comfort while we were there. We had a fully equipped kitchen, with an oven, stove top, and large refrigerator. We were able to buy fresh produce and meat/poultry just a few blocks away, and prepare it ourselves. This is a must for me, because I am both chemically sensitive, and have multiple food allergies, sensitivities, and digestive issues. Because of my food issues, and poor Italian language skills, I was actually given a tour of the hotel/restaurant's wonderful kitchen, and believe me the rest of my family enjoyed the food they prepared. This was done in an effort to convince me that their food would be safe for me. How sweet is that. We felt like we had made friends, staying in this family's hotel, and hope to return to Vico Equense and visit them again. It was a great value, and I would highly recommend staying there if you are visiting the Amalfi-Sorrento coast. The view of the Bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius is outstanding.

We only stayed here for one night, but were thoroughly impressed with the apartment. The decor was stunning, and the views from our 2 balconies over the Bay were beautiful. The hotel is a good base to visit Pompei or Capri being close to the train station. Appartments are nicely decorated and restaurant is good. However, the town, Vico Equense, is not nice and the hotel is located on a busy street. Overall, I consider that it was overpriced.

Owner and family go out of their way to make your stay as great as possible. Positioned 5 minutes from station and bus stop to Naples airport 2 minutes away, The rooms were modern and met all criteria - Africa unit was off the street , kitchen and balcony and masterbedroom all view over Vesuvius. Our room America suited our needs only downside on the street and can be noisy at business hours but the positive outweighed the negatives here. Brilliant stay.
