The staff at the hotel were friendly and very accommodating. We loved the variety of restaurant options and the view at breakfast looking over the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius was stunning! We found it easy to get into Sorrento via train (a 10 minute walk, followed by a 10 minute journey) and we would not hesitate to come again. A true 5 star experience!

Hotel is gorgeous!!! Views are amazing. Staff very friendly and prompt. Chicken club at the restaurant pool bar best ever. Breakfast on the patio when you add the views words cannot describe. Lucciano was the best bartender on the Amalfi Coast .

Receptionist breath stunk the day we checked in and stunk the next morning when we chet out. There was no shower, the trip to the beach was the most dangerous road in the world, the townspeople was crazy, food at hotel was not good, waiter moved my napkin with a KNIFE, we decided to checkout within hours of check in. They refused to give us a refund even for the full days we were not there. I understand a prepaid room but when you get there and find out it's not what you believed it to be paying for. The night you stayed is fair. When you leave. You should not have to pay for the rest of the stay.

I was very impressed with the staff and the customer service at the hotel. I am extremely grateful to have found this place, as it allowed me to feel rested after leaving the crowded tourist areas. The hotel staff was professional and exceptionally kind, making us feel like family with their caring attitude and commitment to ensuring we had the best stay possible. I experienced this warmth during my interactions with everyone, including the front desk staff, restaurant servers, housekeeping, and even the shuttle driver. Annalisa and Emanuela truly stood out as the best!

The food at the restaurant was well-prepared and delicious, and the servers provided excellent service with great attention to detail. Thank you, ladies, for making my birthday celebration so special. We look forward to visiting again!

The staff was amazing and very responsive. The location is incredibly convenient to the rail system. I cannot say how much we appreciated the front desk and restaurant staff. They were so kind. We were delayed from one of our outings due to the trail derailment on 4/17/25 and they were so kind to us when we finally got back.

Smart hotel and excellent staff. Clean. Location short walk from train station to access Pompeii and Sorrento and shuttle bus from hotel in morning and evening into local town Vico Equense which is ok but not as vibrant or charming as position or Sorrento. Quite expensive and dining options predominantly around fish dishes and a la carte pricey.

A smart well run hotel I agree but we had two big bugbears. For a 5 star hotel room our room was small. I knew this in advance and I've been in smaller rooms. I have never been in a worse designed bathroom though. Sitting on the toilet there was no legroom so we had to sit at 45 degrees. We got used to this. The bigger problem was the pool. The idea of the break was to soak up the sun but the pool had a total of 18 beds and the ones in the sun were quickly taken. It was also at the side of the hotel so in the morning one side of the pool had the sun in the afternoon it was the other side. We were only able to take advantage of the pool once.

Friendly staff, clean, delightful breakfast and amazing view from the restaurant and swimming pool. But the rooms/ bathrooms are too small, with a super small window. Small window and not enough lighting made hard to see or read. No Iron.
Outside food is not allowed. You need a car to get around. Not much to do around the area.

The only thing negative is that the a/c was not up to par for a 5 star hotel. Aside from that the hotel met all expectaions. The manager, Dominico went over and above what was expected.
Also , all the people at the desk , especially Ida was great.

I love this property! The staff is amazing. If you are worried about being too remote from Sorrento, the train is a few minutes away and is just 10 minutes to Sorrento. One of the highlights of our vacation!

The location of this property is a convenient train ride away from main sorrento square. Very far from amalfi coast. Very difficult to get taxi or book excursions if not done in advance. Hotel staff were nice but not that helpful when it came to getting transportation/trying to book something to do. Breakfast Included option was nice. Hotel in quiet location and standard rooms are very small. If you’re looking to explore this is not the place to stay.

This hotel was just fabulous. Booked after reading reviews for our party of 12 to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had a wonderful five nights here. The staff at breakfast, at dinner and in the bar could not have done more for us. The rooms aren't huge but are very nice, downstairs rooms with a small patio particularly lovely. Spectacular sunset views from the pool and the terrace and the bar. Absolute highlight was breakfast. We will definitely be back.

Excellent! The staff were amazing, the food superb and the hotel incredible. We haven't been abroad for 3 years and decided to treat outselves. We picked right! A stunning location with views of Vesuvius and the evening sunset while having dinner. Train station less than 10 mins walk for easy access to Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples! Free shuttle to the marina below the hotel. Would recommend and come back!

The staff is 5 star. They go out of their way for you, in a friendly, helpful way. The free breakfast was as good as i have have. meats, cheese, eggs, salmon, fresh fruit, fresh juices, pastries, prosecco, and many more items. Amazing property with beautiful views and wonder staff who were kind enough to help us change a flat tire on arrival. Room was tasteful and clean. The breakfast was a full assortment of both hot & cold delicious foods. Our only complaint was the rooftop hot tub was set to a chilly 90F & couldn’t be raised even when we asked.

We were always a little hesitant booking direct however from the moment we arrived we knew we’d stumbled across something special! Great hotel tour upon arrival, delightful setting overlooking Mt Vesuvius and the bay of Sieano. A great size hotel and always easy to get a spot by the pool or in the hot tub on the roof! To top it off, there’s a great (Michelin star?!) restaurant on site too - we loved it.

Incredible hotel!

The hotel was incredible and the service was impeccable. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast each morning looking over mount Vesuvius. Shuttle bus to the local town, train station and marina was a great touch and the reception staff were always so helpful. The cleaners were amazing also, always said good morning to us and even apologised once that they were unable to clean our room before we left for the day (around 11am something we didn’t expect at all!) Our room was even cleaned during the time we went down for breakfast, absolutely incredible!
Bar staff were lovely and welcoming every night too. The hotel incredible, the pool, the bar, roof terrace and breakfast terrace gives you plenty of opportunity to experience the views and sunsets!
We were a little hesitant that we were staying a few miles outside of Sorrento however we definitely made the right choice! There are so many great restaurants around Seiano, Vico Equense and the marina. We were away from the hustle of Sorrento but still able to visit the neighbouring towns including sorrento within 10 mins with the local train station (10 min walk)

The only thing I would suggest would be to include a full length mirror in the room (only above the sink in the bathroom) and a facility to complete your own ironing.

Absolutely incredible place, and would visit again in a heart beat!

Fantastic hotel, located in a quieter section of the Sorrentine Peninsula. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The view from the hotel terrace is breathtaking. The staff incredibly courteous, attentive to your needs and very helpful. Breakfast was very good - one of best I have experienced in my travels.

Overall, a fantastic hotel in a quieter location that allows you to admire the area's natural beauty without the hordes of tourists ever present in Positano, Sorrento and Amalfi.

We had an absolutely horrible experience at this hotel. The management was very unpleasant, the room was like being in a closet it was so small, there was nothing to do in the surrounding area, it was very overpriced for what you get. Much nicer places to stay for the money.

Quiet and relaxing hotel not far from Pompei

Fabulous hotel with really friendly staff. Great service throughout. Amazing views over the Bay of Naples which you can see from the jacuzzi on the roof. Lovely restaurant in the grounds of the hotel serving that most delicious pizza and pasta dishes. The hotel is also just a short 10 minutes from the metro and you can be in Pompei in about 30 minutes. Would recommend this hotel.

Our Romatic Get Away Break

We had an amazing stay. The hotel had wonderful views and was well located to see all the main sites. It had a great Pizza restaurant, which was really convenient after days out site seeing. There was also a gourmet restaurant, but we didn't have time to use this, but the menu look fab. The staff were really helpful with sightseeing advice and we booked a tour to Capri through them which was one of the highlights of our stay. There is a really nice atmosphere and great spaces to relax either in the bar, by the pool or in the hot tub on the rooftop terrace. I would defiantly stay again or recommend this hotel to friends.

Very noisy.
There is a problem that the water in the shower makes a lot of noise, even from the nearby rooms.
So we got up at 6 am because the guest from the next room came into the shower.
In addition, the shower is very high and dangerous and can slip easily.

Good, not fantastic.

It would have been easier to give higher marks, if this wasn't a pricy 4 star hotel. Though the exterior of this epic location is superb, the breakfast is delightful, and the updated bathroom feels luxurious, the room itself and the bar is another story. The room has a tiny TV with cables messily snaking along the wall, and there's an old couch in the room that has been there much too long. (My partner has a dust mite allergy, and of the hundreds hotels we have stayed in, only 2 hotel rooms have aggravated it; this was one of them.) The towel rack heater in the bathroom did not work, though 3 visits to the front desk came with promises that it would 'soon'... The 'bar' has a cold and unfinished afterthought feeling, with one bar stool, no art, and soaring high prices with no extra little salty snacks, unless you sit on the patio as then the view will take your breath away. Nice place, gorgeous country, so therefore hard to be tough on the review side of things.

We stay in this hotel 2 nights /3 days and park our Rent A-car from Avis for additional 3 days(time that we cross to Capri) staff parked my car in the underground parking ,and brought back on our day to check-out ,when I asked staff member about scratch on the vehicle that was not present 5 days ago ,he offer to check on security camera if any damage they cause, but for me that was waisting of my time since I did know the answer.As result of this I have charge of C$-821.53 from Avis Roma on my Visa, even that staff never pre-check vehicle with me for pre-existing damage, and the fact ,that I refuse to sign final paper admitting that actually damage was made by me ,which is NOT.

The hotel does not have the facilities for a 5 star rate. We've been around many 5 star hotels in the world and the rooms are smaller than usual. (considering is a small luxury hotel). The hotel staff could do better, they don't take the extra step to help you at all. The nicest person was Matteo. The food is very good and the restaurant is highly recommended. The views of the hotel are privileged!

Good hotel, staff are friendly and spoke English. Good location if you have a rental car and can explore the rest of the Amalfi coast. Room was smaller than what we expected, TV was the size of a computer monitor and the room seemed a little outdated (old technology, old shower head, old closet hinges). All in all though, good stay.

This is a special Hotel because of its location overlooking the Bay of Naples. But our room on level 3 was small and not very practical. Just a tub and handhold shower in the bathroom. Difficult from that standpoint. The Terrace was fabulous though.

Pompeii 10 stops in opposite direction well worth a visit.

The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The hotel is a little far from Sorrento if that's where you're planning to spend your time, but the views from the hotel are spectacular. Although the staff was nice, they neglected to tell us when they were booking car service for us that instead of adding the car charges to our hotel bill, that we would have to pay for all of the cars in cash at the end of our stay. We had several cars booked on different days, so multiple staff members neglected to tell us this information. Thank god we had enough Euros left on us to pay for the cars, but we had JUST enough. It was very unprofessional for no one to let us know that we couldn't pay for the cars with a credit card. It also just seemed a little sketchy that we had to pay for black cars with cash. Any reasonable car service company accepts credit cards.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in!

Small rooms did not have coffee machine in the room, tiny TV, problems with the WIFI.
After a long drive from Rome to Sorrento we did not receive any especial attention from a 5 star hotel, they did not give us anything to drink or a warm towel to refresh when we arrive, the parking was very difficult to access and the facilities were closed at 11pm with no area available for Socializing after that hour.
Our friends were celebrating their wedding anniversary and they did not allow us to uncork a special bottle of champagne that they had keept for the occasion, they did not congratulate them nor did they have any gesture for be celebrating the special occasion in their hotel as is usual in hotels of this category. During the breakfast they did not had the outside area that has the beautiful Vesuvius and the Amalfitana coast view available to sit down because as it had rained the night before but they did not cleaned it, I found it to be unacceptable since that area is the most beautiful of the hotel.
They did not have room service at night just cool appetizers.
When I asked to speak to the manager the employees at the front desk reported that the manager was not there and that the manager was the owner, the employees acted as if they feared the owner.
This hotel despite its beautiful view and good location is not even remotely a 5 stars and does not deserve to belong to SLH since its strict policies, facilities and standards do not measure up to such exceptional classificatio

Outstanding view.

We were 4 couples and booked 4 rooms. We came mid Sep 2016. One of the 4 rooms was not good due to its small size and bathroom difficult to access. The Hotel team were very helpful and very kind, they changed the room and did their best to please us. The view from the restaurent balcony where we took our daily breakfast is outstanding and marvelous. The Bar food was great. We were granted the access to the parking where we parked our car. The weather was very nice but chilly so we couldn't use the swimming pool but it was appealing as it has a very nice view toward the coast and Vesuvius. The location is 20min to Sorrento, 35min to Positano, 20min to Pompeii. The location very convenient.
In general the hotel is great and I strongly recommend to stay there.

Nice hotel with amazing views

This hotel has amazing views and breakfast was really good. The staff were very helpful apart from the night staff who gave us wrong info twice, we had a standard room which was nice but very small. Handy for Sorrento as its only ten mins on the train or a taxi is 40 euros. We would stay here again.
