Room was clean. I went to dine n food was great. Next day seen extra chargers from dining bill. So before breakfast I decided to go down to the guest services associate (gentleman ) that was there and asked him about my bill. At no point was I asking for a refund. Simply asking for the bill to be explained to me as I wanted to understand the chargers. As he looks at me with confusion and says he is confused. He states that the gentleman serving me that evening wouldn’t jeopardize his job and lie on the bill. He then asked me what was I looking to get? if I was looking to get refunded or money back. I was a little thrown back and then told him. Am simply looking to get an explanation to the bill amount as I didn’t understand the chargers to something I never received at the dinner. They truly think everyone is out to get money or for scams.

From check in to check out the staff is amazing. We were greeted with a smile, quick check in and warm cookies. The hotel is well maintained and extraordinarily clean. Our room was welcoming. The beds and bedding very comfortable. We had the breakfast buffet two mornings. The food fresh and tasty. Our server was top notch. We had a late lunch at Cheers. Also, the food was delicious. I cannot say enough great things about this property. Kudos to the Manager for providing us with a 5+star experience. Expect us on a revisit.

The best and most convenient place to stay if you are attending any events at the Santander Arena.

The rooms are a bit out dated. The carpet is falling apart. The mini fridge is tucked into a cabinet and frozen over. I myself had to spend about an hour to thaw it out. Otherwise the fridge is useless.

The hotel itself is near/ next to railroad tracks and if you are unfortunate enough... trains will go by sounding their horns as they pass. Which the windows are so thin, it sounds like you are right next to the train.

Overall the convience and the staff make it halfway decent.

The hotel was nice enough but it’s located next to some very active railroad tracks. The train’s blew their whistles several times each time they passed by, about 4 times between 11pm and 8am. We complained to the front desk. They acknowledged the trains and told us there was 1 pair of earplugs in the room. Totally ineffective. Will never stay at this Doubletree when visiting are children again and will avoid other Doubletree (Hilton) locations in the future.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. Both times it has exceeded our expectations. Every employee we came in contact with was so nice and so helpful. The room is spotless and so comfortable. We used the pool this time with our granddaughter and loved it. We have nothing negative to say about this hotel. Will definitely be back!

The room was great, but there were some stains on the sofa which were concerning... but the room was excellent and felt like home..My new wife even said that it was the best hotel room she has ever stayed in but if you check your records, I have stayed in a couple of Double trees and love the rooms with the jacuzzi's!

Friendly staff, clean room, modern appeal, convenient parking all were excellent! Te only downside is the train tracks right beside the hotel. Trains by law must blow their horns while coming through residential crossing and it is very load at night. We had two trains come through while sleeping.

This hotel is beautiful. Very clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was very outgoing and pleasant. We had dinner at the lounge and went back at night for a bowl of ice cream and chocolate martini. I highly recommend.

First time staying at this hotel in Reading, PA. It was a little jarring being ao close to a university and seeing so few people after sundown -- something to consider if you're not from the area and staying during the week (as opposed to a weekend). Welcoming staff and a great property otherwise.

Try to remember NOT to pay for parking in the garage when you're checking in!

Things my go-to hotel, whenever I come to Reading. For 1… the warm cookies are to die for. Check in is so easy. Breakfast OMG 10/10 and only $15-17 (make sure to stop at the omelette table) room is clean and it’s always a vibe.
