Dirty sheets and pillow cases. They must just be making beds in between guests instead of putting fresh linens on beds. They gave us another room. Same exact problem! Hairs and stains on pillow cases. Hairs on sheets. All different types. Wow it was disgusting. I asked the front desk and housekeeper at the same time how this even happens. Nothing. They just blankly stared at me. They were embarrassed and they should be. Disgusting do NOT stay there. Not even a partial refund to make up for it either. Never again!

The surroundings are nice, lots of trees and grass. Other hotels near by are nice and the neighborhood was quiet.

Problem is mostly with the cleanliness. The towels seemed previously used, not washed. The floors were vacuumed but not washed. There are stains on walls, doors, furniture. Someone left a frozen soda can that exploded in the fridge. It does not cost more to clean the rooms properly.

Clients were smoking pot in their rooms, it smelled in my room. This is unacceptable. Some kids kept yelling all evening. Not a great stay. But the price is cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.

It could have been a great stay but cleanliness is the major issue there.

The beds were uncomfortable, when using the heat you could never get the temperature to be anything comfortable. It was either way too hot or way too cold and the air would get so dry my nose bled. The coffee pot hasn't been cleaned and who knows how long. It still had a used dirty coffee filter all dried up with coffee in it. In the morning I went to leave after 10:00 a.m. and there was an ice storm the night before and it was nothing but a sheet of ice from the door all over the sidewalk and parking lot and they did not have one single piece of salt put down. This was 10:15 a.m. and the storm was finished by 4:00 a.m. they only started bringing salt outside at almost 11:00 a.m. while I was cleaning off my car. I almost fell three different times just going from their door down the sidewalk and across the parking lot. I was also charged a $50 deposit or fee or whatever when I got there which I was not told about on hotels.com when I paid for the reservation and I still have not gotten that back yet and it's been 2 days.

There was blood splatter on lamp shade, bathtub and comforter. Walls had damage to them and doorframes were chipped. Hadn’t been painted in decades probably! Awful. My daughter-in-law wouldn’t let me stay and immediately took me to another hotel. Front desk still charged me for the night even tho I was there a total of ten minutes. Horrible place.

Gross and disgusting. I booked 2 rooms for myself, husband and 5 kids to stay at after a 6 hour over night drive and day at Hershey Park. When you walk in the lobby you smell stale cigarettes and weed. I was willing to let some things slide because of the price point. I had called ahead asking if they had portable cribs for my babies but they said no, so we brought our own. We were assigned two room (not adjoining like we had booked) on the second floor with no elevator access. So we hauled everything up the smelly staircase. When we got the rooms we were met with a dirty room. Urine and make up stained bedding, dead bugs, mold in the bathroom, scuffed walls, flooring pulling up. My final straw was the milky, cloudy water that came from the sink. Couldn’t even brush my kids teeth. We had checked in at 3:00 and we were loading everyone up to leave just hours later because there was no way I could have my family stay there. The front desk offered no assistance or remedies to the issues, just let me know there was no way I would be refunded even when I had not even asked for one. 100% do not recommend.

Although the staff was friendly, we will never stay here again. It says that they’ve renovated, but it must not be a recent renovation because it felt dated and the door was stained and the paint was scraped and chipped on the doors and trims. The room was not properly cleaned. The tub was dirty to the point where you could see the dirt ring around the tub. They said they had no other rooms available for us to switch to. They brought us cleaning spray and cleaning rags, that looked just like the towels and rags in the room for us, but I had to clean it myself. The hand towels were dirty and stained. Not enough towels were given for the 4 people in the room. Asked for additional towels. However, housekeeping came into our room the next day, even though we asked them not to, and they took the towels and wash cloths. Had to ask for towels again, but all they had to give us were hand towels. This made for an uncomfortable experience.

The first night, there was a dog barking until 1:00 a.m.
Man screamed no repeatedly at the top of his lungs like he was being murdered
If someone wasn't throwing up in the hall, they were certainly sounding like it, and we could hear it in our bedroom like they were on our bed puking

The dog down the hall only barked until midnight30
Someone smoked so much weed in the hallway that I had my first asthma attack in 25 years
When I called down to the desk to report this, the response was\"we will deal with it when they check out\"
I was tempted to call the police on this hotel, during this situation

This place was so badly maintained that our chair had knife cuts in it, blood on the right arm of the chair and on the seat of the chair.
We had some sort of black scuff marks all over the floor??

And then, as we went to check out, I was yelled at by the person who came in to take my card for not just leaving my card on a desk??

I didn't even write this review until I was sure with my bank that they would not be billing me for anything further. I called them to reports that this had occurred while we were there, and that we had left the hotel room and better condition than we found it.
This hotel is not worth the extra $20 you save.
You may not wake up with kidneys.

Oh, it wasn't till I was looking up photos that I remember that when we came in it looked like all of the sheets and blankets were stained with some unknown substance??

This was a last minute one night stay. Don’t let the pictures fool you like they did me. They look new and modern but in reality the room was dated, wood floors stained and had repair patches. The white bedspread had stains. It served its purpose and I’m glad I’ll never have a reason to go back. Staff was very nice tho.

The only likeable part was a comfortable bed. The facility has no elevator for the second floor (not disclosed when booking). I am 79 years old and having to go up stairs to the second floor with luggage is not acceptable. TV did not work upon arrival. Soap dispenser on wall was empty! Desk clerk gave me a small tube (.75 ounces), but not enough to be able to take a shower! No glasses or cups for water to take my nightly pills. The next morning discovered the carafe was missing for the in room coffee maker with no cups, despite the packets with coffee and sugar!! The carpeting on steps and hall were filthy. A thorough cleaning is definitely needed to make this site bookable. This site certainly merits a visitation by the Red Roof management.

Won’t stay here again!

The hotel was less that appealing on arrival including the lobby that contained only vending machines, a dirty coffee maker and a sofa. The hallways and doors were scratched up and the first room they gave us they could not get the door open due to the interior lock sticking. The room we ended up with was not bad at first sight but as we were there I noticed hairs on the floor in the bathroom including the toilet and tub. The floors in the room looked like they could use a good cleaning. The freezer section of the fridge was a frozen block which was unfortunate as I needed to freeze my ice packs. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and clean. Overall this is not somewhere i would stay again, but we made due. Also, at 1015 the staff were knocking on our door to see if we were gone, we planned to check out at 11, but felt pressured to leave sooner.

Decent for the price and nice to walk to the Dunkin Donuts right behind the building. However, check out was at 11. at 10:50 they knocked on the door. I said we we getting the last of our things together and we would be out in a few minutes. I walk out alone with a few bags and as soon as I walk out the worker asked if he could go in. I said no that I had more bags and my partner was still in there. As I came back in he followed me down the hallway. I asked him to stop following me, and that I was really grabbing one more set of bags and leaving. I know we were getting out a few minutes late (less than 10), but it made me uncomfortable and I think it could have been handled better.

We had a nice stay and this red roof inn was exactly what we expected for the price. We had our dog with us, so this was a convenient place to stay and we were pleasantly surprised to find that there was no pet fee for just one dog. The second or more pets are $15 each. The condition of the hotel was older and less clean than some places, but we appreciated the updated vanities and floors in the rooms; it was in better condition than the hallway. The linens were older as well, but we had what we needed.

What the heck is with metal flashing around the bed bottoms thatyou kicked anytime you moved towards the bed. Heard that sound all night from myself and other rooms. We stayed 3 nights we got there after 7 pm driving from Rhode Island we checked in employee was friendly and we got in the room the tv wasn’t working had to wait till 8:15 ish for someone to come in and fix it. Bed was comfortable pillows were a little flat , I brought one with me I always do when I travel. The bathroom was dirty hairs on the floor and rings around the toilet and tub, mirrors was also dirty dusty lamps with a stain on one of the shade. Everytime we left and came back the key card would not work and had to wait in the lobby for the employee to activate it I guess other guests had the same issue. The hallway stinks of cigarettes. Front lobby was cleaner than the room but overall ok..

I wish every room has a DO NOT DISTURB sign.
Some of the sheets weren't properly washed. The top sheet on our bed had tiny human hairs.

Other than that, the room was clean. There wasn't any strange smell inside the room but the smell of cigarette smoke outside was too strong.

The stuff was average.

They did what they had to do nothing more, nothing less.

I rented 2 rooms for 2 couples. The door was unlocked in my room would not lock. The sheets had makeup all over them and lipstick. There was a used rubber in the trash can and the floor was dirty. The other room had pubes on the toilet, rips in the sheets and was equally dirty. We immediately left and spoke to a guy in the parking lot who was staying there since his house caught fire recently. He said he sees rats all the time there. Totally disgusting!!!

We arrived and could barely understand the person at front desk . The lobby was dirty and unkept. The person at front desk was rude and unwilling to help with concerns and questions we had . Please don't stay here! The front desk staff was rude to my mom, friends, and me. My friends wanted to see the room before checking in, but after the experience, they asked me to cancel their reservation. However, the hotel refused to cancel it once they arrived. There was noise during quiet hours, and someone was using the washing machine between 12 and 2 a.m., which caused my service dog to bark all night. They overcharged me. I requested new towels but never received them, and the ones provided were stained. There's a scratch on the door that my dog didn’t make, and at night, we could smell weed in the building. Plus, there was no 'Do Not Disturb' sign in the room, and the hallway smelled like smoke in the morning.

One towel, needed to ask for additional, The one they gave me was paper thin. The coffee urn (1) was empty, indicated to clerk there was none, desk person took his break & never made additional . At that point we had to leave.
Hot- cold shower lever was reversed... Giving difficulty to get hot water.
Sunday morning, no hot water for a shower.
Sink faucet water was cloudy for water to take medicine.

OUTDATED. Beds are hard. Pillows are flat and hard. Towels are stiff and stained. Bathtub is DANGEROUS as it is not non-slip. Shower curtain was not waterproof…leaked water all over floor causing yet another slip hazard. Electrical outlets are worn out and would not hold a plug. Bathroom socket kept tripping while using hair dryer.
Front desk staff were rude and non attentive. No elevator. Halls and stairways not air conditioned and HOT. Steep steps made carrying luggage upstairs difficult.
Walls are thin. Neighbors were loud and left their TV on all day and all night. Will never stay here again. Definitely NOT worth the price.

The bed topper required changing. it appeared to have blood stains and other stains.It should have NEVER been put on a bed. An adjacent room we were shown had similar conditions. The sheet metal bed frame liner flexed and made a booming sound like a garbage dumpster being dropped. Who came up with this idea?! Staff seemed all rather disinterested.We also discovered the tub drained super-slow. Disgusting. I showed staff the still standing water an hour later. How could housekeeping clean the tub properly? And a $50 security deposit? I could argue for a full refund.
