We stopped over for a quick night sleep and breakfast. Entrance way, first opinion, was full of bagged salt and a stored snowblower. All necessary equipment, but could have been stored another place. The frig for storing the yogurt and butter and such was in a corner and the door hinge was on the wrong side that couls easily been reversed. Also, this frig was cramped in the corner with a table hindering access. Small things like the manager's office door was open at the front desk and this office was a wreck. Not a professional first impression.

All the juice was out. When told only oj was stocked. The pastries looked and tasted like they were what stores reduce price on cause of date. The fruit was drying out. Our bedding was dirty. The bathtub had hair in it. We asked to not stay where it was to noisy. And we got put right by a high school wrestling team and a barking dog and a crying baby. The hotel was extremely outdated. I will never return. Or recommend this place.

I've been staying at this location for over a decade and it's typically been a nice clean hotel. Over the last couple years after it was sold it has gone down hill dramatically. They are currently painting some of the rooms and oddly over the stained room doors, but it's obviously not being done by a professional. There are water leak stains in the ceilings, and their painter is just painting over light switches and fixtures. The building is not being kept up and it's getting progressively worse. I currently have no plans to return.

On the upside, the staff has always been nice and the breakfast is adequate. It's a shame that this property has become so run down.

The main door lock was hard to keep locked but we got it to work. the hotel had a weird musty smell all around it too. about a year ago we enjoyed our stay a lot but this time it just seemed much different. room overall was clean, bed and pillows not the best but for a quick trip it’s fine

Could not stay so lost a couple hundred dollars..Outside building was not at all as pictured. I saw plastic on a window and the curtains looked terrible from the outside. I walked i and it was very dark and poorly lit. There were people in the main hallway who looked like employees and were not very professional looking at all..Caution tape outside of an entry door that also had cardboard boxes thrown about. Iwas definitely not sleeping there so my husband and I left and drove 2 hrs home. I definitely would not recommend this hotel and not sure I will use Expedia again after this due to the review given on your site..

I was thoroughly impressed as usual. I have stayed at comfort Inn in Ronks Lancaster, I never felt disappointed. This comfort Inn in New Holland was even better, Aditya the receptionist was very good and helpful. Place was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, even though there is not much variety of hot food. The attendant there was very helpful and pleasant. My huge thanks to all. Always will recommend this place.

The whole of the hotel’s interior felt very rundown and dark, especially since a few of the lights in the hallway were burnt out.

The bed my husband and I slept in was a bit tired and maybe in need of a replacement. Neither of us slept well as a result.Bathroom also had an eerie warm light and was cramped.

The key cards also did not work well and looked a bit worn. The front desk clerk was also rude about helping us get into our room, and tried to mansplain how to use the keycard to me -.-

Only positive of this place was the breakfast-especially for the waffle with the Amish horse and buggy stamp!

Glad I only stayed here for a night-not worth being here longer than that

The wall behind the bathroom door had been very crudely patched where the door knob had broken the drywall, the bottom of the bathroom door was broken and pieces were missing. But the worst part of the stay was that we were given the wrong room. We had reserved a king bed with a separate seating area and were given a two queen room. I couldn't check the reservation through Expedia because for some reason I couldn't receive my itinerary number from Expedia Customer Service. So, unfortunately I will not be staying at this location in the future not will I be booking any more trips through Expedia.

We were supposed to have a non- smoking room. It was awful so staff gave us another room. At first it snelled fresh, but after a few minutes of entering, it also smelled smoky. We were awakened overnoght by the smell of food, followed by the stench of pot. What the hell?

Also, we appreciated the coffee maker in our room; it would have been nice to plug it in without moving it.

Lastly, we felt like the commode was baby's first potty. Obnoxiously small and low to the ground.

I was very disappointed. I believe I got food poisoning at the breakfast, and barely slept that night. The next day, I stayed in, hoping to catch up on some sleep. The entrance portico was badly damaged and roped off. It was directly outside my window. The crew started tearing off the portico roof, standing 15-20' from my window at times. There was no sleep. On the 2nd day, the side door being used now as the main entrance came off it's hinges, and was rested against the outside wall, with the doorway wide open (it was 37 degrees that morning!). I won't stay there again.

Let me start out by acknowledging that this is an older property that is in dire need of an upgrade. Currently there is some sort of exterior work going on which so perhaps the interior is next on the schedule?
We had to enter the hotel through the side door because the exterior work was happening at the front of the property. The door on the side of the building was actually removed from its hinges and leaning against the side of the building. In other words, no door, open entry to anyone. It was like that for at least our first 24 hours……so you bet we made sure our room door was locked up tight. On day two they blocked the door with an appliance box and plastic (main door was again functional).
Anyway, hotel is very dated. Hallways and common areas are in sore need of a vacuum and wall sconces have cobwebs in them.
The room itself is tidy, but keep shoes on your feet. Everything in room is old and well worn
The breakfast buffet is not bad considering so many hotels have dropped it. Included eggs, sausage, waggles and the usual assortment of fruits, breads, cereals.
I would not choose to stay here again unless it went through a full refurbishment.

Room was dirty! Lamps have mildew on them. Was told are room was use for storage, then the front desk say it was a mistake. Then entering the room, the window was wide open, smelled like cigarette smoke, smoke detector was wrapped in a garbage bag, which is totally illegal, carpet had stains on them. The only thing about I can say good was the pumpkin spice waffle I made, that’s it. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Sad part is most of the comfort inn are not like this. I don’t blame the brand, I blame the property owner and manager.

Finally got one night out of town with my husband and ended up at a bad hotel. The place is old and outdated. Wish I had taken pictures. Carpets have stains all over. Front desk was very casual about doing anything and not professional. In bedroom we were startled and unsettled to sleep after seeing a huge spider crawling down the drapes that looked like a Brown Recluse that are Poisonous! Had to kill it. Contemplated leaving but was late and didn't know where else to go. Next morning complained and maintenance guy standing at desk shrugged wondering how any bug could come in unless through AC. Worker at desk said he would have manager call us the next day but he never did. We called the day after that and manager not available. Saw other bad reviews and I think manager probably ignores things to not have to deal with it and accept that their place is bad. Would have been a nice weekend if it wasn't for that bad hotel and not getting good sleep. They never gave us a proper receipt either, just had me sign for third party booking for email confirmation and that was it. Very poor service and upkeep of place. Outside entrance was even blocked off due to carport falling apart and being repaired, so you had to come in back side door. I don't know how this place has good stars, must be paid reviews to make them look better than they are.

Once in the room we set the desired climate we wanted. Rooms were very clean. Parking was just a little bit of an issue due to the construction of the front of the hotel. But all in all, it was a very comfortable stay. The staff were all very friendly. I’ve been staying there for the last 5 or 6 years when coming to that area. Will definitely be back as I usually do!
Last but not least , they do have a nice little breakfast !!

There was something sticky on the tv stand and looked like ketchup running down the wall by the table. Everything else looked clean to me but could use a coat of paint on the walls to cover up all the marks. What I liked was they had free breakfast. However only thing I didn’t like was when they didn’t clean our rooms when we left for the day. We have to ask room service. They did not tell us in the beginning about that like they should have. Some hotels clean it without you telling them. I remember I would put my towels on the floor and wait for them to come and clean the place without having to tell them.

The first room we had smelled bad like mildew and mold from the air conditioner and carpet. The second room wasn't much better. On the 3rd night we moved to a upstairs room was much better smelling except when taking a shower the water did not drain well. They need to clean and maintain the air conditioning units better. Will never stay there again. If you have any allergies or asthma do not stay there. 3 rooms in 3 night's my wife and I are not very picky people but i never though it would be this bad.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. We read the reviews before booking & decided to book our stay. It's extremely dated, smelled bad, stained carpet, dated, dated, dated. The window sills were dirty. We decided to open the window for fresh air because it was cool outside & that's when I noticed all the dirt.
We were not able to check in the front of the building due to the breezeway being hit by a tall truck. (No clearance check) That wasn't their fault but it certainly didn't help any.

My husband and I stayed three nights at this hotel. We based our decision on customer ratings. For the life of me, I'm not sure why this hotel is rated so highly. It does have the potential to be an excellent hotel, but there were so many things wrong in our room, I just can't give it the higher rating. The pros are that the breakfast is wonderful! As far as our room goes, the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner was quiet and efficient. The cons were that the room, though it had been \"prepared\" for our arrival was just dirty. The carpet is so deeply soiled, that it needs to be replaced. The loveseat in the room was also very dirty. The bathroom had repairs that had been started long ago but never finished. There were no towel bars anywhere, so we had to ask for fresh towels each day. Normally, we would just hang them up and let them dry and use them again. The furnished shampoo and conditioner dispensers were both almost empty so I was glad I had brought my own. We decided to just stay in the room since it was a holiday weekend and most places were booked. Since we were mostly gone during the day, we didn't complain to the management about the room. We will be contacting corporate about it though. Since both my husband and I have been in property management for over 20 years, we know that it's the little things that seem to get overlooked. This Comfort Inn definitely needs the little things and some of the big things fixed right away.

When we first arrived to check in there was no one at the front desk. We waited for 5-10 mins before anyone came. There was no bell to ring or any phone to call for help. There were 2 other occasions where this happened during our stay. Also rooms were cleaned every 3 days - requests for towels, toiletries, etc had to be made to the staff. It appeared they were short staffed. Curtain was torn, sofa cushions were stained, shower curtain was dark yellow along the bottom - needed washing or to be replaced.
