Lovely quiet BnB in Amish country. I stayed 3 nights and could lay on my four poster king size bed and hear horse and buggies trotting by. Really special. This place is near Paradise, Gordonville, Bird in hand and Intercourse, right in the middle of Amish country and surrounded by fields of corn and soybeans. Beautiful spot, breakfast is great too. You should go, and if you do be sure to eat at Katie's Kitchen a wonderful Amish restaurant 12 minutes down the road. Brian Allen

My wife and I were looking for a getaway and found this amazing place. Chris and Erica and were the perfect hosts of this B&B serving 3 course breakfasts daily. The other guests were from all parts of the country and were the nicest people. All the things we wanted to do were nearby making it the perfect location. This was a memorable weekend.

A soothing stay after a season of COVID craziness
If you are looking a quiet stay close enough to shops and plays, this is the place for you. Wide floorboard comfortable for bare feet, a wonderful breakfast (we had waffles from scratch and very tasty fruit) delightful conversations not to mention the cats lounging around the outside of the home all added to a relaxing ambiance that was just what we needed after some pretty crazy last few months/years. I went outside of the house with my coffee at 7AM to look at the fields and take a nice breath of fresh air and was greeted by all sorts of birds welcoming me. I then heard the clop clop clop of a buggy coming down the road; just perfect. We have already made another reservation a few weeks away; you should too.

Cozy room, clean and soft bed. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was absolutely incredible - probably the best thing about our 2 night stay! Room could have been cleaner..windowsills and wall and floor corners were quite dusty, but not enough so that we didn’t feel comfortable in sleeping and staying there. Overall the stay was lovely and we’d definitely go back!

Cozy Home-Away-From-Home
We had a wonderful stay at the Osceola Mill House! Check out their website before you book to make sure you understand their policies. We have small children, so we stayed in the Carriage House which has a kitchen, a cozy living room with the most comfortable pull out couch/queen bed we've ever slept on. The bathroom is upstairs along with a cozy bedroom with a queen bed. Breakfast was amazing and always freshly prepared and brought to us each morning. We felt like we were staying with relatives because the hospitality was second-to-none! Our kids enjoyed seeing the farmcats and Cow named Miracle in the next door farm. :-) 🚜 🐄 🐈 We had a much needed getaway and we look forward to returning again next year!

We needed a quiet weekend to decompress and the Osceola Mill House delivered. Pat and Ron are wonderful hosts, very friendly and extremely helpful. The house was incredibly clean and Ron's cooking was amazing. Next time we hope to take advantage of it's proximity to sights and more of the beautiful scenery. Nestled in Amish country, it is very close to Intercourse, Strasburg, and Lancaster City among others.

We stayed in the Burgundy Room which has a king size bed nice chairs and luggage holders. AC outlets behind the bedside tables were enough to charge my phone and hearing aids overnight. Bathroom had everything we needed. Other guests were friendly and we used the gathering room to watch several DVDs, two movies and a documentary on the Amish people. Restaurant recommendations were great; quality food without lines of tourists. Thank-you, Ron & Pat!

There are no dressers or closets in the rooms - on purpose. Amish homes do not have closets or dressers and the host - Ron and Pat- want their guests to experience Amish life. They are very gracious hosts and the breakfast always finished with pie!

From the moment the hosts welcome you into their home, Osceola Mill is warm, restful and welcoming. We so enjoyed conversations with Ron and Pat over the outstanding breakfasts (come hungry!), and our third-floor room was a great, quiet retreat for naps, after touring Lancaster and the surrounding areas. The house is very old and very well maintained. The bed was super comfortable with soft white sheets and a Down Comforter. Mrs. Pat and Mr. Ron were exceedingly accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful and the atmosphere around the home almost propels you back in time where passing traffic is the sound of horse hooves striking the ground and steel and leather bouncing to and fro. The grounds are surrounded by Amish Farms and the home was historically owned by the Mennonite so it remained period correct. If you’re looking for a place of serenity and a place to forget the stress of life. The Osceola Mill House is where you should rest your head.

We liked everything we experienced there. There were many more extras of things we may have forgotten than anywhere else we have stayed. The innkeeper thoroughly showed us everything we needed to know at check in. I liked that there was different kinds of tea and there was coffee in different forms and cookies we could choose from if we wanted. There were CDs and movies and books to read in the Gathering Room and Living Room. The breakfast at this Bed and Breakfast was excellent and our hosts were so accomodating and made our stay wonderful. We would certainly go back there when we go to that area again.

Small (five rooms) B&B. Very cozy and comfortable. Freshly cooked/baked breakfast served around a dining room table led to chatting with other guests and contributed to a family atmosphere. I didn't want the main dish and was offered cereal or scrambled eggs which were quickly cooked up for me. I really enjoyed the freshly baked scones and truly homemade strawberry jam. Very personalized service in every way.

This is a REAL bed & breakfast! The couple that run this place are the most friendly and have created the perfect spot for a one night stay or long weekend trip. We arrived in the late evening for our one night stay. We were instantly greeted by the host and was warmly welcomed to the historic property. After having been shown our room the host was more than helpful in getting us situated with our trip plans for Lancaster county with recommendations for dinner and attractions. After a great night’s sleep in a very cozy room, the hosts even made a three course breakfast. Just simply sublime and we’ll be sure to return!

This B&B is awesome. The hosts could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The location was close to Intercourse but on a side road so you really had the feel of the Amish stay. We were right next door to an Amish family farm who sold us a gallon of raw milk. We highly recommend this place and will look to stay there again when in the area. The breakfasts were out of this world and even included dessert! The hosts used fresh items they canned and purchased at farmers markets.

Very relaxing and well maintained property. Innkeepers Ron and Pat made our stay very enjoyable. Ron prepared breakfast every morning, which we enjoyed very much. They provided us with all the information we needed to know for the local area and was very knowledgeable about the Amish tradions. The pastoral setting in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch farmland is sublime. Peaceful, serene, and totally relaxing. The old stone house is one of a kind, the grounds are beautifully landscaped and the rooms each have their own unique and wonderful character. Ron and Pat are great hosts. This was our second stay at the inn and we would definitely return again to enjoy all that the Amish country has to offer.

The Osceola Mill House was the perfect inn for our getaway to Lancaster County! It has an idyllic setting, is beautiful and historical, and The Fireside Room was everything we could have hoped for our relaxing stay. Our hosts couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating and the breakfasts were delicious! The homemade additions were the icing on the cake. We were wild for Pat's pears! We came to Lancaster for a weekend with friends and stayed at the Osceola Mill House B&B. We had a fantastic time! The Innkeepers, Pat and Ron, are warm and welcoming, and have created a lovely, warm, and cozy space to relax and get a away. They know the area well and guided us to two wonderful restaurants for dinner, and helped us navigate the Mudd Sale that was going on in the area. The rooms are quiet, the beds comfy. We hung out with our friends in one of two gathering rooms and had a wonderful visit. I also have a gluten allergy, and Ron and Pat met my needs with a wonderful breakfast each morning. Can't recommend this Inn enough! If you are looking for a place to gather with friends, or a romantic getaway, or just need to escape for the weekend...look no further!

This was our first time ever staying at a bed and breakfast. We were not disappointed at all. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. We slept even better than we do at home. Pat and Don are amazing hosts, it felt like we were visiting family. Their breakfasts are delicious and very hearty. Really enjoyed having dessert with breakfast, it was a nice treat.
