It's okay. The employees at the Starbucks were incredibly nice and the indoor pool was clean.

But it's really expensive and not very well cared for. The front desk is right outside the theatre, which makes it hard to hear anything when checking in if there's an event going on. The rooms are decently clean, but run down with peeling wallpaper, mismatched carpet, and a giant bloodstain on the pull-out couch. The walls are also incredibly thin and we heard every single noise on our floor. They only provide tiny, half-full shampoo and conditioner bottles, so don't forget your own. It was fine, but for the price, we expected more.

Rooms were clean but service was terrible. Specifically Hemal. The “no outside food in public areas” rule when their restaurant was not open is unacceptable! We were told to go to our rooms to eat. The bartender was clearly under the influence and not very responsive, the breakfast buffet was terrible considering they charged $21 per person and it was a continental breakfast at best. Will not return! I will say, the wonderful girl working the Starbucks counter was nice and friendly.

Avoid this hotel at all cost! Not only were there people throwing up in the garbage can in the ice corridor, and rap music playing loudly for all to hear down the hall and all night, but we received NO room service/housekeeping the entire trip!! I had to beg for towels and wash clothes at the front desk after calls ignored. Was handed a big garbage bag to put our 3 days worth of garbage in after complaining on day 3 that we didn’t have housekeeping the whole time and have nowhere else to go with all our garbage. Dessert at their personally owned Starbucks literally made my kids gag after their first bite. Got 2 caramel drizzled chocolate chip brownies for 3 kids, so they all shared the 2. After they spit it out and was running around crying that it tasted like dog food, I tried it, and I too gagged and spit it out. It not only tasted like it had garlic in it, but the texture was so gross. I brought it back down to ask for a refund. The first person tried telling me I couldn’t return it because both were eaten off of. After I started to make a fuss about it the manager came to me and asked again if both were touched. He wanted to put it back out for sale!!! I told him both were eaten from and wouldn’t resell that anyways, and he sucked his teeth and aggressively threw them in the trash. Offered me a $14 Starbucks voucher that I unwilling accepted. Big mistake. Because when I went to redeem that voucher for a coffee the next day, they told me it was closed until AFTER I left!!

Odd layout overall but had a good experience. The pool and lobby areas were nice overall. The walk back to the room could get confusing though with the sprawling layout. Theroom was clean and comfortable although some others in our group did not have the same positive experience

Our room was clean and comfortable. Noisy. Could hear people talking next door.(wasn't trying to). Confusing room numbers and kind of a maze to get around. Had to fill out paperwork about the pool before we could check in. OK hotel, we spent most of time away and only slept there.

The room was spacious, the bathroom a bit smaller. They have a lot of buildings. Was sad we had to stay far from our family because they had double beds and we had single. So different buildings away. Both of our rooms had roaches. We called guest services they offered to come spray or move our room. We didn’t check in until 11pm . And was thinking if both our rooms had bugs then I’m sure the whole hotel has them. Would not stay again due to this.

My husband and kids reported back that they did not have hot water and that they were expected to wait past checkout time for maintenance rather than just provide an alternate room or a priority fix. In the end they were able to get it fixed but not without a higher complaint which is always silly to us in hospitality. They said the hotel had great play spaces for the kids and they had a great time otherwise.

Was charged extra and told I had extra people at Breakfast with me when I was on a solo trip by self to relax after going to a friends wedding. After noticing an extra charge when I got home ( nothing mentioned at checkout) manager accused me of lying and said an employee said I had 2 extra people with me at breakfast. - I was by myself the whole trip. They charged me and said they would do an investigation. Horrible - talked over me rude and condescending.

The property is in great shape. However, my room smell like mildew, and I had to get housekeeping to come spray some deodorizer.. the front desk is horrible. They have these real rules of charging $50 to chicken early but it also check out late.. I understand if you’re checking in at 10 AM or 12. I was charged $50 for 45 minutes early.. I am never staying at a Wyndham again.

We left within 10 minutes of arriving at the property. Dead cockroaches smashed all over the floor near the elevator. No shame about it from any of the staff. Do not book this hotel. Expedia was kind enough to give us a full refund after the property confirmed the roach situation.

The main common areas like the lobby were well kept. The rooms, hallways, gym and pool were rundown. Things were worn, scratched, beaten up and cracked. And the second day Conor water for shower. All of this for a completely overpriced stay. Should have been half the price.

The room keys did not work when checking in and they did not open entrance. This happened our entire stay which was in convenient!!! The cards were not near credit cards, customer service didn’t investigate to fix issue. The room and balcony were not very clean but acceptable for our short stay. This resort is normally good and this is my first time with complaints.

This hotel was horrible! Walked in room smelt musty, no tv on wall and it was filthy. Dirty and grime everywhere. Bathroom was nasty and tub had chips out of it. Went to immediately check out and get a refund and were gave the runaround by Expedia and the hotel front desk. Charged twice for deposits Still waiting to hear back!!

Very unhappy, the resort definitely needs updated. The air conditioner in my room sounded like a jet engine all night, my wife wanted to have a cup of tea before she went to bed. Could not even get a tea bag off of the staff , she had to wait till morning ,wanted to golf nine holes at the resort could not golf nine holes without paying for 18 holes, spend close to $200 for one night to stay there and you don't even get a complimentary breakfast. Had to pay $30 for breakfast for myself and my wife

Loved the spaciousness of the property. Front desk clerks need more customer service training. We weren’t greeted when we came in and the front desk was cluttered. A line was forming to check in even though another clerk was there busy doing nothing,The coffee station didn't have coffee and the restaurant wasn’t open during our stay.
The saving grace was our hotel room was clean and very comfortable. The closeness to Dutch Wonderland was an added benefit.

Staff trying to rip me off

Staff was trying to rip me off. We were 2 parents and 3 kids, ages 17 12 and one. When checking in the front desk ask me how many adults and how many kids. I asked her from what age is cconsidered adult she answered over 12( which was a big lie). My reservation by mistake was only 2 adults but online states it can acomodate 5. She kept me waiting and was trying to calculate and then she told me that I need to pay just a small amount of over $200 for the extra ppl!! I tried arguing but didnt get anywherethe i called up wyndam's main number and they told me she lied twice with the adult age which is above 18 and the charge for extra ppl. At the end i only paid an extra $36.

I was excited to stay here because of previous reviews and I had looked at this property before online. Check-in was easy and staff was kind and professional. I was disappointed though, first at the cleanliness of the room. It needed vacuuming. Cobwebs on the lamp. Dirt, crumbs and hair in the crease of the desk chair. Second, the outdoor pool was not heated, very cold water for late August and 80 degrees. Not enjoyable. Indoor pool needed paint and there was trash left on the pool floor. Third, Some areas are in disrepair. Balcony had crumbling surfaces, ripped wallpaper in the hallways, chipped door frames on exits. Fourth, housekeeping never came back when asked to come later. Request to front desk took an hour.

We (my husband our 4 year old son and myself) absolutely loved this hotel/ resort. ALL staff we encountered were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, our room was clean. Our kid adored the outdoor pool, we tried then indoor one but it was too cold for us. The pool offered towels which was great. Overall the experience was great. We stayed for a week, Dutch Wonderland is basically across the street and very convenient. It’s close to the outlets if that is your vibe. The staff was attentive, they also have a washer and dryer that it’s available, worked wonders to get the swim gear clean. Would definitely stay again!

Bed was lovely. Sadly, water pressure was almost zero, to the point that brushing teeth was difficult. Ours was an accessibility room (which is totally fine), but the shower had no bottom lip and the curtain did not reach the floor, so showering flooded the entire area. Note, showering took longer than normal, since the water pressure was missing.
The bar was pretty, but on a Saturday night, there was only one bar tender and one staff cook, so service was absolutely abysmal and everything took forever. In fairness, the bar tender was doing her best; the problem was that she was alone.
For a convention center, I expected significantly better. Will not be visiting again.
