Clean, large room. The breakfast was good. They had a pancake maker, which is a little different (good) than other places. Surrounded by highways, but it didn't seem overly noisy. Next shopping malls so it's convenient if you need anything.

The hotel is above average, and ongoing construction projects is to improve the interiors. The room is generally outdated but roomy enough for a family. Breakfast is standard, the automatic pancake machine is great and fun to use. The mattress is comfortable.
The shower is not so good since the faucet is kind of worn out and hard to use. The air conditioner is too close to the bed and the overall air circulation may be improved.
In general, if they can update the interior design and it will be well worth the money.

I did not even check into this property after arrival. My travel partners flight was cancelled and I was too uncomfortable to check in alone. There was questionable foot traffic from the highway (which this property sits between two very busy roads) that made me feel unsafe. The lot was not lighted fully, one side was dark. A rat ran by the front door as I sat in the car by the hotel entrance. I could see mattresses against the wall in the lobby…not sure what that was all about. Some folks mentioned an argument upstairs with banging on doors etc. I sat in my car scrolling the reviews, which I should have done a better job of to begin with. I did not feel comfortable with what I saw with my own eyes and the guests complaints combined so I attempted to cancel my reservation and was not refunded. I ended up going to Denver Pa and finding a clean hotel that felt safe, well lighted and clean. And super helpful staff too! Honestly contemplated sleeping in my car before I’d check into here and I’ve never done that.

They are doing upgrades and it’s a good thing. My room was not very clean. A lot of dust or something on bathroom baseboards. There was a ton of dust in the ceiling vent. They came in to clean room even when I asked not to be disturbed. They changed towels but I don’t know if they did anything else. Usually bed is made when they come to freshen up. Not really impressed

-Under renovation at the moment.
-Location is on a very busy road so its VERY loud (trucks driving by all night)
-The room was sort of dirty, the nightstand lamp had a thick layer of dust.
Pros:
-Staff was courteous and friendly.
-Beds were actually comfy, I was worried they’d be too stiff, but we slept well.
-Shower pressure and temperature was great, which is so rare in hotels.
-Affordable

This is an amazing older, very well maintain modern hotel right in downtown Charlotte very comfortable beds. Very hot order for your shower. Wonderful breakfast is available in their restaurant.

Our room was next to an alarmed exit door. The alarm was not working and every 90 seconds it beeped like a microwave, but louder. We reported it at the desk and was told that it would be fixed the next day. Of course, it wasn't so we had another sleepless night listening to beeps. It was fixed on our 3rd night. This hotel is located directly next to two highways. Along with the sounds of the beeps from the alarm, there is also very loud truck traffic, overloud motorcycles, and cars racing by, which, if you are able to fall asleep, this will jar you awake. Aside from this, the hotel had a very nice breakfast with a lot of choices. The room was clean although it is old. The hotel is undergoing a renovation and evidence of this was all around. Also, coming out of their driveway, you can only make a right-hand turn. You have to drive a bit down the road to make a U-turn to take you back to a lot of stores, restaurants and attractions.

I wasn’t anticipating much but a clean room based on reviews when I booked the hotel. But I was pleased and so were the other 3 people. Breakfast was good. The rooms were very spacious. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The hotel and rooms were clean. The elevator was working and fast. I understand Marriot bought them hopefully they keep most everything the same.

Really impressed with the suites here! The place was incredibly clean and well maintained. It's in a great location, very close to everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Amenities were great. Rooms were super comfortable. We were slightly disappointed that there were no warm egg options for breakfast but otherwise it was an amazing stay.

We were in Lancaster for one night after visiting Niagara Falls and were very pleasantly surprised by these accommodations. The place was clean, comfortable, and very spacious. Getting in and out was a bit stressful due to the layout of the roads, but everything else about our stay was fantastic. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

There was a beeping noise every three minutes, like a microwave beeping. I traced the noise to the kitchen which was next to my room. I notified staff and they did not care to even go into the kitchen and check what the noise was. I told the manager in the morning and he just shrugged his shoulders and dismissed me. The breakfast was pretty lame. We left to Wawa for a better breakfast. Other than that, the place was clean. They are remodeling the first floor.

I decided on this hotel over a cheaper motel because of the reviews but I don't know who is reviewing this place or which room they stayed in because they were dead wrong. I should have known when I was handed a metal key instead of a key card but I figured maybe it was because of the remodeling. When I got to the room I realized I should have saved some money and just stayed at the motel instead. I was afraid to put my luggage anywhere other than the wooden tables. There were random stains on everything and the couches looked like they had never been cleaned. The headboard was questionable with grease finger prints or whatever and the curtains were gross. Definitely the first and last time I'll stay here.

We stayed two nights while visiting relatives. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fine, offering basics. The hotel was located right off of a very busy highway and was extremely noisy in the mornings. All at all, I would recommend staying here as it was a good price point.

This hotel was almost perfect. It was a great room. The size of a studio apartment for less than what a lot of places charge for a standard room. The entire hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable and actually had full sized pillows instead of the small square ones most places have. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, this hotel had one major fault. It is only about three hundred yards away from the highway off ramp. The noise was very loud and never stopped day or night. It was almost impossible to sleep because of the traffic noise especially semi trucks and motorcycles. I realized there's nothing the hotel management can do about the noise. It isn't their fault the highway is so close. That's why I still rate this place a 4 out of five stars. I loved everything about the hotel except it's location. Unfortunately because of the noise I would not chose this place again. It's sad to say this because everything else about the place is almost perfect.

Our bathroom tub had a lot of ants when we first arrived. Washed them down the drain or killed them. And more just kept coming. There was some crumbs and a piece of dog food throughout the room which I’m assuming is what attracted the ants. The room also smelled very musty when we arrived but went away a while after we turned the ac unit off so I’m assuming that is full of mold. The breakfast was pretty good.

This was my second stay here in the last 2 months. Like the hotel. Breakfast is decent and free so that’s a plus. Rooms have always been clean and it’s been convenient to the locations I was heading. They’re changing to Marriott. It’ll be interesting to see how the rates change because they are very reasonable. My only complaint is the ice machines should be maintained a little more. And most hotels do this but I’d like to see breakfast at 6 on weekends as well. Maybe even 6:30 rather than 7. Having to be at my destination by 7/7:15 (usually no more than 10min away) it’d be nice to take advantage of the hotel breakfast that’s included with the room. But overall, good place to stay and value for your money.

I booked a suite with king size bed. The sofa and chair were not comfortable. Biggest complaint was lack of lighting. Once the sun went down I had to sit on the bed to read or do my needlepoint. Sitting area was way too dark

Disappointed with this property and will not return. Our room was right next to a very busy/noisy highway. We constantly had loud footsteps/noise from the floor above us. Definitely not a well insulated building. Furnishings in the room were clean but definitely not updated and the room was dark.

We had requested late checkout on our reservation due to an event we were attending and had also put that we had a dog. Upon checkin we were told that we could not have the later checkout we wanted due to no housekeeping. When getting our luggage and walking to the elevator with our dog we were yelled at asking if our dog was a service dog. We replied that he was not and were then told that we did not pay the fee to have a dog and we then had to sign a paper for them to take the fee. Had we known our reservation did not include the fee already (even though we had put that in our reservation) we would’ve stayed somewhere else as this raised the price more than we were wanting to pay but we had no choice at that point.

The breakfast was horrible. There were no fruit options at all and very minimal other options, even though some of the descriptions/reviews said “superb”.

We would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Lancaster area. Very disappointed!

Staff was very professional and helpful. We had an issue with our heat/AC unit and fridge and staff member did not hesitate to move us to a more comfortable room. Rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, bathroom was spotless- this place just has everything you need for a simple, quiet, affordable, clean stay. Breakfast was great. Just enough to get the day started. Eggs, corned beef hash, sausage and gravy, pastries, pancakes, hard boiled eggs, fruit, etc. Coffee, tea, juices, etc. We were a little leery when we realized we were sandwiched between the highway. With the unit running, it really it not affect us at all. Thank you, Lancaster Suites!

The first room we were in, the volume on the TV quit working the second day so we had to change rooms since they could not get the TV working. The first room was OK although the table, chairs and overstuffed chair needed updating. The second room was very poor. Drawers in furniture were falling out, some were missing and there were no doors on the closet. While I was glad to have TV working for weather forecast (calling for snow)the room needed a lot of work.

The parking was not plowed. When we returned from our event we had to park in the snow. The toilet clogged and I was expected to unclog it. The smell of weed was strong during most of the stay. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the room itself wasn’t bad. Also, the breakfast was good.
