This hotel is actually only a few dozen rooms in a residential building. While the building itself is quite large, the hotel is not, and as such be prepared for very little in the way of amenities. There is an extremely small restaurant for breakfast and room service but very limited menu. Because it’s in a residential neighbourhood, nothing of interest is in walking distance.
Staff was hit and miss with only 1 front desk person running the hotel. One spoke next to no English so wasn’t of great help and gave us incorrect info.
The rooms themselves are very spacious and beautifully maintained. Linens were very comfortable, while the couch in the room wasn’t soft enough to sit on comfortably.
Overall, if you don’t care about being downtown or having amenities, it was a good price for the size of room. Just be aware of what you need from your hotel property

Room is big but it has a sticky floor, when I walk with the slippers, there is very loud sticking sound. Hotel staff service is very bad, especially front desk (check in and out), long waiting time, did not allow me to check in, had to sit aside for a long time before they let me check in. Check out process is extremely long as well, very bad experience there

This is a very nice selection away from the busy Tsim Sha Tsui area, where we used to stay in the previous trips. Location is very convenient 15 minutes walk to the nearby metro station, shopping and choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Probably the nicest room I've ever stayed in. The hotel is boutique and lovely. The staff are incredibly helpful and mostly out of sight unless you need something. The location is a bit out of the way if you'll be taking the subway to get around, but worth it.

Great stay with a spacious room and great view

The accommodation itself was fantastic. Spacious room and spacious bath with a great vibe overall. Very comfortable bed. Great view of the harbour. Close proximity to the metro and several shops. The area felt very safe.

The only pitfall I thought was that the quality of breakfast was below average for a hotel like this. The choice was very limited, yet priced far more than it's actual worth in my opinion.

The staff were very helpful, I must add.

Stay was okay. Only one staff at the front desk. Reception was on the first floor , arrival area was on the ground floor. No doorman or bellboy to help with luggage. There is a hotel lounge but only non alcoholic drinks available, no snacks. No extra amenities , only toothbrush and toothpaste. There is a balcony but you cannot go on it.

This was my third time in Hong Kong. Last two times I stayed at W Hotel but this time I decided to try Olympian. Hands down, it was a better choice. My room was very roomy, luxurious, high ceiling with a great view. I highly recommend this hotel over other luxury options.

This is the best hotel that I ever stay in Hong Kong, including the overall hygiene situation, quietness, room size, comfortable bed & even for all staffs service. The Olympian provides us the most satisfied staying experience.

For the free breakfast, the food quality is really good enough and out of our expectation. We prefer quality rather than quantity that the existing set breakfast is a better way than buffet one.

Thank you for all of the Olympian staffs which we met in out stay. And all of them are so kind and giving us professional service. I believe that we will visit there again.

Pretty Room. Can put more Efforts into Maintenance

We've gotten a free upgrade to a suite. The room was super roomy and had a really tall ceiling.
Staffs were quite nice, if a bit understaffed.

Biggest disappointment would be the bathroom. Water outlets at both the bath/showers feel quiet weak. The shower has a weird smell to it.

We had to change rooms almost two times because the shower head couldn’t be turned off. The second room we were sent to, the key card has had contact with the key holder making the whole rooms electricity goes off. In the end we lived with whole night no corridor light. We ordered pizza, it surely was frozen and reheated. The food was bad value for money. Despite the fact that the interior design was very nice... the condition of equipment and electricity needs to be improved

This is my fourth stay in this hotel. I keep coming back as I’m happy with everything the hotel can offer to their guests like cleanliness of the rooms, politeness of the staff, spacious rooms so you don’t feel like you are actually staying in a hotel room, quiet location and yet easy to access to MTR that can take you either to the airport or to the HK island. A big shopping centre Olympian City 1, 2 and 3 is only 5 mins walk and the variety of foods offered in the restaurants in this shopping centre are superb.

The pictures are a true reflection - the hotel is beautiful and everything, from the lobby through to the rooms, still looks brand new. Service was excellent, the rooms are enormous and it's always a pleasure returning after a day in the Hong Kong hustle and bustle.

A beautiful, comfortable hotel in an excellent location - 5 min walk to MTR station, also walk to plenty of good restsurants in 'old style' HK neighbourhood on opposite side of train station. Only negative comment was quite noisy air conditioner.

I thoroughly enjoyed the design of the room. I stayed at their standard room, their bathroom looked great, the wall behind the bed as well, it had a lot of wood incorporated which I loved. The thing that stood out the most was the high ceilings. I think it would be pretty difficult to find another hotel with ceilings this high in Hong Kong, so it was a pleasant surprise. Cleanliness was top notch, didn't notice any off sights or smells. Amenities were standard, nothing special. They don't provide bottled waters, instead they have a pitcher of water from their water filters. I suggest you to ask them for a new one because you don't know how long it's been sitting there. While I think that the area The Olympian is located is somewhat secluded, as in there's not much to do/see, the nearest MTR station is about a 8-10 min walk so it's not terrible.

However there were a few things I thought weren't up to par. The most important one is the air conditioning. While there is a thermostat inside the room for you to adjust, I cranked it to the coldest and it was still not cold at all. I'm not sure if this is affected by the high but it felt like only a fan was on. The bedside controls for the lights and curtains were sometimes unresponsive. One of their TV channels had no sound. Their bathroom drainage is terrible, water takes a long time to drain. It came to a point where the shower flooded out into the hallway, the whole place was wet.

Overall not bad, may stay again.

5 star opulence just off the grid

Just a quick walk away from the metro and Olympian shopping mall, the hotel is secluded yet conveniently located. The furnishing and decor is top class and service was warm but not intrusive. The high ceiling and large rooms rounds off an impressive offering.

A near perfect 5* boutique hotel, rooms are some of the biggest I have ever stayed in globally. Slightly away from the main attractions, so you will have to bake in time for traveling. Breakfast wasn’t 5*, they should offer this complimentary to all guests, the cost of this to them is very minimal. Shower had various flies which I haven’t seen before. Apart from that I would come back for sure! Great customer service from the team.

Very spacious room by Hong Kong standard. Everything works fine. MTR is about 10 minute walk. Not much shopping or restaurants around the area. All the rooms are on the second floor. Therefore, there are no views to speak of but everything is very nice.

The breakfast choices are very limited. If you want fried eggs, that is extra.

Overall, very present experience.

In a quiet neighborhood

Excellent nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood which is very hard to find in HK. 10 min walk to the MTR station and shopping mall with restaurants. The best part is that the hotel is on the 2nd floor of a luxury apartment complex, you can take the escalator to your room without fighting with other guests carrying luggage to get into the elevator. Free afternoon happy hour is also an added bonus. I’d definitely stay there again

glorious property

Located between the airport and the center of Kowloon. I had a great view of a fantastical shipping harbor, 1 block from the Olympic shopping mall, very pleasant walkway along the waterfront with many families and places to sit and watch the world go bye. The hotel is new and grand in all respects- practically a destination in it's self. The in-room dinning menu was limited but tasty. I look forward to returning!

This is real 5-stars hotel. The size is extreme big compare to other hotels in Hong Kong. We like the handy phone. We do not need to buy a sim / data card. It is so convenience.

Highly recommended!

It's located in the heart of a residential area. It's a good break away from the usual tourist crowd yet only 2 stations away from Central, Hong Kong. Room is spacious with high ceilings, and is tastefully decorated.

I enjoyed the lounge area which is opened to all hotel guests, where you can get free sodas, coffee and tea, on top of the afternoon tea selection.

Will definitely stay there again, and highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a hotel where you can relax

Clean and pretty, but ultimately disappointing

The hotel looks and feels very clean, but my room was very loud (right next to a busy street on basically ground level) and my shower had no hot water. Other than that, the overall quality was very nice. Everything was very clean and nice looking. I'm sure the other rooms are probably much better than the one I had; however, my experience was nothing short of lackluster.

We had a great stay in big big rooms with high ceiling, a bathroom big enough to party in and a super comfy bed and great outlook over the sea. Especially pleased when the they sent up a bottle of wine for my girlfriend's birthday after the staff spotted it on her passport. Great place if you want to enjoy time in the room as well as get into the city.

In general the premises was good. Rooms are largely clean and tidy - but there are green stains everywhere in the toilet. The hotel itself was good in general, sitting in a quiet neighborhood yet a little remote from the malls and food. Interesting place with only 36 rooms while offering gym facilities and a nice little lounge. Yet a pity for a 5-star hotel not to have a pool.

It's a unique 5 starts hotel. Well worth !!!

I stayed at this hotel in November 2016. Only decided to write a review after reading the only 1 start review. I feel it is unfair to judge this hotel compare to other \"run of the mill\" 5 stars hotels. This hotel has only has 32 rooms, they are not intented to attached every one on the planet earth. I believe what they are looking for is to serve people who enjoy a little bit of quietness from the city but still able to get to every where in 5 to 15 mins of MTR. Down to earth service with a touch of luxury is what I call it. The staffs know and address you by your name the next morning. The manager is almost always at the front desk waiting to serve you. I checked in early. Room was not ready and I have been offered to have a shower and refreshment. Since I have other places to go, I have skipped that service. When I went back to the hotel. All my bags were in my room waiting for me. A staff at the front desk took me to the room and explain every thing in the room including every light switches and other function. Not necessary to me but it is a nice touch. What is the big deal about having someone greet you at the door. Easy enough to ride the elevator to the second floor. They have two washers and dryer for the guest self serve laundry service. That alone is not a run of the mill luxury or pretend luxury hotel. For the price, you can't find anything like this in Hong Kong.
Personally, I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.

Amazing room, major flaws

I really want to give this property '5 stars.' But, I can't. You can't arrive at a 5 star hotel and not be greeted by anyone. And, this was not just a mistake - it's their motus operandi. They MUST POST SOMEONE downstairs until the last guest checks in. You don't feel like you have to carry your own bags up a flight at a 5 star hotel. Even when they escorted us down to leave, they don't appear to own a luggage cart. The area is not good for walking or eating. And, breakfast was 'extra', not included. All that said, the room was one of the most awesome we've ever been in. High ceilings, beautiful decorations, every possible gadget, very comfortable.

One of the best I've stayed at

When I arrived for a short business stop-over, I received a room upgrade and the room was more of a suite than a room. Everything spotless, two large flat-screen tv's and even a free mobile phone to use during my stay which was invaluable when needing to order taxis or find my was around the city.
Overall first class experience. Would definitely recommend.
