This was our second visit to Las Terrazas and we were slightly disappointed when we left. The guy on reception was quick but had no joie de vivre. The room was OK but we both woke up next morning complaining about the memory foam mattress. The cafe food was very strange. We ordered a pizza which was nice but the order of chips saw a serving of over cooked chips with a great dollop of, what we think was tomato sauce topped with a large spoonful of mayonnaise/ali oli. They went back and very quickly were replaced by chips. The same last visit though we ordered differently, the chef seems unable to serve anything without over saucing.
One big plus is the filling station on the same plot. Very cheap fuel on the doorstep. We used the hotel as an overnight stop from the south to Santander. It is just a perfect distance for the 2pm ferry.
Over all. Cheap and cheerful. We might return next time.

The guy that checked us in did not give us any info on where to eat or where breakfast was etc. once he found out we were English he didn’t want to know. The room, however, was fine. Clean and all we needed. Breakfast was a joke. There was virtually nothing to eat and the staff were not interested in filling it up. They helped themselves to whatever was there! We had a bar meal in the evening which was just ok. The guy behind the bar that served us was really helpful and pleasant. Shame about the receptionist and the non existent breakfast!

The hotel was buzzing. Our original impression on going to reception to book in wasnt good. My husband speaks Spanish which is good and understandable but the reception lady took one look and phoned for a replacement. A form was thrust into my hand with no explanation (a new government initiative). The questions asked for name and address then further down asked again for address then asked for things that made no sense in either Spanish nor English. Bad start but things got better. Food in the cafe was good so was tostada in the morning. Though it was very busy the staff had a smile and were helpful.
One complaint was the chairs, in the lounge, cafe, foyer, and bedroom they were all uncomfortable but the bed was fine. We will book again as it is a good stop on our way to Santander for the ferry.

Great hotel with superb, comfortable rooms. A very busy and typically spanish bar was also good. The location wasn't ideal for us as we wanted to see a little of Burgos itself and it was a 45 minute walk away. However an ideal pkace if you simply want an overnight stop en route to elsewhere.

Check in took a long time (no English spoken) then we were given the wrong room key, we entered the room to find it already occupied (so much for security). At end of “restaurant” (more like a cafe) there was a childrens play area which was noisy and the children chased one another through the eating area around the tables screaming. Breakfast was appalling, no staff in attendance, had to sort to find clean plates and very little food available - not replenished. Cooked food cold, only two slices of bread, no breakfast tea (only fruit). Few slices of fruit and some pastries. Bed very soft.

The room was small but comfortable considering we are a family of four. Being opposite the petrol station and over the bar could have been an issue but with windows shut you couldn’t hear it much… it did go quiet after it shut at midnight though… it was a cheap overnight stop but to be honest we thought Burgos centre was lovely and would pay more to be able to walk out to it next time we visit the area. Special mention for breakfast in the morning / cafe con leche was spectacular…

check in was haphazard , told best was not included when confirmation said it was. when challenged , he relented and said yes to breakfast.
asked for a map to show where we were , he marked our location incorrectly on the map, so we got lost trying to head into Burgos.
Room was like a fridge on check in , but staff quickly sorted the heating for us , the room was large , very comfortable , great beds , excellent shower, and quiet.
restaurant attached to hotel is hugely popular , very good menu del dia for 14.00 inc a bottle of wine !

Never going Back !!!

We were checked in reasonably well however there were some low parts of the ceiling in our bedroom, my wife to sleep on that side, but even at 5’ 2 & and a quarter inch she had the odd mishap! Thankfully no bruises came out?
I woke strangely at around 05:00, I didn’t know why, I didn’t need the toilet, I was still sleepy and so I tried to nod off and then I heard it…ZZZZZzzzzz!!! The man next door was snoring like a pig, yes the walls are that thin!
I did drop off but was reawakened at 07:00 when the same mans wake up alarm went off
We went down to breakfast and a man eventually came along and showed us in to the public bar where lots of locals lined the bar, drinking coffee and eating all kinds of things.
We found tables where there appeared to be other hotel guests, we took a seat at a table without anything on it at all, no cutlery, plates. I did a bit of snooping but alas I found nothing that resembled breakfast items.
Then the very same man came to us and told us to order at the bar. So we tried and we got nowhere, all we got were two bits of toast, an orange juice each and I had the tiniest coffee cup that there could ever be, there was about 14 molecules of coffee in it.
I think the staff were so run off their feet they couldn’t give a dam about two British visitors who had paid for accommodation with breakfast, and left them to it. Not the kind of hospitality I would expect. I won’t ever be back, not likely I know, and so did he, he cared that little.

Nice place! Unique place that includes a busy reasonably priced restaurant and deli/bakery counter, a carwash and gas station. It worked well for us. The restaurant is popular with locals. The family style rooms have Murphy type fold down bunk beds. The spacing is tight but it worked for us.

Next door to a TruckStop but surprisingly good food in the restaurant and a lively bar atmosphere invaded by locals late night but not LAGER Louts!! Check in and check out a breeze and we were on the road for Santander Ferry in no time.

Our Garmin Could not find it from the address and directed us to an industrial estate about 5 miles away. We needed directions form some very helpful locals to get us there. One girl used her phone to give us an address nearby. Then a guy, who turned out to be an Albanian emigrant, got us to follow his car and took us right to the hotel. It was a bit like a truck stop with petrol and car wash across the car park which we used. A free car-park was good and we drove down into town to see the sites. Would definitely stay there again..

Todo normal. Habitación cómoda y limpia aunque sin los elementos de limpieza completos osea sin shampoo y sin opción de comprar cepillo o crema dental. Por suerte hay una gasolinera en frente. No contestan el teléfono en recepción. El servicio de cafetería es horrible.

Malheureusement, accueil à revoir, restauration mauvaise qualité. Station essence au pied de l'hôtel ! On voit que l'hôtel a été refait/maquillé pour monter en gamme. Propreté OK. La chambre dite familiale avec lits superposés est en réalité très / trop petite. Les lits superposés sont intégrés dans un mur / placard et se déplient. Une fois dépliées il n'y a plus de place... Ces lits sont retenus par des bras métalliques. Le lit du bas n'était pas de niveau. Nous avons pu changé de chambre après 2 remarques d'insatisfaction auprès du réceptionniste (merci tout de même, la suite était mieux).
Côté restauration, c'est guère mieux, plats de très mauvaise qualité (bifteck panée, jambon de pays).

Le plus gros problème, c'est la dame du bar, au restaurant qui n'est pas vraiment aimable. Très stressée, elle ne prend pas le temps de s'adresser au client comme on l'attend d'une employée.
Dommage, cela gâche l'impression générale.

Réclamation concernant le petit déjeuner

Madame, Monsieur,

Je vous écris pour exprimer mon mécontentement concernant mon séjour à l'hôtel Las Terrazas Burgos. Lors de ma réservation, j'avais payé pour un petit déjeuner buffet, mais il s'est avéré que le restaurant était fermé le lundi, sans aucune mention préalable ni information de la part de la réception.

À mon arrivée, le réceptionniste n'était même pas informé de mon paiement pour le petit déjeuner. Après vérification, il a confirmé que le petit déjeuner était inclus et m'a informé qu'il était servi entre 6h30 et 10h30. À aucun moment, il ne m'a précisé que le restaurant serait fermé le lundi.

Le lendemain matin, lorsque je me suis présenté pour prendre mon petit déjeuner, j'ai découvert que le restaurant était fermé. Seul le bar à côté était ouvert. En demandant des explications, on m'a informé que le restaurant n'ouvrait pas le lundi, mais que je pouvais prendre mon petit déjeuner au bar. Toutefois, lorsque le personnel du bar a cherché ma chambre dans leur liste, il ne l'a pas trouvée. J'ai dû montrer ma réservation pour prouver que le petit déjeuner était inclus. Finalement, on m'a servi un café, un jus d'orange et un croissant, bien loin du buffet prévu.

Je suis très déçu par ce manque d'information et par l'organisation de votre établissement. J'espère que vous prendrez les mesures nécessaires pour améliorer la communication et le service à l'avenir.

Nyrenoverat rum med AC. Litet men fungerande.
Vi hade betalat tillägg för frukostbuffé men möttes av en frukostmatsal där det var överbelamrat med skräp och matrester runt om i hela restaurangen och där det inte gick att hitta någonting överhuvudtaget att äta.
Melonskal på ett fat, gammal äggröra som det kröp runt flugor på, ost som legat länge o rumstemperatur är bara några exempel.
När vi påkallade personal så suckade denne och himlade med ögonen mot oss och började därefter skramla och plocka med disken som stod på borden.
Hon gjorde ingenting för att fylla på eller ordna något ätbart.
Aldrig har jag varit med om ett sämre bemötande eller sämre utbud på ett hotell. Aldrig mer detta hotell, avråder starkt att stanna här!

Me dieron habitación de minusválidos, aunque eso nunca se dijo en la reserva. Las instalaciones estaban bien en general pero el colchón estaba hundido en un lado y el baño siempre tenía un olor no agradable todo el tiempo.
Había un grupo de deporte infantil ese fin de semana y el cafetín que está en el hotel fue imposible conseguir servicio para comer.
Salvo la facilidad para parking del coche y el precio, no será mi próxima visita allí de haber otras opciones.

Bien en general,buenas instalaciones,lenta la gestión de entrada.Además,la targeta se desprogramaba cuando saliamos de la habitació,teniendo que bajar a recepción para activarla.Personal amable y lugar tranquilo.Recomendable.
