Comfortable stay

I really enjoyed our stay. Very useful having a secure car park available for guests under the hotel. Price was €16. Only a 5 min walk to all the restaurants and famous church/cathedral- which is spectacular!
The bedroom was clean and comfortable. Very quiet and dark due to the electric shutters.
All in all, a good value hotel in a great location.
Only negative was there was no coffee/tea facilities in the room.
Friendly receptionist.

The hotel has an excellent location, the interior decor indicates it did have a glorious past. After we went back to hotel close to mid-night, we realize the room has a foul smell as if the last guest(s) did a gigantic vomiting. It was so late at night and we were so tired , we decided to stay. We did tell the hotel stuff the next day. Their reply was they had never experienced that before and they will asked the cleaning people to check it out. We were leaving and we did not really expect a refund or something like that, but the stuff could be more sympathetic and provide a few comforting words.

This was a 4 star hotel which was quite central. My wife has an exam in Burgos at 08.00 in the morning following our stay, so we had to sleep well and be fresh for the next day. It didnt quite happen. The room smelled awful (everywhere had the horrible smell of tobacco smoke) She finished with migrane and did not sleep much. I also didnt sleep well and really do not know how the hotel got a 4 star rating.

I needed a toilet brush as I eaten something bad, and there was no toilet brush in the bathroom. The bed was very hard and not comfortable, the sheets as i said before smell really bad of smoke. There was no tea/coffee in the rooms or anywhere in the hotel.

The hotel seemed quite old and run-down, some of the tiles in the bathroom was broken and not repaired.

The only good thing I can say about the hotel is its about 5-10 minutes walking to the main sights of the city.

Location on a busy road so pull into garage parking entrance on arrival and buzz through for access.Beware light timing as garage goes very dark. Spaces are also narrow. Room comfortable as was bed and room and en suite cleanliness to a high standard. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff.Only gripe was that their was no daylight coming into the room from the only small shuttered window.

Good location that even during holy week (Semana Santa) we could still drive to but then only needed to walk 2 blocks to see the processions and about 4 blocks to the river and wonderful part of town. Burgos downtown is very nice and the Cathedral is a MUST SEE.

Nonsmoking rooms smell strongly of smoke

The room would have been comfortable, except that \"non-smoking\" evidently meant the smoking was no longer allowed. However, the smell of smoke was still very much there. We asked for and received a different room, but the problem was still there. If the smell of smoke doesn't bother you, the room was otherwise fine, and the location is excellent, only three blocks from the must-see catherdral and good restaurants aroud its square.

Disappointing for a 4 star rating

Arrived at 16.00 hrs to find no tea/coffee in room, the cafe and restaurant was also closed until 20.30 hrs, so after a 7hr drive we had to go out in town to get refreshments. The parking fee of 15 euros was also quite unwelcome as to park in the street was not an option as the hotel was on a main road and close to the bus garage. Not one of the best!!

Outdated and a little grungy, but overall acceptable and inexpensive. Misleading to call it a four star hotel- more like a 2 star hotel. I would recommend it for under $60, any more and you are getting ripped off. The air conditioning did not work and it was very loud when you opened the windows. The \"city view\" was a neighboring buildings dirty wall. Style was dates, but they did have a beautiful miro in the lobby. Hallway was very dirty!

Excellent location - 2 blocks from river, 3 blocks from Burgas cathedral. Nice room including mini bar (mini refrigerator!). Very nice hotel fro the price. The only negative is that the A/C in our room was non functional - unfortunately we did not turn it on until 10 pm to find the issue - relatives in a nearby room reported that the A/C in their room was able to chill the room very well.

Great Location

Great Burgos Choice

Corona de Castilla was a great hotel. It was really well located at just 5 blocks from the Cathedral. The staff was great and the room was so comfortable. Wifi was not always super fast, but it did work consistently. We would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend.

Everything was OK and the only issue is that it was not possible to shut off the heather so we had to sleep with windows opened. I forgot to tell this to the people in the hotel.
Next time I went to Burgos I'll make a reservation in this hotel.

Worst Hotel Choice Ever!

Rated as a 4-star this hotel doesn't even deserve 2 stars. The hotel staff is always very rude. The rooms are really old and doesn't seem like they get frequent maintenance, the TV shuts down every 15 min due to the poor conditions of the electric connections. On the breakfast they served rotten peaches and didn't even bother on apologizing for it once we told the waitress about it. Although they claim to have a parking lot it's almost inaccessible and has barely 10 parking spots, plus it's almost impossible to park on them. They charge a whole deal for it though. Definately wouldn't recommend it.

Despite having four stars, the quality was not more than three stars. The state of the rooms was ok, but details such as the bedside light fixture hanging loose brought down the appearance. The breakfast was sparse and of a low quality. The warm foods such as scrambled eggs was cold despite us arriving shortly after opening. Despite there being a parking garage, you cannot book a spot in advance so we had to find one on the street.

Un hotel de 4 estrellas que se le han caído 2,la habitación muy pequeña para ser una triple,el radiador mohoso y sucio,la bañera(aún tiene) oxidada y parcheada con un remiendo,la tapicería de las sillas muy sucia,el aparato del aire acondicionado detrás de la cortina por no haber más sitio para colocarlo al poner la tercera cama,la rejilla de ventilación del baño con telarañas,la puerta de la nevera descolgada, pedí una habitación bonita por ser una ocasión familiar especial y me dieron esa con esas condiciones y con vistas a una pared blanca de un patio interior

Hotel muy bien situado a cinco minutos andando de la Catedral. El parking estaba lleno pero a 150 metros del hotel estaba el parking Catedral-plaza Vega por 9.95€/dia.El personal de recepción muy agradable. Sólo una pega, la ducha era muy incomoda porque no tenía soporte para colgarla en la pared y había que ducharse con ella en la mano. Por lo demás todo ok.
