The hotel is convenient for travelling around Burgos, if you don’t want to stay in town. It is, however, undergoing renovation at present which makes it a bit chaotic. The staff are good though, particularly Oumar, the bar and restaurant waiter.

It is a 3-star hotel rank. But the quality and services are really much better. I recommend this hotel for all travelers without any reservations. This hotel is much better than 4 star hotel in Magdeburg where I spent a night before on my way from Estonia to Portugal.

After a long drive this Hotel shows up with a big HOTEL signage. Girlfriend says to pull over and get some rest.

REST it was not. MATTRESSES are a step above from sleeping on a tile floor.

We even had to change rooms. Fist we were in 111, window side bed had springs poking me into my hips. I complained and they gave us another room. Room 205. Springs were not poking into my hips but mattresses were still extremely hard. NO COMFORT!!! They need to change their mattresses into something were the body can actually find rest and sleep.

Extremely good value. We chose half board - the dinners were amazing. Breakfast basic but adequate and gluten-free was catered for. Staff very helpful and site close by the motorway between Burgos and Madrid.

We had 2 rooms at the hotel - one for us as a couple and one for our two teenage sons (16 and 19). We all slept well on comfy beds, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the free wifi worked well too. This was a stop over on our way to Bilbao from southern Spain and very easy to find so we'll definitely stay again. The restaurant was open until 11pm and had a great 3 course menu choice for just €15. The included breakfast was more than enough to set us on on our way in the morning. No complaints about anything.

Worth staying for the resaurant

The lack of air conditioning in our room let this hotel down, the ceiling fan was on its last legs & squeaked, we couldn't use it & had to sleep with the windows open. On the plus side the restaurant & Cafeteria were excellent, serving a wide range of very well prepared meals.

For an overnight stay en-route to/from Spain/Portugal this place can't be beaten.
Got a great rate including breakfast and dinner, and the choice and quality of food great also.
Yes its in the middle of a truck stop, but that is of no real relevance. No road noise if windows shut but the lack of full AC (only a ceiling fan) will mean that you need windows open if its hot.
Bolsters standard but pillows available from desk, just ask.
Excellent value.

No air con in summer is a killer.

Off motorway which we wanted. Room fine but fan unable to handle 38 degree heat. We simply did not sleep. I got about three hours sleep , my husband about two. Staff friendly but would not even consider this hotel April to September with the Spanish heat. Room was okay.

Perfect position for an overnight stay when travelling down through Spain. Although next to a lorry park, the hotel is in quite a reasonable part of town. We paid for garage parking, but we wouldn't bother if we stayed again. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening and it was good value for money. 16.5€ for three courses with wine and coffee. Breakfast was ok too. Room was clean. Wifi in the bedroom as well.

Our Ideal Overnight Stopover

We have stayed here 3 times now whilst en-route to & from Portugal by road. It is ideally situated next to the A62 Autovia, and within easy reach of Santander or Bilbao ports & car ferries, or if en-route to or from France as we were on the last occasion. Friendly, helpful staff and free WiFi. Adjacent Filling Station & Spar supermarket an additional benefit.

We have used this hotel before, but this time we were in a party of 3 couples. We all enjoyed our stay which was for a 1 night stopover. The weather was just turning to snow so we were very glad to be close to the motorway. We had an excellent evening meal, although as is usual in Spain it was a little late for us. The service was excellent as was the food.
The following day we had to scrape the ice and snow off our cars, but the motorway was clear. In fact the previous evening we had seen all the snowploughs at the side of the motorway ready to plough and salt the road. As a result there were no delays.
I would recommend this hotel for an overnight stay en route as it is so convenient for the motorway, but it is some distance from Burgos itself.

While the hotel is clean, convenient and the staff especially the server at breakfast and dinner were more than helpful, we were most disappointed more at Expedia as on their web site they indicated the rooms had air conditioning and they did not. This is important as the rooms over look a busy highway and we heard the cars throughout the night. For that reason I would not return. I have copied and pasted the write-up from the Expedia site indicating that the rooms had A/C, as it was late in the evening, I had no choice but to monitor the highway traffic all night. Most disappointing Expedia.

excellent for overnight stopover near Burgos. Easy to find with ample free parking. Good facilities for bar, snacks, and restaurant food, all at reasonable prices. Room was adequate, nothing special, but comfortable in accordance with low price. Nothing to do or see in the nearby surroundings. Overall just what we wanted after a long drive, a relaxation, and re-start the following morning. Good value for money.

I am a bit of a hotel snob! and like good hotels. This hotel surpassed my expectations in many ways i.e. the price, friendliness of staff and comfortable beds. I have to maintain a gluten free diet and when I gave the lady in the restaurant my card in Spanish explaining this she went away and came back with a bread roll, biscuits and cakes gluten free. The breakfast was only 5€ a head and we both had more than 5€ of food. I would stay here again en route to Portugal and recommend it highly.

The Hotel staff are the biggest asset, very nice and helpful. The Hotel lets down the staff with paper thin walls and very bad rest for guest. The noise from other rooms was the worst i have every stay in a Hotel. When you can hear the person in next room use the bathroom, if you know what i mean... the walls are to thin.

Close to all must-see sights near Burgos

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The location was ideal & just 2 hrs from Santander Port. The hotel was clean & bedrooms comfortable.The bar staff were not that good, however the service we received from both the reception and restaurant staff was excellent. The buffet breakfast was excellent value for money. We also enjoyed an evening an excellent meal in the restaurant & they offer A La Carte & Menu Del Dia .

The common facilities are nice, the rooms are good sized, but the pluses stop there. The rooms have extremely poor noise insulation, loud plumbing, and doors that scrape when moved. This is a good highway stop with a good breakfast, but you will not sleep well until they make some major changes.

Very nice hotel although it was only a one night stopover,when we arrived we could sit outside have a couple of beers and relax after a very long journey,and as we had our dog with us it gave us time to walk her before we went to our room.we had a really nice meal before back to the room for a very good nights sleep would recommend this hotel.

very convenient as straight off motorway, next to service station with minimarket and cafe (also sells fresh bread) . Very helpful staff, clean, decent sized room and very warm (snow on ground when we stayed) in fact I always turn the heating off at night as the underfloor heating in the bathroom is sufficient. Reasonable price on the internet and breakfast is a good continental buffet. Evening meal (three course inc wine) for 14 euro from 8pm. Always use this as a stopover and have not been disappointed yet or found a better option.

A nice hotel which is very good for an over night stop; comfortable with good facilities The staff were all very friendly particularly the ladies on the reception desk. Easy access to the motorways once you had located the hotel.

On their website we would suggest put clearer directions as to exact location as difficulty to find for the first time in the dark.

Certainly stay there again.

The hotel was easy to locate off the main motorway and was very good value for money. Our room was far better than most other motorway hotels we have had the misfortune to stay in. Would recommend to other travellers. We paid an additional amount for the secure parking.

Quick stop on the road

Staff was very nice and accomodating in what they could. I did ask for a queen bed on the reservation (specifically, since I am from Spain and know the drill) and still got 2 twin beds (like sleeping in a kids room) because apparently they only have 4 queen bed rooms and they NEVER give those out via internet. Aside from that, everything was good.

Buffet breakfast was great. It was stated that it was open until 10.30 AM and since I had arrived at 3 AM, I slept in. Got to the restaurant at 10.15 AM and the lady was taking everything away because she thought there were no more guests in the hotel. She brought everything back out just for me, and then some! That was great.

Also had free Wi-Fi and room price was very good. But the best is the location: right off the highway by Burgos. (can't beat that in Spain!).

perfect for travellers

The hotel was just what we needed, close to a juction south of Burgos, on the long road from the South of Spain. The hotel was quiet, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was adequate, but breakfast was excellent. And from the hotel, its an easy 2 -3 hour journey through spectacular scenery to Santander. We certainly will go back.

Un hôtel un peu vétuste mais très bien entretenu et très propre.
Le personnel est compétent.
Le petit déjeuner est très bien.
La literie est très bonne.

Mes seules critiques pourraient être l’écran de télévision de la même taille que mon ordi portable et la vue extérieure sur les poubelles de l’hôtel et une partie de la cour moins bien entretenue que le front de l’hôtel.

Je recommande cet hôtel pour son emplacement sa propreté et son rapport qualité prix.

Perfecto. Lo conozco desde hace 25 años, sobre todo el restaursnte y la cafeteria. Esta vez he parado a dormir y la experiencia ha sido muy positiva.
Está muy bien ubicado en el cinturon de autovias de Burgos con un acceso directo en ambos sentidos a la propia autovia de circunvalacion.
