AS A BUSINESS, I BOOKED A STAY FOR A CLIENT. HE ARRIVED TO FIND THE ROOM VERY DIRTY. THERE WAS EVEN HAIR ON THE PILLOWS! WHEN ASKED FOR IT TO BE CLEANED OR TO BE MOVED TO ANOTHER ROOM, THEY SAID NO. HE SLEPT ON A TOWEL ON TOP OF THE BED AND NO PILLOW. HE CHECKED OUT IN THE MORNING. HE WAS BOOKED FOR 5 NIGHTS. WE WERE ONLY REIMBURSED FOR TWO NIGHTS EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR FAULT. NEVER WILL I GO THERE OR SEND A CLIENT THERE AGAIN!!

Had to ask for plastic bags for the ice bucket, toilet lid was broken and wouldn’t stay in place, no cups in room, used toiletry item left in bathroom.
Plastic molding in bathroom was face stapled onto the wall. Makes me think this is further proof that someone didn’t care to take the time to make things right regarding all aspects of this room/hotel. Also makes me question how clean the room was.
Breakfast was a joke!!! Hardly any choices for breakfast and the racks for the breakfast items were mostly empty. Waffles were the only good thing for breakfast.

Front desk attendant was no where to found for like 25 mins upon check in- husband knocked on bathroom door then he emerged. Same situation upon check out but like 10 mins since where knew where to find him. Says non smoking but all you can smell weed- to the point of a headache- bed was uncomfortable. Bathroom was only thing decent- although it was running water the rest of the night after a flush. Area around hotel has clothes and trash strewn around. Will not be staying here again.

The hotel is convenient for many events that I attend in the Connecticut and Massachusetts areas and is usually quiet and comfortable. However it is starting to show it's age. Faded carpets, bedspreads, window seat cushions. also, tub and toilet are showing age and wear. I hate to see the condition deteriorating, as it is a place that I have stayed at for many years

Basic roadside hotel. Felt more like a motel. Cheap enough but lacks any warmth and welcoming. Pros were clean bed and workable AC. Free parking. Cons were rust residue in toilet bowl, thin walls and loud neighbors, no hot water at breakfast for tea or oatmeal. Police were questioning the desk manager when I arrived ! The experience at Days Zion was the eorst I’ve ever experienced in my 50+ years of traveling
The front check cell was rude, the inside of the property was filthy, the rooms were awful, the sheets had stains on them, carpets not vacuumed, went to ask for a new room, some worker named Jamie started yelling at me, I was afraid to stay there, had to ask to cancel my reservation and asked for my money back, tried to call Expedia and Days Inn Inc. About this awful experience

I booked this hotel before the terrible reviews started rolling in. Room was dingy, no cleaning done during our stay, loud people in the lobby after hours. We cut our stay short by one night. We let them know a couple of days before, made sure it was ok, the manager assured us they would take care of giving us the extra night refund. Checked my credit card statement a few days later --no refund. They won't answer the phone. They didn't answer when Expedia called, either. Room smelled like an old smoker's house, even though it was supposed to be nonsmoking.

Used to be a great stay

When we arrived a group in the lobby was drinking and swearing loudly with a young child was present. We had to ask for a second room after the guest looked like the beds had been slept in and grass was in the bed. The person who gave us keys to the second room appeared to be related to the group hanging out in the lobby because they kept hollering at him and called him one of the other children’s brother. Maybe they all live on site? If so, very concerning that Day’s Inn allows this. The second room at least had clean beds but the bathrooms had not been cleaned well because there were random hairs all through the bathrooms. Some of the lights in the room didn’t work and the refrigerator obviously hadn’t been cleaned. Our cooler items stayed right in the cooler. We didn’t want to stay but it was so late we just wanted to get a few hours of sleep. We used to stay here all the time when traveling through but never again.

The evening shift person helped me move to a lower grade room that had a very loose toilet seat cover. In my first queen size room..,no Keurig cupe etc. torn bed skirt, dirty bathroom. Nothing i didnt stay. Tried to get a refund to my account for a cancelation of the reservation, but they said it had to go through the third party,expedia. Which i tried to contact but had trouble reaching anyone. I would justt like to have my money refunded. I changed my reservations from one hotel in the area to this one because my son wanted a gym. They list a fitness center as one of the amenities and have pictures of it. It is not there. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.

Picture of room was misleading - MUCH smaller in reality - sink was dirty...eww shower had hair. ewww eww. we didn't see bedbugs but slept with clothes on just in case. worn carpet and damaged walls. tv had 2 channels. thank God I brought pillows from home (which we put in garbage). Just ew. arrived at about midnight and couldn't get out fast enough. Also. cost me $188.00. If we hadnt arrieved so late and noticed neighboring facilities had no vacancy signs, we would NOT have stayed there. I cleaned the sink before using.. toothpaste globs. reallY???????

We asked for towels and they told us they didn’t have clean ones even though it was a family of 4 and they only had two in the room. I had to thoroughly clean my room upon arrival, the bathroom, shower, floors and toilet were NOT clean. Hair in the sink, toilet snd shower. Almost completely used soap up bars were left stuck to shower floor and inside in the toilet along with tissue?Toilet paper was not replenished. Trash bins were stuck to the floor with dirt grime in bathroom and the sleeping area. Empty water bottles from previous guest left in room. Thankfully I travel with Lysol. I spoke with another guest who was leaving because there was an open box AND USED condoms left in her their room they just arrived to. Complete disappointment. I would have book another hotel in the area and left here if I was able to. 0/10 do not recommend this hotel for your health.

The staff were courteous and helpful to my needs. They were understaffed, however. I only saw two staff members (1 desk clerk and 1 cleaning person) throughout my 4 day visit. The property is hidden behind a truck stop and secluded in a wooded area. I had difficulty finding it the day I arrived, and I was a bit intimidated by its secluded location. Breakfast was limited to a few items and vending machines. My room was comfortable and clean.

We arrived at check in time and our room was not ready. There were several people waiting for rooms and the clerk said they were not ready. It was apparent that she was short staffed. Our bed was WAY too soft. The walls were paper thin and the people next door started talking loud enough to wake us up at 5am. They made this level of noise for several hours, making it unable for us to sleep. The front desk clerk was able to call someone in to clean rooms, but it was obvious that she was in a bind. She was understandably unpleasant at check in. I don't blame her, but you need to get a reliable cleaning staff. Also, the TV was broken, only showing a few distorted channels with a loud hum over the programming. Unusable.

A poor experience

Upon arrival, I was immediately told that I couldn’t bring my bicycle into my room. I asked then if there were bike racks or bike storage outside as an alternative. There were none. Desk person also offered no information about breakfast times or any other amenities (likely because there weren’t any). I was also given incorrect wifi info. Breakfast this morning was as minimal as I’ve ever seen, whether at a Days Inn or similar, plus they were out of coffee! Staff seemed far more concerned with patrolling exit doors than customer service.

Bathroom floor was covered in hair. No one to clean it, so they gave us a vacuum to clean it ourselves. Housekeeping never checked to take out our trash or give us clean towels or toilet paper. (We were there for 5 days). We put a pizza box outside our door and it stayed there for 2 days! Had a coffee pot in the room, but no coffee. We asked housekeeping and the manager for towels and a blanket one morning and never got either of them. Later in the day, we were told that they didn't have any blankets. We had a sleeper sofa in our room, but no blankets evidently. I'm sure that Wyndham would not be happy with this property. We think the people who work there also live there. There is a big sign that says no pets, but there was a large dog sitting on the sofa in the lobby. The employees are not friendly or accommodating. We won't stay there again.

Don’t book this hotel

First of all, the pictures did not match at all the room we had. We arrived there and the tenant was high af, probably on wax because it was smelling bad.

Then, we took possession of our room and it was bad, like really bad. Not so clean sheets, crooked carpet and walls, no fridge, a poor condition toilet and shower, I think you can get the picture.

The most ridiculous part in all of this is that we paid for breakfasts and no matter at what time we arrived to eat, THERE WAS NO FOOD AT ALL. Just some snacks that were really basic and coffee.

The WIFI was not working, the floors were dirty everywhere, the elevator did not work very well.

There was no room maintenance, not even after 2 days. No Kleenexes even… Wall plugs were really badly located.

Honestly, I certainly won’t be back and demand a full refund.

It was fine for a single night. I got a room with no amenities in the room but it was very clean. Small shower head but the water was hot. I liked the location and check in and out was easy. You pay more for a fridge or microwave room. The only negative was you could hear when everyone left their room as the door slamming was very loud.
