There were holes in the walls covered with office tape, rust and black stuff all over the bathroom, hair on everything, sheets had stains and pillows looks torn and dirty. I checked out as soon as I could to stay at another hotel.

It’s okay… this hotel has a lot of things that are on the brink of breaking yet they have a policy that you must pay for any damage to the room. I felt I had to limit myself and be gentle with even the light switch since it looked like it was about to break.

An excellent location near many attractions near by. So many choices of food and cafés, all excellent!
Because the hotel is located ny the street, it may be noisy at times but once you fall asleep, i slept through. Very easily accessable to public transportation. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

The room was big, and it was quiet. The gym is small, but sufficient if no more than 2 people are in there. Breakfast was expensive, so we did not have it. The area the hotel is in is not that nice in comparison to other areas in the town. The nicer restaurants, shops and cafes are all about 20 minutes walk away. We found the hotel very expensive for what it delivered.

Unfortunately, Orbitz says that this property has a steam room and a sauna when in fact it has no steam room and the sauna is only for men. The hotels website states this correctly. Orbitz needs to correct this in their description.

Basic Hotel, but very well situated. Disapointed that there was no Bar or refreshments/food available except at break fast. Reception staff excellent.
Room spacious, good storage. But there was a major issue with plumbing. Water of various colours emerged from taps. After a bath, there was a layer of greasy grey slime deposited, and the same twice from the taps at the sink. Water pressur and heat was variable, and pipes noisy. There was a nasty smell from either the water or the sink drain at times..hard to tell which.
On our return to room one night we found it full of hot steam, the hot tap, and the shower in bathroom had turned themselves on at full pressure. Others in our party had similar problems in their rooms.

Excellent Hotel right in the center of Gyeongju. I have never seen an hotel that clean and the staff is really nice and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and large, location of the hotel is perfect, as we could walk or ride the bike in minutes to most attractions. The only thing maybe I heard my family make comments about was the breakfast but honestly it did not bother me, it is always difficult to satisfy everyone's taste. I would highly recommend this hotel.

- bath towel got 2 big holes. Staff exchanged a new one.
- found opened condom wrapper in nightstand drawer. (Will attach pictures). I guess the cleaning lady missed it but it’s totally unacceptable and gross! Informed front desk, staff came up, apologized profusely and removed it. At this point, we decided to leave right away but because of international marathon and some convention there’s nothing available so we had to stay one night. We checked out the next day and checked in Commodore. Orbitz was informed and promised to work with hotel. It’s been 4 days. Still waiting for refund for 3 nights (paid 4 nights).

No air conditioning in spring nor soundproofing

I was shocked that I was not able to use air conditioner even though it was quite warmer weather (April), so I had to open up all the windows while I was staying in the suite and sleeping which was so noisy outside. And to make things worse, the hotel was not soundproofed at all that I could hear unpleasant sound from another room or hallway.

The hotel should not indicate that they have fitness facilities as the cardio machines are not maintained. Two of the fitness machines did not have their batteries working . The staff was indifferent when I raised the issue with them without any atemot to remedy the issue . I did not use the fitness machines and did not observe anyone else duting my three day stay.

It was raining heavily on our last day, the receptionist was very kind and unexpectedly took us to the bus station with umbrella. We wanted to hire a cab because we had a lot of luggage and I travelled with my parents who’s in their late 60’s, we didn’t realize how close the hotel was with the entrance to the bus stop. I really appreciated the kind gesture of one of the receptionist who took us to the bus station. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location. The bus from the high speed rail station stops across the road and the bus to the station is just a few yards down the road. About 5 minutes walk away is the historic tumulus park. The bus terminal is just around the corner - coach tours start there.The rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast is OK - but is much more expensive than the simple breakfast we had in Seoul. If you struggle with the korean language there is a Macdonalds just next door.

This hotel is rather new with spacious, clean room and comfortable bed.
The buffet breakfast is quite good too.
What impressed me most is the location in Gyeongju, it's only 3-5 mins walk to the intercity bus terminal. and probably 10 mins walk to the tourist attractions - Cheonmachong and Cheomseongdae .

The hotel is centrally located to some of the historical sights, and close to the bus terminal. If you are looking to do the city tour, the tour office is 3 mins from the hotel.

The staff could be a little more welcoming, but this could be because of the language barrier. The room was very spacious. The staff cleaning the rooms can get very delayed as 1 of the days, the staff did not stop by until after 3pm even though I was out of my room at 9am. I ended up skipping the cleaning since I was already back in my room at 2pm.

Breakfast was on the expensive side for the food that was offered but there weren’t many options outside of the hotel besides McDonald’s, Starbucks or Paris Baguette.

Stayed one night 11/12/2018. Check in was smooth and friendly. We were given upgraded room with spacious bathroom. Room was modern, simple and clean. Staffs were friendly and helpful with good restaurants list nearby. Central location to bus, taxi, and major attractions. I speak Korean so I don't know how fluent staffs' English. Overall, I would stay again if I visit the city again.

While the location was excellent in terms of getting to the bus terminal, it was kind of hard to find korean food that was open or food was abit pricier maybe because it is near a tourist hotspot. But in terms of the hotel, very clean, and very comfortable. I would come back here next time for the convenience of being close to the bus terminal.

We are neutral about the hotel. It was worn, but functional. Service was good. Morning breakfast was nice. Shower drain was somewhat plugged. Room size was adequate for 2 people. Safety is important in Korea, and this hotel provided it.

The hotel itself is clean, affordable, and well-located for what we wanted to do in the city. Major downside: The air conditioning is seasonal, and it does not say this on the info from the hotel or hotels.com. Our room was incredibly hot and when we tried to use the air conditioning we were told they did not turn it on until May and we should open the window. There was only 1 window, it was in the middle of the city so there was traffic noise, and the air quality that evening was really poor. So even though the room was comfortable and clean and we paid extra for a deluxe room we did not sleep well at all and woke up not feeling well due to the air quality.

Front line staff, especially Christina, were very helpful with us guides to the places of interest. The location is superb as its near to the Korail train station,intercity bus terminus as well as the local bus terminus to all the places of interest in geongju.
