Lovely traditional homestay in a great location in a fantastic city. The hosts are super friendly and the rooms are clean clustered around a pretty outdoor area. \"Traditional\" = no hooks or places to put things though which may be a boon for a longer stay.
The breakfast was modest.

Loved our stay! Hanbok was beautiful, from front gate to garden to room. Everything was spotless, comfortable and quiet at night. Very convenient walking to historic district, food or bus. Host communicated info before arrival and was kind and helpful. Highly recommend, wish we had stayed longer.

This place was absolutely adorable. It was quaint and quiet, but also in the best location. It’s in the middle of everything in the best way. Convenience store on the corner and an amazing park across the street that I kept finding myself going back to. Almost everything I wanted to see was within walking distance, but there was a very close bus stop for all the place that were farther away. Breakfast was simple with tea/coffee, pastries, and fruit, but delicious. The ladies that ran it were so nice and attentive, as well. I was also able to leave my bags after check-out. The bus station was easily walkable or only a few dollars by taxi if you have heavy bags. I really enjoyed Gyeongju and will definitely stay here the next time I’m in the area.

Host is really sweet. She provides new towels and water bottles daily. For breakfast, she personally provides toasted bread and jam and coffee and tea. Our room was really clean. Location is excellent, a walking distance to many tourist attractions. Lots of food and shopping a walking distance away. I recommend this place.

Walkable to all major attractions of this museum city, in addition to being a short distance from the city center if you need to do some shopping. Lovely property, super clean, well-kept, and the hosts make an effort to communicate with non-Korean speakers, their patience was so appreciated. The rooms are modern, a good size and had strong AC for the hot and humid summers. Lovely stay!

This is a beautiful quaint Hanok property. The exterior is historically picturesque while the interior is modernized. It’s super clean and very conveniently located to the historical sites, and the main strip of local shops and restaurants. A stone throw away is a 7/11. A lovely Starbucks is nearby. About 20 steps to the right from the entrance is a wonderful restaurant that looks like fine dining but the food costs is inexpensive. I wished I booked more nights here. It’s a very relaxing place to be.

I absolutely loved my stay here and wished I had booked a longer stay. The hanok was very beautiful and comfortable. The heated floor plus comfy futon allowed me to have a good nights sleep. The hotel is located close to many of the major sites in Gyeongju, allowing you to walk wherever. There are also several great restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was in a great location and very walkable. It was clean and while a but sparse, had nice amenities, an amazing shower (the heater was a treat!), and to my partner's delight, Netflix. The owner is lovely and the room was ready even we arrived a little early. While a light breakfast is available, if you want something more substantial, Gyeongju is very accessible from this location with plenty of options. Like most places we stayed in Korea, the towels were small but surprisingly absorbent. Overall, wonderful stay.

Excellent place to stay if you want to experience an authentic-y hanok lodging. The room we stayed in had aircon and a flatscreen TV available and toilet and shower that was separated from the main room by a sliding wooden door.

The location is just outside the Cheomseongdae Observatory, one of Gyeongju's tourist attractions and within walking distance to a convenience store. Many cafes are around the area and some great restaurants that require a small walk.

Shoutouts to the kind and friendly housekeeper that, despite the language barrier, was incredibly helpful and accommodating.

We liked staying in a traditional Hanok and the owner was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was included. As the attractions in Gyeongju are spread out it is going to be difficult to get to all attractions wherever you stay. This place was conveniently located within walking distance of many of the old Silla buildings and mounds as well as the museum.

The host was so kind and used a translator app to interpret and make sure all of our questions were answered; she was so responsive and helpful! This place was amazing. The couple that run the place were so nice and even if they don’t speak English, they tried so hard to be helpful, specially the man. He ordered us a taxi and was very involved until the taxi arrived the next day.
The rooms are a typical Korean house but they are so clean and spacious. They have a TV, WiFi and outlets.
The bathroom was very clean and size appropriate.
The guest house is in a perfect area to walk to the castle and museum or to find something to eat. There is a convenience store around the corner.
There is a bus station close so it’s easy to go to other places that aren’t as close to the guest house.
I was really surprise that despite it being close to a garden, trees and stuff, there weren't insects inside the room. I was a little scared that by sleeping in the floor, that would be a problem, but it wasn’t at all.
I would recommend this place without a doubt.

Good points first - great location close to nice restaurants, cafes and historical sites. The garden view from the room was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting there with the doors open. The rooms were more spacious than other hanoks we’ve been to and the bathrooms were modern. A simple breakfast is included.

Cons - soundproofing between rooms isn’t great which is to be expected with hanoks even with modern builds. Most of the time it’s fine as other guests are usually respectful and quiet. The first night, we slept well. The second night, we didn’t sleep well because the rude family next door was shouting and laughing loudly until nearly midnight despite us asking them to keep it down. I would still recommend a hanok stay but it depends on luck whether you get crappy guests or not.

Excellent location to explore the historic Gyeongju. Took the train from Seoul to Gyeongju and then a bus from train station took us directly to the hanok. There’s a convenience store around the corner so you can get everything you need. Main tourist attractions are within walking distance. And the main tourist area is 10 minutes walk around with lots of restaurants and shops. Room is warm and it’s an experience sleeping on futon which took some getting used to. Highly recommend this place. Beautiful building.

Beautiful setting, convenient to historical sites. However, the sleeping mats were less than one inch thick. Literally hard as a rock. Floor is heated, which was nice in winter. Towels are the size of hand towels and extremely thin. Breakfast is instant coffee, packaged white bread with jam, and an orange. Very disappointing.
