Good: Walking distance to main bus station. Bad: The room was very close to the elevator creating a lot of traffic and noise. Guests slamming the doors. Bathroom was not cleaned, in fact the toilet, filled with feces was not even flushed! Hand towel was dirty, bath towel was ok. There is TV in the room but no channels were available. No phone in the room. When I asked receptionost to call Bolt or Uber for me early next morning, I was told this hotel does not deal with them, only with regular taxi service and if I want their service I should call them by myself!? Last year, I stayed in the same hotel, but got much nicer and quiter room and everything was clean.

Were only there 1 night en route from Budapest to Zadar by bus. Closeness to bus station was great. Room was large but had no tea/coffee making facility or fridge. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good hotel but the staff did not care much for privacy. I had no 'do not disturb' tag - they claimed they ran out that day (why would they not have enough? Was it just my luck?). So I told them that I did not need room cleaning. They skipped it for the first day, but did the cleaning on the second day to my surprise. I was really upset they put my pjs on some dusty dresser. Now I get to live with dirty pjs for the rest of my trip. They also took away some of the towels I had plan on using. So beware, if you do not need room cleaning, you need to tell the staff every single day!

The hotel isn’t too far from the main bus station, but is in an area that is a bit run down. The hotel itself looks very nice and the rooms are good except for small details like power plug fittings being broken, no toilet paper dispenser and for some reason my bed side power port didn’t work. Other than that it’s a very nice hotel with a restaurant next to the reception that serves pizza.

Decent hotel. Receptionist is very pleasant and welcoming. Clean and comfortable. Wifi and hot water is good. There's a Tommy supermarket to stock up your supply. There is no kettle in the room to make tea or coffee. I found that in Croatia, there is no kettle in the rooms.
The only issue is there are limited choices of restaurants in the area as the hotel is not in a commercial area. You can walk or take the no 6 tram to the city center.

All staff were friendly and helpful. They forgot to charge me for dinner in the invoice when I checked out. As the receptionist cannot find any record from the kitchen, she told me it was free. She was also helpful to instruct my taxi driver what help I needed at the bus terminal. It helped me a lot as the ticket machine was down. The room was clean but the corridor needs attention.

Just an overnight stay between flight connections. Very easy to take the airport bus to the hotel. Only 5 minutes walk from the bus station to the hotel. I would definitely return for a longer stay in Zagreb as it was an easy walk from downtown parks, shops etc.

Booked a simple, inexpensive twin as a stop over enroute. Room okay on first floor size wise and a decent balcony, but .... threadbare towels, ripped bed linen, single hard thin pillows, poor matresses, and large painted over damp stains in corners of room by bathroom and wardrobe, cracked sink, shower drain blocked with matted hair. Arriving later than planned and In a rush we checked in and left for evening out in the town. Returned during thunderstorm to find bathroom was leaking from the ceiling (apparently third floor owners terrace flooded and water leaking down the floors .. and not for first time we were told which explained damp on walls). We were offered a room change, and although both alternatives a little better furnished, smaller and no balcony so we declined and used extra towels to dry bathroom floor.
Man on reception was extremely polite, service minded and an asset to the hotel. Based on room assigned and the alternatives cannot recommend, especially considering cost, parking an extra 7 Euro, and hotel is not in a very good neigbourhood on a 4 street junction with at least a 45 min. walk into old city.

Location for the hotel was great.It was only 8 mins away from the main bus station.Wifi was good, stable and fast.Soundproofing is okay just could hear someone bang the door sometimes.Breakfast is okay.The cleanliness of lobby & hallway was fine.But the room was stink especially the bathroom.The sink had lots of marks.I don't think the cleaner does the cleaning properly.The towels were old and had marks on it.Overall, I don't think it worth as a 3 stars hotel and the price.And the most upset part is one of the staff there.This staff is rude, nasty and mean.Normally, it wasn't a problem for the guest to stay at the lobby even though they had already checked-out.Plus there was a plenty of places for people sitting.I couldn't understand why that man had to questioned me loudly for the reason I was still there and the place I was going next.Plus he said to me I couldn't stay there if I don't drink or eat anything.Well, I don't mind to get a drink for the seat there.But he forced me to have a piece of cake although I refused for few times.This action really irritated me.I had to say I knew what I want.If not, he might bring me the cake and asked me to pay for it.

Seem not to be able to make an agreement. First they approve that though I booked for 2 nights, I had to pay only for one. A week later they tell me they going to invoice me also for the 2nd night. Which I did and I am not going to argue.

It ticked all of my boxes
I choose 'Business Type Hotels' and the Hotel Slisko met all of my requirements. It is located about 4 minutes walk from the Bus Terminal, where the direct Airport Bus terminates and alongside the Terminal is the Tram Station which gives easy and cheap travel into the City Centre and the main Railway Station.
The Hotel is clean and simple, with friendly staff. I was in a room overlooking the crossroad which didn't cause me a problem, but if you are a light sleeper you may wish to opt for the more expensive rooms in the newer part of the Hotel, which are further away from the junction and therefore quieter.
The Hotel doesn't do evening meals, so you will have to go out to eat. The Restaurants close to the Hotel are limited so I mainly went into the City Centre to eat.
The TV did not have any English speaking channels ( I like to watch the BBC World Service when abroad if possible ) so I was able to do some serious reading for a change.
I would have no hesitation in staying at the Hotel Slisko if I visit Zagreb again.

I only stayed here one night on my way out of Croatia, but I flew in early from Split and had a whole day before flying out next morning. Staff was friendly and helpful, and was able to get me into my room earlier than check in time. The hotel is near bus station, and a quick taxi ride (or walk, as I did) to the old town area.So, location is decent depending on what you want to see/do. I have no complaints about my stay here. It was nice enough and all I needed.

It's a lovely hotel! We stayed twice and both of the visits were excellent. Highlights include an outstanding breakfast buffet, a fun, large and reasonably priced corner room, friendly helpful staff, nice atmosphere, quiet rooms, and a very convenient location. We came once with a car and again by bus. The bus station and airport bus shuttle are only a short 2-block walk. They even stored an extra suitcase for us. This was our favorite stay during our month of travel.
